Opiniones de Patent Coffee Broadway
This place is fantastic. Some of the best espresso in the city.
Honestly the cafe is much much better than the bar here. Really good coffee and a rotating selection of beans. The staff really know what they're talking about. They let me taste a variety of brews to figure out which one I'd like best and only charged me for one. Super nice interactive coffee experience, will be frequenting this place. Really wish I took photos 😔
Stopped by and got the cold brew with cherry syrup. Omg game changer. Literally no one is offering cherry syrup and I believe Patent’s housemade. The cold brew was so divine with it. Jonathan was my barista and was warm and inviting. Always loved coming here in the past. I’m happy I rediscovered it again.
I ordered a chocolate banana latte. It was really good. The barista makes his syrup and flavor base from scratch, which isn’t done in a lot of cafes. I will definitely be back to try their seasonal flavors.
I spoke with the barista here in the middle of a hot summer day. He mentioned that at night the place transformed into a bar/event space in the back, but the place itself is already cool imo. He makes all his own syrups for the coffee shop, and he's always trying to make something new for each season that isn't regular at most coffee shops.
Awesome little coffee spot, Latte's were perfect. Very small space though, don't expect to stay to hangout. Come to grab the best coffee quick.
Great coffee. Great service. I love that they change their menu with the season and keep the things that worked. My personal fave is the Earl Grey Latte. Go back at night for amazing cocktails in the speakeasy behind it.
Really tasty coffee with unique flavors. The guy working there was really friendly and helpful, guiding us through the different signature drinks and flavors they have. One of my favorite coffee shops for sure. Pro Tip: there are additional flavors on the back of the list of flavors on the counter. I got an iced cardamom latte and it was excellent.
Patent Coffee is exceptional. Their infusions are made from whole ingredients, are minimally processed, and incredibly delicious! The unassuming space is subterranean so look for the sandwich board outside. I have enjoyed a vanilla fig oat latte twice now. Looking forward to trying other flavors.
This coffee shop was so cute and the coffee was fantastic. We both got a spicy boy... One hot, one cold and were extremely happy with them. Some of the best spiced coffee I've ever had. Not so sure what's going on with the speakeasy in the back but it seems unnecessary to route people through a beautiful coffee shop when they're already intoxicated and leaving more so. It appeared to me that some interior decor and maybe some equipment had been vandalized or stolen by these late night customers . This lovely coffee shop and the baristas who work there deserve better than this.
The home made syrups are very special, great service!!
Happened upon this gem of a coffee shop by chance, while visiting NYC for a week. The coffee is excellent - we tried Americano’s and oat milk lattes, all great. The baristas were really welcoming, helpful and full of good vibes. The ambience is clean & modern. All these things kept us coming back daily.
Simple coffee shop offering great coffee and delicious breakfast danishs. The cinnamon morning roll is particularly good. The staff were all very friendly and super efficient. Great little place.
What a lovely surprise. The barista was amazing and I loved chatting with him. We got a very well done espresso and he made us try the Brazilian drip coffee they had on rotation. Not a lot of seats, but definitely a good place to enjoy a lovely espresso.
Small unassuming spot, really excellent smooth roast and all homemade syrups (big range!) are free which is a bonus. A few bar seats to perch at if you wanna hang out.
I’ve been here for both their bar and coffee, and I really love their coffee beans — they’re so flavorful and smooth. Today, the kind woman working there recommended the vanilla fig - homemade syrup, and wow, it was honestly the best I’ve ever tried. I’m usually not a syrup person, but this one was totally worth it. She was so kind and welcoming, which made my visit even more special. As soon as I stepped outside, I was happily sipping my coffee… and even a bee couldn’t resist it — it flew over and made me spill half my drink, haha. I guess that’s how you know it’s really good!
Ok, if you are a person who loves hot sauce, puts tabasco and sriracha on everything you must must must try the spicy boy coffee. It was so good. Been wishing for it everyday since. This place doubles as a bar in the back, I look forward to trying that next.
Great small coffee shop with friendly staff. There is a small set of stairs to go down to get access into the shop. Coffee was delightful and as a bonus I was able to use my mug! This was right down the street from the Chelsea flea market so location was convenient as well.
Probably the best coffee we have had in the city. So happy we discovered this place after brunch at the Smith’s. I found it on google maps. I like the bunker style shop. Simple but aesthetically pleasing. The best thing about this shop is the barista and the coffee he made. I asked for a recommendation, and was asked about my preferences. Finally decided on the rosemary latte and it was awesome 👏 I enjoyed talking to the barista about flat whites and the technicalities of coffee. So sad we weren’t able to come back for another cuppa! And I forgot his name! But he is awesome!
Was happy to discover this compact, hip coffee shop just two blocks away from my hotel (the Moxy Chelsea). Was even happier to find out they’re one of few places in town already serving CBD-infused coffee. Had the cold brew and it didn’t disappoint - there was a slight kick to it, but the flavor overall was balanced.
Great staff that is very friendly and helpful. Worth going out of your way to get coffee here! Def put it on your list!!
Great little spot to quickly grab a cup of coffee or latte. Best within a few blocks radius. Cookies are fresh and almond croissants are full of almond paste! The only drawback is that there are no seats to rest and enjoy the coffee.

