Fabulous food and a very kind staff. If you are ever looking for a high end Italian place definitely try nerano. You will not be disappointed. When your there ask to sit at Jana H. Section. She was super nice and always giving wonderful food options. By far the best waitress that I have ever met.
The restaurant has created a covid conscience outdoor dining area with privacy, distance and warmth. I have had several experiences with their device and continue to praise the pasta dishes and craft cocktails to be the stars
Went here using Resy and enjoyed a nice booth on the back patio. The Italian cuisine was delish and fun to explore. It was more expensive than I had expected, $100 pp. I would definitely go back!
The most beautiful Italian cuisine we have ever enjoyed outside of Italy and the team are so lovely and welcoming. Would highly recommend!
I've been a few times this year already and each time its been great. I've tried a bunch of places in LA and I always seem to make my way back. The service, food and ambiance are all amazing. Everything is delicious,
We had an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, the service was impeccable. Being seated by the assistant wine director, Dustin, who demonstrated exceptional knowledge of wine pairings with my meal, greatly enhanced the dining experience. His attentiveness and graciousness throughout the evening left a lasting impression. Garett and Daniel ensured that we had enough food for the evening and were incredibly efficient in clearing the table promptly. They were so kind that I had to ask for their names. Michele’s dishes were meticulously prepared and executed to perfection. The al dente pasta, a staple in my culinary preferences, was particularly noteworthy. The dessert was an exceptional highlight, showcasing the chef’s remarkable pastry skills. Overall, the dining experience was memorable and highly enjoyable. I will undoubtedly return for future occasions. Thank you.
I threw a large dinner on Oct 4th for 14 people- a mix of global execs and supporting staff. Nerano did a wonderful job! Francesco helped me coordinate with his GM to get the event scheduled and priced, and the execution day of was flawless. Highly recommend for large groups! Food and drinks were excellent, it was a hit with the crowd. Bonus points- I lost the receipt and they were able to send me a new one right away... 2 months later! Such lovely people and a lovely restaurant. Thank you!
Stopped in dined at the bar and had a wonderful experience. Met some amazing new friends there who enriched my evening and brought great joy to me as if through kismet. The staff were extremely welcoming, warm, and sincere. The outdoor dining area was very cozy and inviting as well and felt like a total departure from the city surrounding us. I would definitely recommend and come back here again!
Every dish was delicious, the Gnudi was my favorite of all. The wait staff were friendly and worked well as a team - my glass wasn't empty once the entire evening. Everyone in my party was happy and we plan to come back!
Chef Michele and his staff are phenomenal, just as is the food. They squeezed me, my wife, and our little daughter in on NYE before the rush without a reservation, and we felt like royalty. Thank you to the staff at Nerano for providing a best-in-class dining experience.
Absolutely delicious. From the first interaction with the owner all the way down to the wonderful recommendations from the bartender, waitstaff etc. I honestly cannot speak any more highly enough for Nerano. Truly a wonderful and delicious experience! I had the Spring salad to start, the gnudi al tartufo Nero and to finish Nocciolino. Superb!!
Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Had the burrata caprese and the Linguine alla Nerano— if you’re looking for a dish with fresh zucchini blossoms in LA, this is it! Staff was friendly and offered great suggestions for a mocktail as well. Great experience here.
This review is for the lower level area of the restaurant. This is just one of the best restaurant I have ever tried in Los Angeles. The food is simply amazing, the staff is wonderful and the ambiance is cool. The wine director, Davide, has extensive knowledge and you should follow his recommendations for the wines. Reservation is highly recommended, it is very easy to find street parking but Valet is also an option. On the upper level they recently opened another area where you can either have dinner or drinks. The cool idea they had was to have a different menu for the upper area. I haven't tried the food in this area, but the drinks are good. I also love the atmosphere of the upper level: you go back to New York in the 70s.
Fantastic place that really captures the essence of modern Italian food. I'm from Milan, and I had to keep pinching myself to remind me I was actually dining in LA. The food is perfectly executed, really what you would have in a high end restaurant in Italy. The atmosphere, especially in their outside dining area, is quintessentially European. We loved everything, from the cocktails to the dessert. Highly recommended.
What a pleasant surprise to find the exquisite Italian gem on our first visit to Beverley Hills. The calamari, and grilled octopus was a great starter. The Gnocchi with crumbled sausage was so delicious! My grilled Halibut was likewise delicious. Our wine, mixed drinks, and desserts made the wonderful outdoor even better!!! Ask for Dianna. Her knowledge of the menu and wine pairings was incredibly helpful. This is a must try for any lover of authentic Italian cuisine.

