Opiniones de ABC Kitchen Broadway
ABC Kitchen is for sure an experience - the service was excellent and the ambiance is gorgeous. The food is extremely creative and well thought through - it almost feels like fine dining but more attainable and better tasting (and less weird). The presentation of the dishes was top notch and the flavor profiles were playful and layered. Standout dishes were the chicken entree (see pics) and also the desserts (particularly the apple pavlova with pistachio ice cream). Overall a lovely, indulgent meal that was worth the splurge.
From the first moment that I stepped into the restaurant, I felt like I had left Brooklyn. The attention to detail is exquisite, there is always something beautiful to look at. The service was impeccable, the team ensuring plates were cleared , water glasses were filled and checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. I love a family style restaurant with shared plates and the food exceeded all of my expectations. You must order the sautéed hopper shrimp, the warm leeks (never knew I could love a leak so much), both types of empanadas (you will thank me later) and the campo grande iberico pork chop (best I have ever had). You can't go wrong with any of the desserts but the caramel popcorn sundae and warm chocolate cake are the perfect way to end the meal. I will definitely be back soon. 10/10, no notes.
Where Farm-Fresh American Cuisine Meets NYC Sophistication By acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, abc kitchen is a standout in NYC’s dining scene. The warm wood interiors, crisp white accents, and industrial details create a stylish yet inviting atmosphere. The menu focuses on seasonal, organic ingredients sourced from local farms, shaping a modern American cuisine with bright acidity, thoughtful spice, and subtle Asian influences. During Restaurant Week, it’s an ideal time to enjoy the restaurant’s signature dishes and soak in the atmosphere without the usual splurge!
Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The ambiance can't be beat. Great drink and food menu. Everything is on the pricier side but it's very farm to table and fresh. Tried the crab toast after reading all the positive reviews and it was solid.
had dinner here twice and both times left the restaurant absolutely satisfied. tried a a bunch of different dishes and everything is delicious. flavors and textures just be hitting all the taste buds in the right place. mushroom egg pizza is quite special, tartare is fresh and delightful. service is impeccable. presentation gorgeous.
The truffle pizza was really good, the crab toast was ok. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice for a date or a night out with friends. I would go back.
Outstanding. The crab toast is spectacular, the tuna sashimi bright with citrus and wasabi punch, the wagyu steak frites checked all the right boxes. Surprise win- delicious Japanese rice lager.
Had great dinner there. Sat outside due to COVID and if you do that make sure you sit in the covered deck and not in the other tables cause it's just too cold. The food was great, very rich with a lot of flavors but not too intense. We had the creamy yams which were really good. Also had the ramen which was a little disappointing cause it had wayyy too much oil floating there. The pistachio Cream Brulee was also a great choice. The staff was very friendly and professional and we had a good experience.
Such an extraordinary place to have dinner. Everything was just spot on. Servers are professional food is superb. We went there for a birthday dinner and I loved it. We ordered pretzel dusted calamari(AMAZING), housemade stracciatella( this one is the only one I didn’t like at all. It was super salty for me), roast carrot and achacado salad again amazing, as main course I order salmon that was one of the best salmon I have ever had. And my friend ordered fried organic chicken(a little spicy but so nice), as a dessert we ordered pistachio cream brûlée(OMG SO GOOD). Overall it was such a great night for us. I highly recommend.
What a beautiful dining experience! From the soft candlelight illuminating whitewashed walls to the exposed reclaimed wood beams to the handmade ceramic dishes, everything about our meal was perfect. Excellent service and a wide variety of farm to table type offerings. The carrot salad and strawberry ricotta appetizers were a nice start to the meal, along with warm crusty bread and a glass of cool crisp rose. The ricotta ravioli was very nice. As was the goat cheese kale pizza. Salmon was another entree choice, and they also offer a burger. For dessert, we couldn't pick just one so we tried the berry crisp with ice cream (warm, crunchy, served in a small cast iron skillet) the chocolate cake (totally decadent) and the panna cotta (impossibly smooth and creamy). From start to finish, everything about the meal was on point. I really enjoyed my evening out with friends at ABC Kitchen.
Kinda dark inside. Food is great. Portions are perfect if you're just getting your own dish. Not really sharable portions. Overall 10/10. Pictured: Black Truffle Pizza, sausage pasta, ravioli, steak, roasted carrot and avocado salad, calamari, cookies and ice cream, molten lava cake.
This was a very special meal. The restaurant earns high marks on food quality. I was also impressed with the food texture often mixing crunchy with tender. The ambiance was alluring with hundreds of candles glowing which takes you away from the city hustle. The salads and appetizers also delivered and ABC had some of the better wine by the glass I have had in a restaurant. Our server was alittle arrogant, but the other staff were pleasant. Service was efficient.
Such a cool dining space with great food and atmosphere. We came in with a large group and shared a number of small plates, all of which were delicious. We tried the crab toast, roasted butternut squash, beets, truffle pizza and Cacio e Pepe pizza. The space is really cool with lots of exposed wood, unique light fixtures and decor. For dinner I had the pasta with caramelized Brussels Sprouts and pistachio pesto, lots of nice flavor.
