Opiniones de Eat @ Thai Berkeley
Everything was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Only downside was there were so many delicious looking items on the menu that it was hard to choose.
We really enjoyed the food here. They had duck curry, drunken noodles and their house special seafood dish was delicious. It was super convenient (next to Holiday Inn Express) and they were friendly and fast. We called in our order and walked to pick it up. We know and love Thai and this place was definitely up to our standards. I’m having some for breakfast now. Good portions means leftovers which I love.
First time here at the recommendation from a friend. I've gotta say the prices were a little high, but worth every penny. The meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the Mango Sticky Rice dessert.... The best! Sorry that I didn't take the time for pictures! I couldn't wait! Presentation of the meal was spot on!!
The restaurant was quiet on Thursday afternoon and the waiter was courteous. The salmon green curry was delicious. I will be back to try more of the menu. Nice lunch spot for remote working as well.
one of the most nicest people working there always making sure everythings okay, their quick and the food tastes so good, the atmosphere is so filled with joy and the music is always a bop. it is could i wiuld give this place 14/10 amazing service
“Eat@Thai fried rice” was phenomenal. I order it’s very spicy and with prawns. The fried rice was made to perfection. Juicy, filled with veggies, flavor everywhere. I got Thai chili peppers on the side and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I’m coming back for more.
Wow, great decor, excellent food, and fast, friendly service. The decor initially attracted us. We thought a restaurant which decided to make such a nice place for their guests was likely to have excellent food. Indeed, they do. Go and enjoy! We were back in Berkeley and ate there again today. The food was again excellent. The staff are also quite pleasant.
Great food! We came in at 11pm sunday night and the food and service was great!
Food was amazing, served hot and delicious, service was amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Maybe we came at a good time? Duck noodle soup was incredibly flavorful and I loved the wide noodles. Came late on a Friday with a group of 5, no complaints about the food. But the duck noodle soup was especially good, would recommend getting that.
The food tastes good and the service is great. I especially love that it's open late.
Great staff, food and drinks served quickly. We ordered pad Thai and the pad ped tilapia, both were super fresh and tasty! Will definitely be coming back for more.
Wonderful American type inspired and quite creative dishes. Food is absolutely delicious every time! They are open until 2am every night! I order ahead and pick up. I live in SF, but drive to Berkeley bcuz it's totally worth the trip. And inside this restaurant with a beautiful bar is really nice and spacious! You gotta see it for yourself.
I am inlove with this place, since I started eating Thai food back in Sacramento, I was looking another Thai spot here in the Bay and I found Eat at Thai. Food is amazing very friendly.
Best thai food i have ever eaten. Not oily, portions enough for 2-3 people.
You know what from my experience so far this place has been great and the staff have been nothing but kind. The food was great and I found nothing wrong with it, and the atmosphere is nice idk why ppl are complaining. I would eat here again :)
When I tell you this place is one of the best Thai spots in the Bay, I am not kidding. This place is as authentic as it gets. The owner Alise always greets you with a warm smile and the cook is the sweetest Thai lady who just puts so much heart into her cooking that you could taste it through the dishes! The server Leaf has the best attitude. Amongst my favorites are the house soup which is similar to the Thai glass noodle soup but just way tastier than any other place that I’ve tried it. I swear to GOD!!! Their pad thai is so delicious and flavorful. Also their tum yum is so amazing! They don’t mess around with the spice levels so be prepared to handle if it you request for Thai spice. Honestly, the reviews do not give this place the glory it deserves. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You won’t regret it!
I had Pra Ram with chicken and Chicken Satay. It was absolutely delicious. What I appreciate it most is that they gave plenty of peanut sauce. A lot of Thai restaurants skimp on the sauce, but not this one. I also enjoyed the authentic environment of the restaurant. The restroom left something to be desired in the way of cleanliness, but I didn't let it take away from my enjoyment of this experience.
Eat at Thai has always been a go to on DoorDash for me, but the other day after a Berkeley graduation I went in at 11 pm. I was seated right away and catered to immediately. The food was so good and fresh even for the time of night. The staff at that time was ran by just 1 woman who I saw was balancing the DoorDash orders and hosting 4 other tables as well. She made sure that everyone was refilled and satisfied while not having dashers wait either. Eat at Thai will always be a place I will be a customer at. Edit: 4 months after the initial post I’ve been back 2x and still love it. So consistent, i have never been disappointed. I moved over 1.5 hrs away and will make the drive here. Lily, our server, was so attentive. 5/5 always.
Ordered take out on a rainy night and this fried shrimp appetizer was super delicious and filling!! It felt like whole meal in itself. They were quick to push out the order and were very kind!
I ordered a honey ginger tea for my sore throat while doing hw and it was amazing tasted amazing and really helped me, costumer service was amazing guy was really chill and talkative. The surroundings are amazing the paintings and furniture are awesome. WiFi too so a good place to study and talk with friends
Amazing food. Incredibly delicious from start (Golden Bags,Sriracha Shrimp) to Entrees(Yellow Chicken Curry/Shrimp Pad See Ew) to the amazing and Icy Hot Dessert(Mango Sticky Rice). The mango was icy cold and the sticky rice was hot with the light coconut sauce not too sweet just perfect! Incredible Thai Iced Tea and will be coming back for more.
I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door and needed to get dinner so walked over and practically had the place to myself. I felt a little bad for them having few customers but I really enjoyed everything. I kept it simple and just ordered pad Thai with chicken and it was perfect. I definitely recommend this restaurant whether you’re staying at the hotel or not - it’s definitely worth a visit!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Bay Area! Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area, promise you won't be disappointed with these tantalizing flavors and attentive service.
I’ve had the fried rice 2 days in a row! Sooo good, amazing price
This is definitely a 5 star Thai restaurant! I love Thai food and eat it all the time everywhere I travel for work. My husband and I had the fresh rolls and typically they are served with a peanut sauce, this was served with a sweet dressing with peanuts in it…very delightful treat! We also ordered cucumber salads. Here they had jalapeños added to my surprise. I noticed them right away but it still took me by surprise in one bite. I love spicy so it worked for me. My husband likes a little spice so he removed his jalapeños before eating his. Either way, another delightful treat! He ordered the yellow curry with beef and sticky rice, and left nothing on his plate. I ordered the pad garlic and pepper with tofu. WOW! By far the best tofu I’ve had! Bravo chef!! When I’m the area again I will definitely return for the great food, cheerful and attentive waiter and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere!! A definite recommend from me!!
10/10 experience - the food was fantastic (highly recommend the spicy eggplant and vegan Thai tea with oat milk), atmosphere and decorations are gorgeous, and the staff is kind and so fast! Can’t wait to come back 😍
The crab Rangoon and the grilled beef sirloin were fantastic. Lemonade was a little too sweet. Staff are really courteous and welcoming.
Amazing food amazing service good prices .
I normally ask for extra extra extra meat, and I have been happy every time! Food is great and so is the Thai Coffee!!!

