Such good food! The ranch dressing is homemade and delicious. I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was spot on. More food than I was expecting. The staff is friendly and patient as well. Definitely coming back.
Philly cheese steak is good , had a large pizza recently tasted great , I just don't like a limp Pizza needs to be cooked just a little more and I'll be happy as hell , but that will be the next time other than that the food is great limited parking though..
The calzones are to die for. I've been looking for a place that sells good calzones and I just found it. Definitely would be coming back in the future. The owner is also super nice and helpful. This place deserves more attention for its high quality of food.
This place never fails with the anchovy and pineapple pizza
Victor Jr is two for two on amazing carry out experiences for us. Fantastic service, nailed large orders both times, and perfectly on time. The food is amazing, and the portions are absolutely epic. So far we have had chicken Parm sandwiches, eggplant parm entree, pizza, Knott's, and cheeeeeeeeesecake. It's all amazing. Even the ranch and marinara are house made and delicious. Everything is packaged well and piping hot when it got home. I am so happy to find an independent shop that seems to truly care about quality, service and value. It's rare these days! I'm a fan for life.
Amazing customer service! The owner, Chet, made us feel like family. If you want authentic Italian food with out breaking the bank, you must go there! We left very full and happy! :)
Go & change your life !!! Amazing food, made from scratch!!! Christian owned establishment. I love the pizza, salad, bread, ziti, lasagna. My mom gets the meatball sandwich and garlic fries. I presume the fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious seeing it was sold out on my visit. Friendly staff too & great cooks! 🖤💜🖤💜🖤
Their Italian Sub is so good (better than Bay Cities imho). I also got their lasagna and house-baked brownies and both were delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the Philly cheesesteak. Not really a sit-down restaurant but they do have a couple of tables and chairs outside - comfortable enough for a quick bite. Friendly service too!
PIZZA. Sometimes I wish pizza could be a currency, but then I realize that i'd have to stuff it in my pockets and give it away to people, so that thought disappears very quickly. I went to Victor Jr's just around the holidays because this New York fellow misses his New York pizza, and Victor Jr's has solid reviews + it's nearby. Let's dig into it: Parking: I don't know if there's a parking lot because I walked here. I believe there's plenty of parking on Washington though. Service/Staff: They’re so kind here. I always feel welcome and taken care of. Food: Their pizza is solid. My favorite New York slices still blow it out of the water, but I still enjoyed it. I got The Jr pizza, and even as someone who can house an entire pizza myself, I could only eat half of the pie. I got pepperoni and sausage as my toppings. Price: can get a little pricey depending on the pie, but The Jr is an okay deal for 1-2 people. Recommended: Maaaybe wait until COVID dies down unless the above doesn't bother you.
I was just walking by when I smelled the food I had to go back and get something, I had the Phillies cheese steak and it was amazing. I'm definitely going back for more. The guys there are very nice and attentive to their customers. Everything is made right there in the restaurant.
Most Overlooked Italian Food in Culver City. Been here 15 years, we have many options for pizza from greasy to couture - but Vic Jr’s has always been the best take out option. Portions are nice, grab a chicken parm with $3 side of spaghetti, you’ll have for lunch tomorrow! Pizza is solid and preferable to some more trendy take out spots, think Delicious Pizza. Hot Tip: owners wife makes the desserts, if you see tiramisu, grab one.
I ordered the Margarita pizza and omg hands down the best I have ever had. I also called in and spoke with I believe the owner, he was very nice to speak with. if you are looking for a spot with good ingredients and good food this is the best spot in town. Thank you !
I get take out. I love the lasagna and the Italian chopped salad. Been ordering from them for years and the meals are consistently the same. They have something for everyone.
Fantastic food and service! The pizza and sandwiches are great.
Awesome phily chease stake. Please put napkins in the to go bags.
The employees are always super sweet. Good food
I ordered some food to be picked up the other day, my first time at Victor Jrs. I got food for the entire family so we ordered a pepperoni pizza, a chicken Philly sandwich, a Caesar salad with chicken breast and an order of meatballs. The pizza was awesome. I love that they use a spicy pepperoni. The crust was perfect. The Caesar salad was amazing. The chicken breast was superb and the Caesar dressing was incredible. The chicken Philly sandwich was tasty and huge! We couldn't believe how big it was. Finally, they call the meatballs divine for a reason. They were some of the best meatballs we have had from a restaurant. They truly are divine. Overall, everything about Victor Jrs was great and we can't wait to go back. It's our new local Italian joint!
What great food! We had lasagna, chicken parmesan, the philly cheese steak and cinnamon knot's. Everything was utterly delicious. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our order but expect that for fresh food. There's only outdoor seating but worth it for the food. During a slow spell, the owner checked on us and introduced himself. What a gem, we'll be back!
A nice hole-in-the-wall restaurant where the pizza is delicious! A few of us have been going here frequently, and the margarita pizza or the philly cheese steak sub is recommended!
One of the last great pizza makers! They have a white pizza, the Culver, which is excellent and is great for anyone who loves pizza and can't eat red sauce. All of their other pizzas, with red sauce, are also excellent. We also highly recommend their sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
As someone who grew up near Philly, this is the best cheesesteak I’ve had in LA. Comes with mushroom and onions, which is a must. The bread was pillowy and soft, and while some prefer a crunchy toasted cheesesteak, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not overly greasy, clean beef cuts, and the it was THE RIGHT CHEESE. I also got the garlic fries which were great. Definitely get a cheesesteak here to satisfy the craving.
I now understand why they have been there 25 years.. Seriously, it's the best philly cheesesteak in california so far. I ordered to go. The food didn't even make it a block away. The smell was just too good. My wife and I pulled over so fast. She has the pasta. She said the meatballs and the sauce was perfected. And the noodles weren't mush. They were al dente. But back to the cheesesteak, no cheese wiz. Just provolone. Literally, they perfected it. I take my cheesesteak game seriously and I was concerned about this place. RUN to Victor Jr's. Don't walk. Also, Daniel is awesome. We will be back. We will be regulars. I'll be getting 2 cheesesteaks for myself next time. It's seriously that delicious.
For the second year in a row, Victor Jr’s Italian Restaurant brought comforting, crowd-pleasing flavors to our elementary school's International Passport Night. After a few back-and-forths on potential options, Chet and I settled on a selection of spaghetti with marinara, baked ziti, and two trays of mouthwatering meatballs. The portions were spot on, and the quality was outstanding. You should have seen the students’ eyes light up when saw the pasta options — it was easily one of the most popular items we served. The pasta was cheesy, saucy, and the meatballs on the side were a perfect compliment. A huge thank you to Chet for his flexibility and support in making this event a special one for our community. Thank you Victor Jr's!
Oh my my my! Some of the best tasting pizza around Culver City. Their X-Large would feed a huge family or a gathering because each slice is like two huge pieces put together. The topping are fresh every time. I like the Victor Jr. Deluxe which has veggies and meat, the best of both worlds. Their homemade tiramisu is also really good! We love this place when we're craving pizza, hits the spot every time!
You can't go wrong with pizza from Victor J. Pizza always fresh, full of flavor with a crust that has just the right amount of chewiness. I also ordered the chopped salad and the dressing is fantastic with a slight tanginess, of course on top of freshly chopped ingredients.
Very nice and kind owner, the food is great