NYC is a food paradise. There are so many restaurant options. Part of the problem with that is that is impossible to visit them all. I had bookmarked ABC kitchen, which is owned by Jean-Georges, maybe 7 years ago and only just visited this past week. And wow, what an experience. The restaurant is huge—much larger than it looks from the outside. And the atmosphere—lovely and quaint. For such a fancy restaurants, the portions were quite large. Two appetizers, two entrees, and one dessert were enough to stuff us. The star of the meal for me was the peekytoe crab toast appetizer. It was very fresh and well balanced with a lemon aioli. Other dishes were: Roast Carrot and Avocado Salad: Many of the items have rotated since the restaurant first opened. This salad has been on the menu since the restaurant's inception. The carrots were perfectly roasted, with their sugars rendered. Steamed Black Sea Bass: This entree was super fresh, with a delicate and not overpowering citrus broth. Within this broth, there was a spinach confit and sweet potatoes. The flavours of all these melded together. Fried Organic Chicken: A deliciously juicy piece of chicken with a crispy exterior. What more can you ask for? It was also topped with rainbow swiss chard and a habanero hot sauce butter. This was my least favourite of the four dishes, but it was still great. Finally, for dessert, we had the pistachio creme brulee. It was not one of the desserts our waiter recommended, but I am a sucker for a good creme brulee. And of course, it was fantastic!
Went here to celebrate our daughter’s university graduation wth family and absolutely loved it! From the vibrant atmosphere, server with solid recommendations, friendly hosts up front and now the food…everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavour. Appetizers- crab toast, sour cream & onion pull apart bread, calamari, and beet & roasted carrot salad (the table’s favourite). Pasta - pistachio pesto campanelle, rock shrimp with buckwheat cavetelli. Between the two, would have the campanelle again. Mains - Fried organic chicken with a side of mashed potatoes (chef’s kiss) and the sea bass - delicate and light (but if you’re hungry, go with a heavier protein). Dessert / chocolate cake, strawberry rhubarb tart with lavender ice cream and the carrot cake. The fave was the tart and ice cream. The server also suggested a crisp wine and it was perfect with our meal. Highly recommend and can’t wait to try its sister restaurant ABC Cocina.
Great spot for a very healthy brunch! Stopped by here to meet a friend at the bar (restaurant had an hour wait). My friend got the match latte and I got the Green Glow juice and blueberry bowl. Blueberry bowl had so many different fruits including dragon fruit along with peanut butter. Hit the spot while also being a healthy option. Service was good and they let us linger at the bar without rushing us out, appreciated!
Been here quite a few times. Always fresh, creative and delicious, up to JGV typical high standards. The truffle pizza with farm egg is so good that we ordered a second one. Not cheap but you get a high quality meal. We were there on a busy Thursday evening and my only complaint is that service was rather slow. Very professional though. Just too slow. I think they could use another bartender too.
I’m really not one to leave reviews but this dining experience was the best I’ve had in a long time. Everything about the experience was yes. Simply yes. The interior was so charming, sophisticated and chic. Quality servers that explained everything. Super fast service. Table setting had real flowers! Plates, cups, bowls were stunning, I’d want a set in my own home! Everything was immaculate. Enjoyed the entire experience, even the crowd. Food was out of this world with rapid service and quality eats. Butternut squash soup, chrysanthemum salad, fluke tartar all hits. Mushroom pizza was delightful, so delicate. And the chai crème brûlèe is what dreams are made of. If you drink, try the abc kitchen Manhattan and close off with a glass of sambuca. I order mine with ice water and dilute it a little bit but it’s completely up to your taste. I simply find adding an ice cube enhances the flavor. I am officially a Jean George cultist. Looking forward to returning soon.
We ate brunch on a Saturday afternoon with no reservation. The hostess made it seem like we may not get a reservation, despite us seeing multiple open tables that would seat two. The food was fresh, flavorful and presented beautifully. We would have loved to have dessert if we were not stuffed from our lemon poppy seed doughnuts, squash & ricotta pizza & lobster roll
Sunday brunch. Light one, gustatory satisfying but not necessarily heavy. More like a tasting course of gooey spicy ham and cheese fritters, charred maitake mushroom paired with goat cheese and fresno vinaigrette, crispy calamari with amarillo dip and green salsa, summer corn empanada in lime cream fraiche dip and topped with orange blossom conchas-more like an airy brioche with a sweetish, faint hint of orange and raspberry preserve. Fritters was crunchy and tasty but not gooey. Calamari was nicely battered and fried to crunch on the outside but tender inside. Green salsa was missing in action but replaced with pickled red onions. Instead of the usual savory meaty empanada, summer corn was sweet and complimented by limey dip.Surprised by the mushroom nd goat cheese combo which was umami pleasing.0
I walked in with some friends randomly on a early friday night in 3 weeks ago. The atmosphere and ambiance felt warm and inviting. The food was good. I would not say great. However , the super power of ABC Kitchen is their staff. From the hist station to the waiter. As far as service goes, we had an all star experience from our server Madison. Just in case there is more than one Madison ( she is a Florida Native), I think she might go by Maddie. Not sure. Wow, her patience, attention to detail, politeness, willingness to engage and all out amazing spirit made us feel like we were valued regulars. This is despite never having set foot in this establishment. I have since referred friends from in and out of town if they are looking for greatplace to eat and unwind. I specifically have them always ask for Madison's section. We will return.
