SO SO GOOD. Easily some of the best pizza in New York, for real for real. If you’re having a night out in Bushwick, you must stop here before heading home. Slices are massive and flavorful. Worth the short wait.
If you're looking for a saucy , cheesy slice... This place will Not disappoint! I not only is the artichoke slice a satisfier of fatty cravings, but their margherita slice is one of these best I've had in the City! And if you're into a rustic rich flavor profile, the double baked vodka slice is a must try. Enjoy!
Fun spot, great pizza and salad. Really good ingredients.
Excellent Pepperoni slices. My favorite crust in NYC. High quality pepperoni. My new go to spot.
Some of the best pizza I’ve had in NY. Large slices, thin crust, high quality and the owner is a really nice guy .. very welcoming and he greeted us warmly .. and didn’t rush us. Highly recommend
Near the L train, Jefferson stop Wyckoff side. Nice small intimate setting with space to dine in. I got the margherita pizza & the sauce was not too sweet but just right & it blended well with the mozzarella & fresh basil. Artichoke pizza never disappoints. I had it at the Chelsea location in Manhattan and it was marvelous as well
I always went late night and ordered to go. Never knew there was an actual indoor part. In recent times, I've gone early enough to catch the indoor open. The drinks are good, and that artichoke slice is explosive!
Artichoke Basille’s is a guilty pleasure for me. Their pizza is thick, saucy, and packed with flavor—perfect for when I’m craving something indulgent. They don’t skimp on the toppings. My only complaint is that the artichoke slice can get a bit too salty at times, but it’s still a go-to spot when I want a rich, satisfying, and quick meal.
I travel all year round, for both work and leisure, and have had pizza all over the World...but I do not remember the last time I had such a quality pepperoni pizza !! We randomly picked this venue as we wanted a quick bite before a concert at Xanadu's, and the service was good, the atmosphere was good, the beer was good, and again, the pizza was fabulous.
Employees are really nice, and super helpful with the menú. I ordered a artichoke slice, the price is Def worth buying it for, it is probably the best slice of pizza I've had so far in New York, it is pretty big, and the taste of it was nice and savory, cream texture and a good crispy crust. Solid 9 out of 10 slice
Swung by Artichoke Basille’s Pizza after a show at Elsewhere. Opted for the standard artichoke slice and split it with my buddy. The slide was oozing with goodness. The white sauce was thick and delicious. Make sure to grab an ample amount of napkins if you’re going for this slice.... your lips, chin, and fingers will definitely get messy. The ambience of the spot is super snazzy. There’s a nice bar and hip music playing as you wait for your slice. I didn’t get to try any of the other slices but they all looked amazing. Check out the pictures if you’re interested in the other slices. Def going to come back next time I’m in Bushwick/East Williamsburg. Come hungry! Leave happy.
Amazing pizza!!! Of course I went for the artichoke pizza, but fell in love with the vodka slice more. The artichoke pizza is huge, not sure if you can tell in the photo, but look at the plate size. The vodka slice is top two of all that I have ever tired. The sauce on both pizzas are to die for. I’m a sauce person, FYI!!! The only thing I want to share about the environment is that it is literally just a spot to grab and go, definitely not a place to hang out in. Not much decor, but that’s okay with me.
You can never go wrong with Artichoke pizzzaa! I love this place at anytime of the day.
Obsessed with this pizza and the environment was so welcoming! We ordered the sampler and I definitely recommend getting this if you want to try different slices at once you get to choose from 3 different slices, delicious!! We ordered the crab, artichoke and a white slice and they cut it in half so it’s not hassle sharing. Will be coming back for more 😂🙏🏻
Got a slice from the side windows and holy the slices were huge. Not only that incredibly tasty. The artichoke pizza in the best way feels like Alfredo sauce pizza. Had an amazing cheese stretch too.
Fantastic pizza and a nice flight of beer! Definitely worth the trip over for lunch! Great atmosphere, superb 90’s jams playing with an even better list of pizza! Great service too! A must try is the artichoke pizza, thicker crust on the back end and flat to front part definitely balanced well!
