Opiniones de Bake 'N Brew Cafe Bloomfield
I went to this bakery today to try something different with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! It’s a cute cozy little cafe with fun board games on the side and an intimate set up. The coffee hit the spot and the food was fresh and delicious. The summer toast filled me up and I didn’t feel bloated. The quesadilla wasn’t greasy and overly cheesy, it was just right. What I really enjoyed was the sense of community in this small business. Many friendly faces and warm smiles! We’ll definitely be back!
Tucked away on a charming street corner, Bake N’ Brew Café is the kind of gem that feels like a warm hug on a cold day. From the moment you walk up to the inviting black-and-white striped awning and peek through the cozy windows (with tables that hint at creative charm), you know you’re in for something special. The vibe? Pure comfort meets personality. Inside, you’re greeted by the rich scent of fresh-baked pastries and the friendly hum of conversation. It’s got a nostalgic feel but with just the right dose of local flair—books, art, and thoughtful little touches that make it feel personal. But let’s talk pastries—because wow. Whether you’re eyeing a gooey banana nut muffin, a perfectly golden almond croissant, or something a bit more indulgent like a cinnamon cruffin or chocolate chip loaf, everything looks (and tastes) like it was baked with love. The display case is practically a shrine to flaky, buttery goodness. Whether you’re here for a quiet coffee moment, a friendly chat, or just to escape the buzz of daily life, Bake N’ Brew delivers. It’s more than just a coffee shop—it’s a little haven. Highly recommend stopping by for a brew and a bite—you’ll want to come back.
Great local shop, nice food and good coffee. Very friendly service
Great breakfast at Bake n Brew today! It was busy but the service was still really good. Loved the omelette and toast — the potatoes weren’t my favorite, but everything else hit the spot. I’d definitely go back...
If you love french bread, this is the place, their baguettes are a taste of Paris and Naples.I am a "real Italian " and Bread is life. Also, their soups are exquisite, rich with flavor and spiced exactly right Mike, the owner and chi- chi the chef are very welcoming and pleasant From a genuine foodie
Great value, service, and taste. Bake n' Brew is a place I've passed through and ignored. It's easy to miss this hidden gem. I wouldn't say Bayonne is the place to go for food, but small cozy places like these make you rethink that sentiment. The service was great, the young lady taking our order was courteous, helpful and a pleasure to speak with. She gave us plenty of suggestions and helped us navigate the menu. She was very receptive when changing our order from carry out to dine in which was much appreciated. Overall she was extremely attentive. The omlettes we ordered were were great for the price! 10 bucks for an omelet was perfect for what you get. You won't have a grossly overweight dish, the portions were perfect. The Cuban omelette was a nice variation which complimented well with the ingredients. Food was brought out in a timely fashion and were attended to promptly. The one are where it can be improved would be the iced latte. It won't be the best you've had but it'll do the job. The latte was made just fine I believe what may have been. Lacking were the beans used. Not sure what beans are coming to the party but don't expect to be blown away. Overall this is a hidden gem and a must try. It's a cozy design, although definitely not for groups more than 4 for dining in, but then again its not a restaurant, it's a Café. We will definitely be returning. P.S the quiche looks amazing however their limited to the weekends. Will be returning to try these out.
Love this place! Wish I lived closer. Friendly staff, diverse owners, Wizard of Oz theme, library, board games, fresh baked goods, daily specials, really nice cappuccino & great ice coffee, amazing music, prices are a little steep so great for a treat, desserts & pastries are awesome! Allie and Sarah are the sweetest!
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They allowed us to create our own item using the menu. Ordered an omelet in a croissant toasted with peeper jack cheese with home fries. The food was delicious and the was helped to pick some great pastries. Highly recommend the cheese danish or any of the pastries. They all look amazing. This a perfect brunch place. Nice atmosphere. However very small seating. Not suitable for large groups to dine at larger than 5-6 people. The coffees and smoothies are good as well and they have baked breads such as pecan bread to sourdough and baguettes. They do serve sandwiches as well but their menu says no sandwiches during summer?
Great place. Such reasonable prices and their breakfast foods are delicious. My go to is a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll and it's so freaking good. They are a tad slow with service so just be cautious if you have a time crunch. Very friendly staff. Have been going there since 2020. The place is small so not the best place to dine in if you have more than two people with you.
Nice little cafe in Bayonne, really tight space inside with very few seats. Came here for a latte and got a breakfast sandwich too. So, here’s my thoughts on the place: Pros: •Clean •Lots of menu options •Serve both food and drinks which a lot of cafes in •Bayonne do not do •Outdoor seating •There are board games Cons: •Very limited seating inside •pretty small inside
Provided us a great breakfast on New Years day. The fruit was fresh and plentiful. The coffee really did have a great taste and I enjoyed it very much. The spinach quiche, was great, with the pastry shell on the outside being nice and crispy and not soggy. Unfortunately, the egg and cheese bakes were a bit off. We ordered some without meat, but every single one had meat. This made it hard for my staff, many of which didn't eat meat. They also didn't label anything, so we had to cut each one in half to figure out what was inside. Just a future recommendation to fix it would be to label it, and actually have some without meat. Otherwise, pretty good.
Sad to say this place has declined. Is it under new management or ownership? We have been three times in the past few months and the food hasn't been as fresh, doesn't taste as flavorful. We had one dessert (labeled peach custard but it was something different, they clarified it was something with almond) but it was stale and had no flavor. And four of us tried it and came to the same consensus (it isn't just one humble opinion) and it's sad because the people are nice enough and it's a cute place. They just probably don't have a quick enough turn around to keep things as fresh as they used to be ??? I hope it can be rectified.
I used to frequent this shop decently a few years back. I came here to grab some coffee and a quick breakfast. I ordered a handful of muffins, a blueberry scone, a pistachio croissant, coffee and a quesadilla. First off, making me wait almost 15 minutes to “heat up” my croissant seems excessive. I’ll let it slide. It was busy, the shop was packed and it was the Sunday morning following Ramadan. Second, most of the food was dry. Scone, muffins and croissant were all dry. Horrendously dry at that. It was as if they had been sitting on the counter for days. Third, my pistachio croissant that I paid almost $5 was not a pistachio croissant. It was an almond croissant. I know mistakes happen and people overlook things, but what if I had a food allergy? This business has gone so far downhill in comparison to previous visits over the years. Is this place under new management? New ownership? It really shows with the low quality food and service. Incredibly disappointing. Low quality food, overpriced and not flavorful or life-changing.
