Good as always! The guy taking our order was great! Everyone's nice. We ate outside and a rooster and he came to visit! They were polite too.
Is incredible they got the food out quick it tasted great and then I needed to get to the bathroom they were super fast to let me in as well!!
This is my first visit to Sonic Drive-In in Blanco Texas and always check the reviews on any new restaurant. As one might expect, some reviews are quite positive and some not so much. I was on a motorcycle and didn't park in a space with a menu board and unaware where the walkup menu was located, so I pressed an open space order button and an extremely courteous carhop named Anita came to the patio and collected my order. The food was delicious and tipped Anita a much deserved 44%. Hopefully others will appreciate such great service and offer thanks and generous gratuity to our young people earning minimum wages. Ive gotten the grillos pickles tots at a few other sonics but they never put enough on there. I decided to ask for extra at this sonic, and they coated em, they were delicious and ill remember it for the rest of my life. This sonic is awesome and service is amazing. Ly guy<3
This sonic has a drive thru on one side and the normal sonic drive up car stalls on the other side. There is a little extra parking in the back if you want to park and eat at the picnic tables on their front patio. We pulled into the car stall to order. We had to wait about 7 minutes for our food to come out which is a little longer than I was expecting but it came out hot and fresh. The carhop was friendly. I was happy with our experience and would eat here again.
Just left here. Fries and tots not even warm. I find it hard to believe that whoever put these in my bag didn’t know. I don’t have time to send it back so, I’m eating cold food THAT I PAID FOR. No excuse.
We were doing a job in Blanco, TX . MY husband asked me if I wanted Sonic I agree to the order I always get #3 all the way plain burger with cheese and mustard only plus no recipe whoever took my husband order needs to listen more carefully
I understand short staffed but 25 mins to get 1 drink that I ordered ahead, that’s incompetent! Not the first time this has happened to me at this location. Then served with a frown, a sad excuse, and the slush was half melted with a minuscule squirt of cream that I unfortunately paid $0.45 extra for.
I must really like disappointment—my ex-boyfriends are proof of that—but even they can’t compete with this Sonic. If consistency counts for anything, this location is undefeated… just not in a good way. I’ve been here more times than I care to admit, and not once have I received even mediocre service. Every visit is a new level of “how is this possible?” Tonight’s adventure: 28 minutes parked at a stall before anyone even spoke. When they finally did, the excuse was the usual—“we’re slammed and out of things.” When I asked for a refund, the attitude kicked in and I was treated like I was the problem for not understanding their telepathic refund policy. Cold food, long waits, zero communication. This location isn’t fast food—it’s a hostage situation with tater tots.
Well, I hope the owners are happy now that there aren’t even enough employees to keep our Sonic open. What a joke! You are no different than everyone else, driven by money. You know nothing about a small town. It’s very difficult to find employees and keep employees. It’s even more difficult to keep everyone happy. We all absolutely loved Loyce. He knew us by name and personally would stop what he was doing to say hi! He was top notch and very loved. Chloe is the other employee that always was a ray of sunshine. You decide to bring in new people and BAM, they are both gone. I tried to go to Sonic, got the wrong food given to me and my drink was wrong. I’ve NEVER had that happen to me. I immediately knew something was wrong. It didn’t take long to figure it all out. Then the next day Sonic was closed, no workers! Good luck with your complete mess you’ve made. I won’t be going back that’s for sure and I’ll tell everyone I know as well.
Stopped by for a quick breakfast and little did I know it would take over 40 Mins to get my order. (There are two other cars here)
Took over 30 minutes to get a cheeseburger plain and dry and tots. We were 1 of 3 cars there. Finally got food and it was all cold. Watched the “staff” play grab ass while our food just sat there. Can’t say this is just a thing for this restaurant location. Seems like all Sonic’s have gone to crap.
Two visits in a row last week, it took over 20 minutes to get an order with 2 items. The second time, after a 20- minute wait and the chicken wrap still wasn't cooked,I told them to cancel the order. Still got charged. Have had similar problems in the past. Never again at this location. I gave a negative review on their feedback site and asked to be contacted. That's never happened.
I did an order on the app and waited 10 minutes and never got my drinks. They cater only to local people. If you are traveling through, don't bother stopping here. You will NOT get your order.
Our family will never come back to this location. I order just 5 small drinks on the app. When I got to the location I tried to put in the stall number but the app was having issues. I then called the number listed on the stall sign and told them I couldn’t confirm my stall number. I gave them my name and they said they would be right out. They were a little busy so we gave them a little bit of time. Well that little bit of time turned into 15 almost 20 mins. I called them back and they said they didn’t see me checked in so they wasn’t sure. I was upset at this point because I told the lady that I had just called over 15 mins ago. The lady claimed that the person i talked to ran out and she didn’t know where she went. I said are you kidding me? I asked if my drinks were made and she wouldn’t say anything. She just kept rushing me off the phone. She really got irritated when I asked for a refund and she said she would take care but that she needed to get off the phone because they were busy and she needed to make food. I hung up on her at that point. We will never be back. We tried to use them the week before and had an issue. Husband ordered a lemon berry slush. Those usually look a little pink in color with bits of strawberries and a slice of lemon. He slush had none of those. We asked for them to remake it and it still wasn’t right. It was watered down. When we asked about it and mentioned the strawberry bits and lemon they claimed that the guy that usually makes them made the mix ahead of time and that’s The way they always make it and the way it comes when they order the mix. We left. Went to Corpus Christi and went to the sonic on south padre island drive. Their lemon berry slush was the way it should be. Their customer service was fantastic and everyone was so helpful and nice. We went back several times during our stay there. The blanco location needs to learn a thing or 2 from them.
If no stars was an option that’s what I would give it. Ordered some ice cream and hot dogs, but was told ice cream machine was being cleaned After I paid. They were able to refund me for the ice cream but when I got home a majority of the hotdogs appeared to be rotten. Next time save yourself the trouble and go to DQ.
Haven't had a really bad experience here until today. Ordered the ultimate chicken sandwich for my son and the order came out wrong. Lady went back in gave us the correct sandwich, got home and when my son went to bite into it he saw what's pictured below. Doesn't exactly look like any chicken sandwich I would want to eat nor let anyone else. Must have been old and left out, disgusting! If I could give 0 stars I would. I took a couple of minutes to also forward my complaint to corporate and received a call from the local district manager. They apologized and would like to try to make things right. Hopefully they can get this restaurant turned around for the better.