Really fantastic ambience, food, and overall experience. Every visit here feels like a treat. Overall their food is great, and there are a few dishes, like the crab toast, that are absolutely sublime. The only constructive feedback I have is for service - last time we were here, it was not during a busy time; there were many empty tables, and we were there until 9pm. Yet service staff kept trying to remove our plates before we were done eating, and it felt like they were trying to rush us. We politely declined this and took our time, and ordered more wine.
Excellent dining experience. Nice relaxed atmosphere coupled with delicious culinary creations and the most amazing desserts! My sisters and I had a wonderful luncheon. The staff is very attentive and always smiling. I still dream about the vegan corn ice cream! Will definitely be back!
abc kitchen is a beautiful restaurant with great food. Service is good, not great. But the food makes up for it, and a little pricey for portions. Drinks were very good. Leave room for dessert, as the caramel popcorn sundae was 🤤. The crab toast and beets were my favorites. My friend has the lobster and said it was great.
1st time here and it was wonderful! We had reservations, which I recommend. We were seated immediately. Our servers were great. Nice options on the menu. We had the tartare for an appetizer and it was good! I ordered the salmon and brussel sprouts and it was delicious. The salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly. They asked how I wanted it cooked and I ordered medium! Brussel sprouts were delicious! Our waters never got empty as there was someone always filling them up. Great service. I do recommend and I would definitely come back!
Delectable, elegant and charming dining experience. Every bite of the crab toast almost brought me to tears. So fresh, and the lemon & dill elevated the crab flavor to new umami heights. Easily the best tuna tartar I’ve ever had - unreal flavor especially with the yuzu & the freshest, lightest sesame oil I’ve ever tasted. Mashed potatoes banged, perfectly buttered and salted. The campanelle was tasty, good noodle & the ricotta salata and fresh basil made it a light, flavorful pasta. Passionfruit aperol spritz was good, nothing to write home about. Might have preferred an OG tbh
I have been to their other locations, but so far the experience is consistently good. Food quality matches that of the price point. The service is professional. The servers explain the menu and the items therein. The ambience is authentic and conducive for dates or group dinners.
The food is outstanding! The goat cheese and fig starter was awesome. Ordered the pork confit, the meat itself was very tender and moist. The bacon and accompanying sauce put a lot of flavor into the dish. Definitely want to go back and try a few more things on the menu. Only complaint is that it took a while to get our drinks initially but the timing and service for the rest of the meal was great!
What a unique space and location part of the ABC store the ABC Kitchen is just as good visibly as your tast buds explode with all the flavors. We came in on a recommendation. Tables set to perfection, meals just as lovely. we went with the Cardamom Duthch Pankakes, and my wife went with the backed eggs. One was so savory and one just right with syrup sweetness. The presentation was wonderful! No dessert as we were stuffed! Next door, all part of the same organization was a vegan, and one was Mexican and all accessible thru the center to the ABC Home Store. Carly, the manager, stopped by for a quick hello, which I thanked here for stopping by.
An ingredient-forward menu that’s simple yet delicious! 1) Yellowfin Tuna Tartare - Minced tuna doused in a bright and flavorful (prominent sesame/yuzu profile) dressing with creamy avocado slices to balance everything out. Loved the flavors, but it was lacking something to pair it with. Would’ve loved something crispy on the side for scooping. 2) Oven Roasted Prawns - My favorite appetizer! Plump and perfectly roasted prawns with a bright, buttery, and spicy sauce that’s so addicting. They leave the head on but remove the rest of the shell so all the prawn head flavors drip and mix into the sauce making it an absolute umami bomb. My only complaint is that it’s criminal to serve this without toasted sourdough! 3) Campanelle - Super fresh and straightforward pesto with added texture from the roasted brussel sprouts, pistachio, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. May be on the saltier side for others but it was perfect for me! 4) Steamed Black Sea Bass - They ran out of sea bass right when we ordered so they substituted our dish with red snapper instead. Everything about this dish was simple yet perfect in the best way possible. Fish was meaty, succulent, and juicy, the broth had a mildly sweet and tangy flavor that reminded me of a toned down Tom Yum, and the roasted caraflex cabbage was perfectly charred with an almost meaty texture and sweet aftertaste. Everything went along so well, but the chili oil and crunchy seeds really did its job and tied everything together!
Nice and fast service. The food is fresh and tasty, sometimes one flavor overpowers the other. Several vegetarian dishes to choose from. Portion sizes are good by European standards, except for the desserts, which are very large and are good for sharing. A reservation is almost necessary, otherwise you won't get a place. Value for money is good. To recommend.
Husband took me here for my birthday a few days ago... The dining area design is so lovely! The food was amazing! Everything had great flavor and felt so fresh. The sea bass was perfectly crispy on the outside with exactly the right buttery softness inside. Oh and the tuna- I can have it for every meal! Great experience.
One of my favorite places for ambience, farm to table. Add the inventive dishes constantly changing menu, and I keep coming back for a new experience. This time, however, I made the mistake of reserving a table on open table instead of Resy, I did not know that Resy will allow you to choose a section, such as the difference between the patio, dining room, and high tops that are in the bar. So my first seating was at the high tops which is definitely not the ambient environment I was hoping for. Fortunately we were early, and the hostess was nice enough to rearrange and seat us in the dining room area. Ultimately, the artichoke was a star of the show. Also, the peach pastry pie which was a single serving pie, with wonderful ice cream.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food - the decor is really really beautiful and creative. The lunch prix fixe is really good - we had the fish and the beets appetizer, the salmon and the mushroom burger entrees and the almond cake and salted caramel gelato. Each dish was well portioned and delicious. The service is slightly slow and it takes a while to get a server’s attention. But all in all, a really good spot!
