Opiniones de Rainbow Dim Sun Broadway
This place is amazing!!! We were craving dim sum but didn’t want to go all the way to flushing or Chinatown and didn’t want to go to a restaurant either. You can eat there or take out. We ordered cheung fun (the fresh rice rolls), the ha gao (shrimp dumplings), siu mai, some baos, and bubble tea. This place is fast, delicious, and extremely affordable, like extremely which I appreciate. I grew up eating dim sum and this totally hit the spot. The cheung fun was so fresh and delicious. All their dim sum was great. Their bubble tea isn’t super fancy but at a great price! At the bubble tea chains it would have been double the price! We will be coming back and definitely recommend it!
I was craving dim sum ever since quarantine hit in March but didn’t want to go all the way in flushing. I came to this place cause it was open at 8am LOL and I am very pleased!! For two people, we got shu mai, haw gao, chicken feet, bean curd, pork congee and fried shrimp rice rolls. Keep in mind: if you’re ordering congee, it will take a while because it’s made from scratch and it’s a big portion!! The rice rolls are huge too and thin (so you know it’s handmade too!). Needless to say, we had a lot left over. All this was $21 and they take card with orders above $10. I saw other reviews on service, but it was fine for me. Since they are run by older folks, they might not be able to speak English well. I would say take initiative and walk up to the register bc they will assume you’re just there to look around.
After newly renovations they finally opened with new items. Good thing is they still have dim sums. They also customize ice cream cakes for birthdays.
you may call beforehand to avoid long waits delicious food! 3 seating tables only
Delicious dim sum & other snacks for excellent prices!

This just recently opened (grand opening sign still up), and as far as I can tell is related to the double rainbow bakery next door (my to-go order used the double rainbow plastic bag). This is a sit-down dim sum place, albeit with only a few tables but otherwise clean and inviting. The selection of dim sum here is larger than the prepackaged stuff next door; even my to-go order was made fresh. If you liked the stuff at double rainbow, you should feel right at home here (I grab random dimsum and baked goods from them all the time). While most of the signage is in Chinese, the staff speak English just fine and the menu signage has English as well. Definitely give it a try!
I came here a little before 3pm and there was t that much dimsum food left. I got two shrimp (3.50 each) balls and two beef rolls (4.50 each), the portions for the beef was really good and for the shrimp it was small but not bad for the price. All in all it was a good lunch. Definitely need to come here earlier next time xD
Best dim sum in elmhurst so far. Rice rolls are super fresh and chewy. ShuMai is really good doesn’t have the smelly pork smell to it. Overall I would recommend this place.

Yummy dim sum, varied menu! There are some interesting, sugary colorful drinks and bubble teas to choose from, and they tasted great. Their toast seems to be a specialty too, and it was delicious. Good fun, I think kids would love it - a place with lots of little desserts and dishes to try.
Very tasty and affortable place for a quick breakfast and/or lunch. Got a pastry + coffee for less than $4. Their dim sum is very good as well. Worth a try if around the area and tire of the rising prices in places like Dunkin Donut and other chain restaurants.
The dim sum was really good, except for the meats that were of decent quality, but scarce. The food is filling and really inexpensive.

Good food, very convenient when you want a snack or a light lunch. However, the workers could be a little nicer when working the register. I come here often and am very polite with them and I still get a grunt in response when I say "thank you".
The dim sum is average, but the price is fair for what you get. They do not take NFC/credit card, cash only; and they run the bills thru a machine to verify.
They've improved upon their previous Chinese style pastries and buns, and included dim sum next door. Better than average cakes for birthdays and regular consumption.

barely write reviews for food but this place really disappoints. I loved the rainbow bakery and the dimsum to go they sell so decided to give a try at the sit down rainbow dimsum. The sit-down space doesn't add anything to the good food but disappointment. The wider selection of food and drinks turned out to be low in quality and taste than the selected few at the bakery. The service was cold and, rude, even not by intention. Gives me the feel ordering in a dark cold hospital canteen with nobody in. Won't come in again.
Dim Sum is not bad here, good flavor, Do not come here expecting good service, as in the typical Chinese business, good customer service is nonexistent, you can stand there and seem to be invisible 🤣 but trust me they will come to u to, eventually. Language barrier is also present, so they will take those who speak the language first. Food again, hits a good spot for dim sum, they dont have a large variety but do have main known dishes, like, shumai, chicken feet among the most known.
The food in this place is pretty good. The service however is something someone have to get used to. Maybe its the frustration of the language barrier or maybe they just hate their job/life. Either you just ignore or just go somewhere else. There's a lot of places you can go. I went back there lately, because like I said.. the food is good. But, the service still suck. So, I decided to just avoid the place completely.

This food is always contaminated and damaged a bad service from the employees a lot of noise and little hygiene the more they delete the comment I come back and put it
If I were able to give 0 stars, I would. I came in today (8/26) at 3:05pm, hoping to buy some Cheung Fun (steamed rice noodles rolls) from them. I was standing in front of the counter, waiting for someone to take my order, yet, still after about 5 mins, the workers looked at me a few times, kept talking in the back and didn't seem to care. Keep in mind, there were no customers at the time. After a couple minutes, someone they knew came in, was immediately received their warm hospitality. I definitely feel that this was an unfair experience and they really need to work on better service. I will tell my experience to neighbors and friends who have lived here for a long time. If you want to eat happily, you must think carefully before going in.

7am in the morning. It wasnt crowded. First come and then after 20 people and waited for 30 minutes, my order came. — 5 months later — Same slow service. They keep getting confused with their menu lettering. B1, D1, B2, D2. I suggested them to change the letter instead using D, maybe try use A. The cashier says that it is fine like that. Suggested them to put an image on the menu, and she said that they already have the picture everywhere.
