Opiniones de Footprints Café Brooklyn
Stephanie was my server. She was attentive and amazing! She even concocted a special drink for me.. The food was 10/10 I had the oxtails, which she persuaded me to get instead of my normal sides. Happy Customer! See yall soon again.
While in Brooklyn for my family’s wake, I decided to stop by Footprints Restaurant—and I’m glad I did. The food was flavorful and well-prepared. I ordered the popular honey garlic wings along with the snapper filet served with rice and peas, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great dining experience overall.
Stephanie was great! It was my friends Birthday and they helped bring it in extra special
I took my mom and mother in law today for brunch after church the service was excellent. I will be returning again . We all complemented our waiter. Great service Tremaine. You deserve a bonus for your excellent service. Thank you for making us feel welcome from beginning to end. God bless you.
Food delicious, atmosphere good chill vibes, good reggae music not too loud so you can have conversation with ya peoples. Last minute looking for food at 11 30, no wait to be seated and again the food was delicious. Had the "Brooklyn " drink from their menu. That was hit 👍🏽
Love love love the food, Tuesday Comedy night's are great and Basil the chef is extraordinary .... where did they find a man with such culinary art skills 01/03/2025 Came back several times but today was even better, the server Stephanie was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
Finally I was able to visit the famous Footprints 👣 (Home of the Rasta Pasta) and of course I couldn't come here and don't try it. I had an amazing experience, my server was Tremaine, and Chef Errol personally brought the meal to my table and took the time to take a picture with me before finishing his shift. ❤️ I felt so special. By the way the Meal was without doubt excellent and the Virgin Daiquiri.
Stephanie our server was excellent. She was attentive to all of our needs and made sure to come over multiple times to ask us if we needed anything.
I have gone to this restaurant several times and they haven't disappointed me yet their food is amazing. I usually get stew chicken rasta pasta. I would suggest going Monday- Thursday because Friday-Sunday is very busy and croweded. I feel like the quality and quantity is better on the weekday versus the weekend. Their happy hour is Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm which I think is amazing. Their drinks are really good I usually get the sangria. In the pictures you will see stew chicken rasta pasta, chicken and shrimp Rasta pasta, oxtail Rasta pasta, fried bread fruit, and wings. I would definitely recommend this restaurant the food is great and their staff are very friendly.
Amazing bartenders! Especially Yanique, romar and server kayla are highly recommend. Very friendly, and always accommodating. Always a welcoming smile on their faces. I am always welcome at Fp.
Beautiful ambience, strong drinks, the server was overworked and tried her best, but wasn,t the nicest. She did try towards the end of the evening. The food was so so and very expensive, we had king fish and breadfruit, jerk, salmon and shrimp with breadfruit and chicken roti which was salty and the graciously made a new one. We had drinks and three appetizers, plus two Ting. Which came to a grand total of almost $63 pp for some small plates
I ordered all large plates, to my surprise the oxtail, rice and peas was amazingly priced! All of the food from the oxtail, brown stew chicken, curry chicken, and roti tasted amazing. I will definitely be back!
Hung out with a friend. The food was delicious and the drinks on point. The service was great. Yanique was very hospitable. I will definitely recommend.
"Footprints Restaurant delivers an exceptional Caribbean dining experience. I indulged in the snapper stew, accompanied by a delightful salad, while my companion savored the salmon with rice and peas – both dishes bursting with authentic flavors. The drinks were strong and perfectly complemented our meal. Our server, Stephanie, was a true gem, demonstrating unparalleled hospitality and attention to detail throughout our dining experience. Footprints Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Caribbean cuisine served with impeccable service."
"Jamaican food" you can't go wrong! Every dish was delicious, right amount of spice and the drinks were strong and not watered down unlike some restaurants. Everything is authentic here. Wait time is long but so worth it. Went here a second time for dinner, the food is still amazingly delicious that my friend ordered two extra meals to go. Looking forward to 3rd & 4th visit. The wait time is long but it's worth it.
What an amazing experience!! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcomed by Simone. The service Stephanie provided was exceptional!! Prompt to answer our questions. Our meals.... WOW!!!! Oxtail with rice & peas and the chicken rasta pasta were out of this world!! Hats off to the chef(s)!! We will make another trip from Canada for sure!!
The food and atmosphere is always great. I ordered take out after leaving the labor day parade and my salmon was missing from the order. I live in connecticut so I called the next day to see if my money would be reimbursed. Two days later the money was back in my account. I recommend Footprints Cafe any time your in BK.🇧🇧
I was invited to this place a few weeks ago. It looks like a whole in the wall but the food is delicious with generous serving size. They also offer fruit juices. The Caribbean music in the background makes it lively. I have been back again. Always busy. On street parking available.