I’m a pizza snob not a hater - first off. My girlfriend and I needed to waste an hour while our dog was being groomed at around 11:30 and we walked over to Artichoke which thankfully was open. Sat at the bar and ordered the sampler - margherita, pepperoni and artichoke slices which they cut in half for us. The margherita honestly slapped - thin, crunchy with nice fresh bright tomato sauce. My girlfriend loved the other two and honestly it was nice to have somewhere to go that early and have a beer! Our server was so nice and kept an eye on us in case we needed anything. Highly recommend!
Super awesome pizza place! The pizzas were so tasty and sumptuous, and the crusts were super crisp and gives a satisfying crunch when bitten. In my opinion, even better than some of the highly-rated pizzas restaurants in Manhattan! The slice is very huge as well - for $6.95 a slice, it is very well worth the money! My personal favorite flavour was the Crab Slice (just fake crabmeat, but the other ingredients paired it very well). The shop opens till late, so you can always have this option as a late night snack!
Pizza is good. The have a window on the side to order pizza as well incase you don’t want to go inside. Saturdays there’s a jam downstairs called “a jam called Saturday”. Although, someone upstairs was rude to my friends and I who were paying customers. Other than that, it’s usually been good. The vibe upstairs was very dimly lit, intimate, “cozy” vibe.
Wow. Was not expecting to like the Artichoke Pizza as much as I did - I can see why it is so famous. Super cheesy but the artichoke flavor really came through without it being overpowering or smelly. Huge pizza slice for $26 so it was filling but not heavy on the stomach (pleasant surprise). Favorite part of it is the contrast between the soft super thick toppings vs. the bottom crust of the pizza. The bottom crust was PERFECT. not burnt but not limp. Held its structure under the oily thick weight of the filling and was wonderfully crunchy. We also got the margarita pizza slice - it was good. But it fell short compared to the artichoke pizza slice. It had the typical NY super thin bottom crust format (which I’m not a fan of but to each their own). Super nice servers and wasn’t too busy on a late weekend night.
What a cool spot. Popped in with a small group after strolling through the neighborhood checking out art collective pieces. Go for the phonomenal artichoke pizza. It is delicious! Try other slices or a stromboli. They serve several good local beers and some non local beer selections too. The decor and vibe matches the neighborhoods laid back artistic vibe. The manager made us feel so welcome we stayed for a while. Next time we're in town we plan to go during the evening to catch the evening and entertainment vibe. We plan to look for and try Artichoke Basille's pizza in the SF- East Bay area too now that we know about them.
I ordered a quick lunch from this spot through Uber Eats and went with two slices: a Margherita and a Sicilian-style vodka pepperoni. Both arrived warm and fresh, each offering a very different experience. The Margherita was simple yet comforting—thin, crunchy crust with a pure marinara base, fresh basil, and high-quality mozzarella. The Sicilian slice, on the other hand, had a thicker, square-cut crust with a rich vodka sauce carrying a hint of garlic, topped with pepperoni and basil. The flavors were bold, and the cheese quality stood out in both slices. Portion-wise, the slices are generous—two were almost too much for lunch, and honestly, even one could be filling. Overall, this is some of the best pizza I’ve had in Brooklyn, especially if you’re just looking for a solid slice.
Extremely good Pizza, I´m a big pizza fan, LOVED this place. Basically: tasted increeeedible and had 3 completely notable different crust densities which you could feel and enjoy as hell. Place by itself it´s just alright, food amazing. Make sure you try the Artichoke Pizza (the left one on the picture).
“My first experience at Artichoke Basille’s Pizza was fantastic! I tried their white sauce artichoke pizza, and it was definitely worth the trial and the trip. Enjoying a late-night meal in their open area added to the hype vibe and overall experience. If you’re in Brooklyn, this pizza spot is a must-visit!”
Been to 2 locations. 1 in Manhattan and 1 in Bushwick Brooklyn. Just amazing pizza. Large tasty slices. Can be floppy at times due to the toppings or weight of the particular slices sauce. My favorite is their crab slice. I usually say I'm going to get something different the next time I go but. It's a must

The artichoke pizza was so good! It was pricey but the slice was so big I was able to have half there and half later. Their drink special was also good!