Loved this place for coffee. Best we had in NYC. Batista was super nice, friendly and helpful, took time with everyone whether regulars or tourists like us! Coffee was on point, great flavour and perfect drinking temperature. Very much worth exploring the flavours too though - we had the rosemary oat, honey oat and vanilla fig lattes over a couple of days and they were all phenomenal. If you’re in the city near here, definitely check it out. If you’re not near here, get near here.
Underground coffee shop with the most immaculate rosemary syrup. Truly phenomenal selection of homemade syrups and espresso that is perfect for nyc. Can’t wait to try the speakeasy!
Amazing coffee with house made specials and very friendly service. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic. My new favorite coffee spot in the area. Great service and Excellent quality coffee, and I LOVE that they have so many unique flavors and make syrups in-house. The fig syrup is a MUST try (praying they don’t ever take it off the menu!!) Also, their prices are very competitive for this part of midtown. Will definitely return again and again.
got a fig latte and it was so good! asked for not too sweet and it was perfect. excited to come back and try the other flavors!

Hi, is Patent Coffee still running? I’ve tried to visit a few times and it looks shut down. It’s so disappointing because it was my favorite cafe in the city. They had the best coffee and cookies. I reached out to their email then got an automatic response that it doesn’t exist anymore. I also tried calling and no one answered. I’m confused why google still states their open and why they still have a website running? Can I please get some answers on what the case is?
It’s a small space but cute inside. Their syrups are organized to show what combinations other customers have enjoyed together. That inspired me to try cherry and caramel in my latte. Unfortunately I didn’t feel it paired too well, but I do hope to come back and try others. The employees were so friendly and they have a punch card which is always a plus.
A just normal café where I would probably not return (mostly due to the dull and not friendly guy who attended us). I have been at the Patent Pending a couple of times, and I like it, so I thought I could give Patent Coffee a try. Probably would not repeat again.

latte and cortado were both very watery, the milk wasnt steamed properly so it was just espresso + warm milk rip
The pour over I got wasn't good. The beans were slightly burnt. The service is nice though. Maybe good for other things, but not for black coffee.

Cozy space and good coffee. No free wifi to work and the building structure does not allow for good hotspot connection. Would not recommend if you were interested to come work.
“cappuccino” cool vibe though

Flat white is fine but the barista didn't look like he want to be there. He was busy on his phone when I walked in, and didn't even bother to acknowledge until after he's done with his phone... And he made 0 effort making the drink look presentable.

This used to be my favorite coffee shop, but I’m posting this because no one picks up the phone. I’ve come by to this place around 9 AM multiple times and it’s always closed and locked. Please correct your opening hours if you’re not actually going to be open at 8:30 AM. Or pick up your phone, Please.
barista seems to decide who gets served based on their mood. stood in line w one person in fromt of me. another customer walks in 5 min later and barista ignores me. Fyi, bring CC. no "tap" available. I was ready w cash. Starbucks has better service.
Went there twice and came back due to waiting! I guess how good is it we would never know!