Had a nice time here on a busy Thursday night. Cost was about $100 per person for a pretty high quality dinner. All sauces were professionally done, and the menu seemed pretty thought out, although felt more like fusion than "new American". Good vibe, excellent drink menu and great service the whole night. We ordered one starter (tuna crudo), which was very good and was bathed in a nice chili oil. I really enjoyed the kale salad, which had some kind of seeds for texture, and was a little spicy. The roast carrot and avocado salad was a bit dense and we didn't finish that one. The pizzas is where they shine. Irregular shaped, light and clearly homemade whole wheat dough and some really cool toppings. We got the tomato basil and the black truffle with egg and were impressed! For mains we got the ricotta ravioli which was fantastic, and the salmon, which was excellent - bathed in some chili garlic sauce bath. All of the dessert was great, highly recommend the salted caramel popcorn ice cream. Do not recommend the pamello flavor (we eat pamellos all the time but this was way too sour and did not work). Full disclosure, we did not try any of the meat dishes. Theoretically we should have been eating at ABC-V, but ABC still had enough good options for us!
Great food and service in a lovely space. The straciatella with shaved truffle was delicate and delicious. The savory stuffed squash with pomegranate was delicious. The seasonal donuts were very tasty. The espresso and coffee were excellent. The outstanding service was friendly, prompt and helpful. The spacious dining room was bright and cheerful.
We really enjoyed our meal at ABC Kitchen. Wonderful fresh food with bright flavors. Nice decorations. Decent (though maybe a bit slow) service. Pizza was unexpected tasty. Duck and Sea Bass were both big hits. Yellowfin Tuna “to share” was much too small to share but fun to eat. Order a few.
Food felt a bit off last visit at one of my old reliable favorites. Seabass a bit over cooked, burger wasn't the rare I ordered, and apple pie was a bit flat. Still rest was delicious, menu continues to feel modern and elegant as I'd expect from this outpost of the JG empire. Service and decor were on point.
This was an excellent spot to bring out of town visitors for brunch! The space itself is very modern and has a great ambiance. Their menu is diverse and the servers were happy to make adjustments where needed. Several of ordered the eggs Benedict, which we all agreed was solid. We also enjoyed the roasted potatoes and the fresh juices on the menu. The only con to this place is that it’s not particularly well priced. We spent almost $500 on brunch for 4. As New Yorkers, we understand restaurant prices vary, but it did seem a little excessive for brunch of all meals. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and still look forward to returning in the future!
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. A huge thank you to Chef Ja for creating such an incredible meal. Every bite was thoughtful and absolutely delicious. Our server Nick was attentive, warm, and made us feel completely taken care of. Osa was also wonderful when dropping off desserts. A special shoutout to the amazing management team who made it extra memorable: Ivan, Chris, Karla, and Emma. And of course a big thank you to Abby for making this all possible! This team truly cares about hospitality. Can’t wait to come back! 💫
Went for dinner and ordered from the restaurant week menu. Carrot ginger soup was delicious, and the main course I ordered was chicken with some red sauce - it was delicious and the portion was a good size. I would have given it a 5 stars but both my and my friend’s dishes were not 100% warm when they were brought out.
We enjoyed a fabulous meal with impeccable service from Aizat! I highly recommend reserving a table for this remarkable farm to table NYC establishment...be sure to try the Truffle pizza! We loved the salmon and various salads as well! The apple pie was a delicious finish! I am posting the menu we enjoyed but I believe the creative and delicious options do change.
My family recently had a very special lunch at abc kitchen, with people coming from Seattle, Baltimore, Richmond VA, and NYC. The restaurant is beautifully styled, with cozy, welcoming tables that give privacy and space. The food was superb, with lovely presentation, and unfussy, balanced flavors. Each dish shone in its own right, and of special note were: the roasted market beets, kale salad, mushroom pizza, roasted lobster, black sea bass, warm apple pie, caramel popcorn sundae, and cookie plate. However, the service made our experience exceptional. Aizat and her team were knowledgeable, unobtrusive, caring, and came at just the right moments. I never felt hovered-over, or rushed. This was important, as my family so rarely sees each other. The service was simultaneously casual and impeccable, a perfect balance. In another life, I had been a fine dining server for 10 years, and I know how delicate the dance is between being “too present” and being available and seamless. Aizat and her team were the latter. Kudos, and thank you for a truly memorable afternoon. We all treasure the memory.
Have had lots of things here and you can never go wrong. They are known for their fried chicken. I recently had their spicy pizza and chocolate cake and both were amazing. The food is really good and the ambience is great, food prices are in line with the quality of food that you expect at this price point and it's worth it.
Alaina was the sweetest, her service was top tier. She was so personal and really wanted to check in and make sure we enjoyed all our dishes. We got the crab toast, beet salad, fried chicken and mushroom pizza. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We ended the meal with a blueberry pie and lavender ice cream which was a perfect end to the meal. Would highly recommend and will be back again.
