Burger was amazing! Although nothing special about the fries. My husband loved the Fiddlehead draft beer. Forgot our server's name but she was sweet! Absolutely great service.

We went there for brunch, and even though the service was very long because of a mistake with the waitress machine, we were very well taken care of. They offered us 50% discount for the mistake which eas really appreciated, since we waited an hour for our plates. Food was really good, staff was very friendly and the place is charming. We did not book in advance and still manage to find us a place. I recommend!

Brunch was great! I would recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy. The food was delicious. I got the grilled blueberry muffin, the egg sliders, and the breakfast potatoes. Mimosa was good too!

After not wanting to brave the 1 1/2 hour wait at Friendly Toast nearby, I found Brownstone and instantly connected. Easy reservations, pleasant service, and fast food service completed my weekly quest for great runny eggs. The pulled pork was soft and spiced well, and I got a side of Hollandaise which paired perfectly with the saltiness of the pork. Will be back for sure, and bring others with me.

Had a delicious, impromptu, solo brunch with Tori at the bar, great atmosphere. She was welcoming and so sweet! Everything was delicious and exactly what I was hoping for. I haven’t been here in a while (too long) but I definitely plan to be back!!

Brunch and dinner amazing! Always great vibes from the staff and music selection. The staff favorite for dinner is the Nashville hot cauliflower and for brunch the FCCFT or Aglio olio (hangover cure). Right next to back bay station for commuters. Go visit bartenders Emily and Lex!

Food was great and the service was great too. The Bloody Mary has one spice level and that is volcano. They should tell people it will be hot, even if you ask for not spicy, they say “OK” and then give you the hottest Bloody Mary you’ve ever had (and we’ve had them all over the world). Still was good food and service.

Tori made my friend and I AMAZING dirty martinis!! Best we’ve had and Paul was beyond friendly and served us right away. Tori even went out of her way to make my friend blue cheese olives when she asked if they had them… 10000/10!!!

St.Patricks day! We had such a wonderful waiter! Bruce was great! Very attentive. Very helpful as well. The food is fantastic. My friend got corn beef cabbage and I got risotto with shrimp. Out of this world. Drinks Baby Shark! Cheesecake is amazing and apple crisp. This is the place!

Fantastic breakfast, the salmon eggs Benedict were delicious, classic French toast fantastic. The plates are enough for two people to share.

Convenient location right outside of Back Bay Station. Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. Food was excellent, and drinks were perfectly made. Brownstone is definitely one of the best restaurants in Back Bay, so be sure to visit when you are there!

Arrived on a Saturday around 11 with available tables. They have a good brunch drink menu including some boozy coffee. I ordered a pulled pork hash, loved the potatoes.

My wife and I went for brunch on a Saturday morning. You know it's the place to go when other brunch spots near by looked empty as we walked by. This was our first time at Brownstone and it was worth it! Definitely do make a reservation. The corn beef hash plate was delicious!

I passed by and saw $1 oyster sign. Ordered a dozen oyster and was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the cob salad. Will repeat.

People need to start talking about this French toast and fried chicken combo on the brunch menu. Delicious!! Staff was friendly and accommodating for our demanding table of ten. Can’t wait to come back!

Brownstone merges a great restaurant with a fun bar vibe! We went for brunch and everything was so well made and delicious! I got the FCCFT and it was so well flavoured and cooked! The atmosphere was great too! I strongly recommend checking this place out

this was the 2nd time i’ve been to Brownstone and the food was great both times! i was going to give 4 stars because the servers/food runners didn’t bring us stuff we asked for a couple times, which was kind of annoying, but aside from that, the server was really nice and the food was amazing. it’s surprisingly hard to find corned beef hash that doesn’t come in a can in restaurants, so when i find some that’s homemade, i always order it. it was delicious and i’ll definitely be back!

Stopped by Brownstone for dinner and got the Pesto Orecchiette, recommended to me by my wonderful server Mya. Superb service by Mya, great food, and great cocktails. I will definitely be coming by for their brunch.

My last visit was phenomenal. The donut holes were incredible and my frittata was impeccable. I understand the restaurant was busy but our service could have been much better, but this is not holding me from going again, and again.

One of my favorite places to come! Amazing brunch spot with a tasty menu and fun drinks! Cozy for dinner and a perfect date night spot. The staff is so friendly and amazing! Tori and Paul create the best atmosphere for everyone to have fun. Their drinks are amazing, the conversations are genuine, and they truly care about their customers. You won’t regret coming!!

The entire experience was incredible from start to finish. We were a group of 6 for our son's Masters Graduation brunch. Our server Julia was exceptional!! She was attentive, friendly and made us feel like we were her only table. The food was delicious and we appreciated the attention Julia showed to our guest with a gluten allergy. Looking forward to sitting at her table again soon.

The NY Strip was without a doubt, the best NY strip I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked, and the demiglace was absolutely sublime!

Went in last minute brunch with my friends this past weekend on Saturday 3/22. We were sat quickly. Our server Mia J was really nice and had great table manners. As a server myself I found her service awesome. Food was good too. No complaints from anyone in the party.

