The room, charming, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort, has some additional features that make it our favorite. For those of us with some mobility issues, it's on the ground floor, but the difference in height allows us to be on the second floor, facing the rear, with a fantastic view of the Alte Langhe, a region that is a gift from God placed in the industrious hands of a deserving man. A dream, at any time of day. And let's not forget the owner's culinary delights, a delight for the eyes and, above all, the palate! Not to mention the wines, recommended by the young but knowledgeable owner. I'll stop, but I could get to tomorrow... I think it's clear: I recommend a stop here. With all my heart!

Excellent porcini mushroom dinner. Both the fried mushrooms and the tagliolini with mushrooms are highly recommended. All washed down with the delicious Dolcetto d'Alba. For hazelnut and amaretti lovers, try the bounet 😉 Professional service and attention to detail. Excellent value. An absolutely must-try culinary experience!

Don't miss this jewel of a restaurant in an out of the way location. Fresh, quality ingredients and expert preparation. Lenin table cloths indoors. Outdoor dining available. A fine dining experience at a moderate price.

Ho mangiato in questo locale con mio marito. Abbiamo scelto il menù da 27 euro comprendente 4 antipasti, 1 primo e il dolce. Devo dire che era tutto molto buono e la location veramente carina. Il personale gentile e il servizio discreto ma presente. Lo consiglio.

Nice place in a central location. Excellent service. Good food with average-quality ingredients. A bit rude when paying. The quality/price ratio is slightly higher than many other places in the area given the quality, type, and quantity of products offered. They take advantage of their central location too much.

We went for lunch; the sunny tables were a blessing. The cheeses and tartare were excellent, and very high quality. The prices are a bit high; each dish costs €18, which seems like a way to prevent people from choosing less expensive options. Overall, a good place; I'd go back.

Locale carino, personale gentile. Menù degustazione con prezzi adeguati, lo stesso non vale per il menù alla carta dove i prezzi dei singoli piatti sono troppo elevati in rapporto a qualità e soprattutto quantità di cibo. Idem per i vini a calice.

The Review is about the restaurant: been yesterday. Absolute disappointment; the dishes for quality are disappointing and equivalent to those you can find in a pizzeria. Exaggerated prices and therefore incomprehensible. No availability to the customer (they did not want to make me a bill with the items of the dishes consumed; I believe it is the only restaurant in the Langhe that refuses a bill with the items of expense when the customer requests it). I leave the photo with the bill. odi everyone can judge for themselves.

Ci si aspetterebbe che servizio e cibo siano all'altezza del prezzo elevato rispetto alle medie della zona, ma così non è. Malgrado il locale non fosse pieno, il servizio è stato poco professionale, con la cameriera affannata che rispondeva in modo secco e scortese. Il cibo abbastanza buono, ma alcuni piatti con porzioni "alla nouvelle cuisine" troppo piccole e affogate in sughi troppo liquidi e troppo abbondanti. Incredibilmente la carne utilizzata per il carpaccio (l'albese) pur essendo fresca era di bassa qualità, cosa imperdonabile nei pressi di Alba. Insomma, una grossa delusione. Anche i dolci così così.

In summary: go for lunch or dinner at Biancospino. The food is of a good standard, aligned with the excellent cuisine of the Langhe and the good wine. But avoid the rooms and prepare for a cold and unfriendly welcome. As for the service, what counts is the experience you have had. We booked a room here for a few nights, enticed by the beauty of the village and the view of the surrounding hills, without being able to see it because it was occupied. However, we were asked for a deposit equal to 50% of the total, telling us that others had ripped them off by canceling the reservation at the last moment, implicitly attributing poor reliability to us. The room turned out to be discreet, but rather dark given the small size of the windows, and above all the room was only redone once, after 2 days and then more, without even apologizing. Yet the price was 130 euros per night: not that low. You have been warned!….

We had drinks in the afternoon. The place is nice and in a great location. But the staff's professionalism really leaves something to be desired: they ask you to pay immediately upon delivery of your order to the table, but they don't bring a receipt. So we specifically asked for one, but they never brought it...! So we waited; they were right there, but the receipt never arrived... Besides being punishable by law, it's a truly incivilized act... What a shame!