I was recommended this spot by a friend & honestly if your balling on a budget or even trying to save some $ when you visit from out of town/state then checkout this spot. Drinks & food are definitely fair as well as fair prices on everything. Also the pizza slices you get are definitely worth the money too. If your not familiar with QR codes they used them here as well as in quite a few New York eateries.
The pepperoni slice at this pizzeria was a culinary masterpiece. The pepperoni, crisped to perfection at the edges, provided a delightful smokiness that complemented the gooey, melted cheese. The crust, thin and crispy, added a satisfying crunch, making each bite a textural delight. As for the vodka slice, it was a revelation. The creamy vodka sauce, rich and flavorful, coated the crust in a velvety layer that harmonized beautifully with the melted cheese. The sauce was infused with just the right amount of herbs and spices, creating a symphony of tastes on the palate. Together, these slices showcased the craftsmanship of the pizzeria's chefs. The attention to detail in the ingredients and the skillful execution of each element resulted in a pizza experience that transcended the ordinary. Whether you're a traditionalist or seeking a culinary adventure, the pepperoni and vodka slices at this establishment are sure to leave your taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The Staten Island pizza slice from Artichoke Basil left much to be desired during my recent tasting experience. Despite expectations, the slice proved disappointing due to its unimpressive presentation and lack of cohesion in flavors. From the outset, the slice appeared messy and disorganized. The toppings seemed haphazardly arranged, resulting in an unsightly appearance that did not align with the expected standards of a quality pizza. The lack of attention to detail in its presentation was immediately apparent and detracted from the overall appeal. Moreover, the slice's inconsistency and lack of coherence in flavors were apparent upon tasting. The ingredients failed to harmonize, leading to a disjointed combination that did not complement each other. This lack of synergy in taste left an underwhelming impression and failed to deliver the anticipated satisfaction. Additionally, the structural integrity of the slice posed a challenge. Its unruly nature made it difficult to consume without everything falling apart, resulting in a messy eating experience. The slice's inability to maintain its form further contributed to the overall dissatisfaction with the culinary offering. In conclusion, Artichoke Basil's Staten Island pizza slice fell short of expectations, primarily due to its messy presentation, lack of flavor cohesion, and structural instability. The disjointed combination of toppings and the overall disarray detracted from the enjoyment typically associated with a well-crafted pizza slice.
A nice pizza spot. Artichoke 18” is great but a lot (as staff warned us). We didn’t listen. 18” + 12” for party of 7 was too much. Very delicious though (as staff promised!) We shared sangria and margarita pitchers and they were normal. Great neighborhood to hang outside, though
Pretty solid pizza. The best part is that they are open very late (3am) so you can go after a concert.
I ordered the Artichoke slice. Pizza was good. Crust is on the thicker side and they definitely didn’t skimp on the sauce but I wasn’t crazy about it- the sauce was almost sweet? It vaguely tasted like a carbonara. The first bites were inviting but after a couple more, it tasted too rich to scarf down. For almost $8, the slice is decently large. I realize the photo doesn’t do it justice but I was able to split this slice with a friend before going for drinks. If I went back, I would try the Crab.
Pizza is good. I love the options and the prices aren’t bad for the size of the slice. Great late night option. It’s definitely a hot spot!
Good pizza, good drinks, nice server. One star off solely because the other server panicked and started calling out "HEY GIO... GIO!!!" because he thought my partner and I had dined and dashed, when actually, I walked up to the counter to pay because the second guy was taking too long. Made me rethink the entire exchange. Was this guy just watching us the whole time because he suspected we would steal? Gio, the cool server/bartender was like "chill... He's right here ..." And I was like oh wow....
Here are my ratings for the slices I did try: Margherita - 8.2/10 Vodka slice - 8.7/10 (not pictured) Artichoke - 7.8/10 (a little on the saltier side for me, very rich sauce) The crust is really good and crispy, the sauces are very flavourful. The vodka was my favourite, margherita would be a close second. Definitely great for a late night bite, slices are huge and filling!
I’ve always loved the classic artichoke slice — it’s very creamy. Lately though, it’s been a bit too salty for my liking. This time, I went with the meatball parm slice and it was easily one of my favorites. I also tried the pepperoni vodka, which comes as a thick square slice. The crust was dense and filling, but overall it didn’t really stand out for me. One thing I do appreciate is that they’re open late, until 4am. That said, there’s usually a long line and the small ordering window makes things feel pretty chaotic — especially on busy nights.
