Fast service through the drive through at 2:30pm. Food was hot and fresh. Of course the rolls are melt in your mouth delicious.
The spicy chicken tenders were excellent. The fried okra and Fries were great as well. I would return to this location in the future.
I have never gotten a bad meal here. This time it was chicken tenders, fries and gravy. Just as good as ever and a family size order lasts the 2 of us at least 3 meals.
No matter how big your order they always get it out fast and hot!! Employees are always friendly!! Food is always fantastic and FRESH! Love this place, one of the few places in Big Spring you can actually get your food FAST!
My little family loves thier chicken! We've never had any problems at all. My husband likes the spicy chicken and my toddler loves the mac and cheese!
All time favorite place for chicken
Brought a football team through town and needed to feed them. Not only did the folks at this Chicken E afford us patience for a late running game, they helped us out without a complaint when we were a few boxes short. They made every effort to make our visit pleasant. I would definitely order food for my boys from here again.

Cashier wasn't sociable or friendly at all. Food wasn't hot and fresh, ice machine broken. Place was a ghost town.
When you're hungry and you want fried chicken - this is the best in town!!! Hotest in town!!! Tastiest in town!!! And the fastest!!! 10 out of 10 - highly recommend 💯
I come here to eat the buffalo style chicken wings. They are truly one of a kind. The tea is the best and can be bought by the gallon. They also have bags of ice for sale and It is the small kernel type great for eating. We all know someone who eats ice. My grandmother says they have the best livers and gizzards so I take her word for it.
Great food, but check your orders before leaving because I'm ALWAYS shorted a side or something. Very expensive compared to other fast food places, but the food is good and the sweet tea is AMAZING!
Drive threw was slow for the most part. Usually the food is great but thistime I think they knew they overcooked the chicken strips,nice kids still would eat there. Recommend

My family loves Chicken Express. Chicken is good, fresh, not greasy and full of fat pockets like popeyes. Not soggy like KFC. Good, crunchy chicken. The seeet tea is sweet, but it's good, and it's less than 1 dollar for a 32 ounces cup! Good mashed potatoes and gravy, good coleslaw, good okra, the rolls are good, fries are ok, green beans are ok. I have never had the other sides except the macaroni and cheese. I am not a fan of the over cooked squishy macaroni and cheese. The noodles are soggy and it lacks flavor..that makes me sad. The wait can be long, but, I will gladly wait for fresh Chicken to bring home to the family The prices are not cheap, but the Chicken is good and this is my family's go to Chicken place if I am not cooking it myself.
Only complaint is the younger staff likes to play around, instead on pushing orders. One time they stood in front of me just talking (and I was in the drive thru). Food is always good from my experiences.
Chicken Epress has really changed over the last year. They have been so much fresher than in the past. I just wish they treated their employees better.
My Food was good and hot , my son's food was dry over cooked spicy chicken workers were had a great attitude but a tad slow but their service made up for it.
Long waits on good and they always give you a hard time if you ask for extra sauces. It's great good except the tenders are always fried too long so the meat is dried out and the gizzards are fried too long which makes the crust hard as a rock and when you bite into it they actually cut into my gums in the roof of my mouth SEVERAL TIMES. So I no longer order gizzards there or the tenders.
Used the drive through. My order was not complete. It was missing one dinner so we had to order while we were at the window. I had asked for tarter sauce which was not included in the bag. Also we had to pay additional for the dinner that they did not put in the bag. She did not pack the order correctly or seal the box and needless to say the top order fell out and spelled all over car. We had to pull over and clean up the mess. Btw we were not even out of the parking lot. The food was cold. One dinner had a biscuit when we had asked for a roll.

same quality as most Chicken Express but this place doesn't tell you that they add a CC fee. I had the cash just wanted to use the card and would have not paid a fee if I had known.
the food is not so bad. but if you hace to wait for 1 hr for 12 pices of chiken... that is ridiculous... i saw 7 cars behind me leave the line after ordering via drivethrough. They lost alot of business. The worse thing is that I could see some employees just talking, eating and drinking while only about 4 actually were working.
