Experiencia inmejorable. Teníamos reserva y no hubo problemas porq llegásemos un poco tarde. Poco a esperar entre platos. Muy aconsejables de entrantes los tacos y las gyozas. El carpacho de salmón espectacular y los niños quedaron muy contentos con las hamburguesas. Muy recomendable como postre la tabla de quesos. Nos pusieron 8 quesos distintos, de mediana a mayor potencia de sabor. Adur vino a explicarnos su elaboración, procedencia y tipo de queso. Estaban espectaculares, tanto q no pedimos café por llevarnos el retrogusto de los quesos.

La comida estaba muy buena, especialmente relación calidad/precio. Pedimos recomendaciones al chef y la verdad es que además de ser majísimo, nos hizo buenas recomendaciones. De lo que tomamos, destacamos las croquetas que estaban especialmente ricas, junto con el Niguiri. Restaurante muy recomendable!

Fui con mi pareja y mi perro a este restaurante y fue todo un acierto. Hacia frío y nos permitieron estar dentro del local con el perro, incluso le dieron un cuenco de agua. Por otro lado, nosotros pedimos la hamburguesa, patatas tatapas, gyozas y un postre que era de chocolate, todo está riquísimo. Respecto al ambiente era bueno y los camareros super majos.

Comida y trato espectaculares. Ambiente íntimo, familiar y amigable. Muy buen rollo y la comida, de diez. Los camareros tienen un trato genial y cercano. Haritz nos trató genial y nos recomendó sitios por Hondarribia. Un lujazo la experiencia. Repetiremos, sin duda.

Hemos cenado increíblemente bien y el cocinero es majísimo. Yo soy vegana y aquí tienen opciones veganas contundentes. Recomiendo las bolitas, las gyozas y los noodles. El postre vegano de sorbete de mojito también estaba delicioso. Un sitio para volver a repetir seguro.

Un sitio que está genial, la variedad de los platos y su elaboración son increíbles. Está todo buenísimo y el precio es correcto. Hubo cosas que no pudimos comer, porque se les había acabado. Pero repetiremos sin ninguna duda para probar esos platos que no pudimos!

We had the croquetas, grandma’s potatoes, and ribs. Everything was delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lots of tables but it did fill up quickly during the lunch rush. Prices were reasonable. All in all, great value for money and we would recommend this place.

Hello reader, I don't know anyone there, and i am not from this town. This is another good little restaurant. It is very clean, and well run. The food is very good to. We shared the stuffed mussels, which is like a mussel/bread stuffing mix baked on a shell, it is damn good. We shared the Chicken wings, and they were rock solid also. We also shared the ribs dish, which two people can grub on easily. They also great chill music on, a lot of blues and jazz. The waitstaff is also pretty cool and their english is better then my spanish, so it was pretty easy here too. Just be cool and patient and you will be fine, just walk right on in. They have some tables out back in the shade of a ancient stone old ally too. There is jasmine growing around the corner yall. We never made it to the mussels and steak as we ran out of time, but reader, it looked great, so did the octopus. Of course, go with the local white wine. They got good beer too. Good luck y'all.

Good food at good prices. On a hot day this is primarily in the shade outside, can be cool later in the season, so bring a coat if you are dining al fresco. Good size portions, good wines by the glass. There is an interesting dessert wine made from Tempranillo grapes called Nectar de Farruche.

Best restaurant in Basque Country. The food and the service by our now new friend Adur was amazing. We were flabbergasted by the quality of the food and extraordinary flavours combined with warm service. Don’t miss the boletus, mussels, octopus, gyozas and the desserts were to die for. Would go everyday if I could. Sorry I didn’t take more pictures.

We didn't have a reservation and got dinner on a Saturday night. The head chef started the evening with a prank on us before getting us to our table. The food was great - I'd strongly recommend the tacos (Tacos in Basque Country? really? Yes - Really! They were so good!) Also - the focaccia and croquettes were amazing! 10/10 would go again to try the other items on the menu!

We did not have a reservation and showed up at the doorstep a bit early, at 6 o'clock in the evening. They told us they could offer a quick service and we had to leave our table before 9. Accepting that might be the best decision of our holiday. Starting from mixed salad to grilled octopus, every bite of our meal was unforgettable.

We stopped in late one night and had some great snacks with the fried cheese being some of the best fried cheese we have ever had...and we are no strangers to fried cheese. The tacos were also surprisingly good and even had the accompanying sauce even had some real spice/heat to it, and this is saying a lot considering we are from California so eat a lot of tacos. They also offered some excellent craft beers and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We will definitely return the next time we're in Hondaribbia.

