Opiniones de Jesse's Pizza Borger
This is some of the best pizza I've had. I eat here at least once a week at the lunch buffet, and get carry out a couple times a month.
Second time we have tried the buffalo bone in wings. They are the best anywhere and a great price for how big they are.
This is the best pizza restaurant I have ever been to always my first option when we eat out will come back soon.
Chicken and pickle pizza. TASTES LIKE CHICK-FIL-A! BBQ chicken pizza. Tastes like real BBQ chicken. Not fake meat in BBQ sauce. Bacon Jalapeño pizza. Real bacon and fresh JALAPEÑOS not canned!
I Work hospice and was in Borger, picked up a pizza for my patient. He recommended Jesse’s so Got the El super supremo and was blown away !! I did not realize how bad the “fast food pizza” id been getting really was. This pizza was amazing and the sauce perfection! This place is well worth anyone’s drive from Amarillo just for a pizza!! The best pizza I’ve ever ate !! I’ll be back!
Jesse’s Pizza is the absolute best 🙌 we love all the creative pizza ideas that are unique and delicious!! Closed on Sunday is our favorite go in during buffet hours and give it a try!! My family loves playing eye spy when we do order and wait! The atmosphere has unique decorations of cars and bikes and is family friendly! And the customer service can not be beat!! Make sure you stop by if you are traveling through! Jesse and his team are fantastic!!
My wife and I ordered the Super Supremo last night and it was the best supreme pizza that both of us has ever had! The crust was mouthwatering with very generous toppings. The perfect combination of ingredients too! You can tell this is a high class pizzeria with a down home atmosphere and the kind of friendly service one would expect in Texas. We will definitely be eating here again. My son has a dairy and gluten allergy. They do have gluten free crusts but I'm hoping they will have a dairy free cheese soon. Overall this is the best pizza in the entire panhandle of Texas!
We love the pizza here but this last round the jalapeno popper pizza was sad. It barely had sauce and little cheese. The flavor was very bland. I was hoping for more but left a little disappointed. The rest of our pizzas were great though.
Ah, the eternal quest for a solid slice of pizza on a Friday night. March 14, 2025, at 7:10 PM—picture it: a long week, a craving for greasy, cheesy goodness, and a recommendation from the guys at work. Jesse’s Pizza was the target, the beacon of hope in the vast, barren desert of hunger. But alas, despite Google’s glowing assurance that they were open, the place was shut down tighter than a miser’s wallet. Now, I could’ve gone full rage mode—one star, flaming red fury, a scathing monologue about misleading hours—but let’s be real. I don’t know the story. Maybe there was an emergency. Maybe they ran out of dough. Maybe a tornado carried the pizza oven to Oz. Who knows? So, I pivoted to Roma’s (check out that review if you want to see how that went). As for Jesse’s? I can’t rate what I didn’t try. So, for now, we’re going with a neutral 3 stars across the board. No harm, no foul—just disappointment. If I get another shot before I leave Borger at the end of the month, I’ll update accordingly. Until then, Jesse’s Pizza remains an enigma, a Schrödinger’s slice—both amazing and nonexistent at the same time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ lright, here’s the updated scoop on Jesse’s Pizza. If you read my previous entry, you know I rolled up on March 14th hangry and hopeful—only to find the place shut tighter than Fort Knox, even though Google claimed it was open. Well, Jesse’s Pizza responded to that review like champs and explained they had a power outage. Fair enough. Life happens. I respect a business that takes the time to explain itself and own the hiccup. That already earned ‘em some redemption points. Fast forward—your boy Jesse Martinez made it back. This time, the lights were on, the ovens were hot, and the pizza gods smiled down. The interior? Classic pizza joint vibe. They’ve even got two badass benches made from old truck beds, which is genius. The dining area is decent in size, simple but clean, with tables and chairs spaced for comfort—not crammed in like a sardine can. I ordered a Hawaiian with jalapeños, and let me say: The jalapeños were fresh—like “kick your sinuses open” fresh. The pineapples were thick and juicy—not those weird translucent cubes from a can. The crust? Ehh... not my favorite. It leaned more toward the standard flat kind, and I’m a pan pizza loyalist. I want that crispy edge, that buttery underbelly. That didn’t happen here. Now for the plot twist: The cheesy breadsticks. Mother of mozzarella. That’s where the magic is. Gooey, salty, stretchy, garlic-kissed bliss. I’d come back for those alone. Hell, I will come back for those alone. Staff-wise—big shoutout to the team. Friendly, not robotic, not bitter teenagers silently cursing every customer under their breath. That alone is worth a star in today’s apocalyptic service industry climate. So what’s the verdict? Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it’s solid. It’s dependable. And in the middle of nowhere, that makes it a damn good option. If you’re in Borger, give 'em a shot—and don’t skip the cheese sticks. Final Rating: 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To see the rest of my Borger food crawl and other stops, hit up my profile and follow along. Jesse Travels is on the move
Jesse's Pizza is and has been very consistent. The Pizza is obviously a cut above the rest of chain restaurants and the Supreme I had was great. The Cherry turnover was a surprise treat in that it was a pretty good dessert for a pizza place. I would like to give it a 5 but I'm missing a wow factor to the pies that I can't put my finger on. Next time I'm in the area I'll try again and hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for.
I have ate Jesse's Pizza since day one of them opening , I purchased a pizza last night and brought it home , it was hot but it looked and tasted like it was days old and warmed up over and over again , the meat on it was so hard and the crust was so hard I couldn't even chew it , I was pretty disappointed because there pizza has never tasted like this 😔 so i pretty much threw away $25.00 in the trash