I literally just drive to Culver City from Southgate, just for their calzones and single slices of pizza I get premium ingredients I get chicken breast. I get spinach and broccoli and pineapple. I know sounds gross but it's delicious to me. Cheese blend is bomb and sauce made from scratch. Definitely 10 out of 10 for me.
They were out of lasagna, but it was a blessing in disguise-- my meatball sub had possibly the best sandwich bread I've ever had. Crispy and crusty up top, pillowy soft elsewhere, A+. Looking forward to the lasagna one day but looking even more forward to trying some more sandwiches!
Great customer service, good prices for good food and generous portions. They only have outdooor seating. We ordered pizza, spaghetti, calzone, Philly steak sandwich and it was all good. There strawberry cheesecake was different and super tasty.
Just a simple takeout place but they were so friendly and the food was great. Loved my cheesesteak-hearty, cheesy, tons of meat, peppers, and mushrooms. Husband loved his meatball sandwich. We will definitely be back!
The subs and the pizza here are legit. Actually the tastiest pizza around and the sandwiches always hit the spot. Overall this is one of the realest institutions in Culver City. They are super friendly too and clearly care about the community.
This is what pizza should taste like! Great crust, sauce and toppings and baked to perfection. I’ve live in the Rea for close to 40 years and not sure how I missed this place. I’ve driven by it literally thousands of times and it never caught my eye….until I read about it on Nextdoor. Had to give it a try and glad I did. I’ll be back!
There are several items on the menu that I consider " best in L.A.". Italian Sub. Italian Dip Sandwich. Garlic Fries. Lasagne. Philly Cheese Steak. White Pizza. I have been eating here for over 20 years and am never disappointed.