The atmosphere here is okay, but the food and service have been terrific on multiple occasions. Their fish are a very good and service seems a cut above other places.
My wife and I decided to try Nerano after hearing about it on the news and from the moment we sat down, it was clear this place is something special. We began with the housemade focaccia and crispy provolone—both outstanding. Simple, thoughtful and deeply satisfying antipasti that set the tone for what followed. For our mains, we shared the artichoke ravioli, the Caesar salad and the paccheri salsa piccante. Every dish was beautifully balanced and full of character. The flavors were bold without being heavy, refined without feeling precious. Truly, we haven’t had Italian cuisine of this caliber since visiting Rome and Nerano absolutely stands shoulder to shoulder with that memory. The service deserves its own praise. Our sommelier was exceptionally knowledgeable and guided us to the perfect Chianti Classico Riserva, elevating the entire meal without ever feeling performative or rushed. We enjoyed it so much that we returned soon after with friends and somehow the experience surpassed the first visit. That kind of consistency is rare. Desserts sealed the evening—the panna cotta and tiramisu were exquisite, hitting every note you hope for and then some. The ambience is elevated yet warm, elegant without pretense. I could go on, but Nerano is best understood firsthand. A true hidden gem in Beverly Hills and yes—we already have reservations to return. Highly recommended.
We dined here with a large group for our pre funk to our CA Winemasters event with close friends and it was a magical experience. The staff was top notch, all dishes were fantastic and the wine pairings were exquisite. The simply delicious deserts were just lovely to top off the whole experience. Thank you for a memorable night with our close friends. Truly unforgettable 🤩
My favorite in L.A Staff is lovely, take care of you! For the baverage, take your time, the menu is awesome 😎 Sorry for the 3rd picture, st jacques with truffle was so nice❤️❤️ I didn’t find the time to take picture. Cozy place with nice staff! For a moment with your loved ones that will call for others!
Modern upscale Italian restaurant bordering Beverly Hills and Century City. The food is rich and delicious. Outstanding service with friendly staff. Definitely on the pricier side.
Wonderful service, the vongole was spot on and we had a squid ink spaghetti with uni that was one of the greatest pasta dishes I've ever had in my life. Prices reflect quality and service so be aware, however it is absolutely well worth it.
Lovely menu, space, service and an awesome wine list. I had a light lunch with a friend, and I want to come back for dinner and vino.

Had a lunch meeting here with my partner and we both enjoyed the vibe for the "powe lunch" set. Food was delicious. I had the branzino and my partner had the ancient grain salad. Very satisfying. Looking for to trying out their pizza offering as well as coming over for dinner. There's an upstairs I discovered by going to wash my hands in the restroom. The upstairs offers a lovely private room for gatherings.
Have always enjoyed Nerano, especially for lunch although most recently we had dinner there. It's a 4.5/5.0 spot and good to keep in mind.
I had lunch at Nerano several years ago and enjoyed it. I went back with a friend yesterday and was not disappointed. We both had pasta for lunch, which we both agreed was delicious. I had the Linguine Alla Nerano which was fantastic!!! The service was great and all the staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely go back again.
Dined here for the first time tonight- food and service was great. Fantastic wine list. What really compelled me to leave a review though was their sommelier, Loris. She had amazing wine recommendations and the best vibe. So fun and cool and really knows her stuff. Bought a glass of Merlot she happened to have on special that night and loved it. She 100% made my night- hope you catch her when she’s there cause she’s the best.
Ate here last Thursday night. Had no trouble getting seated right away at 630pm. Service was excellent from the host to the waiter to the bartender and other servers. The chef and menu are new. We loved the endive salad. My wife liked the eggplant starter more than I did. The fungi pasta was the highlight. We also had the beef cheek pasta, where we really liked the pasta but the dish was small and came out warm, not hot. The filling was not something we got excited about, so would not order this again. A bit disappointed not to find more seafood dishes, like we see in the menu from the older reviews. Our table was great but if come back, especially with a group, we'll request a table further to the back. The outside seating looks wonderful, too, but I imagine that's mostly for lunch.