My friends and I from Miami were visiting Coney Island for the first time and we arrived as they were getting ready to close. I’m so used to Miami that I expected them to turn us away or give us rude service for delaying their closure but instead Marco and Nika provided a five star service. The food and drinks were top notch. Thank you !!!!!!! You guys were amazing.
We showed up just as Footprint Café was about to close, but instead of turning us away they welcomed our party of six with open arms. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The food was fresh and flavorful the Rasta Pasta was absolutely to die for! Big thanks to the team for taking care of us when they didn’t have to. This spot has heart, flavor, and great vibes. Highly recommend! I’ll make sure my Arizona family knows about this place. I’ll will definitely let my Arizona people know about this place when they visit Brooklyn.
A coworker had recommended Footprints to me & I’ll have to thank him tomorrow. I went there for lunch & enjoyed their Rasta Pasta dish which it is known for. I meant to order the jerk shrimp as an appetizer but it topped the Rasta Pasta & to my surprise it was amazing. I wasn’t sure how the spices from the shrimp would taste with the mild cheesy sauce but it was delicious. The waitress taking care of me was very polite & helpful. I choose to dine outdoors since it was a gorgeous day & had the pleasure of conversing with one of the chefs who stepped outside for a moment. They had a nice variety of nonalcoholic beverages & since I was driving I decided to try one the waitress recommended: pineapple passion & it was very good. For dessert I went with the Red Velvet Cake & though it may look small it was rich & extremely filling, not to mention delicious. I can’t wait to go back.
The food here is soooooo damn good!! Good Caribbean tunes playing as well. I came here over the weekend for a lil pre game meal. I’ve been here a few times for take out over the yrs, so I was happy to finally get a chance to dine in for a change. They still make one of the best pina coldas!! Can’t wait to pop back in for another meal. Good customer service too!
Yessssss. Just yes! The restaurant is not huge but nicely porportioned and clean. I mesn even the bthrm was warm, welcoming, clean and smell good with the candle burning. The food was delicious, adult beverages on point and service was immaculate. We didn't wait an ungodly amount of time to be seated, or for appetizers and entrées either. In fact, my entrée must've come out too early, and it seemed as though our server, Nakita, spotted it from across the establishment. Immediately she came over, offering to take it back to the kitchen; later when she noticed we'd placed the appetizers aside, she offered a to go box, wrapped it for us and the main courses came right out! I had a fresh plate piping hot. She was exceptional in tending to us without our asking for anything. 💕 Will definitely return.
Food is amazing here and the drinks are too. This is my favorite location. Today (Sunday) it was pretty empty. So the service was fast and very quiet inside.
My family and I tried Footprints on Clarendon road for dinner during our vacation in Brooklyn in August '24. The food was tasty and excellent. We had the snapper, seafood and Rasta Pasta dinners. T…
I enjoyed my curry shrimp, my boyfriend enjoyed his fish, the server Stephanie is amazing the service is incredible
Shondell was great when I visited footprints. Her hospitality made the experience better. The food is always great and the music was a good vibe.
Loved the oxtail and the portions are huge. Got this for delivery so can't speak to anything about the ambiance. No notes!
It's always a great time here during happy hour. Great drinks. Large portions and economical prices. Love this footprints!!!
I love the food the service was good especially the snapper. I had to go see who cooked that snapper and the salon. The Calamari was really good and the drinks

Food was great, fish was delicious and well cooked/seasoned ; decent establishment for a first date; music was kind of loud; waitress was great as well;
Food was great, music and vibe good. The service was efficient and our waitress was good but the attitude of some of the staff was terrible and quite rude.
This was my first visit and I will be here again in the next couple weeks. The vibe was cool. Music played in the background and there are TVs throughout the restaurant. My server, Tremaine, was amazing--super courteous, helpful and funny. The cocktail menu is extensive with so many choices. The table sizes are very fair. The restaurant has both tables and booths. I started with a new appetizer, ackee and salt fish spring rolls. They came with two sauces which complemented the rolls very well. I already knew that I was going to have the rasta pasta for the main course and enjoyed it. It can be ordered with a good variety of meats. There are also veggie and tofu options. I was there on a Tuesday after around 4 PM and didn't have to wait for a table for two. My only issue was the AC was on very high and I was freezing. I recommend this establishment.
The food was great! The staff was friendly. The drink our guest of honor had was good. The only complaints would be that the wait times are extreme and the air conditioning was turned off at some point in the August heat. The rasta pasta creamy sauce mixed with jerk seasoning was tasteful. I would have it again! Takeout is available.
