The most delicious barbecue you’ll ever eat!!!
This restaurant is a mom and pop owned of 20 years plus . It’s a cute family owned business . The food is delicious . The Pilmeni soup I highly recommend I like to add lemon and spice . This style of kebab is very authentic and original . Each piece on the skewer is bite sized and juicy. They are very old school , the old lady is the waitress and hostess. She always stays open late if I call her 5 minutes to closing . They are very warm people . My top favorite skewers are : liver , sweet breads , beef and lamb ribs .
Best kosher place for grilled skewers, meat and chicken.. My favorite places in Brooklyn!! Angela and her husband are also so sweet!
Best food I have ever ate! We have been coming here for 20 years! We comeusually every week. Great food, kind owners and an amazing chef. Prices are not expensive compared to other places I been. Everyone should try it out.
This is by far the best and only restaurant I go to eat kabobs if I am very hungry. I can come here 6 times a week and eat more and more everyday , such a small operation but such a comfy and cozy place , ladies and gentlemen don't be fooled, might not be the most decorative but defiantly the most flavorful
Great Kosher home style food. They have delicious kebabs and everything is made fresh. Whenever I come here it feels like home. I guarantee you'll enjoy the food here.
This is one of my favorite establishments, not only have I been coming to eat here my whole childhood from birthdays to family events, the owner makes you feel right at home no matter who u are and where you come from the food is out of This world and her brother on the grill is awesome I love all them as if they are my family will continue to come eat here and support them. The kebabs are delicious and especially the veal liver and tonsils! But it is very difficult with parking for cars. And a bit pricey in my opinion.

Food here is good, come here sometimes for lunch as it’s within walking distance of work. Giving the food here 3 stars from my last visit and will show breakdown below: Bread (2 stars) - a little bit old tasting, definitely not fresh. Salad (4 stars) - fresh and simple solid salad with great seasoning. Lagman with pelmeni (1 star) - this was literally a bowl of hot water with pelmeni, cheap noodles and parsley. No flavor and a disappointment. Fried pelmeni (3 stars) - have had much better fried pelmeni at nadezdha, azia, Samarkand etc. Riblets (4 stars) - flavor was great on these as with most of their shashlik, would be 5 stars if all pieces came with meat on them, some pieces have no meat on them. Skirt steak (5 stars) - seasoned and done perfect. Liver (4 stars) - great liver this time, however I’ve come other times and was not as good. Service here is good as they do try and care about serving you promptly however owners are sometimes yelling or fighting in front of customers and doesn’t seem so professional.
Pros: The skewers are tasty and they offer a medley of different meats besides the basics. The food comes in piping hot and each dish comes when ready. The staff (an elderly couple) are pleasant. Not too expensive either. Cons: The atmosphere is run-down and not pleasing to the eye at all. Also wasn't insulated enough I was freezing the whole time (caveat it was a really cold night outside). Lastly, the menu is very sparse outside of the skewers.

I hate writing bad reviews but service was disgraceful. Took 20 min to be seated (plenty of empty seats), 10 min for someone to take our order, followed by rude and rushed comments. On top of all of this, the food took over half an hour for simple skewers. Gave an extra star because the food was good, however, totally not worth it.

This place is horrible. Went to celebrate my dad birthday The owners husband and wife are cheaters. They offer you an old menu with old prices but tell you everything is the same not until they handle you the check. Than you get surprised The meat is super tough and hard to bite and chew. The portions are so tiny you need a microscope. I never saw anything like that in my life They bring you soup the bowl is half full. Super horrible service and food.
This place has a shabby look, rather poor service, but don't judge the book by its cover. It's a fashionable restaurant that charges 6 dollars for a single pickle and another 20 for a vegetable mixture they called salads (multiple). This mixture consisted of half of a fresh onion, 6 cherry tomatoes, tiny piece of pickled cabbage and another tiny piece of pickled something I could not identify. I don't remember how much I paid for the rather stale and warmed up bread and rather thinly spread of hummus, but I am pretty sure they were not cheap either. Finally, I had three skewers of lamb, which by the standards of this place were moderately priced at 15 dollars. For all that plus a can of Coke and black coffee I paid 42 dollars. When I told her my opinion of the quality-price ratio of her establishment, the hostess (a generous term in her case) reciprocated by calling me an informer in Russian, assuming apparently that I would not understand. So, in the spirit of this title, I inform people who interested in eating there that they most likely may find a better place to eat.
Owner of the place very rood, she brought to us cup and teapot very dirty and disgusting. I thought how she put salad to the plate with her dirty hand. After she took money she start talking very unprofessional. Don't even go there. When I saw her dirty menu I almost trow out .
If you were looking for the worst service restaurant in Brooklyn this is a spot. The food is good, Even though I ordered the same exact meal each time prices change. So I finally decided to write this place with a one star just because the kebabs are good otherwise I would’ve gave it a zero.
Better spend your money somewhere else. The guy running the place is insolent and rude, customer service is basically a non-existent notion for them. Cheesy and dirty place. The workers who touch food don’t seem to care about hygiene. Left without ordering. Definitely not the place to visit with friends if you don’t want to burn in shame.
Not Good . We were there on the 5th of October 2025. Probably around 9Pm someone walked into the area we were sitting at in the restaurant and yelled at the lady owner that her front guy cook has been refusing him service . The guy seemed very upset and hurt . Then her other employee went to the front to fight with this guy as well . From what I perceived this place was profiling customers . Seemed very unreasonable and quite frankly we all felt disgusted / repulsed . The food didn’t go down as well after seeing how bad someone else was treated while we were allowed to be sitting down . We won’t be coming back to this place . Also the price on the menu wasn’t the price charged . I wouldn’t have left a review about the price . But I had to alert people to avoid a place that thinks some people are undeserving of service . These are high Jewish holidays and I’m assuming this guy was also a Jew wanting to eat kosher food . Regardless even if he was just a random person non Jew / no one should be refused service . If someone doesn’t pay then u call the police . I think this guy even pulled out his pockets to show he had monies ??? Real Disgusting Behavior . My family and I won’t be returning .