Finally got to try one of Jean-Georges’ NYC restaurants and came to abc kitchen for Restaurant Week. Such a beautiful space with intimate lighting and a warm vibe, and the service was great from start to finish. Started with the tomato toast, which was simple but so good—crispy toast topped with ripe, flavorful tomato slices and just the right amount of seasoning. For my main, I had skate for the first time at a restaurant and it was wonderful. Tender and delicate, served over a vibrant mix of tomatoes, eggplant, and green olives that really brought it all together. Finished with the cherry pie, which was a nice finish. All in all, a very enjoyable meal. I’ll be back
From start to finish dinner was incredible! The crab toast was delicious with hints of dill and the toast was crispy. The dirty martini hit the spot and the vodka lemonade was very refreshing. The calamari had a yummy spicy sauce and the carrot and avacado salad was really nicely flavored. The kale caesar had a hint of mint and a bit of a kick which was surprising in a great way. Loved the fried chicken because the sauce had a kick to it as well. The pizza was devoured in seconds 🤪. And the salmon was yummy with yet again a lovely kick to it. The carrot cake and the chocolate cake were good and the sundae was truly divine, beautifully balanced. Finally the sorbet was so freshly flavorful and fruity. What a wonderful dinner from start to finish. Would recommend again and again.
We are from out of town and we're looking for a place to each lunch - nothing too casual or too fancy. This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend that lives close by so we decided to try it. Beautiful restaurant, simple, clean decor. Plenty of options on the menu to please anyone. Pizza was delicious and artichoke was to die for!!! Highly recommend eating here!
I started with a cocktail the lychee bellini. It was nice and fruity. Then I started of with the calamari the two sauces that were with the calamari was delicious and the calamari was nice and crispy, not greasy as well which is a plus. Overall definitely recommend. Then I ordered the truffle pizza, oh my gosh let me just say this is one of the best pizzas that I had in NYC. The thin pizza crust taste so good and crispy. The truffle paired with the egg was amazing the flavors were so well executed and the chesse topped it all off. Definitely recommend. Last but not least the dessert. One of the waiters recommended the carrot cake so I was like ok let me go for it. This definitely is a great carrot cake I'm not even trying to say is your average carrot cake because is not. This carrot cake is so soft and it just melts in your mouth the icing was amazingly paired with the cake. Overall great cake definitely try it you won't be at all disappointed. The two waiters were really nice and friendly. The staff overall were all great. Thank you and definitely will be coming back.

We came here for Restaurant Week dinner. Overall, the food was good, but the salmon and burger entrées were both a bit too salty for our taste. The sashimi appetizer was unique and interesting, though slightly underwhelming given our expectations from a Jean-Georges restaurant. The highlight of the meal was the chocolate cake — rich, well-balanced, and delicious.
We arrived just after 5 for restaurant week and found the place fairly empty, but it quickly became crowded and noisy. It was a bit difficult to hear the person across from me The appetizers were nice and light. The shrimp and pasta were not spicy as noted, just salty. The skate was filling, but also salty. The mini pie was crisp
Love the food at ABC kitchen and the set menu is really very value for money, $45 for a full set of starter, main and a hearty dessert! Highly recommended. When to the store after that but felt that I seen it before and didn’t feel like I would wanna shop there. Something shd be done to refresh the store to be more relevant and meaningful for the current consumers and shoppers
Very good restaurant in the middle of Manhattan. The atmosphere is very good and the staff is very forthcoming and welcoming. For the Europeans: be aware that drinks and especially wines come at a cost... We had two nice appetizers with squashed pumpkin and crab. They were both very good. We then ordered the chicken as a recommendation of the waitrer. The chicken arrived within the minute after we finished the appetizer. Way to soon for our liking. Unfortunately we did not like the chicken. The tempura crust was too fat to our taste. We mentioned that to the waitrer and promptly these were taken off our bill. Very good service, honestly I do think that this is how your treat customers. Why not five stars then? Because I think the restaurant is just a bit too rushed. The couple next the us finished with the appetizer and the main course within 70 minutes. For a special venue like this I would like to feel a bit more relaxed and less time pressured.
ABC Kitchen is a popular brunch spot with delicious food and beautiful decor. The Roast Carrot and Avocado Salad is my absolute favorite, although I haven’t had a dish I didn’t like here. This time, my friend and I shared: - Roast Carrot and Avocado Salad ($25+) - Black Truffle Pizza ($30+) I’m not a fan of truffle, but the Black Truffle Pizza with fontina cheese and farm egg was so good. My only disappointment was the Organic Young Thai Coconut Water ($10+), which came in a glass, not coconut. It was good, but I wouldn’t order it again. It also took a while to get our bill, but we weren’t in a rush and had a nice brunch experience overall. Hope to be back again soon!
The food was great and service was prompt but the music was so loud that it was hard to have a pleasant social time with your party. We came here for a birthday and really enjoyed all the food that we got. Reservations are not hard to find and it didn’t seem like there was a long wait either, since seating was fairly abundant. All of the food was great, especially the prawns and the fried chicken with jalapeño butter. Service was also great though sometimes the food came a little slower than expected. My partner and I have been together for many years and so we didn’t need to talk much during the meal but you definitely had to yell across your small table to make conversation. For that, I would recommend this place just for the food.
