Manera's Brick

We had a birthday party at Manera's and everything was fantastic! The staff was really easy to work with to coordinate everything - they even allowed us to bring things in the night before which we really appreciated so that it's not too stressful day of. Staff is very kind, we never felt like we were a bother - they answered all our questions and were very accommodating with room layout and decor. The day-of, the waiters were very helpful, pleasant, always a smile when interacting with us or guests, were very helpful in getting anything we needed and always made sure we were ready for any transitions or needed extra time (is it ok to take food? Is it ok to cut cake? etc) The food was delicious! The place itself was beautiful! (the holiday decor around this time of year made it even better! We matched our theme to it) We and our guests were all impressed and will definitely be back for more occasions!

Myself and my 2 friends come here often, (almost every Sunday). As far as we are concerned, this establishment is the standard by which all other eateries should be judged. The food is ALWAYS superb, that is it's fresh, skillfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The servers and the entire staff, are always on their toes and chosen for the skill and personality required to maintain such high standards in dining. Bottom line: If you went to Manera's and were not happy, you must have been eating in some other place, and NOT Manera's. After scanning some of the negative comments, I noted that Manny responds to each incident individually, and does everything possible to make things right. Who does that ???? They bend over backwards to insure a great dining experience, and believe me, Manny and company take your satisfaction and experience very seriously. 3 Michelin Stars for a wonderful NJ establishment !!!!

I chose this restaurant for my send off party and I'm really glad I came across this restaurant and suggested to my manager. Nobody from our group has ever tried this restaurant but thanks to the reviews that I saw which convinced me to have our celebration here. Our waitress Katie was great. She gave great suggestions & answered our questions. For appetizer, we started with the Chorizo Stuffed Mushrooms, Crab Meat & avocado cocktail & Calamares. Everything we ordered were great but I highly recommend the Crab Meat & Avocado cocktail. For our Main Entrees, We ordered stuffed Veal which was awesome. RibEye which was not part of the menu but was a special. We ordered a few desserts but my favorite was the Peanut butter cheesecake. This restaurant is a must try. Definitely coming back here.

Great food, hospitality was fantastic. Very tasty food. Different takes on classic dishes, but very good. Ambiance needed a little louder music to carry the vibe. Overall, it is very enjoyable. The only thing that may bother some is the walls are a little scratched up, where it looks as though they had taller tables that would rub the wall and took some paint off. For me it was fine, but some would not take lightly to it. 1 black stripe down this wall and it would look great.

Went for a dinner with friends.... everything was delicious! Our waitress, Katie, was very attentive and friendly and the bussers made sure to take our dishes away promptly. The lemon chicken is very different but stole the show as the best dish. The meal was finished off with 2 large portions of cheesecake that were so delicious that no crumb was left behind!

The atmosphere doesn't really match the food at all and seems really out of place, BUT the quality of this food and taste is ABSOLUTELY out of this world. Pricey but it's worth every penny. Second time here and highly recommend the most tender and flavorful pork chop you'll ever have; the veal just freaking wow. Fish tacos and the bisque soup will be my go to as well. Can't wait to try everything on their menu!

We came in to eat for the first time today for a family celebration. I made reservations base on the reviews. We were completely amazed. We arrived an hour early and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious! Val our server provided outstanding service. All her food suggestions were perfect. Every dish came out on time and looked stunning and tasted fantastic. We will be back again very soon.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to us! 💚💚 The English Pea soup with fresh mint was delicious! Our meal was spot on! The presentation was pleasing to the eye and appetizing! The pork chop dinner was cooked to perfection and we both enjoyed the chocolate cake for dessert. The food, Andrew, and his staff are amazing! Five shamrocks for this restaurant!🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 Kathy & Greg

07/12/2023: First time visit: dinner for 2. Started with the Spicy Shrimp appe - excellent. Then, a house salad and Caesar Salad - VERY good. Entree's were Fired Scallops and Sesame Tuna - outstanding! For sure, I will be back!

Happy New Year. We came here for New Year’s Eve. The decor is modern and clean. The servers, including ours, were all very professional and friendly. Our meals were excellent and the portions were good. Overall experience was great and we look forward to coming back.

An amazing place for dinner! Recently had a celebration there atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented! Staff was attentive and friendly!

On our first visit we had the scallops & the eggplant parmigiana that we throughly enjoyed. We returned for my daughters birthday celebration. I had the crab cakes which were filled with lump crab meat, my husband said the pork chop was the best he ever had. Mahi Tuna was another hit. All six of our dinners were delicious. Manny the chef/owner made time to visit our table to let him know how much we enjoyed our meals.

Thanksgiving dinner. Second time we have had Thanksgiving dinner here. Outstanding service and food! Sirloin steak, rack of lamb, traditional Thanksgiving dinner, seafood and linguine and Tarfuto. All extremely good! And their regular.menu is amazing also!