Highly recommend! Did take out window around the corner! The ordering went fast and the pizza was piping hot and so delicious. I over ate my fave slice the crab slice (even though I never eat imitation crab) and then the margherita slice. All of the flavors are tasty depending on your craving. There is a takeout seating area, it is separate from the restaurant area which is too bad, the bar and restaurant seem nice. The manager and workers are pleasant and helpful!

The reason this place gets a 3rd star is for Rocky, the host with the most. My friend and I stopped to use the washroom and I decided I wanted to try a slice of pizza. We were on line when Rocky invited us to sit at the bar to order instead of waiting. He could sense our newness to this spot and was very welcoming. Rocky gave us good insight on what Artichoke's has to offer from a full bar menu, karaoke nights, and music on Fridays. His knowledge of the restaurant and BK in general was neat to hear. However, the pizza is 2 star quality. It wasn't very hot, barely warm honestly, and the crust was not only burnt, but so dense and tough from sitting under a heat lamp that I could pick up my huge square slice without it doing the classic pizza droop. My friend ordered a regular cheese slice, and was given pepperoni that he had to pick off. It's hard to find bad pizza, but Artichoke's made it easy.
Artichoke Pizza used to be my guilty pleasure, but not anymore. The dough is often undercooked and wildly disproportionate to the toppings. Expect a long wait for mediocrity and a very chewy bite.
Atmosphere was very cool. Small place but good vibes. The owner seems a bit strange though. Also had to ask service for my drink multiple times while the other 2 people I was with got their drinks almost immediately. The Pizza I ordered was delicious but the bread sticks left a lot to be desired. They had good marinara sauce though. Overall 3/5 stars. Good aspects that all come to a mediocre experience. Don't think it's worth the price unless you're talking about the pizza itself.
Delicious pizza, my only complaint is there delivery service, i’m a couple blocks away and pizza is freezing cold every time i order
Honestly I was disappointed in this. Pizza was floppy and salty to the point where I couldn’t taste any other ingredient. I also had a hole in my pizza 😒I’ve been eating at Artichoke for the last 10 years and never have I seen the quality go down that much. Sorry but I’m honest and you can’t do to a regular like me. Bring back your quality pies Artichoke.
At $3.95 for a basic slice this is a good but not a great slice. Overly sauced which I usually like but cheese was not melted and tasted eh. Crust was fine but an hour later felt why this wasn't a great choice. The second slice tried reheating at home but the cheese never melted. Will not return to what used to be a great slice. Maybe it's the location as 14th Street Union Square used to rock!!!
Massive slices to fulfill that 3am post-night-out craving! Definitely made sure I didn't forget my lactaid at home for this one aha What we got: - Artichoke Slices Final Thoughts: After a late Saturday night out, my friends and I joined the long line to grab our slices. The slices were massive and the sauce was practically dripping off each slice. This is definitely a messy one to eat and though I wish there was more cheese and less white cream sauce with some more color on top, this is definitely a classic way to end your night out.
Very nice looking pizza place from the outside, looks very refined and upscale from a first glance. Unfortunately the pizza itself doesn't really match the quality of the restaurant its served in. Pizza was cooked okay, but tasted really bland, and the wait staff seemed really preoccupied because they only checked our table to take our order, give us our pizza, and then take our payment. If you have money to burn, be prepared to spend it here, otherwise save yourself the trouble and find another cheaper, tastier pizza spot.
Of all the years of eating Artichoke pizza I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. I was very excited about my pizza. I took pictures and was geared up for a reel but when. I opened the box I was sorely disappointed. I was introducing my friend and mom to it for the first time and I had to promise them that this is not the usual quality of their food. I could barely chew the pizza and had to stop after a while..
It's the first time that I see a place charged two different prices for pizzas for takeout and dine in. We didn't realize it til later and they said the extra is service charge lol then they should make it clear on the menu that the fee is included in the price and no tips are needed. It felt like we just got fooled. The artichoke pizza was too salty and nothing too special either. The meatballs were good with the cheese and tomato sauce, but it's some kind of artificial meat. Overall this place is overpriced and not doing fair business.