HI Guys, This restaurant had little to no parking. We had to park in the McDonalds parking lot just to get in. Once inside the restaurant was small-ish. There was seating by the bar, off to the side by the entrance, and outside patio. They required COVID cards to dine in. We ordered our food to go. We ordered the oxtails and rasta pasta and jerk chicken. I think the food was tasty. But the oxtails was a bit savory sweet.... I think they would have been much better if they were offered spicy. Otherwise the oxtails were tender and seasoned well. The pasta was nice too. Visited: 12/01/21
The food was top of the line truly authentic jamaican cuisine. Started off with wings and bammi it was delicious. I had the rasta pasta with grilled salmon. The rasta pasta was the best I've ever had however I would truly have to pass permanently on the salmon. My sister had the grilled snapper w bammi the snapper was not seasoned. The oxtail was delicious but the rice was overcooked. The mac and cheese although the noodles were boiled 10 minutes too long the flavor was Devine. I can not give a 5 star because the service was horrible. Waited 20 minutes for the waiter samantha then she kept forgetting to put in orders. The mango margarita was right on point. My biggest complaint was the time to wait just to get food and for waiter to return. Although the fish was gross I would definitely return just wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
You kinda get what you get here at Footprints. It’s a toss up usually and not really consistent when it comes to food preparation or even service. Don’t come here for nothing too fancy, expect a few hiccups along the way, (please) don’t show up starving to death and you will be fine. I always get breadfruit when I come and love that they have it on the menu. Had to send back my fish curry and roti because it was way too fishy for my taste. Kept it rolling with some apps which always hit the spot (except the crab cakes, skip those). The drinks are strong which is good but not “hand crafted” more like all inclusive resort style where everything is sweet. I recommend sharing because dinner dishes are larger portion and their prices aren’t exactly cheap.
The food was great. I didn't like the fact that we were seated near the kitchen - I kept smelling fish ( and not in a good way). The server got my first drink wrong. Not sure how since I had ordered the same drink as my friend, just in a different flavor. She said she didn't get my accent... I have a a Brooklyn accent ordering in a Brooklyn restaurant. But my drink was quickly replaced, so no complaints there. For our next drink, we had asked out server about drink recommendations, and I got the impression that she was telling us anything to get us to buy. The recommended drink turned out to be stronger than what we would had liked, so it took us a while to finish. Would love to come back again - just need to make sure we order the right drinks.
My BF took me here for lunch/dinner on Sunday, even though I’ve been before it was still nice. The service was good, the food was good, the staff was very friendly and fun to converse with. His Rasta pasta was delicious... my brown stew fish and shrimp combo was good, I also had a side of the macaroni pie, suggested by the waitress, it was okay. Will go back, really chill environment on a Sunday. 👌🏾
Footprints is always a good vibe between the music live or just playing in the background and for those who like sports. The food can be hit or miss. Sometimes being too salty. The mixed drinks lean toward being too sweet (at least for my taste). The service is good.
1st time here but i liked it. They know how to take care of people. A small mishap happened with the soup being salty and they remedied that quickly. Brought my aunt and sister to celebrate their bday and they were treated like queens. They got sang to and they got cake. Portion sizes were big and delicious. Vibes very caribbean and i love it. Definatelly going back when i visit nyc.
I am not too fond of Footprints at this location after three recent visits. The food is alright depending on what you are ordering. I gave 4 stars due to the jerk salmon that tastes so good. Their service needs an upgrade, and the staff needs more training in hospitality. Since I'm a food lover, I'll check out the other locations and give my review. Hopefully, they will not disappoint.
EDITED after other visits I do not recommend the crab cakes. It’s imitation crab meat. Well seasoned but a bit spicy 🌶️ The red snapper was just like it’s always been. Very good. NEW ON THE MENU - Lamb 🐑 chops. Well seasoned and cooked well This place has always been a good eating spot. The staff has always been understanding and knowledgeable about the menu. Things are a bit different since the pandemic but the rice & peas is the same. The grilled fish was tough like bark but the sauce was on point. I had the coconut curry snapper. It was light on the curry and even lighter on the coconut but it had flavor so it still passes The alcoholic beverages were on point. That has not changed. I still gave them 4 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of my previous experience
Sometimes they make me happy, and sometimes they make me a little sad--but overall, they keep me coming back.\n\nThe rasta pasta is really good and not spicy. It becomes perfectly creamy once you mix…

food is good however they've increased pricing but decreased the portion size. Oxtail rasta pasta is $28 with 5 smail oxtail. food is not worth the price.

