Went to George’s on a Wednesday with my sibling. We both ordered bacon burgers with fries. I got curly fries instead of regular fries and I loved them! Burger was delicious! 😋

The restaurant has been there for years (1961) from what I read waiting for my food . The lobster Bisque that was in the container had lots of lobster which was a nice surprise. The Manhattan Clam chowder was good but had some sand from the clam shell when they prepared the soup in it.

Very nice staff and atmosphere. Ordered fried eggs, pancakes, home fries, bacon and sausage and mozzarella sticks. The food came hot and quickly. It was very good - exactly what I wanted from a neighborhood restaurant. The price was reasonable also. They have several different soups available and entrees that are highly recommended that I will definitely go back to try. Great local spot. This is also one of those restaurants they charge you twice. I know one will ‘fall off’, however it is still unnecessary and when stores do this, I believe it is very unfair and for people who are on a budget it can have negative consequences.

I went there with my mother after a short walk from Pelham Bay Park. The service was decent and my meal was pretty good and very filling. The venue is pretty much like a diner vibe.

I went there to have a nice breakfast. It didn't turn out the way I thought it would be didn't like the service. I didn't like how the waitress totally ignore us. They didn't bother to see if we're okay or even offer me any coffee. I understand it's overwhelming, and they were on the under staff on Monday 5/26. But they should have done more better. You know, it's about the customers there, and I don't like the fact that i'm a paying customer and be ignored, you know, it's doesn't matter who walked through those doors, you should treat every customer as if they were part of a family in the diner, it's a shameThey could have done better today.

At first the waitress was really rude, I asked some things and she answered on a mad way, then they let us waiting a lot of time. I also asked for an orange juice and they didn't give it to me. I had to wait around an hour for the food which was simple and the meat taste was disappointing, the broccoli has a weird color and too soft and the smashed potatoes didn't taste to anything. I feel one of the waitress discrimated at me and my mom because we are not from this country. I wouldn't come back there, just the cleaner and the cashier were nice.

You should NOT advertise you open at 6am , when I got there today at 6:05 and there were workers in there and they are saying they are closed….. you post hours, you should honor them. It’s freezing outside and I made my way here because it said you were open, so I travelled here for No REASON but to be turned away. TERRIBLE

I ordered pancakes through Uber Eats & the pancakes came raw. They were mushy and I was not able to eat them. Uber Eats did not want to provide a refund so it was a waste of money. Went straight to the trash. First time I ordered from them and will be the last. Very disappointed.

Ordered burger deluxe with mashed potatoes. I assumed they would be REAL potatoes but they were instant as confirmed by our waitress. Dry and tasteless. She told me they don’t serve “real” mashed potatoes until 3 pm for the dinner crowd. Asked her for some lemon for my water; waited 15 minutes and had to ask again. And to top it off, my medium rare burger came out medium. Lousy food and lousy service.