I can’t say enough about how amazing this Thai restaurant is! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional—our server was friendly, and they made great recommendations. The food was flavorful and fresh; the Panang curry had a rich coconut base with just the right amount of heat, and the Thai iced tea was a perfect complement. The ambiance was lovely—elegant and tranquil, with beautiful Thai decorations that set a relaxing mood. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Thai cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.
Ordered the vegetable red curry on DoorDash and they did not disappoint. Got it extra spicy and I baked up some shrimps to go with it. Enjoyed it so much I had to go to the restraunt in person and was surprised to see the artwork and functshway was so in line with what a trip to Thailand feels like that I ended up ordering two mojitos while I sat their thinking of the great time I had in Thailand.

I had the Roasted Duck Curry with brown rose and thought it was pretty good! I’m not a big fan of hot spicy food but it had just enough kick that I could still enjoy it without burning up. Enjoy
Drunken noodles and Sriracha shrimp were AMAZING!!!! Really reasonably priced but just great flavors!

Most impressed about the cleanliness of the restroom. Also absolutely enjoyed talking to the nice waiting staff. Dishes were so so. We ordered 3 Dishes and a soup pad Thai pad eggplantand param beef. I will give them credit for their sliced beef. They didn't batter the meat which we liked. As to the flavors, none stood out. Pad Thai was overly sweet. Tom kha hadn't too much content other than too much coconut milk. Thai tea was ok.
Extremely friendly service and food comes out extremely quick but the quality is not up to par with some of the better Thai restaurants in the area. The noodles are overcooked and the texture isn't correct, the sauce isn't authentic and the bean sprouts were on the bottom making for wilted soggy bean sprouts instead of a crunchy refreshing bite. Also portions were the smallest of all the Thai restaurants I've been to.

We were happy it was open late. The place is nice. The service was sub-par. By the time my calamari arrived, it was cold. She was kind enough to get a new order. The timing was off. I like to try calamari everywhere I go. For you calamari lovers... don't waste your money. I had the seafood panang curry. It was OK.
Ordered the Drunken noodles for delivery. Chose Medium spicy out of medium spicy or spicy or very spicy. It was terribly spicy. I am someone who can handle spice, but this was beyond spicy. Not recommending to anyone.
VERY DISAPPOINTING I've eaten at every Thai restaurant in the East Bay for over 20 years, And have reviewed over 1,000 restaurants in the Bay Area, I have to say, my experience here was REALLY disappointing. The pads-see-yew was all mushed together it had no sauce, the Pad Phrik king had no flavor, it just didn't have that Thai food flavor, it tasted like it had been steamed and not braised, and the 'two for one" imperial rolls tasted and chewed like they had been frozen for a month. It is not the most expensive place in the East Bay, but at these prices I expect to get better food. VERY disappointing.

The pork ribs were burnt to a crisp. The eggplant, shrimp, and vegetables were salty. The pumpkin curry was forgettable. And the service was substandard. I had to get up 3 times to search for the waitperson (busy on her phone) although there were only 2 other diners in the place. To add insult to injury, I had to take napkins from another table because the waitperson provided tiny thin wafer napkins for a hands on rib dish and charged for the smallest size take out box. That was an all time first. With all the Thai restaurants in Berkeley, no need to eat at this one. Will not return.
NUT WARNING! I ordered late night from this restaurant for my friend who has a nut allergy. Turns out the Pa-Nang Curry has nuts in it even though the description did not provide that detail. She’s now suffering from swollen lips, swollen tongue, red itchy rash all over face, body, arms and chest. 😡 There was not an option to put in the food allergy or leave a note to request no nuts. Only “call to inform of allergies” and they didn’t answer the phone. SO SKETCHY!!!
The restaurant smelled horrible & that should have been a sign but some people from the neighborhood raved so I tried a to go order. They were wrong. The food wasn't fresh. & the flavors were lacking. I ended up tossing it out for fear of getting sick because 1 item was fried. I think people who find it good must also be dirty. Highly disappointed.
Large portions but terrible terrible pad thai (veg and tofu order). Noodles were mushy and vegetables were extremely overcooked. No flavor at all. Lot of noodles and soft vegetables, very little tofu. I honestly just threw it away. I would not order from here again. There are many other better Thai places nearby.