This Chicken E focuses on the drive thru and neglects the walk in customers, I walked in place a to go order and waited and watched probably 20 orders go thru the drive up window and still had not got my order, finally walk up to counter and asked about my order and the lady said they were waiting on chicken tenders and I had watch them fill the been up and send them all out the drive up twice
I was honestly pretty disappointed with my order today. Paid $35 for the 20 piece "tender" meal and got overcooked chicken. Most of it wasnt even tenders, more like small chunks. Theres hardly any chicken under all the crunch breading. I know they just re did the place but they didnt need to redo the chicken. Think ill be going to gills next time.
Ordered liver/gizzard meal. Fries and roll were good. Part of okra was good and part was overcooked with a burnt taste. Gizzards were ok. Livers so overcooked that they tasted burnt and crumbled when I bit into them. What a waste of money and what a disappointment. Would have returned the meal if not for having a 30-minute drive back to them.
We waited forever to get the food and then they left out the fries and potatoes. We went back to get the sides and what we saw was horrible. The dishes were stack up, an employee licked her hand after dropping gravy on it and another hate a chicken strip above someone else's over and got crumbs all of their fish. Do not recommend going here, the food isn't even that good.
Food was stale, like it was sitting out too long and over cooked. The chicken was so hard that we couldn't eat it and had to throw them out. The only thing good was the Sweet Tea.
Awful service. Get rid of Raven since she can't pay attention or také an order right. Very disappointed. Normally service and food are good. Management needs to train better and supervise their employees better. But of course we are in Big Spring. Service at most places suck.
Been twice in the last 3 weeks because it's close and the spicy tenders are good, but the evening drive thru is pretty bad. Lady taking orders is clearly always distracted by co-workers and seems to just make up the prices if you don't pay attention yourself. Pretty sure the people behind me recognized her voice and practically peeled out behind me to abandon the drive in search of someplace better. Now I'll remember to check too, or just go in to order.
Chicken strips tasted like melted plastic and one taking your orders are always rude. No recommending this place until it improves.
This used to be a nice place to come to, but the evening manager isn't there anymore and the service has went down hill. We went inside due to the drive thru was long and all the staff were running around not knowing what to do, everyone acted like they didn't know what to do. Bouncing around from one area to another and customers standing there waiting to be acknowledged. But they were way too busy to even look at you. Wish Gracie was still there, sorry she is gone. Not really sure I'm coming back.
I used to order and eat here about 4 days a week, absolutely loved it. One day, we walked in and ordered from there and we waited for 30 minutes for our food, the manager Mandi was doing absolutely nothing and just staring at us. They had fresh spicy chicken strips (my order) and they waited 30 minutes to give it to us, and they were serving other customers. And finally, our food was given to us. And then we came another day. We asked for jalépeno ranch and Mandi said that they didn’t have any, we had a suspicion she was lying and we left and didnt order. We came back the next day, Chico (a great manager) was working there and Mandi was absent. Me and my dad asked a worker that was there yesterday if Mandi lied about the ranch. She did. He apologized for her behavior. Unfortunately we stopped going there altogether because the food quality and service was terrible while Mandi was at her shift. We also heard that Mandi had other complaints from other customers. Chicken Express was my favorite restaurant until the poor service made me lose interest. I’d be happy to go there daily again if Mandi got fired and I’m sure plenty of other customers as well would be happy. Thank you for listening.
Service was sub par (common these days), food was good, dined in, no plates were provided to eat.
Got to the restaurant at 9pm to find the employees cleaning up (they close at 10). I ordered my food and saw the cook also cleaning up. My tenders were old, cold, and hard. The fries were also cold. The biscuit was harder than a rock and un edible. The workers started draining the tea bins at 9:15 while people were still in the restaurant. I had to run over to get a refill of tea before it drained out. I'm pretty sure the owner would want his people making food until closing time. There were 10 people in the restaurant and they were trying to close the restaurant. This is unacceptable business practices. Sell good food until closing time!!!