The service at the bar with Lizette was 6 stars. However, I'm giving 4 hear because the food was just okay. The meatballs were dense, you need a knife to cut through. The flat bread they provided was chewy and a bit stale. I recommend the shrimp and veggie croquettes. Excellent wine choice, overall it a nice atmosphere. Side note, I parked on the side prior to noticing the valet sign out front. I did pay and tip the valet and apologized but he still had a real bad attitude.
The food at Nerano was thoughtfully prepared, flavorful yet light, and fresh. My family began the meal with a pizza as an appetizer before moving on to three pasta dishes, which we consumed family-style so that we could all sample them. My personal favourite was the Gnudi al Tartufo Nero, which had the ideal texture and was pillowy soft. The prices may not be entirely justified, though, in my opinion. The prices are definitely influenced by the atmosphere because it is so mellow and perfect for dining, with great music and decor. Although the service was very attentive and helpful, at times it felt almost awkward. I nevertheless had a wonderful dining experience here.
Service was poor...slow to take order slower to deliver and slow to replenish drinks. Special of porterhouse steak was ordered but then some 10 minutes later told it was no longer available. Order replacement items that came out later than rest of table and one of those items was wrong. Spring risotto was delicious, orrechetti pasta with short rib was very good. Outdoor patio was spacious.
Absolutely remarkable food at Nerano in Beverly Hills last week. Appetizers included a crudo sampler with yellowtail, Alaskan halibut and salmon. All of the different fish were fresh and delicious. My favorite of the three was the halibut, served with cilantro, avocado, pink peppercorn and lime juice. It was light and addictive. For starters I also had the Polpo alla Griglia, a grilled Spanish octopus with olive oil over mashed potatoes. This was one of the best octopus dishes I've ever had. The octopus was grilled to perfection with distinguished char marks and had a unique flavor. I would come back just for this dish! For my entrée, the Gnudi al Tartufo Nero, a ricotta and spinach gnudi with mushrooms, toasted sage and Norcia black truffle. My server told me this dish has been on the menu since day one of the restaurant opening and I can see why! It was phenomenal. Creamy, light, airy, delicate, and most of all delicious. Clearly handmade, this dish made my taste buds sing. I also had the evening special, Colorado lamb chops with tri-color cauliflower and wild Oregon mushrooms. The portion size of the lamb was generous and the seasoning well, however I would have preferred a bit more of a sear on the chops. The cauliflower was absolutely delicious and a great side. For dessert, I had the "Dessert of the Day," a traditional olive oil cake with sorbet. The cake was great and served with fresh fruit, a perfect ending to a delightful dinner.

I think the atmosphere varies depending on where you are seated. Right next to the kitchen was just ok. The waiter was very friendly and even sang happy birthday to my son. The cod special was so-so, but I loved the polenta. My son really enjoyed his pasta.

A smaller cozy atmosphere with good service and seating both inside and outside. Salads, appetizers and desserts were wonderful and tasty. Dinner was nothing special for the price but ok especially the ‘specials’. It was a busy occasion but still worth a try.

It seemed like a standard place to host a corporate event but not a place I’d want to go to on my own time. The food was fine - nothing to write home about. The clientele definitely skews older. The tablecloth on my table was marred with food stains. I tried one of the pasta specials after they pushed it hard and was shocked when the bill came: $72 for pasta with a speck or two of sausage and truffle — double the price of any other pasta on the menu, even though those items had truffle as well. I’ll remember to ask for the prices upfront next time. The staff started clearing our plates away while some of the parties at my table were still eating, which contributed to a rushed atmosphere even though half the tables were empty. Maybe they ran out of plates…
Way over priced. Food was fine, but $72 for Branzino? Not worth the money. My girlfriend and I each had cocktails and asked for a single cube. On the bill was a $2 charge for each. That pretty much sums it up. Won’t be rushing back.
Nerano was an average dinner. Went fairly early so no one was at the restaurant which was a nice setting. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant are quite nice. Really good if you’re trying to have a special meal. The food was ok. I wasn’t blown away by any particular dish. We ordered the eggplant, sun dried tomato focaccia bread, and the mushroom pappardelle. It was solid. Not blown away but an okay meal. I do think for the price I wish it was more impactful but all good.
This is a pretty good Italian place, but nothing special. The calamari was nice and crispy, the pizza had a good chew, and the meat sauce was delicious. If you have a craving for Italian food and are in the area, hit this place up. Definitely a bit pricey, but what isn’t these days?

Food and wine was good, but not worth the price tag. They charge fine dining prices (and serve fine dining-ish portions) and we didn't think the food was THAT good. Nice setting and good service.
Mushroom pizza was salty for the price. Drink was meh. Atmosphere was nice and servers really tried to upsell you at every turn. Wouldn't return.

Two of us. I ordered the Sea Bass, pan fried. My colleague ordered the Halibut special. Both raw on the inside. On complaining they just cooked it some more!! The cook may be having a bad day but at these prices, not going back.
I wanted to love this place but i have to agree with prior reviews the chicken parmigano was so bad i had to send it back it was so thin the chicken was dried out like jerky. The halibut was not bad however smaller than even spago. I had to ask for bread i had to ask for cheese and since i didnt order booze it was hard to flag down anyone. I would never go here again . Maybe some dishes may be good but we have many choices in beverly. They suggested less chicken with a side of pasta then charged me 20 for the side . But i was so done i didnt care . I review food for a living but i think people go here to drink so i wont be actually reviewing this place .

Manager was extremely rude, would not recommend
I don’t like to leave bad reviews…. I used to go there and having a good time in the bar by myself…But last time we went with a couple friends and we had such a bad experience since the time we crossed the door…. There is one guy that is not a sever wearing formal suit… was so mean to us at first he tough we did not have a reservation and was having bad attitude with us… didn’t say hi and was so rude saying that there were not tables available even having a reservation….. after a couple minutes was the host girl who really care and sitting us in an empty table…. There’s no doubt IN THIS PLACE YOU CAN FEEL HOW RACIST IS THE MANAGEMENT …. Servers are doing a good job but definitely not going back there