I enjoyed my lunch here. The food was well presented and unique. Who doesn't love having blueberry yuzu sorbet on fancy china? I really liked the truffle pizza with the cracked egg. Although we had to send it back because it was likely accidentally over salted. The egg is supposed to be runny and when pizza number two came it the yolk was completely dried up. In any case, it still tasted good. I also liked the crab toast. It was rich in flavor yet light and decadent. The waitress was very accommodating and felt bad.
Amazing spot for a night out with friends. Good food for sharing (small portions though), so make sure you order 1.5 dishes per person. The Truffle Pizza is a must, along with the crab cakes. Big place, plenty of space for big parties and nice cocktails !! Definitely coming back.
The atmosphere is ok in here though we were seated at a table that made it so we had to shot at eachother because we were so far away. The table was a huge wooden rustic styled round table. Beautiful! But too big to properly socialize. Food was pretty good. I would expect it to be at these prices, though it was a bit on the rustic end of quality. Service was quite nice. They offer fresh cracked black pepper and salt.
Fun brunch at ABC Kitchen. Unfortunately they do not have much for gluten free. More like incomplete dishes, for example can do hamburger but no bun, etc. my eggs benefit was perfectly done! The chicken paillard was undercooked and not pounded thin. Just plain grilled undercooked chicken. Waiter promptly removed the charge.
Went for a Bilt Rewards special—an unbeatable deal at $60 for the full menu, plus $30 for two drinks. Food Appetizers – The roasted carrot and avocado salad was fantastic—bursting with flavor and a pleasant surprise for something I’d never normally order. Absolutely worth getting again. The pizza was fine, nothing memorable. Entrées – The fried organic chicken came in a generous portion with a bit of a spicy kick, but it wasn’t my favorite. The campanelle, on the other hand, was delicious—unexpectedly addictive and full of flavor. Desserts – The blueberry pie was just okay (I’m not much of a pie person), but the caramel popcorn sundae was a 10/10 standout. The combination of salted caramel ice cream, fudge at the bottom, and crunchy popcorn was pure perfection.
came here for a celebratory dinner for a friend and it definitely had a casual but elevated atmosphere. our server was very kind and attentive, always refilling the water and checking-in time to time. the food was good but none of it blew me away for the price. menu highlights for me: peekytoe crab toast (yum), bass (good but pricey), and side asparagus (nice surprise).
food was great, atmosphere was great, server was horrible. He had been there a long time (multiple years) and was clearly burned out. Our busser was all smiles and worked his butt off. Really wante…

Overall, very nice. Everything was good. We had the bolognese, the fried chicken, the snap peas as a side, kale salad, shrimp appetizer, and carrot cake for dessert. I think the star was the bologn…
This was my second time at ABC. I was returning there after having a good experience few years ago. However, this time this place was a total disappointment, starting with the service and ending up with the food. I ordered the same roasted carrot salad like last time. But… it didn’t taste the same:( carrots actually were not that roasted and the salad lacked dressing. So it felt like it was missing something. Truffle pizza was half burned and dry therefore. And dough was tasteless. Not something you’re expecting from that dish. The service was another story. Though I ordered pizza for the main course, it was served while I was still working on the salad, so pizza got cold of course. While I was eating pizza, they asked a few times if I needed to pack the rest for taking it out as if they were trying to kick me off and free up the table. Instead of enjoying the dinner, you’re getting stressed each time when the waiter was approaching. Finally, when it was time to pay, it turned out that they didn’t bring debit machine to the table but took your credit card instead. I thought this practice is in the past and is not admissible anymore especially in the establishments like abc. Given all the personal information breaches and credit card information thefts. But sounds like this is normal for abc… which is sad. Therefore having a reservation at their sister restaurant JoJo for the next day - I immediately cancelled it after the dinner at abc. Don’t want to have the same experience. And Definitely not returning while in the city next time.
Food was enjoyable and the team were friendly. However - being asked whether we'd finished five times means I won't be returning. For context we arrived at 6.00 and left by 7.30 - hardly table hogging. Being polite doesn't counteract the obvious desire for your customers to move on asap! Not good enough.
I went here for brunch because I've been to some of the other restaurants and I've had great experiences. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Food: The food was a decent size but tasted pretty average for the prices we were paying. Service: Atrocious. No one came and checked on us and if we tried to flag someone down they acted as if we were causing them inconvenience. Price: Everything was over priced especially considering what we were getting for it. I paid $50 for tea and a pizza. Ambiance: The one positive thing about the restaurant is it's ambiance. It's really cool decor and I love all the different designs. Clearly a lot of though was putting into decorating this restaurant. Instagram: @TheShahLALand
There for brunch: the menu is actually rich with multiple options for many tastes. Food is good and well cooked and tasty. Unfortunately our experience was not great, maybe we were unlucky: we had to ask to change multiple items (spoon and a plate) because dirty. Service was a bit slow (not a big issue if you are not in a rush) but then they started to clean up the table before all people at the table were done with their meal. Overall the staff was nice but these items made the experience a bit meh.
In short, a little over priced. Service is amazing; wait staff were super attentive. Our glasses were always full, food arrived quickly, many check ins by the staff. The food was not good enough for the price point. The duck skin was still soft, not crispy. It also had a gamey taste (there’s a lot of methods to remove this flavor in prep that isn’t used) and was served with mustard (not a great pairing). Their kale, sausage pizza special was good for the price point but a little on the salty end. Not sure what else to order on the menu that’s more “special” though. Hamburger? Their tartare is top notch, and they were creative with the way they give veggie tortillas to eat it with. Crab bread was good. Apps were a tad over priced though but that’s just one dudes opinion.