This used to be my favorite place. Order was incorrect, biscuits were hard as rocks and chicken was dry. Plus it was expensive!
Ive had both good and bad experiences. my last order of gizzards was over cooked. if you want to dine in rhis summer be ready to sweat they haven't had a c for years.
HORRRIBLE!!!!!! My boyfriend goes in to get a family size thing of fries THATS IT and it take 45 minutes. That’s ridiculous! I go in to see what the hold up is and there’s food all over the floor in the kitchen. I definitely won’t be going back anymore til they learn how to hurry tf up.
Great people with good attitudes and they have wonderful and are easy to get along with and the remodel lookes amazing and I have been coming here since they opened and I would not trade the morning workers for anyone because they are willing to help at all times and I thank God for them and pray for them all the time.
We walk in and see an employee over by the tables talking to some of her friends at first I thought she was taking them their food, but no she was just visting, Iwe approached the counter and another employee said we will be with u in a min, he was busy making an order for the drive. I told my husband what I wanted and headed to the bathroom... when I came out my husband was still waiting and I was approaching the counter again her friends were leaving and she was walking back to the counter to wait on us... very frustrating to have to wait when there were only 2 tables full of people when we got there one tables with her friends and one table with some older gentlemen...that's all... no reason for us to have to wait... last time I remember is that ur hired to Work not to visit with ur friends... customers come first (Priority ) she also looked as if she didn't want to be there lazy attitude, there was no Sweet or unsweetened tea, the noey packets were all stuck together salt packets were hard.. when we got our food mashed potatoes were room temperature gravy was too... I asked for butter and she told me it was on the counter I said no theres not any I already looked so she asked how many I needed and said four and she brought me some... just sad, people get hired and paid to do a job and they get paid for half the work while the others pick up the slack... totally employees I saw was 3 male 1 other female besides the young lady that made me decide to go through the drive thru next I'm I want chicken express... I rather deal with the guys through the window.

It smells like sewer water in the lobby. They have a drain in the floor inside the mens bathroom with no cover over it and it is backed up with sewer water and smells pretty bad. Surprised that the health dept. doesnt shut this place down
Dinning area very dirty and it was after lunch rush, no napkins available. Store owner needs to review his staff. Chicken tasted good though.

The last time I ate from this place was when I was finished with my football game and they gave us chicken from here while we were on the bus. And when I took a spoonful of mashed potatoes no no no sir that was not it. They put way to much pepper in their mashed potatos I was literally sweating I swear they put like the whole bottle in it.
Wow... I don't know why people eat here the food taste like it was made 3 weeks ago and the tea was old and my full experience was a tragic fate. I waisted time an money here and I'll not eat here again.
I got two pieces meal with mash potatoes it was good, but the leg and wing where small the size of my index finger would really like more the two if it going to be that small.
Since the reopening the service there has been.less then stellar, , ...going in on 3 separate occasions to get my favorite , chicken breast and they never seem to have any available...it use to be my favorite chicken place since I live right around the corner, now I go out of my way to avoid!
This Big Spring store has let me down for the 3rd and final time. I was super excited to eat Good Ol Chicken E again. This place is a joke! Cold food, rude service and the most potholes I've ever seen at a dining establishment. Have a little pride for the food service industry and to your customers who choose to spend hard earned dollars for a hot, fresh meal.
