I really loved the bar. Cheap but good beer, great atmosphere, you could just sit by yourself and read with a beer or meet new people depending on your mood. I was on vacation, staying in the neighborhood and it just felt like my local bar back in my city. I've been there 3 or 4 times the 10 days I spent in Brooklyn so you could tell I really loved the place.

One of my favorite bars in New York City. Experienced bartenders, good vibes, and drinks not to expensive. It’s cash only, which makes it cheaper and adds to the vibes in my opinion. I’m not single, but if you’re dating you should 100% take folks here.

This is the greatest dive bar ever! Good values a necessity, but also very cool kitschy stuff - ducks, ducks and more ducks. But the giant windows and ample space makes this great. "So much room for activities". The crowd was cool, the bartender cool, the space is cool. Great space, great place, enjoy

Dropped in for a drink w my friend on Tuesday evening at 6pm. There weren't any signs up advertising happy hour specials or anything, but prices were pretty decent. They have bunch of beer + shot deals. Friend got the high life + whiskey shot ($8) and I got the Guinness + Jameson shot ($12). Vaccination proof was checked, which is great. It wasn't crowded, just what looked to be a bunch of regulars hanging out at the bar and one lone bartender working. Nice chill place to hang before dinner in the area. Cash only!

Great space, reasonable drinks, chill bar tenders. Awesome when it's not a menagerie of hot-headed un-tucked oxford button-downs vying for attention. But yeah, it turns into that at night. Good first stop for the night.

Bad service, the bartender is super rude, the surveillance person is super rude they don’t respect the schedule it says on Google or Yelp they ask you for a tip but they serve you very badly It’s not a place where I would return

this was one of my absolute favorite bars until i encountered a really rude bar tender (shorter woman with long black hair). My friend and i sat in with our food because it was raining. We were about to order drinks before she passive aggressively demanded us to order something rudely. I understand the issue; however, she just came about the situation extremely rudely and unpleasantly. So i obliged anyways and ordered a drink. I then asked "Sorry but were we supposed to order sooner" then she started arguing about how we didn't order anything because we were trying to eat our dinner there, implying we were freeloading (after i ordered a drink) and how i didn't tip which i was about to until that really rude response. I work in the service industry so i understand; however, how she presented the situation and how she reacted was awful. She thought i was trying to underpay or to freeload when I was just visiting and trying to relax after an extremely heavy rain (the bar was empty). She kept arguing and demanded i finished my drink (i know this sounds made up and so silly but it quite literally happened). She told the bodyguard and even he was confused. I would never come back again not because of the overall bar but because the bartender was very hostile and rude for no reason. Most of the bartenders are really cool but she was just nasty and just plain ridiculous. (i wish i got her name specifically) update: The bartender is named Maribelle!
