Opiniones de The Crown Bowery
Stopped by The Crown the other night and had a great time. The space has a really polished, intimate vibe and the cocktails were seriously good. Huge shoutout to Sarah behind the bar, who was friendly and clearly experienced. She even let me sample a cocktail when I wasn’t too sure about the flavor, which saved me from trying something that wouldn’t have been to my taste. It’s service like that that makes a place memorable. I definitely want to come back for some of the more lively events they host.
Let's talk about how AMAZING the staff is at The Crown... First if all Dan, the main bartender.. he guided my wine choice and hit it out of the park.. attentive and so, so quick, to make sure no one waits.. top notch! Deepak immediately greeted me with rhe warm and welcoming conversation, giving Dan room to move about the bar.. And Frank.. so, so funny! He gave me all of the best recommendations for nightlife after and even wrote descriptive comments about them. I loved this as a single woman traveler.. and the view... my goodness... the view is unmatched from the rooftop.. my new NY home ❤️
Stopped by The Crown last night with a group while out caroling and had a great time. We stayed for about an hour, grabbed pizza and drinks, and really enjoyed hanging out on the rooftop terrace. The space was lively but comfortable, service was friendly, and it was a perfect spot to warm up and relax. Would definitely come back especially for the rooftop.
The Crown offers delicious small plates and cocktails, with great views in one of the most mellow and relaxing settings you'll ever find. They have two outdoor rooftop seating areas and an indoor seating, which are all large and spacious. The employees were very courteous and friendly, and were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu items. They offer a great happy hour deal Tuesdays to Fridays from 4 to 6, with drinks specials and half off select menu items.
Dan, Sarah, Angel, and Amber were absolutely amazing! The rooftop is stunning, with gorgeous views that make the perfect backdrop for a great night out. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful spot with exceptional service.
It's a really nice rooftop bar. Going out through the balcony gives you amazing views of New York City. The drinks were really good. Food was expensive, but it's an NYC bar, that is expected. It's very clean and the service was great. The inside is really beautiful and nicely decorated as well.
Great place to go for a good view of the city. They have two different balconies with fantastic views. The bar area is pretty small but it is cozy and has a great vibe. The drinks were good and moderately priced. The bartender was super friendly and so were the bouncers. The elevator moved super fast. I would go back and you should check it out if you are in the area.
Decent drinks with a great view of uptown. There are actually two decks, the main one facing uptown and another over past the restroom that faces downtown. Nice atmosphere. Was not crowded on a Sunday night. Tried the pumpkin spice espresso martini and the Singapore sling. Not out of this world drinks but better than most places. Then menu has a good variety though.
Went for the first time on Friday around 5 pm. Was surprised it was relatively quiet but I did see many people sitting outside. Was not about to do that in this heat. Had a pre dinner drink and snack, both good (cucumber and chicken wings). Good and friendly service as well. Great view from the inside wherever you sat. Saw a dj come around 6 pm as we were leaving so decided to come back in the evening and definitely more crowded with a relaxing vibe. The night time view was great and could sit outside since the weather cooled. We sat in the more private patio area for awhile towards the back which was nice to be able to talk and relax. Then moved to the bigger area where the music was louder and more of a fun atmosphere. I loved everything here except my one disappointment was the drink options were limited. Like only 4 beers and 2 of them were Corona. Then 2 cocktails on the menu that I preferred were out of stock. Like how are they going to not have the liquor supply for 2 popular drinks. Anyhow other than that I will definitely be returning!
This review is for the rooftop. The good is the views are spectacular with multiple terraces. The bar area is appropriate for the venue. The bad is that service is hit or miss with prices that are on the higher side. In fact, pricing is not appropriate for the bowery.
Came to The Crown excited about the Santa Bar Crawl, and unfortunately had the experience ruined by one of the bartenders, who was noted on the receipt as Dan. After ordering 5 Sex on the Beaches (with the total being $156.78, meaning $31.35 per plastic cup drink), he then charged us for 6 drinks (pic attached), and then proceeded to become aggravated at us for not tipping him. I understand the importance of tipping, but even after charging us for the extra drink and not refunding despite us confronting him about it immediately, he still was yelling at us for not tipping (who would after that experience?) and then proceeded to charge expensively when someone else in our party asked for just plain water. Given that the bar was unfortunately quite empty and the fact we already paid tickets for the bar crawl event, it was a shame that this occurred when we were bringing them business. We did not purchase anything else for the rest of the night. Otherwise, the rooftop was quite nice but all of our moods were ruined and we were quite disappointed in the establishment allowing such rude service.