Was at the drive thru placed my order and was in like for 30mins while the vehicle in front of me was there longer. No one ever came out to say anything. Poor management and employees don't care as well. Whoever owns this place needs to shape up their staff asap. Hardly busy and take forever to get your order out. Never again
Worst service and most ridiculous restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Long post, but it details the most unorganized and disrespectfully-run establishment in the world. I called in to place an order for pick up, was told “Hold on, let me get someone to take your order” and heard the phone placed down on the counter. No one picked up, but instead I continued to hear people placing order and workers in the store. At that point, we just drove to the store while still listening to the phone just sitting on the counter. When I walked in, I went to the counter and it took calling out to a worker to get noticed - asked for a manager, and then proceeded to show the almost 10 minute and counting phone call I was on with their store and how the phone was just sitting on the counter somewhere. He found the phone, put it up to his ear, then just hung up and walked away saying he had to talk to HIS manager. I then stood in line waiting in the meantime to place an order, got to the register, and the kid actually took TWO PHONE ORDERS right there in front of me before even trying to take mine. I couldn’t make this stuff up. Flabbergasted, I start telling him what I’d been wanting to order for my family for half an hour at this point and that I was still waiting to hear back from the “manager”, Eric, about what they would do to reconcile this entire situation. He was nowhere to be found. The guy on the register asked around if there was a meal coupon he could just give to us, but someone said they didn’t have or weren’t doing that anymore. 5 more minutes later, he went to the back and then came to me saying his manager said there was nothing they could do. The manager then came forward saying that they can’t give me any kind of discount or future meal coupon because they can’t “help that they are busy” and don’t give discounts for that. Seriously. I explained again how ridiculous it is that I literally was on the phone with no one picking it up for 10 minutes, was able to drive to the store still on the phone, and then once I did get up to the counter, the worker took 2 phone orders right in front of me before taking my order. He gave me a whopping $6 off a $37 order. I’m still sitting here, waiting for my family’s meal. It’s been 50 minutes and while writing this review, three people who have been waiting in the restaurant become (understandably) upset not having gotten their orders while watching drive-thru orders go out the window, and requested refunds. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY COMING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
This is the worst chicken express I've been to inn three states. Service is lacking, can't give correct change, can't tell the difference between carryout and dine-in, store is impossibly hot(does this place have air conditioning?). Employees seem to be just going through the motions. I will not return to this store to eat.
I don't normally complain but 3 times in a row they short me on my chicken strips, I guess they don't know how to count 🤷 I also called in to let the manager know that food was returned by someone who got the wrong order and the 3 girls that were working decided to put it back in with the rest of the food! We won't be going back again, especially because the person that returned it had his hands in the box of chicken.
I'm sorry Chicken Express but you only get one star because you were super slow. I ordered a bag of ice in a cup of tea and it took 25 minutes. Probably because the employees were inside talking and not paying any attention to me at the drive window. I tried to message but I'm not sure how. Hello thank you for contacting me. It was about a couple months ago right before I had to pick kids up that's why it was a big deal to me.
The only logical reason I can gather that this location is still open, is because it's a front for a meth distribution center. Employees at this place all act like they are on drugs and when they mess up your order and you say something, they act like your a criminal trying to steal from them even though you have already paid for the order and they just can't seem to get it together for 5min to fulfill it. Chicken is ok but not worth the poor service and the habitual errors in preparing your order.
100% a complete waste of money!!! I got a 7 piece tender combo and ALL of the tenders are the size of my finger. Go to Gills behind HEB, they're chicken is delicious anduch better deal!

Ordered two #1 (4ea. chicken strip meals) with green beans and biscuit un sweet tea. Simple Got home 1. Lids on green beans not on, so all the juice leaked out, boxes were soggy. 2. Dinner rolls NO biscuits. WHAT simple instructions. 3. Juice soaked the chicken strip breading. WHAT you eat it. 4. Could not eat green beans they tasted sour might have had mold on them. Really could not tell but something! Company needs to get their ack together!!! Was not busy no cars in line, so what's going on?