I could not recommend this place more. We went to Tatapas Gastroteka last night for the 3rd time and it was even more amazing than before. We did a degustation menu which Adur (the chef) created for us…completely different from the last time we came. It was delicious, creative, unique and the perfect journey of flavours. I don’t know if I could pick a my favourite dish because they were all incredible. Grilled Octopus with mushroom and a fish broth, tuna tartar, pork rib that was slow cooked for 16 hours (yes, 16…and you can tell), red-pepper-anchovy, slow cooked beef, mojito ice cream with passionfruit caramel, there are more, but honestly, go taste for yourself. Also, impressive attention to challenging dietary restrictions. As we moved through the courses, our experience kept getting better and better, with each dish more impressive. All of which were paired with a perfectly fitting wine, recommended by Taliska. This is a true hidden gem: incredible food by a creative & inventive chef, experienced sommelier, and a friendly team. Eating here is my happy place.

I just wish this place was about 5000 miles closer to my home. I would be eating here often. Some places you go back to because they have good food, some places you go back to because even though the food is average, the atmosphere is great. Tatapas has wonderful food and just a tremendous feeling. The fantastic staff, the food, and the decor just make you happy. I envy the locals. You can dine inside, or sit outside in the plaza for day time snacks and beer. I look forward to returning for both.

Yesterday we had the pleasure to eat in this gem! We were greeted by a very helpful lady that later we found to be one of the owners, that set a good table for us and bravely said that all menu is amazing when we asked for recommendations. She was absolutely right, not a single remark about the dishes we ordered (an amazing fusion of basque and world food) and the cold beer from Alhambra. To finish the great experience and how the world make improbable connections: the owner is Brazilian like me and we share the same nickname (Tata). As this place is only 1:15h from our house and close to Hendaye beach, it will become our post-beach restaurant! Tata, voltaremos logo 😎

This restaurant is a gem! The chef/owner is so friendly and helpful to describe the menu items. Once he describes them you can tell they will be delicious and how he has carefully chosen the ingredients and tastes to complement each other. We loved the starters of pork dumplings with soy and tangy seaweed along with the tacos with tender pork and a powerful homemade hot sauce. For main course we had slow cooked pork ribs and octopus. They were both amazing. We had to try dessert so we got creme brulet and the brownie (gluten free and so moist and chocolaty). I definitely recommend this place.

Hemos venido dos veces a comer y la experiencia, en general, ha sido muy buena. La primera vez pedimos las patatas rústicas con salsa de txistorra y queso cheddar, la salsa estaba muy buena, original y diferente a lo habitual. También probamos el pulpo con cremoso de zanahoria y pimentón de La Vera. De sabor estaba bueno, pero es cierto que el pulpo estaba un poco duro. No es un plato que volvería a pedir. Por último, pedimos El Viajante (vacío de ternera a baja temperatura, tomates asados, queso de oveja y rúcula) y, sin duda, fue lo mejor de todo. Un bocata espectacular, muy sabroso y bien equilibrado. La segunda vez optamos por el bocata Trikini (cortes de cerdo, piña asada y queso fundido) y nos encantó. Ese contraste entre dulce y salado está muy bien conseguido. Si vuelvo, seguramente me decantaría antes por uno de sus bocatas, porque realmente merecen la pena.

No tiene la carta más extensa del mundo pero hay un conjunto de platos divertidos y sabrosos. Bocatas originales y raciones generosas. Un buen sitio para picotear algo especial, que se salga de lo común, por un precio razonable y en uno de los entornos más bellos de Gipuzkoa.

Simple place with 3 areas; cafe style as you walk in, outside between buildings, and dining room in separate building. The staff were very flexible and opened the dining room for us. Food was good and plentiful with nice wine. Price wasn't too bad either. Oh yes and this was a Sunday evening.

-1 ⭐️ because 🚬 on the terrace. The Lebanese balls were incredible, the sauce an essential addition. The Indian tacos were also amazing - finally with some spice that really bites. The chicken was perfectly prepared and the taco delicious and moist. The focaccia was beautiful and light. Toasted to perfection and not too oily at all. The beet humus needed a little bit more flavor. But the nachos were the best I’ve eaten since arriving in Europe. The patatas bravas with the burger were really good, but the burger itself was a little bland. It could have done with some pepper or some other herbs to deepen the flavors. The service was excellent and friendly. I really would like to give it 5 ⭐️ but allowing people to smoke around diners degrades the flavors and is incredibly unhealthy.

Very nice place with a lot of tables outside. You can order dishes as a half portion, very convenient option. We liked very much local beer. Cheese croquettes could have more cheese and less cream for my taste. Codfish is in grill menu, and it was incredible tasty, but it was steamed! Really weird. But ginger mayonnaise was really good. Service is nice and friendly.
