Opiniones de Tap In Lounge Berkeley
New to the area. Impeccable service. Lane was attentive and showed me how to use the taps in the back! Never been somewhere with that type of tap system! So exciting to have this system where you can just try so many things and experiment. Great music, great vibes. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. The range of service was wild, so good.
Amazing drinks and ambience. Umar did an amazing job with a surprise cocktail off his own creativity outside of the menu, which we really loved. If you’re up for an adventure definitely recommend Umar’s specialty cocktails over the ones on the menu! I only drink at top 50 bars in the world and I made an exception for this place and it was worth it!
Randomly stopped in here around lunchtime one day. I had the "Famous Chicken Tikka Pizza" because, well, it's famous. I honestly was expecting it to taste rather poorly. BUT IT WAS SO GOOD. It's a bit of a walk for me to go there frequently, but I will be back. Based on the pizza, I would absolutely eat their other foods. Staff was friendly and service was prompt.
My favorite spot in Berkeley. I come here once a week & friends who visit the town are never disappointed :)
It’s been awhile and they’ve really changed decor. They’re a lot more hip, with a self-serve tap room, 2-3 arcade games, and even shelves for ice cream and cigars. Still Indian / American fusion, still tasty

What an interesting concept…. It amounts to a self serve credit card for beer. Great variety, pour a taste, try another…….what fun! The staff was quite lovely, attentive as well. The menu includes all manner of options although I went for the beer. The pizza was very tasty, aromatic, so two thumbs for the ‘za but can’t say much more than that for food. Atmosphere was dark, club-like, so not the place for bright and airy (but we’re talking beer drinking here so….. who cares!)
Got drinks here after dinner in the neighborhood and we were extremely impressed with the quality and inventiveness of the cocktails on offer. If you’ve been to East Bay Spice Company then you know the kind of creativity they offer- it’s the same situation here but closer to downtown. We loved our servers and would absolutely come back for drinks.
I am a regular visitor here ever since I found it. The vibes are immaculate and there is a speakeasy in the back. It is such a nice environment with friends when you order happy hour bar snacks like popcorn chicken with tikka masala sauce, not to mention the $10 flatbread specials on Wednesday, and the beers on tap. Everything is so good here and the staff is lovely.
such a cool spot for food & drinks and open after midnight! Luisana is the best, so sweet and attentive! the fries & the naan were sooo good, definitely going to come back earlier when the pizza isn’t sold out 🍕
great cocktails (try the bangalore for sure) and really good flatbread too! cute lil speakeasy in downtown berkeley
This place is top notch. I’ve been going here for about a year now and the service has always been great, food quality always top notch, and service/atmosphere is always friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for anything from a casual bite to eat to a fun night out.
Maybe the food isn't objectively 5-star food, but given that the place is also cozy, open late and quiet enough to talk, it's an amazing package

I can’t believe I passed by this place for 6 months. The signage isn’t great, but they put a sandwich board outside so I finally saw it. I had a good/inexpensive lamb curry. The draft beer selection is good. They also have pizza and function like a corner store with beer, wine and soft drinks and snacks to bring home. This is definitely going to become a regular spot for me.

Since the place is kind small, the seating is communal (it can get tight). There were a few fruit flys when we first walked up to the taps. (I have to be honest) However the atmosphere was still smooth it was great big portion of chicken / fries and they were very tasty. I definitely would be back. My video i didn't save so I'll post pictures after my next visit.

Name is a bit confusing and misleading; expected a pub/bar with food that was appropriate (and a wall of beer taps). Instead I encountered Indian food, drink coolers full of cans/bottles - no taps, and stale pizza served by unfriendly counter staff. I was not offered a freshly poured beer, just making that clear - the less than helpful man behind the counter merely pointed to the wall of drink coolers and asked if I wanted a drink with my food. I'm a very patient / relaxed guy, but don't come here for ale or a bar/pub kind of visit. The name makes absolutely no sense for what they serve (shame on me for not reviewing their menu/website beforehand?) There's no pub food, no burgers, no steaks, no baked potatoes. Or fresh pizza; they won't offer to customize it - just reheat what's left over. I wanted a few slices of pieces and the gruff pointing to what was still on the counter is all I got (in addition to the "We don't have that" when I tried selecting other toppings). I saw 1 other person come in for food. 8-10 folks came in just for beer and drinks in the coolers. The pizza was fine, definitely not super awesome and not the flavors I wanted, though my story about dinner in Berkeley had more going on. Clearly I should have chosen a different spot for dinner. :(

I had been here a few times when the East Bay Spice Co had their collaboration, and the cocktails & atmosphere were great. That seems to have ended (new menu, no mention of East Bay Spice Co), and the overall experience was pretty bad. Service was so-so, and the drinks were outright bad (a flat gin & tonic) or cloying (cocktails from the menu)
⭐️⭐ Tap In Lounge – Berkeley I’ve been to Tap In Lounge twice, and unfortunately, both visits were disappointing. When we approached the bar, we were clearly ignored and had to wait a long time before finding any seats. Even in the tap room, we were ignored again, and I eventually had to wave a bartender down just to get service. The drinks weren’t impressive, and the space is very loud, making it hard to enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, not a great experience.

I went to tap in last night had a great time, food was amazing but when I woke up this morning my card was charged twice. 2 different transaction amounts leaving my card negative. I've been trying to call the lounge for the last hour and no one is answering. They keep hanging the calls up.
We used to come here when it was Barbarian. It’s under the same owners but they’ve attempted to glam it up. The portions and quality are terrible now. I got 3 pieces of chicken in my extremely subpar tikka masala. What you see in this picture cost $42. I was also charged $6 for 2 soda cans and they had the audacity to charge a $10 automatic gratuity. For take out! I will never go here again. I was scammed by their website prices which are not updated and was absolutely shocked by my $63 bill when it was shoved in my face at the restaurant. I’m all for spending a lot on good food but this was NOT good food!!!

I came here for a quick pint and a snack before a show at the UC Theatre. They gave my credit card to someone else, leaving me without a credit card for the concert that evening. I’m still shocked that this happened, there is literally no excuse.
I am south asian and was excited to check this place out. I walked in and asked for a menu. After handing me a menu, the white boy working there started the interaction with " this is an arranged marriage situation, where I get to choose everything for you off the menu". So offensive, maybe dont hire people who dont know how to interact with south asian women at your south asian resturant? Afterwards I read the reviews and saw a Black woman had a similar but far worse experience with the staff. Would absolutely not reccomend this place, you will not be comfortable.