They used to be good but a bunch of uneducated ladies this round can't count 12 rolls... We usually have the gravy left out & have to make it at home that I said not this time, I forgot to check my order, I was only worried about the gravy!!! Got home & the extra rolls & the rolls that come with the 30 piece order was not there, after they forgot the gravy I had to remind them let me add!!!!! REALLY!!!! So I call to complain then what I told the manager about where is the service with a smile as no one even acknowledges me at the window lol not even the lady handing me my food... They're all teasing the one that has to come hand me my forgotten food about remember to smile, as if they shouldn't be friendly as it is... as happy employee right!! If you can't show that or show such discontent with your job move on!!! Your an adult in a teenage learning experience role so go get a real life education and get a real career or realize your role in life and be happy with it and smile!!! Your getting paid for what you do so why take your hatred out on your customers??? Why mess up your customers orders because your not happy and can't function properly??? I've spent way too much there for way too long for them to mess up and when I finally voice my complaints for the manager to me childish about it too?? Really!!! Eat more chicken somewhere else, the fact KFC has better options & does have value deals is really more appealing anyway than these idiots that can't get a single order right ever!! I counted a total of 14 recipts from October 2015 most was jst over 80$ & least just over $30 so I'm DONE with this location of chicken express after tonight's experience!!! From lunches to dinner between two houses from here on we will make the extra into town (we live by the lake) for KFC!! Oh yeah for the manager GINA that left my rolls and didn't offer anything else considering I had to drive back into town... They left the bottom box in something wet!!! The 6 rolls and the entire box was soaked and nasty but before I complain again and you share that with your employees instead of addressing it properly I'll just share my reviews with others and eat somewhere else!!! I'll be damned I spend a grand at a fast food store in a month and and have this many issues only for the manager to run their mouths to the employees that have been there a couple of weeks instead of actually addressing the customer concerns!!!! Being vindictive & putting food, bread items in something wet before being picked up by someone that said they are having to come in from out of town for their mess up!!! Not even offering free tea or anything to compensate for their mess up!!! Eat someplace where management would better compensate for their employees mess up & not have them totally foul up your paid for food you have to double back for, fair warning is all... When you're full time working families relying on other to cook your meals, I'd let anyone else but CE make your chicken & tenders!! Even Walmart felt at this point lol
The restaurant is extremely dirty. The outside has trash everywhere and so does the inside. The area behind the cashier was nasty and there was flies everywhere. They were also out of chicken legs!! A fried chicken restaurant out of legs!!! Never again. Gross!!
Slow very very slow the window attendant went and helped 2 cars behind me before even acknowledging me and then started moping the floor after taking my money. I had to honk my horn to get her attention. The slow up was for a apple pie. God only knows how long I would have waited if I hadn't honked. The very least she could have done was tell me we are waiting on the pie. Instead of ignoring me. What happened to customer service?
Went to eat about 2pm today and everything but the mac n cheese was cold. I didn't make a big deal out of but did let them know and all the guy did was look at me and say oh. That's it no I'm sorry we will take care of it or nothing. I will not be eating there again.
Waited in the drive thru for 67 min for my order. I watched nearly all the employees on their phones, hudled in a corner eating or drinking. I finally had to come inside and my order was just sitting there. Poor management and training on customer service/how to handle a rush.
I ordered a family order of fries, received a regular order. My family order if mashed potatoes was half empty. I had to divide this between 5 people because nobody would answer the phone and my family was hungry.
This restaurant is horrible!!! Drove through the drive and got lunch old chicken for dinner at 6 PM in the evening it was dry and burned from the heat lamp. I dont recommend this place! The only thing fresh was the mini poppers and sides!
Been here before when the service was bad. Waited 30 minutes in the drive thru for our food. Had to remind the workers that we were still there and they didnt know our order. We had to tell them again. Finally got our food and they forgot part of our order.
This chicken express has times on the doors that they close and it says 10:00. We got there and 9:57 and they said they are closed!!!!! They already had everything cleaned up and just told us we are closed didnt try to let us order and when we attempted to make a call in order way before this happened they told us we cant get a drink if we have a side.
Employee after taking order mentioned she was getting sick then began putting together order without gloves, then a roach was crawling across register/order counter. Manager acted put off when we cancelled order and requested our credit card credited. We love chicken express but will not stop at this one during our travels again.

If there was a no star option thats what it would be. Started out going inside, door was locked no sign anywhere saying closed. Drive through it is, order fish dinner. Pay for it at the window, employee says pull forward we're waiting on fish to cook. Sit there for almost 30 minutes, back up to window, tell employee im still waiting. Employee ask what did you order, i gave her my receipt and asked for a refund. A manager shows up giving me a refund. Out of curiosity i asked if my dinner ever got cooked. Another employee told the manager it was sitting on the counter for a while and eventually got thrown away. Manager said she was sorry. Lets just say i will not be returning to this place...
