Very tasty bagel sandwiches, served a couple minutes after ordering. Got to the bagel place around 11 AM on a weekend. There was no line to order, and my partner and I ordered 2 bagel sandwiches from their set menu, receiving them less than 5 mins after ordering. Their bagels are delicious, although the onion bagel toppings ended up coming out a bit burnt (and definitely smelled of onion in the store) so I would only recommend against ordering that one toasted. The lox was great as well as the bacon egg and cheese. I wouldn’t mind getting bagels from here again on the way to Rockefeller park! 🥯

The food was good and it was relatively quick. Price to taste to worth it ratio was not high but it was worth it. The food was pretty good. Got the bagel and coffee which was pretty good. The washrooms were mediocre but then again it’s in the busy area of NYC Service there is hit or miss. When I went up for my first bagel I was met with staff who just wanted me to order. Unsure of the menu, I asked what was good and some options and the reply was to “just get the original” just a little more cold service. Can’t complain about the atmosphere. The window front of the store was nice and had let in a good amount of sunlight as well as seeing outward.

Picked up a breakfast sandwich this morning and man it was delicious! The quality of bagel is on another level from the other ones in the area. It was def one of the most amazing bagels I've ever had. Crusty on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. The eggs were cooked so well. The ordering process was nice and easy and the staff was super friendly. It's about double the price from other options in the area but def worth it!

Avocado toast but on an everything bagel. How cool was that?! Love how their bagel is crispy on the outside and still soft and chewy with every bite. Avocado was on point. Fast service and friendly staffs. This is one of the best bagels I have tried in New York.

Zucker’s Bagels & Smoked Fish is a true New York gem. The bagels are everything you want them to be—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and always fresh. I had the classic lox with cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and capers on an everything bagel and it was perfection. The smoked fish is top-quality, and you can tell they take pride in their ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient, even during the busy morning rush. Great spot for a legit NYC bagel experience!

This place is good, but totally overpriced and the staff is not friendly at all. Indeed, the bagel was delicious, but not worth 20 dollars. It was very hyped everywhere so I decided to try it, but won’t be back. I’ve had very good bagels in NY, just like this one, but at 1/3 the price. An extra point for having the “gluten free” option for the menu, plus a special green bagel made for St. Patrick’s day.

Visited Zucker's for breakfast on regular Monday, and in general, it's a decent place for takeout only. Menu on the wall is a little bit confusing for those, who come here for the first time. There are no names and descriptions of bagels, (pictures show they had shelves with names before, but what happened to them?) I came up with onion just because I imagined the sandwich I wanted in my head; other than that, it would've been more complicated. It's not particularly roomy in here, and cleanness leaves much to be desired. Few tables and the counter in dining area haven't seen some good wipe in a while, although it will take just few min to clean them, as this area is tiny. The fridges and other glass panes in order area look like they need some windex as well. Now to the good part, as both sandwiches ordered were really tasty, both had salmon and it was super fresh; the avocado toast had freshly grounded avocado as well, completely green, zero blackened spots. Bagel itself was amazing too, golden-brown with those amazing caramelized onions on top... I made the right choice. Coffee was legit, although I ordered two and waited for them twice as long as for sandwiches... I even went to counter as I've noticed the lady serves coffee right away for those who obviously going to walk away with it, and stood there till she made those for me - there was no other way to get it. But this is more like the service concern tho. Now, pricing is okay; and the gentleman who was taking the order warned us ahead of time, that if we wanna add some salmon on top of the avocado toast it will cost $18, because of the way their system works (something like $10 for sandwich and $8 for salmon topping, that normally goes as addition to a salad, but regardless of where you put it, it's same price). Other than that, coffee was something like $4, sandwiches range like $8-12, so its okay for lower Manhattan I guess. As I said in the very beginning, I may pick something up for takeout one day, but there is nothing really worth dining in.

Overpriced and underbaked and totally disappointing. Bagel with cream cheese, dry bagel, and small coffee for $13?? Bagels were so chewy my jaw was hurting after eating. If you order cream cheese you can expect about a tablespoon - quite the meager ration. This place is quite obviously all about the money and not the quality. Plenty of better bagel shops out there. Avoid this one.

Hard pass. Don’t be fooled by the presentation. The texture is weird…you can’t take a bite without awkwardly squeezing out the filling, which, by the way, is extremely salty. It’s so salty it inflamed the tip of my tongue. Maybe the excessive saltiness helps mask the fact that the fish wasn’t fresh? I was also taken aback when I had to pay $1.50 for a cup of water. This whole experience is just offensive. Smart strategy though: dehydrate your customers and then boost your water sales. A genuine disgrace to the NYC bagel scene. Last thought: this place only survives probably because of tourists. Any true New Yorker will not pay $20 for a white fish salad bagel.

Honestly…. it was mid. As a tourist I was super excited to try Zuckers because it was highly recommended on social media platforms. My boyfriend and I were super disappointed because the bagels themselves were not great. Service was meh. Atmosphere was great because we went to the Zuckers right by Bryant park. However, the bagels were not worth it. $30 for 2 bagels when you 100% could find a better bagel in a hole in the wall. If you’re looking for a great bagel that is worth the money I wouldn’t suggest Zuckers. Only leaving this review because I wish I knew before!

Severely overpriced, I wanted a simple bagel with salmon, it was $17 plus coffee is almost $4, I settled for a regular bagel with cream cheese and coffee and still paid $10, this is unheard of, I’m a New Yorker, a coffee and a bagel shouldn’t be over $5 together and maybe 2-3$ for fish, this place is a rip off, they also messed up my coffee, it’s not that hard to understand black coffee which they kept asking me about and still gave me milk. I’m upset, feel ripped off but I’m already out of time and have to get to work. Never coming back here again, for $20 you can have a feast for breakfast if you know your way around the city, I really wanted to give these guys a try but nope, 👎

The worst service ever from Lulu and Matthew. We ordered four different bagels from the place. We never ordered a pickle cream cheese bagel, but they added it to our order instead of the July special one with BBQ sauce in it. The person who took the order was Carlos, and his mistake was understandable, but when we requested the right bagel…. Lulu and Matthew treated us so poorly….. they blamed their colleague Carlos for taking the order wrong. it's possible.... as we are all human... mistakes could happen! We gave the pickle one back, but they only gave us half of the right order bagel in exchange. They kept blaming us, saying that we had brought the pickle bagel with a bite already taken. This is why… we could only have half of the right ones…….. what a joke. One of the people in my group had a bite of the pickle one because she thought it was her scallions cream cheese bagel….. The way they treated me and my group was very insulting. It was a lifetime experience. They care about the cost of half of the bagel rather than treating customers right when they make mistakes… they blame each other for bad service and mistakes. Poor teamwork. Poor service ever.