We've ordered here for lunch on multiple occasions and have always been greeted with exceptional customer service. The food is good. We go frequently. Worth checking out, and not just for their pizza. Their cobb salad is pretty good as well.
My husband and I have been eating here for the past 10 years. It’s one of our favorite places for sandwiches, salads (their ranch is Midwesterner approved), and sometimes pizza. My favorite sandwiches were the meatball sub and Philly cheesesteak. I still love the meatball sub but recently the Philly cheesesteak has changed and just isn’t as good - makes me sad because it was my favorite. I’m not sure if we will order that anymore as the cheese tastes more processed and it doesn’t have the same perfect mix of grilled onions on top. Otherwise, still pretty good.
Best Italian sub in town. But call before you go if you want something specific - they are often out of favorites! Informed today when I arrived that they don't do cold subs on Sunday even though their online ordering menu offered the cold sandwiches.
This bizarre little spot somehow chose to serve the classic Italian American 'family' menu (thing pizzas, meatball, and spaghetti ) with the addition of a full menu of Philly steak sandwiches. The interior, which is stools on the bar counter seating only, is teaming with old east coast Italian eateries from the 50's and vintage Hollywood pics, (it's across the street from Sony after all) and there are a handful of tables outside. The pizza slices are massive and evoke that old east coast profile - thin crust, sweet sauce, and gobs of cheese. The Philly cheese steak gets high marks for the damn near perfect bread it's served on; light, fresh, and toasted to perfection. The steak is more like a carne asada preparation, and the onions , while sautéed, are oddly diced, and seem to add to the "this sandwich is falling apart in my hands" feeling. The whole joint feels like it was ripped out of the suburbs of Pennsylvania circa 1985. And for that alone, it's charming.
A good place to grab a slice, and I’ll be back again soon for a whole pie.

Working in the area, everyone has suggested that I try this place out. They said the pizza was great, but I was more peckish for a solid cheese steak sandwich. Overall, the sandwich was okay. The bread was over-toasted, and the roof of my mouth is now raw from the crunchy bread. The meat in it wasn't what I was expecting. It was thick chunks/nuggets with about one third of the chunks being mostly gristle. The meat itself was rather bland, and the only flavor that really added to the sandwich was all the toppings. I got it with everything (mushrooms, onions, peppers, cheese, mayo) but probably should have asked for extra mayo. The portion size was good, and the price was decent. Service was fairly quick, and all of the staff were nice and communicative. I'll go back and try the pizza one day.

I got a cheesecake with provolone and onions and I hate to break it to you folks but there is no such thing as a Philly cheesesteak outside of Philly. I’m a Philly native and this isn’t even close. I tried this place based on the misleading reviews, I’m so sad. it’s not seasoned. There’s more onions than meat and overall just a very bland meat sandwich. Put that $16 toward your travel to Philly for a real cheesesteak
Ordered a cheesesteak which incorrectly arrived with green peppers and mushrooms on it. Their menu and website do not say these are included on the sub. After removing the wrong items this was the amount of waste (green pepper, mushroom) vs how much “meat” was on the sandwich. Being from PA this is another unfortunate attempt at a cheesesteak in LA.

The lasagna is very small and barely has any meat. They try to hide that by adding a lot of tomato sauce.
What can i say the food is OK the spaghetti and meatballs was OK, They don't offer salad or bread with the meal its aside, Garlic bread $5.95 dollars salad $6.95 and the Spaghetti and meatballs $9.95 your almost paying 25.00 dollars with tax. I will to stick to Enzo's Pizzeria there Meatballs and Spaghetti comes with Salad in a median dish and two pieces of garlic bread and the Sodas are free refills which Victors Jr"s does not offer at all you have the second drink, Plus at Enzo's they bring your meal. Plus i did not when they put Parnassian all over the Spaghetti and Salad without asking you.
I went to this place on Saturday and ordered a Philly cheese steak. I wasn't impressed. Plus when I ask the guy who took my order if the containers of dipping sauce was ranch he lied and said yes and it was some green mess faking the look of ranch. Never going back
these guys used to make the best philly cheeze sandwich. needless to say, went in today bought one and it was just awful . very little meat which was hard and it was over stuffed with onions. maybe their pizzas are better but i don't recommend a $12.00 onion sandwich
They ran out of Philly cheese steak by 12pm on a Friday. Waited for my hot sandwich until the cooks had to tell the man at the counter to give me my food. He was too focused on the to go orders for other customers to remember the actual customer in front of him. Seeing other people get their food before me allowed me to see how good the food looks. My hot sandwich turned into a cold sandwich. My sandwich was good; just not what I wanted.
I've been going to Victor Jr for the cheese steak at least 15 years now. I was super disappointment on this latest visit to find my $20 "cheese" steak sandwich no longer has actual cheese in it but instead this cheap, disgusting, white liquid that I assume is a "cheese sauce". Gross. I'm truly heartbroken. R.I.P. Victor Jr. You'll be missed. Update: Owner responds with "Thanks for you patronage but we do not sell the Philly Cheesteak for $20 we sell it for $14.50". Is that the only thing you're going to address? Okay, if you want to split hairs, I ordered mine with mushrooms also. Plus tax and tip and we are well over $20 for a sandwich. I was happy to pay that premium for your cheesesteak before you made strange decision to change your recipe. Why on earth would you do that after all those years?