Waited 20 minutes to order at the drive thru and the young lady was extremely rude and tried to cut me off after every item I ordered. I then waited at the window for another 25 minutes only to be told they have no chicken cooked. I don't know who runs this place but they are not doing a good job of running it. Employees were on their phones and playing around. I will not be returning.
Haven’t been to this location in months.. decided to give them a try, wrong! Ordered a 3 piece and when I got home, the chicken had weird smell.. well I figured it was me.. wrong again. I took a big bite and let me tell u I almost threw up!! It was rotten!! All 3 pieces.. my hands still smell like rotten meat!! I hope I don’t get sick from that one big bite.. how can you not smell this chicken??? Shame on the big Spring store.. if I don’t get it raw it’s rotten! I tried calling but no luck.. I just didn’t want more people to get this batch or maybe just mine, idk, I just want good chicken!!!! Should I be done with ALL Chicken Express? I’m not one to post on Facebook, that would create issues..however, maybe this store will check into this!!! Doubt I get an apology!!
Usually one of our favorites but this location was awfully. Very small dry tenders with watery gravy. Couldn't dip the tenders cause the gravy didn't stick to it. Had to sip it. Old stale fry's. A bad experience.
Got the family fried chicken. The breasts are so tough you can't even chew them. The only things edible are thighs and legs. Don't waste your money on the trash meat they are using, life is too expensive these days.
Went to get some chicken on 6/22/2023 at 730. We order our food. We sat in line for 30 minutes waiting and waiting. And we were the 2nd car in line. When we pulled up to the window you can see that the workers were just horseplaying around not worrying about the food..After getting our food at 8:05 nothing smelled fresh the food was absolutly cold even my gizzards that are supposedly made fresh were cold. $70 for a bunch of cold food aint worth the long wait.
Their prices keep going up and the quality is at par. What customer base they had is shying away now. They used to be a reasonable solution; their prices have gone from$48 for a family meal to $65 in a year and 1/2. They charge 3.5% to use a card now. That's no longer reasonable. Edit: the owner decided to respond to my review so..I didn't feel the need before to include how poor the food practices are and that food safety is loosely observed. Seeing as I looked through other people's statements about the place within the last year and how poorly this place has been rated in that time an owner should be knowledgeable enough to make necessary changes. If the quality does not increase with the price there is no need to give you my business. Good day to you.
So, in hoping this place got any better since last October, I went back. I went through the dives drive through. The speaker was broken so I pulled up to give my order. The girl walked out took my card and order. I was there for a whole. Ordered the 20 piece family tinder's. I finally got my order and got home to realize they charged me 49.45 for the order. About 20 dollars over. I contacted the store manager to simply inform her of the error. I didn't care enough to fight about it. Then she emails me back telling me that the receipt was not from her store. I have since asked to meet her and I would be happy to point out who it was. We'll see. Now I'm mad she called me a liar.
Waited in line for 45 minutes. We ordered xtra rolls and didn't get any rolls at all. When I called back the girl on the phone laughed and thought the whole thing was funny because I said I wasn't coming back right then to get them. I then talked to the manager (Gina). She was not at all friendly or apologetic. She said she'd replace 2 of the 4 rolls.....Really!!?? After we waited 45 mins for our food. Horrible customer service from people who take absolutely no pride in their job. I will never spend another dime here. I'd rather give my money to businesses that care about and don't disrespect their customers. And after reading the other reviews I'm not the only one with these issues.
This is the worst chicken express I have ever been to, And I have been to a lot. I used to be a manager at a chicken express in my town which is a staple from where I’m from. The fries suck they aren’t the good battered fries and are normally cold or not fresh every time. The chicken is so Inconsistent I never know if it’s going to be good or terrible. Twice I went they didn’t even give me the right portions of cole slaw. I love chicken express and I tried to give them chances but was always let done by something I. The meal. Consistency is everything!!!