We had a fabulous time at our rehearsal dinner and after party at Brownstone and have been raving about it ever since. Everyone loved it! The food was absolutely delicious and served and timed to perfection, and we discovered they have the very best clam chowder anywhere! Outstanding service from the chefs, bartenders and service staff made our event a big hit and the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend and meet the new family. Special thanks to our coordinator, Leah, for being so responsive and thorough with the planning along the way. We highly recommend Brownstone to anyone seeking delicious food in a great atmosphere in Boston Back Bay for a special event.

Brownstone never misses! Paul, Tori, and Mia are the kind of people that make you actually look forward to coming in — always smiling, cracking jokes, and keeping the energy up. The roast beef and buffalo chicken sliders are legit some of the best I’ve had at a bar . Patrick is clutch too — super accommodating and always making sure everything’s on point, even when it’s busy. The whole crew just makes the place feel like a spot you want to hang out at, not just grab food and leave.

We were there for a brunch on Saturday. Although the service was very good but the quality of the food was not as good as expected. It has a charming atmosphere and nice staff.

The breakfast plate was very filling and great affordable pricing. The espresso martini was extremely strong and undrinkable. Oysters were amazing. I will be back

This place is cute and elegant. The food choices and prices are well fitting. I like the atmosphere a lot. The waitress and staff are friendly and attentive. My steak was a little undercooked than what I asked for but it was still very delicious.

We walked over here after we were told friendly toast was a two hour wait. We sat immediately here and the quality of food was excellent. They offered gluten free bread for celiac Annie which was a nice surprise. I throughly enjoyed the traditional Eggs Benedict. Kids menu had some great choices was well. Service was good and enjoyed that they offered quite a few unique breakfast/brunch drink options.

We had just arrived for a weekend in Boston and searched for "Saturday brunch" in the area of our hotel (park plaza). I called (10Am) to see if we could get a reservation. We were told that it wouldn't be possible because most reservations would start coming in within the next hour but we could sit at the bar. When we arrived (10:30) the restaurant was virtually empty, and we were seated at a table right away. Extensive brunch options, are tasty and affordable. The food came out in a timely manner with very large portions. Servers were helpful and kind. Large accommodating space, decent pub like decor. Though when we left the restaurant was still not at capacity, the crowd was bustling, many large groups. We liked the food so much we went back again two days later for breakfast before we flew out. I highly recommend.

Walked in for breakfast. I would give 3 stars if it wasnt for the waitress that was super friendly and did her best to accommodate our preference. There was no salad on the menu not even a side salad, she told us they can bring one however we like it which was nice. Other than that we both got the brownstone special plate. Eggs and potatoes were ok but bacon and sausage were incredibly greasy and bacon wasnt crispy, so soft… Coffee was missing taste.. Would only go back there at night for drinks to try but never for brunch/breakfast.

We had early dinner . The bar was nice and quiet . Tuna sushi salad has good portion . pasta was too salty it is better to have a dinner roll to tone down saltiness.

We ordered the avocado toast and Chicken/French toast combo. Food was great. My husband said it was one of the best brunches he had ever had. Ordered two Bloodies that were meh.

Good food! We went on a quiet night so the service was very fast. Wouldn't recommend it for a nice dinner out. We got a few smaller plates and really enjoyed it though.

I really enjoyed my dish for the most part. However, it should be listed as the menu that it is dark meat chicken. I have an aversion to that part of the chicken and could only bear to eat one piece. It was breaded beautifully and tasted delicious though. The French toast part was amazing.

Brunch on New Year’s Day was delicious! I had the Croque Monsieur, which comes on French toast. So good! Bacon was cooked to perfection😋 Our party of 4 all enjoyed the food and service was good. Atmosphere is cozy & great location!

Went on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. The atmosphere was hipster chic. Good music but a little low. The food was average but enough to satisfy. Friendly staff. Prices were within normal breakfast range. Coffee a little pricey. Overall would recommend.

Eggs, homefries, toast, and bacon for $14 is a great deal and the eggs were cooked perfectly.

Brunch was the meal I ate at the Boston. MA location. The location is convenient because a parking lot is next door, and it is close to other shopping or experiences in the area. Our server was great , she was pleasant, patient, and friendly. The food was served hot, and it came as they were described on the menu. The Check-out process was easy because the server has a handheld device to accept your card payment. While the food was fresh, all but the egg sandwich lacked seasoning; so it makes me wonder if this place only has a cook and not a chef cooking/supervising its preparation. Most restaurants regardless of who is serving the customer make it so every server can respond to or follow-up when your assigned server is overwhelmed but at this place although I was waiving my hand to get the hostess attention she ignored me until I got up from my chair to ask for more napkins and my check. Eventually, I got both, but the hostess appeared frustrated that I asked for this help. If I had to eat here again, I would if I had to stay local, but I would go with the egg sandwich because that did have a flavor that my mouth enjoyed.