I was very curious to try this. I tried the regular one ( spinach n cream sauce). The artichoke pieces were not so great in taste. The slice is bigger and pricier. The cream sauce they put was tasty. If you in a mood to experiment, try it. It’s different than the usual New York style pizza that you otherwise get in NYC. The washroom and takeout window here has a very unique graffiti and collage.
The pizza looks great when received, mouth watery even, but taste wise, unfortunately, was a different story. It did not taste fresh, and the artichoke version tasted watered down cheese and would not be able to ever order that ever again. The Staten Island ingredients didn't taste fresh. The meat was very bland and dry. The tomato paste tasted as if it expired almost like. The staff was friendly, overall needed to grab a drink to help water down the werid taste. Actually, it made me miss Domino's. If you're drinking heavily though, probably won't affect your taste buds, but definitely loved the outside seating area!

Overall the ingredients are ok and it'll do in a pinch, but the pizzas for delivery could be a bit sloppy and the pepperonis are very thick, so if you prefer thin, then not for you.
ambiance amazing, pizza alright at best and too salty for my taste. still great place for vibes tho
Honestly the bad service here ruined how great the pizza was. Showed up at 11:15 and was asked to leave and come back in an hour when the business hours state open at 11am. We came back at 12:30, employee served us with an attitude. Don't understand why ordering a slice of pizza would warrant the glaring, huffing and slamming my change back at me. We ate and then wanted to take 2 slices to go, and there was a fresh Vodka pizza out of the oven and was told I'd have to wait 20 min. We waited 20 min. walked up to the counter and the entire pizza was gone. Asked if there was anymore the guy simply said no. What was the point of making us wait 20 min to deny us?
My friends and I walked in and immediately got the nastiest of looks from this old white guy who I'm guessing is the owner. 6 of us walked in on my 3 of us ordered food. I ordered a pie to share …
I ordered for delivery and they gave me my pizza upside down it was a huge mess never again wasted $24

Genuinely some of the worst pizza I've had in NYC. Slices were fresh from the oven but nearly burnt on the bottom, felt like I was just eating tomato sauce on top of a cracker. No flavor to the pizza at all. Came here after a night of clubbing and I should have just gotten something from one of the many good food trucks on Wyckoff 😒
Got 2 regular slices there last night and it was absolutely mediocre. I understand their specialty is the artichoke slice, but we’re in NYC, and there’s no excuse for the quintessential regular slice to be this bad. I reluctantly finished one and threw the other one away.
PLEASE check on your staff and pizzas.. went to pickup at 9pm today, 01/11/22. Got artichoke, Sicilian, and pepperoni slices.. all super salty! Sicilian and pepperoni were somewhat edible, my bf threw out half of his second slice. But the artichoke whew.. like licking a rock off the Dead Sea, like inedible hurts the back of your throat salty. I already drank a bottle of water and as I’m typing this my throat still hurts from how salty it was. Please check on whoever made that sauce batch.. this time disappointed me for sure, including a photo to show how much of that slice I tried eating before giving up.
The "Crab" pizza is actually fake crab (fish), I'm allergic to fish but not crab so I had an allergic reaction (I'm ok...) but come on, it's not right to advertise fish pizza as crab pizza
Artichoke Pizza on Wyckoff Ave in Brooklyn was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the start, the security guard was aggressive and rude, refusing us entry even after my friend offered to finish his drink outside. It was clear his behavior wasn’t about the drink, but discrimination. The way he singled us out was racist, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. We left and will never return. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — there are plenty of pizzerias in NYC that treat people with respect.
I went here last weekend late on a Saturday night / Sunday morning night and ordered 2 slices of pizza which would have cost me roughly $13 after tax. Not only did it take almost 30 min but 2 days later I checked my card and they charged me $35. I advise the manager to review transaction records because this appears to be a scam. Will not be going back.