Usually the experience is great... Usually best sweet tea in town but today tastes like made with city water and it literally took 32 mins to get food. It took 10 mins before even getting acknowledged at speaker.Young man working the drive register was more worried about eating his chicken strips and drinking his tea while a line of cars 4 in front of me and 4 behind which one pulled out of line and left.. Considering this is a VERY SMALL TOWN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP MONEY LOCAL... VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED
The chicken was ok, the gravy was gritty and sweet!! The worker that took my order was a collage age student who didn’t want to be bothered in taking my order, he was so rude! Hardly spoke up when I asked him what he said because he said it was to fast and so quiet, I will not be going back to chicken express in big spring, if you keep running it they way yall are your days are numbered for sure!
Really wanted some chicken today, and it wasn't this place! That was the worst meal I think I have ever had. Everything was cold, except the rolls and the chicken was not fresh!
Worst chicken IV ever had I don't understand why this location is so terrible.
Last three times I went... i received terrible service, bad food... surprised the place is still open. Three strikes... not going back.
Service sucks, people are rude and the lady that was there with glasses needs to learn customer service. Establishment was filthy.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY HAVE A 3 & 1/2 STAR OVERALL RATING. This was a drive through oorder at CHICKEN EXPRESS IN BIG SPRING, TEXAS, 8/19/25. This should have been the best chicken of the day because it would have been the first chicken fried of that day!. We arrived at 10:45 am.The chicken tastes and eats like it was left over from last night and re-fried this morning. Tough, VERY dry, the crust was so hard that it was very difficult to try to chew without praying that you don't break a tooth. The mashed potatoes were thin and watery, and had no taste. The is not the first time the food and service has been very bad. What little I did eat has made me so sick!! The chicken here used to be so good, but now it sucks. Think twice before you go here.We will drive across town to Gills Fried Chicken from now on.I cannot believe that a business would serve food like this.The boy that took the order could not remember what was told to him. Okra and green beans and rolls were missing from the orders. They act like they don't care anymore. At this rate, if they don't like the job, they won't have to worry about going to work because they won't be open long!!! I didn't know anyone could make fried chicken taste this bad!!
They will make substitutions on your order without telling you. Overpriced. Tenders were tiny. Fries tasted horrible and were soggy. Rolls are flat and stale. Don't eat here.
Chicken is pre cooked so it is setting out to dry out . Rolls were not done . Got corn nuggets they were raw . Husband got fish with hush puppies, they were raw . Did not get my okra and mashed potatoes. So do not recommend …
Went threw drive threw at 930 was told no chicken was available only fries when asked who was the manager working on the shift he said he was name I asked he said Fred when I called on the phone he said he's name was James...horrible workers closings store early and only offering g fries how do I get a hold of district manager
Should I know when I brought the food out in less than 5 minutes no exaggeration at all. Yeah the service was super quick but the food sucked I was expecting when I stuck a spoonful of mashed potatoes in my mouth 🤮
When I went to go pick up my order, they ran out of gallon sweet tea jugs so they gave me four large cups instead, but still made me pay a dollar per cup lol.. so the sweet tea jug is 4 bucks already and I had to pay another 4 bucks for the cups .. how is it my fault that they ran out of sweet tea jugs lol
The food was cold. Customer service sucks. They needed to be trained on how to take care of their customers . Chicken Express needs to send all employees to customers' service training . The corporation needs to rethink who they hire. People like the one's they have at their store lack education. I wouldn't have them in my restaurant representing me. No telling how many people they have been rude to. Instead of making the orders right, they said they wouldn't remake our orders & told us they would refund our money and not return. They even talked bad about my 90 year old grandmother. I am applaud of the experience we encountered today!! Chicken Express has no class, just trashy employees. I don't know how they keep their doors open.
I recently went in and got a 3 piece dark meal. It was fine at first but after I finished one of the pieces, I've noticed a bug or roach larvae on one of the other pieces. I drove back to the place to get a refund a number for a district manager or manager. . just someone to speak to because the employees didnt seem to care at all. They refused to give me a number or contact information of their higher-ups so I had to leave without such. If you're eating here, PLEASE look at what you're eating.
