"Il Pescemagra" is the new restaurant in Bocca di Magra, a charming fishing village located at the mouth of the Magra River in the province of La Spezia. We tried the aperitif option with various seafood appetizers. Then we had an excellent mussels pasta dish. The seafood dishes were tasty and well-prepared. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was new and charming. Highly recommended!

During our visit to Bocca di Magra, we passed in front of this restaurant and attracted by the Lunch Menu. The ambiance is a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. The foods especially Gnocchi was very delicious. We will surely go back to try other menu.

I stumbled upon it by chance while strolling through Bocca di Magra and dropped in out of curiosity. It's a small, very welcoming place, with attention to every detail. On the chef's recommendation, I chose a warm seafood appetizer, followed by a daily-caught fish soup, excellent, accompanied by an excellent local wine, and finished with a dessert. I'll definitely return to this place with friends.

We didn't have a great experience! The service was flawed: we had an aperitif with prosecco (opened a while ago) brought to the table already in glasses, but immediately afterward, the next table was served a freshly opened bottle of prosecco. As for the food, it wasn't bad; the marinated anchovies were very good, but the trofie were a bit salty.