We had two different experiences at Manera’s. One was for lunch on a weekday. The food was excellent and a great value. Two at my table ordered the lemon chicken dish and a third ordered a seafood pasta, everything was outstanding. The complimentary bread they bring to the table was soft and warm with a crisp skin. The house salad is a unique blend of spring mix with some kind of nuts (Brazil?) and a light oil dressing. The lemon chicken is Flavorful chicken breast meat with a zing of lemon served atop mashed potatoes. It also had broccolini with cheese. Really strong dish. There was also a coffee and dessert served with the meal. Cheesecake which was rich and delicious. At around $18 I thought it was a very fair price, and an incredible value for the caliber of food served. The seafood dish I was told was excellent and fresh. I do know it had a wheat pasta. I didn’t get to try it however. Our waiter was a young gentleman who was good at what he did. Polite, warm, and attentive. So all of that being said our first experience there was not nearly as good. Granted it was Xmas eve and incredibly busy… We actually had the same waiter as well!! That night we waited almost 2 hours to get our entree served. This was with reservations of course!! (Waited about 15 mins in lobby area.. and the rest at the table.. albeit with same great bread - 4 rounds. The staff all looked young that night and the place was slammed. However we weren’t the only table to not get served quickly. That night we had a calamari app which was excellent. It was roughly 20 mins in which was not bad. The salads and soups (house salads / tomato soup) we’re about 45 mins in. However the steak entrees and seafood / chicken dishes we ordered took a lot, lot, longer to come out. We had to actually ask if it made sense to pay for the app and find somewhere else to dine. I really think the BYOB may affect service we saw one guy bring in like 4-5 bottles of wine.. Anyways this is a lesson in giving second chances.. despite our first experience I still stand by the 5 star review. Hopefully they will continue to improve and we just had a one off night

Manera's is a little gem of a restaurant in Brick, NJ. in the old Famous Dave's location in the Carrabbas strip mall , 950 Cedar Bridge Ave. The food is excellent, beautifully presented and sumptuous. Big bonus very reasonably priced. A dozen oysters 🦪 on the half shell only $17. Baby rack of lamb, veal dishes, pork chop and standards like chicken parm etc. Please support this local business. Compared to some of the restaurants we ve eaten in recently their prices are between 1/3-1/2 of what we paid. They are very much trying to keep their prices reasonable while maintaining excellent quality and customer service! Please give them a try! ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️

What a wonderful new place! Byob!! (You can buy their bottles of wine) Food is outrageously good!! All fresh! Every dish made to order!! I had the manera's shrimp!! Perfect! Two of our party had the specials.. one chicken one fish!! Both wanted to lick their plates clean!! Hope they maintain and keep these standards!! My new go to place!! Thank you Fred (our very magnificent server) for a really great birthday night!!!

The food was very delicious, we were a group of 6 and we all enjoyed our meals. They even made a dish gluten free for me (the scallops). The scallops were juicy and cooked really well, the chipotle chicken pasta was also delicious. We can’t wait to try their other location which is closer but so glad we were able to try it last night. In addition, They mark their menu to show what can be made gluten free / is GF. The service was also very good too!

I would like to take the time to tell everyone how AMAZING my baby shower was today at Maneras! The service was exceptional, everyone is friendly and just there to help you with anything you need. The food is AMAZING! Everyone at my shower could not stop telling me how great the party was and the day just went very smoothly and I had the most amazing experience. Thank you thank you 10/10

Had dinner last night at Manara's and had the most amazing house chicken special. I can't stop thinking about it! Service was also top-notch. Highly recommend!

I had such a wonderful experience at Maneras thanks to my host, Laura. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out and made me feel right at home. Thank you, Laura, for making my visit so enjoyable—I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’m an out of towner coming to the beach a couple of days. My BF and I wanted a nice sit down Saturday dinner and found this place on Google. We had a 7:30 reservation and were seated immediately. The star of the show was our waiter Lloyd. He was absolutely incredible, attentive, and very hospitable. We had calamari, bread and salad in the course of our entree coming. I had food on the table the entire time that I hadn’t realized our entrees had taken a while to come. The manager apologized and offered us a dessert on the house (which showed us how much they cared). When our food came it was delicious and we had a great dinner. If you’re looking for a great dinner with great service come to Manera’s. You won’t be disappointed!

Not just another Italian restaurant. Large but homey. Menu has something for everyone and thoughtful dishes to the season making ordering fun. Attentive service and priced fairly.

My daughter’s baby shower was a hit!! Everyone was talking about how pleased they felt with our party.This restaurant caters to your every whim …we were delighted with every single detail. they covered it all!! We felt like VIP as if we were family !! Our guests raved about the food & room decor presentation. Grace our server was professional , friendly & informative. Eric & Anthony were key to everything running smoothly!! We definitely plan to hold future gatherings here. We are very grateful for Manera’s Brick NJ

had my SIL’s baby shower here a few weeks ago. the staff, including the managers, waitresses and busboys went above and beyond in service and so so friendly! food was great, they let us in early to get set up and the entire shower went smoothly thanks to the waitresses highly recommend having any sort of shower/party here.

