No line at 1pm Tuesday, was able to get my potsticker freshly pan-fried less than 10mins. Exactly the same hometown taste to my memory. The lady took my order (assuming manager) offered to order me the combo #1 and replace the drink with soup with $1 extra, saving me money, I love it. The only thing is the utensils & napkins weren’t included unless you ask which almost failed me when I was about the enjoy it in car, but I’m still happy for my potstickers.
We bought frozen dumpling here. The kimchi 50 pack and pork 50 pack. really easy to cook at home. just boil an pot of water and throw in dumpling, cook until the dumpling start to float on water surface. ready to eat! the tastes was great. Exact same flavor as from Taiwan.
I am so happy we have this restaurant in Brea. It is located in the food court. Food is great and the service is fast enough. Please come and try.
Glad to see Bafang opening in Brea mall. Taste good.

The Signature Beef Noodle Soup exceeded my expectations. The meat was soft, tasty and plentiful. The broth was very flavorful. Better than most places I’ve tried with the same offering.
May favorite chain dumpling place! (Family owned one? Mama Lu) I'm glad we don't have to go to City of Industry anymore! Great potstickers! Great spicy beef noodle soup! The best deep fried pork chop!
I read the reviews. The cooks were wearing gloves. The food was pretty good. I really liked the chicken and corn pot stickers. The corn chowder was different. I liked it but to me it was a cross between egg drop soup and chowder. I will definitely go back.
Bafang is a well known chain in Taiwan. Finally we have a food court option with decent Chinese food. Beef noodle soup, fried pork chop with dry noodles, fried dumplings, hot and sour soup. Everything is consistently authentic and good.

This place is located in the Brea Mall food court and pretty good for the price. I ordered the beef noodle soup and spicy wontons. My husband got the signature noodles and pan fried dumplings. I would come back and eat again if I was at the mall but not something I'd go out of my way for as there are lots of places like this not too far away. The soup was flavorful, had a good amount of meat, and I enjoyed the addition of the turnips. The noodles were not special. Wontons were really good and I would order that again.
Corn Chicken dumplings is a must try! contains chicken meat, corn and cabbage and scallions, Great for special dietary

My mom and I ordered the restaurant was the Bafang Signature Noodle and the Bafang Signature Dumplings which both were okay but the noodle dish had a Dan Dan flavor that I wasn't a fan of. The noodle texture was strange too. As for the dumplings they needed more juice and smaller sized cut cabbage because it was too big so which made it take a while to chew it into small pieces. So overall this place is okay but not the best Taiwanese food I ever had.

We waited for 30 minutes after ordering for our food. Eventually, I went to check on our order only to find it sitting on the counter. Dumplings were ok. A little soggy… probably from sitting in their own steam in a paper box on the counter for half an hour. Ambiance is the mall food court. I kinda don’t get why there’s such a long line for this place… service aside, the food wasn’t that good.
Forget about the signature noodle In no way worth the price Rude person taking orders and can’t understand when the card machine is not working well.

The service really needs some improvements. The cashier missed two items I ordered. When I want to order later, they refused to order more because they are closed at 6pm. However, when I left around 6:20pm, I saw someone just ordered from them and getting the receipt. The food is good since it probably comes from the central kitchen anyway.

Really disappointed. I ordered dine-in, not takeout, and the packaging they gave me makes absolutely no sense for eating this dish. The bowl is way too shallow and the size is completely wrong—everything is stuck to the sides, and the soup comes in a separate huge container. There’s no practical way to eat it like this. Because the packaging was so unusable, I asked if they had the original larger bowl. But even after asking, this is still what I got… If I hadn’t spoken up myself, I honestly wouldn’t even know how to eat it. Changing packaging is fine, but at least make sure it works. The whole experience was really disappointing.
Ridiculous Portion and Poor Customer Service at Bafang Dumpling (Brea Mall) We ordered two Pork Chop with Braised Pork Rice bowls at Bafang Dumpling in Brea Mall. One bowl came with three decent pieces of pork chop, while the other had only two small, thin pieces. To make matters worse, one of the bowls was even missing the Chinese sauerkraut that normally comes with the dish. (See photo — this was taken before we touched or ate anything.) I asked the man with glasses at the counter (possibly the manager?) if the smaller portion was a mistake. To my surprise, he said the company had just changed the portion size, and that the bowl with two tiny pieces was now the correct serving — while the one with three pieces had received an “extra by accident.” I was shocked and asked again to confirm. He said yes, two pieces is now the standard. I even pointed out the difference by directly comparing the two bowls side-by-side — showing him that one clearly had a more generous portion than the other. Despite the obvious comparison, he still insisted that the bowl with two small pieces was correct, and the other one was just a “bonus.” I then pointed at the menu photo, which clearly shows a more generous serving, and highlighted how inconsistent the food was — he simply responded, “I’m sorry. That’s just how it is.” Honestly, the idea that two small pieces of pork chop counts as a full meal is ridiculous. It feels misleading and disrespectful to paying customers. Not only was the food underwhelming, but the dismissive attitude and lack of care or accountability from the staff made it even worse. No apology. No offer to make it right. No concern. Just “that’s how it is.” If it weren’t for how absurdly small the two-piece pork chop portion was, and the missing side item, I wouldn’t even bother wasting my time writing this review. But this level of service and quality deserves to be called out. Management seriously needs to improve — both in portion control and basic customer service training. We won’t be returning. There are too many better options out there to waste time and money here.

Had ordered fried chicken with dumplings, asked how long it may take, they told me about 7-8mins. After 15mins wait they told me they sold out the chicken…… and I need to wait another 6-7min for my dumplings…… only 3 orders on going. Not as good as other stores………
Everything on the Menu was MID 🤣 No seasoning on those Potstickers as well as the Porkchop. Very Disapointed. Even the Damn Noodles was Bland. Dont ever waste ur money here id rather go to Mcdonalds 😭
The manager was so rude and unprofessional. I would never come back again. I had a question about my order and she started yelling at me in front of everybody. Everyone was looking at us. It was so embarrassing!!! Definitely don’t recommend anyone coming dumplings were frozen.
Super slow! Waited in line for 10 minutes. After ordering, waited for another 25 minutes to get the food. I come here for fast food, not the long wait!
someone stole my order and they literally take forever to make the order

They don't wear gloves and grab dumpling with their bare hands to cook them.... um ew... hands in the pockets.. taking dirty wash rag to wash off the counter omg omg omg 😱 unappetizing at best ... not a reflection on the food but damnit I can't eat it'll it now. In this day and age use a glove and don't touch peoples food with your bare hands or at least not in front of the customer. Gross 🤮
