I really loved the 3-course prime rib special they have for weekends. Besides the food being amazing, our server Savannah G. was exceptional! Our orders were brought out at such a timely manner and she made sure I get my points for rewards when we got our check. She took good care of us as well as the 3 other tables around us, I can tell that all 4 groups were satisfied with her attentiveness.

I'm a big fan of BJ's in general, but did you know the Brea location was where the "Brewhouse" started? Found that out at the last Beer Dinner and enjoyed the unique expertise the Brewstaff/Brewmasters had to share. Definitely a special experience. And though the restaurant was very crowded for a Monday night, the hostess' and bartenders were super attentive and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better night!

Had dinner here last night to celebrate a graduation, party of 6. The food was tasty as always. The service was phenomenal, Carrie was our server out on the patio and she was amazing. Her customer service was greatly appreciated, my son has trouble speaking with new people and she was so patient while communicating with him/taking his order. Carrie was personable and attentive. I plan to dine here again soon, it was such a pleasant experience.

This was my first time visiting the Brea location, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our server, Carrie, was absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we sat down. She took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Carrie truly made my first visit memorable with her positive attitude and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back thanks to her! Highly recommend asking for Carrie if you stop by!🙆🏻‍♀️💕

Matt from Takeout -- a bright light in the (intentionally) dimly lit corner of BJs. Let's just say he gave great suggestions for dessert. We had never tried the monkey bread and it was a great choice. He also suggested an Oreo pizookie. To make this review more concise, let's just say he had a positive disposition and was overall very friendly. I think we will drive out to this location in the future even though we're closer to another BJs.

Our server Carrie's wonderful attention and kind heartedness during our 3-person patio dining lunch today was incredible and special. Carrie is an experienced professional server. She made sure we were very well-served despite her also having a party-of-20 for which she was responsible. Carrie's service was a pleasant surprise at a busy and noisy place like BJ's!! Beyond Carrie, the jambalaya, wings, and ahi tuna salad we ordered exceeded our expectations. A wonderful lunch, especially thanks to Carrie.

I stopped in late, and just before closing time. The staff was still very friendly and polite to seat me at a nice table booth. Bruno was my waiter and he was very good humored and friendly, as well as attentive. Service was great and quick with all the staff members waiting on my table as well as Bruno. And did I mention that the food was delicious and prepared fresh!?! Reasonable price for great tasting and good portions of food. I will be going back there soon!

BJ’s offers a wide selection of great foods. You can get something simple like burgers or something more like steak. The service here was good they were very attentive. The place was pretty clean and nice. I’d definitely recommend you come eat here when you get a chance.

I want to start this off by saying my friends and I are black. On Saturday, November 22, I walked into this Restaurant with my friends And waited to be seated. The hostess proceeded to hand a note to the server of our table, That told her to put is in the back of the restaurant outside, which was so surprising to the waitress that she was shocked and said “You want me to sit them outside ?”. While we were walking towards the back, I proceeded to see three consecutive booth seats that were in the front that were available and clean for the next customer, but when we got Outside, the booth that we were seated at was bigger than the ones that were inside. I understand that this is Orange County, But we should be treated as everyone else, placing the only black individuals in the restaurant outside when there were a multitude of seats that were available inside that would’ve been able to fit three people and to chuckle when I make a face about it is truly unacceptable. I wish I could give this place a 0

I ordered the Thursday special, tri tip along with two signature sides. The tri tip was quite literally as tough as a leather boot. The sides I ordered were the mashed potatoes and the roasted vegetables. The mashed potatoes were 100% instant mashed potatoes. They had they grainy consistency and basically no flavor. That is not an exaggeration. The vegetables were basically raw and cool to the touch. Raw broccoli, cauliflower and mushrooms. Again, not an exaggeration. My father ordered the soup and salad. The salad was very good apparently but the soup was also basically cold and when we informed the waitress, she told us that it’s “normal” and “just how it comes” which is insane. The pizookies and pizza were good. I also reached out to the customer service email just to inform them of these issues and they didn’t even apologize which I find extremely unprofessional for a business of this scale. I received a response from the senior manager named Katie Hallman who basically just said “next time inform the manager while you’re there”. This was my first time coming here in maybe 6 or 7 years but i definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

We had an absolutely terrible experience at BJ's in Brea Mall. Our server, Audrey A., was by far the worst server we've ever had. She only came to our table three times: once to take our order, once to bring the food, and once to collect the check. Beyond that, we asked for basic things--ketchup, utensils, ranch-and we never received any of it. We also never got a check-in to see if we needed anything. After we paid, we still didn't get our change. We spoke to the manager, Casey, and let her know how awful the service was. We explained that we repeatedly asked for items and never got them, and that Audrey was inattentive from start to finish. Casey didn't even offer a real solution--just a weak excuse, and no apology. This was easily the worst service we've ever had anywhere--completely inattentive and indifferent. We will never return, and I strongly urge others to stay away. Also PSA I understand teens not tipping waiters is a thing for a lot of kids but not all people are the same but regardless of the fact I believe everyone shoulo get the same treatment because you never know. I think our server saw us said oh great another table that's not going to tip. Which was not true at all we were all planning on leaving a tip, but her service didn't align with that. Really disappointing...

Customer service sucks. Didn’t even help talking to the Manager. The hostess was young, and not friendly. They skimp on the food. The tortilla soup was over spicey. Made us wait 20 minutes or more when there was plenty of tables available. Server took very long to complete me and take our order. Then food took forever to get.

I went last night to watch the FB game. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to this chain restaurant. Now I remember why! Appetizer came out burnt, I returned it. My drink was blah even though I paid extra for “better liquor” then my main entree was horrible. Hard dry tortillas on tacos and the lime was like it was sitting under the sun for 10 years. Chips were salty and had oil taste with undercooked bean soup. I will not be returning. After calling for the manager my food was comped but the whole experience was awful. This place is just good for the dessert but nothing else.

Test Test

Ordered takeout from BJ’s Brea. Receipt clearly shows two full racks of ribs, each including fries, but both fries were missing when I got home. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times right away and no one answered, so there was no way to fix a clear mistake. The manager later offered a $10 gift card, which doesn’t even cover the value of what was missing — BJ’s charges $5.99 for a single side of fries, and I was missing two. Disappointing to-go accuracy and poor customer service. This should have been handled much better.