Mug of hot chocolate was $14 and didn't even taste like chocolate. Soft scrambled eggs was a small portion with burned toast. Cardamom pancake was alright. Slice of chocolate cake was very rich and tasty, but also small for $17. The service was very professional, attentive and proactive. Overall, brunch here felt overpriced. You pay for the nice ambience. I wouldn't come back here.
We were sat immediately, and taken care of quickly. The service was good, and attentive. It was a bit cramped, we had to move tables and nearly Knock down decor to squeeze into the seats. But nonetheless less it seemed okay. The FOOD. If I’m gonna spend 30 bucks a plate for BREAKFAST, i expect it to be good. I got the Benedict and both of my eggs were cooked through which defeats the purpose of the meal. Upon asking the waitress about it she said there was nothing they could do as I had eaten the rest of the meal (not the eggs). My wife got the salmon toast and she liked her meal. A bit small but no big deal. Overall not a bad experience but nothing to write home about. Won’t be attending again but not the worst experience. Please learn how to poach eggs.
The food was excellent but the service was a drag. We waited over 1 hour 15 minutes for even the appetizer to arrive. In a city like NY where you have so many great options to eat or drink, that kind of wait time is unacceptable specially on a Tuesday evening when a lot of the tables were empty.
We ordered quite a bit to get a good tasting for our group of three. I was honestly disappointed with most of the food and the service was lacking. The only thing I could confidently recommend is the Campanelle. Everything else was either over or under cooked and under seasoned. We didn’t get water refills until we were done eating, and actually didn’t see our waiter until we had been done for quite a while. Just an ok experience for me. I expected more for the price
It was ok. I tried the beam soup, which was not bad, but just ok. The main course, I tried the fried chicken, which was simply too spicy. The heat was overpowering the chicken to the point when I sim…
Food was ok! For the price we paid, I was expecting better flavors and food. Desserts were delicious though.\n\nI have been in abcV and the food is 10,000 better.

First time trying this restaurant and was very disappointed. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. Dark, but not too dark, rustic and very warm and relaxing. The service and food were not as stunning. You must order the entree at the same time as the appetizer. Our entrées were served within minutes of the appetizers being cleared which was very disappointing. It felt as though their goal was to turn tables quickly. The entrées when served were underwhelming. We had two duck entrées and both of them were warm at best and no part of these dishes were hot. The sea bass was hot when served but it comes skin on and the skin was slimy and soft. If you serve with skin on I think it should be crispy and this definitely was not. We did tell the server when she asked how the meal was that the duck was served cold. She offered to send over a manager which we refused and said our only point of telling her was so that she could let the kitchen know. She still sent a manager over and we told her the same. We then waited over 20 minutes before our server returned. The entrées were cleared and desert menus given by a the person clearing the table and we had to ask him for our check in order to get the server to return. I have eaten at several Jon-Georges restaurants and this is the only time I have left thinking I will not be back. On a positive note the appetizers were very good. Stracciatelli was absolutely delicious. Room temp, creamy and the cherries were a perfect pop. Carrot salad was also good as was the special prawn appetizer.
I came here with three others on a Wednesday night in late November. I made the reservation the previous week. The service experience at this restaurant was extraordinarily awful to the extent I will be telling all of my friends about it. We arrived on time for 730pm reservation and were told that our table wasn’t ready. We stood in the corner waiting for them to say our table was ready. After 20 minutes of no one approaching us on the status or to apologize for the delay, we went back to the host stand for an update. My husband voiced frustration about the wait for our table to the manager who got defensive and said she had nothing to do with the problem. We further complained about her response and how horribly they handled the situation; she got more defensive and ended up very visibly begrudgingly bringing us four glasses of champagne. We finally got seated after waiting for 30 minutes. I live in and have dined in Manhattan for many years and I’ve never waited this long for a table I had reserved. Upon ordering, our server also had an attitude. The chicken entree was not available (probably would have been if we were seated on time). Then when our food was served, it was all served separately within several minutes of each other. No one apologized or offered to make it better. They also comped nothing off our check. The people running this place must be really awful to hire people that work in this manner. The food was also fine at best. I wish we had just left and dined else where. I will not be back and I would not recommend.
I have been long time customer and absolutely love this place. Ordered a dessert for my bf’s bday that he loves, came not in a great condition but okay I know if I order delivery I’m not expecting it looking perfect. But a very important ingredient is missing!! The crunchy chocolate balls. The dessert is not the same!!! Do not order delivery if you want a proper presentation. Called the restaurant many times , no one picked up the phone!! I wanted to reach out not to complain but simply just order another one and make sure they deliver it in a way it’s supposed to and as shown on the picture when you order a dessert. Very disappointed.
This place is a shadow of its former self. Sadly the place didn’t transition well to outdoor seating. They need to do a better job of making it appealing. The food was not the best. For example, the beef tenderloin dinner menu was the size of a starter with no sides just chunks of meat on a dipping sauce. Too pricey and it wasn’t that good. The fish tacos were too spicy which I think was done to mask the quality of it more than intentional. They ran out of bread about two hours into opening for dinner. The chips for the guacamole dip were overly salted! Plus the service was mediocre. Waiter was doing his best not to seem over serving outdoor dining. I don’t think the way this place is now that it’s worth the food and ambiance. Sorry needs to be better.