Paid $20 for two slices of pizza - that were on burn on the bottom and tasted old- plastic forks they use broke multiple times -and one fork broke in my mouth, almost swallowed the plastic piece and broke a tooth - the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere but when it comes to the food and utensils, it’s just a safety issue- I also watched the bartender take a sip of a person’s drink to taste test it before it went out 🫠
Last night at Artichoke Basile’s, my friends and I were denied entry and treated with aggression by the security guard. His actions were clearly discriminatory and based on our color, not our behavior. We were calm and respectful, yet met with hostility and exclusion. Racism has no place in hospitality, and this experience left us completely disappointed.
Witnessed very strange situation at this pizza restaurant a couple of days ago- the security guard refused entry to a group of people … without a reason, was sort of a “face-control” type of thing. This was very inappropriate and disappointing.
Owner was a jerk. Server gave us the wrong pizza and we were forced to pay for it anyways. Won’t be back soon.
Disappointed and Discriminated Against Last night at Artichoke Basile’s, my friends and I were denied entry based on an unfounded assumption that we were intoxicated. We were calm, respectful, and simply looking to enjoy a slice—but were met with judgment and exclusion. No one should be treated unfairly based on appearance or vibe. Discrimination has no place in hospitality, and this experience left a bitter taste that no pizza could fix.
I wouldn’t recommend going here, they don’t care about their customers. I went inside on a rainy day to order pizza to go. They said I had to go to there take out window outside in the pouring rain to order my pizza. I said can I just have that whole pizza pie right there in the show case to go, he said he can’t do that, that’s not how it works, to go outside in the pouring rain to order. No awning. No excuse for being treated like this. Chefs kiss, I walked out. And got “slices and sodas@ down the block. Wont go back 👎
The worst experience at Artichoke Basille’s Pizza (Wyckoff Ave, Brooklyn). Last night I went with a group of friends, and from the very first moment the security guard at the door treated us with an extremely rude and unpleasant attitude. As soon as we arrived, without even greeting us, he immediately barked that we couldn’t bring any drinks inside. One of my friends calmly explained that it wasn’t a problem and that he would finish his drink outside before coming in (and it wasn’t even alcohol, it was just juice). Still, the guard refused to let us in. When I personally spoke to him to clarify the situation, he simply said that we would not be allowed to enter and claimed that “we looked like a group of drunks,” which was completely false and offensive. I don’t drink alcohol at all, and everyone in our group was perfectly fine. On top of that, he spoke horribly to our female friends who were visiting New York. The way he judged us was completely discriminatory and, in my personal opinion, racist. He denied us entry with no valid reason, only out of prejudice. It makes no sense that in an area full of bars where most people stop by for pizza after drinking we, who were not drunk at all, were treated this way. 👉 This place seriously needs to reconsider who they hire as security, because this type of treatment completely ruins the experience. I will never return, and I strongly recommend avoiding this spot, as they discriminate and unfairly judge people.
The waiter was rude she lucky she was a women. First the pizza for a slice is almost $10.00 which is fine your price is your price , So I should have it how and whatever I want on it. I could not eat because I was told they only use heavy sauce on the pizza which is something I don't eat. Once I told the waitress thats not something I eat she had a attitude. Very unprofessional. I heard her being rude as well at the next table just her tone and body language disgusting. Imagine eating a pizza with this much sauce this is not my picture below , but this shows you how messy and how much sauce they use. Its just a thick heavy chunky sauce not my preference especially not for 8.89 FAZIO PIZZA is the best in Brooklyn try them.
My friends and I walked in and immediately got the nastiest of looks from this old white guy who I'm guessing is the owner. 6 of us walked in on my 3 of us ordered food. I ordered a pie to share with my girltriend and the pizza was mediocre for the price. Hospitality was genuinely terrible all my friends and I felt rushed and unwanted, l've read other reviews and a lot of them agree with what I am writing today. The bill came for the pizza I got and he charged me and only me for a party of 6+ tax but 3 of my friends who were part of the "6" ordered their own food but got no 6+ feee? And then I paid 30 sum dollars with the tax and everything for mediocre pizza, no flavor, overcooked and all in all disappointing for the price I paid. and we kept getting told "u need to buy something to use these chairs" but really he gave us 5 minutes or less to look at the menu and half of the group was in the bathroom, and when my gf asked to get water he pressured my gf and her friend to get something else kept pushing that "chairs for business" or wtv it is. Nonetheless all my friends and I felt rushed and unwanted right as soon as we walked in the doors literally just looking for something to eat. Really disappointing and even a little discouraging to show love and support to other local pizzerias, I've genuinely had a better time and experience at a run down mill in the middle of a 3rd world country than I did here.