Ordered the crab cake Benedict. Coming from DE I expected at least some crab, prob not like in DE but some. I couldn't find any in it. It was still good, just lacking the crab meat. The staff is very friendly and the Resturant is clean.

Nice layout, good beers, friendly pours with the wine. Great to stop in if you are waiting for the train. Bar staff very friendly. Nice professional crowd.

VERY loud, and a totally different menu online as compared to the in person menu. When asked about this our waitress responded “I’m sorry that you were bamboozled my queen” and she had already referred to our entire table as “my loves”. Overly familiar language and a very uninspiring menu left a lot to be desired.

Had 11:45 reservation. Had to wait until noon to be seated. Hostess is unfriendly and you couldn't hear her above the loud music. Finally got seated. Waitress was fine, attempted to be friendly but frankly all the wait staff look miserable working here. They also have to scream to be heard over the music. I mean, I get it's a bar too but this is Sunday brunch. Food came right away which was a positive but everything tasted bland. We were salting and salting to try to give it taste. They also had a big screen against the wall facing the dining room that was playing an informercial for bladder problems- with subtitles. So imagine everyone eating and seeing copy and visuals about "bathroom problems" that went on and on. You get the idea. Frankly better places in Boston.

The Brownestone, there's a lot going on with this restaurant where do I began. I chose to visit this establishment for brunch specifically because their website states that brunch ends at 4pm and the menu got my attention and i like checking out restaurants I’ve never been to. I arrive to the Brownstone about 2:30pm, my intention was to try multiple dishes which I do at every restaurant I go to. I was seated at a high table it was a great spot to view the entire restaurant. I ordered  a cup of hot black coffee it was brought to the table Lukewarm and the egg salad sliders ordered were lackluster salty and the mini buns the egg salad was served on got no love from the chef they were very dry almost like they had been sitting out for a while. Even though I was having issues with my order I was checking out the dishes going to other tables and they looked great and from the visuals I ordered a couple of entrees and couldn’t wait to get them to the table.  A few minutes go by and the waiter comes to the table to inform me that the order couldn’t be completed because their brunch time was over and handed me a dinner menu. No stress no problem I ordered soup and their best offering for steak cooked medium. The waiter refills my cup with more lukewarm coffee and while they were doing that I ask the waiter what time was their watch was saying and they responded with 3:07pm, I then mentioned that I came to Brownstone because their website states brunch is served until 4pm. As I’m waiting for my new order I’m checking out the restaurant and I noticed employees coming into work greeting coworkers and then walk pass my table to hang up their coats and immediately start working behind the bar and waiting tables. The transition was so quick I was wondering did they even bother washing their hands, I got my answer just from watching how they worked. When you have your employees comfortable enough to walk the floor eating hand to mouth and constantly massaging their head running their hands through their hair as they serve beverages and food I  know they never washed their hands. My waiter returned to the table now to inform me I can’t get what I ordered because the kitchen and chefs weren’t ready and then handed me another menu for lighter meal choices at that point I ask for my Bill. I left Brownstone very confused questioning if they had a personal ought with me because customer’s were still coming in to eat as I was leaving.  Because of the false advertisement of their time for brunch (since my visit they’ve updated their website) a bad offering of egg salad  sliders and the allowance of their employees to eat on the floor while serving the public and very bad hygiene practices I give Brownstone 1⭐️

We had brunch reservation for 5, December 8, were seated just fine at 11:15 but they are sorely understaffed. After 40 minutes Four meals arrived and one was so late to arrive he could not eat it aside from it being late it was cold. Rock hard cold toast on every plate. No one took a coffee order. I had to get up find a waitperson 2x to ask for water, coffee, and the bill. The party next to us shared similar comments. In total it took over 2 hours.

First time going here. We were just finishing a college tour and wanted breakfast but it was getting late so when we saw brunch We jumped at the opportunity. The original restaurant we were going to go to had an hour wait.. there was a reason! Where to begin… The waitress took our order and explained she would be back with waters in a bit as they had no clean glasses. My husband and I ordered coffee. I also ordered the breakfast burrito without steak - just vegetables. I was charged the same price as if I ordered it with steak! There was an empty ketchup bottle on the table. No napkins or silverware. There was no cream/milk for the coffee. There were no spoons to stir the coffee but I guess without cream what’s there to stir? When our meals arrived a gentleman brought them out and was annoyed when I asked for cream and silverware. In his defense I saw him getting plates for another table and was probably feeling overwhelmed with the lack of service. Anyway, my daughter grabbed ketchup off of a table nearby and we made do. The food left something to be desired. The cider donut holes were the saving grace- yummy! My husbands toast was toasted on one side but was dry without butter- maybe he should’ve requested butter when he placed his order but stupid us assumed the toast would be buttered or it would be on the table. All of the Canadian bacon was grilled on one side only similar to the toast. The home fries were not tasty but that’s a personal preference. Our coffee cups were stained all over and dirty looking. I’ve never written a review about a restaurant before but felt compelled after our $75 brunch which left something to be desired!