This is your warning! $8 for a soda with each refill after being $8! I've never heard of something like that.... Ever? food was very mediocre. Would never come back. I'm shocked it has good reviews!

Be prepared to be hungry after the meal. The lobster was $80 and they didn't even give me a full lobster. It was half a lobster at max. What a disappointment. Everything's bite-sized. I had to go pick up some food at the local supermarket after having spent over $100 on food.
Waited so long for the food to come, and when we got it it felt the food had been sitting around for a while, the cheese on the pizza was hard. Also the portion sizes were so small! Taste and quality does not match the price at all. So many great restaurants around here, really regret coming here.
My friends and I came to celebrate a birthday, expecting a polished experience from a restaurant bearing the Jean-Georges name. I waited an hour for my burger, which was an absolute atrocity—dry and flavorless. The calamari starter, meant to be shared, arrived in a skimpy portion that barely sufficed for the table. The tomato pizza was fine, but honestly the only true standout was the black truffle pizza. Everything else felt simply not worth the exorbitant wait or expense. The food was decent, but nothing memorable — and it was completely overshadowed by the trainwreck of a service experience. On top of that, we had to ration our water throughout the meal because no one ever refilled our glasses. Despite having an abundance of staff — including three people handling the hostess duties, one of whom’s entire job seemed to be just walking guests to their tables — it felt like no one was paying any attention to us. We came in as a party of seven, got our drinks and appetizers fairly quickly, and then waited over an hour for our entrées. In that time, our waiter showed up once to let us know the food would be out “shortly.” Thirty minutes later, the manager appeared with an apology and an offer of free dessert — which sounded nice, until the entrées finally arrived and the waiter immediately told us the kitchen was closing in five minutes. By then, the restaurant was nearly empty, our frustration was peaking, and we had to put a rush on our plans. We ate, had our plates whisked away, and — shocker — the promised dessert never came. In all my visits to many restaurants, this one was among the rare occasions where I felt genuinely disrespected and flat‑out disappointed—from the service to the overall experience, it fell far below the standard I expect when dining out. We walked out disappointed, annoyed, and completely over it. I won’t be back, and I won’t be giving any other Jean‑Georges restaurant a second chance.
We had previously had a great experience in the restaurant so made the error of trying other menu items through a delivery service. Not sure if Jean George’s sent cold food out from the kitchen or if what we received was once slightly warmer but food ultimately took 1h45 to arrive and was stone cold. For the price point, there are so many better options. Would avoid.
Came here for dinner and I was surprised by how bad the food here was given the amount of positive reviews online. We ordered two different dishes. The seabass and chicken, both were tasteless and had no flavor whatsoever. Drinks were the same. Waitress was loud, unprofessional and the atmosphere was pretty loud and crowded. Chairs were very uncomfortable. 👎👎👎
Think twice before booking a reservation here. The wait alone for our table was 30+ minutes with them repeatedly telling us that the table is finishing dessert. I understand not rushing folks but do not make more reservation slots than you’re capable of holding true to. This is completely unacceptable service, regardless of how good the food is - there is no excuse for this poor of service. Book elsewhere.
What can I say besides that this place was utterly CHAOTIC? As much as I had hoped for a wonderful birthday dinner, unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience this evening. I was excited to book a reservation here based on my previous dining experience at JG restaurant and since I’ve already eaten here before. As someone who truly enjoys a great meal, great experience, I was left feeling quite disappointed and sad that I came back. When I arrived, a kind and polite server Kathy greeted me, brought me water, and took my drink order. She informed me she wasn’t my server, but my server will be there shortly. I have to say, original server was nice. She was polite, and everything that happened it wasn’t her fault, just it was part of whole dining experience. Just as I was settling in with my drink and browsing the menu, an alarm suddenly blared—guess what? I was sitting right under it! 🚨 The manager (who clearly doesn’t have much experience since he never checked to see what was the reason they almost let guest leave unhappy or anything) and staff seemed unconcerned, brushing it off with remarks like, “It’s fine; it’ll go back to normal soon.” I mean it was very unpleasant since I was the one sitting there under the ALARM. Despite the commotion, I decided to stick around and continue with my dinner when the alarm finally stopped. Drink was not good, cucumber was old and mushy, so the flavor was not good and refreshing. I opted for a few courses, hoping to savor my meal. For my first course, I chose marinated olives, which were quite good. For the second course, I had the sweet pea soup. While the soup itself was decent, the peas were undercooked and incredibly crunchy; a creamier version would have really elevated the dish, as it felt like it was simply cooked and served without much thought. Next, I ordered the yellowfin tuna tartare, which I was excited about, especially since I love this dish at ABC Kitchen. However, it arrived without any crostini or wontons. I asked another server if I could get some, but they must have forgotten. When I finished the tartare, my original server finally brought some sourdough. Honestly, that should have been served at the beginning, especially since the restaurant had bread plates on the table. I thought that was the proper way to do it—am I missing something? For my entree, I chose the black sea bass, and I have to say, it was the worst fish I’ve had in quite a while. It was mushy and overly fishy, accompanied by more peas that weren’t cooked or blanched. Overall, what a shame and a disappointment this dining experience turned out to be.