Bill and I went to dinner here with some friends. The food was spectacular the restaurant was beautiful. It had a big fireplace making it extra special. But the food OUTSTANDING appetizers, big salad came with dinner and entrees superb! He had scallops and I had lobster shrimp on risotto. WOW everything was so well seasoned. The service was truly the best! They also have lunch served early bird specials too. So if you're looking for somewhere new and a great dinning experience this is it. We will definitely be back!

We had my daughter’s jack and Jill baby shower here on January 3. They did such an amazing job. The room with the fireplace is so pretty. They were so accommodating and nice. The food was outstanding. Everyone had the best time! Each and every staff member was there for us to assist us and our guest. We were able to set up nice and early so the room looked stunning when my daughter and guests arrived. I want to thank everyone on the Manera team for truly making this a memorable beautiful day for our family!!!

Thank you for an excellent fried shrimp dinner tonight. Everything was delicious from the shrimp to the veggies and the salad.... Love your house salad. I had the baked potato and my friend ordered the mashed sweet potatoes she couldn't get over how delicious they were! We had an excellent waiter named Will and was glad to see Anthony back. We celebrated our girls' 16th birthday, with family, last night and I couldn't have asked for anything more! There was a party prior to ours and the staff turned the room over quickly so we could set up in plenty of time, before our guests arrived. From the service to the food, we were extremely happy with our choice to celebrate at Maneras! Not our first party with them and certainly won't be our last! Thank you so much!

Last weekend at the last minute, we decided upon an impromptu dinner party for a family member visiting from out of town. We were a party of 18 and had some specific requests, ie. food allergies, children’s menu, semi-private space. The manager could not have been any more accommodating. The food, menu selections and service were excellent! Several members of our party had never visited Manera’s before, and I’m sure they’ll return now!

Picked up our Thanksgiving catering order this past Thursday and I had to say it was one of, if not the best, Thanksgiving meals we have had in a long time. We have tried a bunch of places (catering and eat-in) and this was top notch. Will be ordering again next year - please don’t change anything!!

The appetizers were great especially the crab cake and crab and avocado cocktail! The entrees were pretty good as well I got the Manera’d shrimp and rack of lamb. I’d definitely recommend the appetizers.

We ate at Manera's in Brick for the first time tonight. It is a nice, clean, contemporary layout in the dining room. A little loud, it could use some work in this area. We were seated quickly and greeted by a friendly server, Matt. It is a BYOB establishment, so plan ahead. We skipped appetizers and went straight to dinner. Warm bread was brought to the table, and both our entrees were accompanied by a salad or soup. Nice! We both felt like seafood, I ordered the Seafood Medley, and my wife ordered the Mediterranean Cod. Salads ordered with Italian dressing. Salads and dinners were both excellent, with large portions that were nicely presented. Neither of us finished the entire dish, and we have leftovers for tomorrow. For dessert, we ordered the "Dark Side of the Moon" chocolate cake with coffees. It did not disappoint. Overall, it was a nice dining experience, and we will go back.

Mother's Day dinner very delicious only giving 4 stars cause the wait was a little long but we were a pretty big party so it's how it goes. The calamari was a little too rubbery for my taste but everything else was good I order the lamb rack which was pretty yummy. The bread was warm as grandpa used to say warm bread is the sign of a good restaurant jajajaja thanks guys see you next time also this place used to be famous Dave's barbecue and i think that's funny

My wife had the old fashion burger and I had the seafood medley. Both were good. Service was excellent. Our drinks were always full and the server was always available when we needed something.

Food was great. Extremely noisy, they should put some material on the walls to dampen the sound. Our server was outstanding,but they seem to be seriously under staffed.

Pretty decor, nice staff. Too loud! I could barely hear my husband. We ended up texting each other throughout meal. We ordered the grilled veg mozzarella app, the roasted peppers were undercooked and mozzarella was standard. Waiting 10+ minutes from when we finished app until we got salads. We both ordered pasta dishes, which also took awhile to bring out.salmon was a bit undercooked for my taste.

The twin lobster tails and lobster tail add ons we ordered last night were saturated with garlic. No fresh seafood taste emerged. The entrees took a long time to arrive and we were hungry, or we would have sent them back. I ate one tail and couldn’t eat the other. A shame for a $56 entree. Manera’s is usually much better than this! We heard from the manager, Anthony, who apologized for our experience and gave us a gift card for our next visit. I’ve worked in restaurants myself and know that mistakes can happen. But a manager who goes out of his way to fix problems will always have us as customers! Change my review to five stars!

Was kinda underwhelmed to be honest. We went for Valentines Day & it didn't seem like they put effort into the holiday, usually restaurants do a little extra for such a romantic dinner night. Our server was nice & did come over to apologize for the meals taking so long to come out. There was a long gap between our salad/soup til dinner. To he honest the soup & salad was the best part. We had the shrimp bisque & an arugula pear salad. Delicious. We couldn't wait for the dinners but they were very flavorless & lacked any seasoning. I will say they were plated beautifully but just very blah for flavor. My fiance didn't like the chocolate sauce that was on the steak. & my scallops were just very bland with a small amount of flavorless sauce & even more bland rice. Not sure if we will be back sadly.
