Mayra’s baked goods are all home made and so delish I tried the raspberry loaf!!! YUM. They have breakfast as well which I have yet to try but I will be back. The coffee is simple and way better than any chain. loved my experience. She really does her research on coffee and foods and is stand out different from any of the shops I’ve been to in the area! Come support local businesses and indulge in a hot cup and pastry. 🥰🥰
The exact kind of matcha I’ve been looking for! Not too bitter, not too sweet. Lots of fun syrups to add to it too. Their chai latte is great too. I wish they had fun cold foam options, but I’m sure they’d add it if you asked!
Amazing coffee and matcha and incredibly fresh food! I’m from Chicago where there’s incredible coffee shops but this place has most of them beat!
I love this place!! The bacon egg and cheese was so good, the eggs were so fluffy. I got an iced latte and a strawberry matcha and they were both delicious, and I am definitely a coffee snob. Highly recommend! Also the outdoor patio is so nice
We stopped by for lunch around 1pm on Thursday. I think they close at 2pm but not certain. Open for breakfast and lunch and do catering. Everything looked delicious. We had chilaquiles with spicy chorizo and a sandwich. The pastries in the case looked really good. Owner Mayra Cruz was there with her husband and newborn baby. There are a few tables inside and a patio. It's not fancy but the food and people are 100% real.
I stopped by La Cereza Cafe & Bakery for a coffee and pastry. It was delicious. They've been open for about 5 months now. Manuel the owner was very friendly. Located at 280 E Thousand 0aks Blvd. Near Tarantula Hill brewery.
The bagels are really good, the jalapeño and cheese is my favorite. They have a wide selection of pastries. The coffee is strong too! Don’t be fooled by the sometimes empty shelves on display, they always have something fresh baking in the back. My only knock is that they do take quite a bit long to get out orders… still some growing pains as far as workflow goes.
They were out of the guava pastry which I was definitely craving and offered something else guava and it was perfect. The lunch melt has great flavor and everything just tastes fresh.

This place is the perfect breakfast place. Their hazelnut latte is absolute perfection and I love their jalapeño cheddar bagel with cream cheese. The best cafe ever hands down 🙌✨️
Handcrafted food, fresh pastries, and bold, flavorful beverages made daily. Enjoy locally roasted coffee from light to dark roasts—perfect for a smooth hot cup or a refreshing shaken espresso made just the way you like it. Start your day with freshly made breakfast favorites, featuring a touch of Mexico—from hearty breakfast burritos to classic eggs Benedict. For lunch, our fan-favorite Chicken Avocado Panini brings the flavor with grilled chicken, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, fresh avocado, and smoky chipotle mayo in every bite. Finish it off with our freshly baked pastries, made every day—soft cinnamon rolls, blueberry muffins, and rotating seasonal treats that hit the spot.

We absolutely love this locally run Cafe and Bakery, it's a real gem in our community. The food is always fresh, the coffee is great. Small businesses like this one deserve all the support they can get. So, if you haven't stopped by yet, now's the time. Let's help keep this family-owned Cafe and Bakery thriving with the continual support of new patrons.
We stumbled upon this coffee shop during our vacation and visited twice! We loved the breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the sour dough was divine. Oh and the coffee is also fantastic. The barista was so kind to help us customize our drinks. We enjoyed an Irish cream cold brew with vanilla sweet foam and a brown sugar cinnamon shaken espresso. The coffees were not too sweet and vibrant in flavor. As a tourist, I’m jealous of the locals that get to enjoy this shop. It’s clean, friendly, and absolutely worth a stop.
Super cute place. Smoothie was amazing! Did a little hidden review. Cant upload my video footage but the customer service was not the best. Just seemed uninterested in me as a person. Which of course is okay as i'm sure they are tired and they see millions of customers every day, i just don't understand why you'd want to have a relaxed family owned cafe vibe, If you're not going to have that vibe yourself. It be so unstoppable if the staff at least said hi with a smile
Breakfast bagel and other meal was ~$43 after tip, which felt a bit steep. Quality was good and they claim it’s all made on-site which was a huge plus for me but the price for what I got felt a bit much.

TL;DR: tasty food, no wifi This spot is really cute! The staff are kind and the vibe is relaxed. However, it’s more of a breakfast/lunch restaurant than a cafe, per se. What I mean by that is in addition to coffee, smoothies, and pastries, they have a real food menu…and no wifi. So, maybe a perfect place to grab a bite but not necessarily the spot to get a coffee and get some work done. That’s on me! I saw cafe & bakery and assumed wifi. I had the pumpkin bread and an iced chai. Both were fine. But while I was eating, someone came in from the patio to personally compliment the staff on the burrito and salsa. Moral of the story: If you’re looking for a spot for coffee & wifi, this is not your place. But la Cereza seems to be the perfect place for a tasty breakfast or lunch!
Overall I like this place but there was mold on the syrup. As a restauran This is something they should be checking every single day and is not acceptable. Also the cashier started talking with friends who are eating here and totally forgot about our order and 15 minutes later I asked him where our pre-made dessert is and he ran to the back to go get it

The coffee had a gentle aroma and a balanced taste, though it lacked depth. It was warm and smooth, with bitterness kept low. Overall, a decent cup but not memorable.

I thought I’d give this place a try. Mediocre at best, not worth $40 plus tip for 2 paninis and two hot chocolates. Service was not impressive. When the baristas came to bring out our hot chocolates which were in to go cups after we said we’d be dining in, I had to ask him to please clean our table because it was filthy. I’ve worked in coffee shops before and a welcoming environment and friendly face is a must if you are planning to charge people so much for drinks and food.I walked in to try their tamales 🫔 which they were out of for the day. Overall not impressed( MEH) and will not be returning.Plenty of other GOOD coffee shops around T.O. **wished I’d taken a picture of the dirty table before the barista grabbed the napkin to throw away
I hate to be this person to give a negative review. My coffee was good was but the place is dirty. Maybe they had a busy morning, idk but I was grossed out. It needs a deep clean. There was a table with dirty dishes that no one was in a rush to clean. They just kept passing by it. When you look past the front to the back it was just as messy.

the matcha is excellent. the matcha cup is cute. the matcha is overpriced for not being ceremonial matcha. the service was subpar (she needs backup). the establishment does not match the photos. i didn’t try their food but will still give them another shot, second review to come.
Decided to try this place after reading the reviews. Not sure why people like it. Microwaved eggs not my thing. Very bland tasting Girl taking the order was very friendly and polite. Atmosphere could be a lot better. Iced coffee was decent but that’s about it.
I must say that I'm baffled by the high Google rating. The service was pleasant. Based upon the taste and really unusual consistency, the eggs must have been powdered; if not, then I don't know what was wrong with them, but something was definitely wrong! Microwaved bacon. Below average pastry. Meh environment. A bummer, because I had high hopes based upon the Google reviews.
