Arboloco

This is my new favorite restaurant on the island. Everything we had had so much flavor & was perfect. The sauces, the textures, the flavors. Then the atmosphere is so cool. It’s like little tree houses with art and furniture made from pieces of the jungle. I’ll get going back this week for sure!

Do not miss this hidden gem! We had a drink and watched surfers and the sunset at La Coralina Beach Club then walked to Arboloco. The restaurant is stunning with handmade tables tucked into the natural flow of the restaurant. They have a fire in the center, cool lighting, a bar, friendly staff and excellent food! We had coconut shrimp appetizer and beet salad to start and shared the seared ahi entree and roasted veggies. Drinks were great as well. Portions were large, the salad had lots of roasted beets and roasted carrots, the sauces were delicious on the shrimp and tuna. My favorite meal and experience in Bocas!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bocas! I’ve been going to here for years and it never gets old. A gorgeous jungle-esque outdoor restaurant with incredible food to match. The atmosphere is lush and serene, and the dishes are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Beautiful setting, delicious food, and a great overall experience.

Stacy and the rest of the staff were absolutely incredible. They accommodated us without a reservation on a holiday weekend with no hesitation. The bartender kept us fueled with incredible drinks and local reccos while we waited for our table. The food was the best we’ve had our whole trip to Panamá. A no-brainer staple and instant recommendation to any of our friends that will visit in the future. Do not think twice, pay Stacy and her adorable restaurant a visit and leave smiling, happy, and full.

The food is absolutely the best we had in Bocas! Truly delicious and the jungle setting is beautiful. Just one word of caution for asthma/lung patients: their fire pit is in the middle of the restaurant and the terrace is completely roofed. Lots of smoke escape through the sides of the oven, rather than going up through the exhaust. It gets trapped under the roofed terrace, and made it impossible for me to breathe, let alone eat. They did offer to move us to a different makeshift table, which was only marginally better unfortenately. Service was friendly, they did the best they could to resolve the situation. Since I'm apparently the only one having this issue, I would recommend lung patients to inquire if a table away from the smoke is possible, or dine elsewhere.

The ideal place to enjoy delicious cuisine in a unique setting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a convivial moment with friends.

This is one of our favorite restaurants on island! The caribbean food is always consistently fresh and full of flavor. My personal best is the coconut fried shrimp and the tofu bowl. Delicious every time! And the atmosphere is so cool and funky, tucked into the jungle with sloths in the trees. Don’t miss out! Go there!

Comida excelente. El postre lemon pie, de lo mejor que hemos probado. El plato de coliflor es un indispensable. El sitio es maravilloso, aunque CUIDADO con los mosquitos. Un lugar de 10! Sin duda lo recomendamos 100%

A restaurant with delicious food, generous portions, and a pleasant atmosphere. It's not located right in the city center but can be reached by scooter or taxi. The menu isn't extensive, but there are plenty of options to choose from. We went for dinner and had an amazing Arboloco Sampler platter, with various seafood, very tasty and generous portion, and a main dish of fish with vegetables. Honestly, it was more than enough for us; we even struggled to finish everything because the portions are large. We enjoyed a cocktail each and soaked in the atmosphere under the moonlight. The staff was friendly. There's also a souvenir shop with traditional products, and since it was closing time, the prices were half off. They brought us a complimentary digestif with the bill. I highly recommend this restaurant, and it's best to make a reservation in advance! Un restaurante con comida deliciosa, porciones generosas y un ambiente agradable. No está ubicado justo en el centro de la ciudad pero se puede llegar en scooter o taxi. El menú no es extenso, pero hay muchas opciones para elegir. Fuimos a cenar y pedimos un increíble plato Arboloco Sampler, con varios mariscos, muy sabroso y con una porción generosa, y un plato principal de pescado con verduras. Sinceramente, fue más que suficiente para nosotros; incluso nos costó terminar todo porque las porciones son grandes. Disfrutamos de un cóctel cada uno y nos sumergimos en la atmósfera bajo la luz de la luna. El personal fue amable. También hay una tienda de souvenirs con productos tradicionales y, como era hora de cierre, ¡los precios estaban a mitad de precio! Nos trajeron un digestivo de cortesía con la cuenta. ¡Recomiendo mucho este restaurante, y es mejor hacer una reserva con anticipación!

Wow! Vaya lugar más especial. El decorado te lleva a otro espacios muy agrabales. Y la comida está por supuesto a la altura del decorado. Sin duda el mejor restaurante en el que hemos estado en Panamá, un sitio donde hay que ir.

El lugar es espectacular, rodeados de naturaleza 💚 la comida deliciosa tomamos una sopa Rondón con langosta y atún ahumado 👀 y unas colitas de langosta con mayo siracha 💖

What an amazing spot in Paunch! The whole experience was fantastic. It was easy to make a reservation via WhatsApp. We were seated in a spot with a beautiful view. Then the most amazing food came out and my husband and I immediately made reservations for the next evening. Service was top notch! Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and even offered to call us a cab because of the rain. We got to meet the owners who are as delightful as their restaurant. Cannot wait to make this an every time dining adventure when we come to visit 😊

Best meal ever! The food was beyond words incredible! We had the shrimp fritters, surf & turf, and maracuya (passion fruit) pie for dessert. Each bite was so full of delicious flavors, and the atmosphere was lovely too. A perfectly charming jungle vibe with great service and a menu that leaves you wanting more. Can’t say enough good things about our experience at Arboloco. Well worth the journey “into the jungle” (beautiful tropical plants surrounding the seating areas). The cozy fire hearth is a nice touch too! If you’re visiting Bocas Del Toro, this restaurant is not to be missed.

comida deliciosa y una vibra muyy tranquila y positiva

Comida buenísima, fresca y muy sabrosa. El servicio excelente, la chica fue muy simpática y atenta. Solo hay que vigilar que el servicio y impuestos no estan incluídos en el precio en la carta y no puedes pagar con tarjeta!

Some restaurants are truly special in that they transport you to a different place and don't break character for the whole time you're there. What Stasea and Clem have created with Arboloco is nothing less than an incredible and captivating place, not unlike a vacation within a vacation for us on a recent trip to Bocas del Toro. First, the beautiful world they've created - Clem is a visionary stone mason and builder - with stone walls, highly polished wood and greenery that is unlike anywhere I've been. You eat at tables scattered around the maze of canopies in this tropical space, no walls to be found. Stasea's warm welcome and no nonsense running of the service sets the tone, and makes you feel like you've boarded a ship that will set sail now that you're on. And then, the food: yum! You'll see people love the coconut shrimp. We did too! But we also enjoyed the vegetarian bowl aka Jungle Tofu Nest enough to get it 2 nights in a row (yes, we returned) and the desserts were delicious. You can even have s'mores in the open pit hearth fire that is like a hub within the restaurant area. The music sets a relaxing vibe and you'll wish you never had to leave. I can't recommend this place enough. Enjoy the experience!