You can’t have delicious food and then not seal the boxes for delivery. It’s a food safety issue. No one knows what anyone does with your food once it leaves with the delivery person. Tape up the boxes. I called and you said you tape up the boxes. The food arrived completely unsealed. I called you back and you said you forgot to tape it. Yes, I got a refund but the poor delivery person didn’t get their tip. Please.
Such a bad experience, we heard such great things about the pizza, but no customer service. Waitress told us to sit down and she will take our order. It felt odd... we sat down and she continued her conversation. We ended up leaving. Will try another day....
2/8/2026 Sunday / Weather 12 degree. I used to like hanging out at this place because the service used be good and good drinks and foods! Unfortunately I had a terrible customer service today. I went to pick up my order and there were only two customers inside. The waitress (first time I saw her) kept insisting that I had to get my pizza from outside. I was even planning to order an extra pizza, but she told me I had to wait outside because it was “takeout only from the window outside" Are you serious? It was freaking cold today, there was no line outside, and the place wasn’t crowded at all. This place also has a bar and plenty of space to wait inside. Zero flexibility or consideration. Maybe she was just following the rules, but there was absolutely no courtesy. I would definitely understand her saying if the weather was okay and crowded inside! What if the customer were elderly? Even I was thinking to order a beer while I'm waiting but as soon as she said I gotta go outside to order and pick up. It turned me off! Very disappointing experience.
The pizza is alright. It’s pizza and NYC is full of gems and I cannot see how they reasonably justify that ONE SLICE is $9!! There are so many better options but $45 for a whole pie is plain greed and should not be supported.
The bouncers at the front of house during the evening service are extremely rude & aggressive. I ordered a slice from the pickup counter outside, and I when I went inside to wash my hands, the bouncer told me no because the bathroom was full. I saw the person using the bathroom leave, so I asked again if I can go wash my hands because the person using the bathroom left. The bouncer then said I wasn't allowed to use the bathroom because the toilet was broken. I told him I just need to use the sink to wash my hands and that he did not need to be rude, at which point he got extremely aggressive and kept trying to goad me into a fight, and I had to go somewhere else just to wash my hands. For context, this happened a few months ago but the experience still sticks with me as it was the worst I have been treated by any restaurant staff. While this was the most extreme experience, every time I have visited before this, the staff here seems to constantly have an attitude towards you if you order a slice and then ask to use the bathroom. If you serve greasy pizza then don't get upset when paying customers need to wash their hands. There are plenty of other pizza places serving better food and who actually value their paying customers. Don't waste your money here, I would never visit this location ever again.
Hello, I want to share my experience at this pizzeria. I have been visiting this place for 5 years and I even have pictures from many of the times I’ve come here. This past weekend I went with my husband, our best friend, her mom, and her sister. We always choose a table and the service is usually excellent, especially from an older gentleman, I believe he is from Puerto Rico, who is always very kind, and another gentleman who welcomes customers, who is also very attentive. The reason I am writing this review is because this time I was very surprised by the service. We ordered meatballs, but they were served frozen. We politely asked the waitress if she could heat them up. She came back with the plate boiling hot, but with a very bad attitude. My husband was the one trying the meatballs, and he noticed they did not taste like real meat. They tasted like a substitute, more like vegan meat, so he left the entire plate. In the end, we paid for the large pizza and other items, but when I told the waitress that the meatballs did not taste like meat, she responded with a mocking attitude, rolling her eyes and saying, “Those are meatballs, can’t you see?” I understand that we all can have a bad day, but her behavior was very unpleasant. I want to clarify that I will return, because I like the pizza, and I plan to speak directly with the owner, who I believe is one of the two kind gentlemen I mentioned earlier. I am a chef, and I can assure you that those meatballs were not real meat. I’m writing this as a warning for other customers: please double-check if you order that dish. As for the service, if the same waitress serves me again, I will leave the table. Normally I am generous with tips, but this time I left the minimum because I did not feel comfortable.