Good little restaurant food is ok can be salty at times. Atmosphere is nice try it for own experience
Sooooo. They were short staffed, and everything took a long time. We got there at 10 to 3 and didn't get pur food to about 430. We waited about 10 mins to be seated. Another 15 mins to order all of our food. It was about 45-50 mins to get our food. Which didn't make sense bc everything should have been cooked. Mac and cheese, oxtail rice and peas. The only items that needed to be made was the fish and shrimp. Which should only take about 15 mins bc you don't want to over cook them. Anyway food was good. But definitely not worth the wait.
Wish the waitress smiled and made the experience better. She just did her job , but also the seating i was given was near the walkway in which people bumped it repeatedly because of the small space . If you come here for just the food , it’s definitely 5 stars ! Great ! This Footprints 👣 is for the younger / party crowd . Very loud music and not kid friendly. Teens or older is definitely the vibe. Prices are reasonable . About $30 is good per person to come here and eat a great meal. In the picture is an order of seasoned fries, Rasta pasta, one plate with What’s suppose to be salmon fried, one plate with steak and shrimps. The drinks are fruit punch and lemonade both had a bad after taste but is great going down. Lastly Red velvet cake which wasn’t rich and fluffy , but more like stale and heavy.
Food was ok. Music was great! Service took long, strong drinks. Long, long wait. My friend told the guy, not to make the drinks too strong. And then it was very strong. Then, was told they do not do return or refund. 🤔 jerk wings was very flavorful. Good portion size. I have had better.
Whenever I am in the area I order pickup. Labor day weekend ordered, my husband went to pickup. they forgot to add my drink, I called and got a very rude manager on the phone who told me to call come back or call doordash. now doordash was provided by their company so I was unable to report. Please use the $10 and send the manager to an customer service class. She needs it.
The food is consistently good but eat/snack before you go for everything takes long: the wait to be seated, the drinks, the food, the bill. The space is small and tight on the inside and can get noisy too. The outside is nicely decorated and more spacious but not suitable for this cold weather.
I had the roti and I got sick badly the same night and into the next day. However, the service and fish fingers were great! The vibe in there is cozy and casual for a date night. Overall, if I didn't get sick from the food from that night and the allergic reactions from other foods in there I would have given it a great review.
Great to have Uber eats deliver. The cheesecake looks and taste like regular cake with pineapple pieces or something else. Perhaps a mixup. Delicious creamy rasta pasta but the BBQ chicken was hard rough and next day was papery. Please cook that chicken some other way! Absolutely love the Caribbean salad with fresh fruits like mango and veggies.
Over 5 years since I visited this location and there's an updated menu and you feel a little crammed next to the table and guest beside you. If you put your arm out, you would be touching the other person. The food was decent. The chicken tender appetizer can be shared as you can see but can be a meal for one person. It was a beautiful presentation but the escovitch style was not there. It was still tasty as crispy chicken by itself. The new menu item was the thai fried rice with your choice from a list on proteins. I selected oxtail. It was good but a little greasy. I can't recommend this location without trying other menu items.
Known for its Rasta pasta, Footprints is a BK staple. There is no parking aside from street parking. The interior is small and cozy with a bar in the center of the action. It almost feels like the kitchen is bigger than the dining area. The pasta is always good and tasty. Can’t go wrong with that most times and usually the portions yield enough for leftovers. The brown tea chicken is tender and not dry. More than can said for the rice & peas. This day was not the best and seemed like the rice was sitting around for hours, uncovered even. My festival was hot and made fresh. However, the cod fritters were nothing special. The cocktails were okay. The FMR and rum punch were selected this day. Watch for the extra ice they use in each glass. Classic restaurant with lots of returning guests. Mid-week service is lacking in such a small establishment that was not packed. We saw our server a few times and the other staff way more frequently that were attentive.
Footprints always has good food. The service is just very poor. Had to flag down the waiter. They always have an attitude too.

The food and drinks came out extremely slow. Appetizers were cold. Main dish was good and thankfully hot. I give the main dish the shrimp and steak fried rice a 4. Appetizers and wait time a 1.5 or 2 at best. We won’t be coming back to this location. The fried rice for my brother and I was the only saving grace.
Two Major issue, the curry was salted and the jerk very black, burnt, the roti was warm in the microwave as you began eating the rest of it becomes stiff. The other is individuals ordering inside can be waiting for more than an hour. Perhaps the support of many has cause the owner strive to improve the one has to wait on the food. My suggestion to owner improve the waiting time for customers coming in by having two of your chef and server deal with those customers and the other three to four chef deal with the online. Yes you’re making the money but it would be very welcoming by customers if you do something to improve service. Your customers has rallied with you for number of year I have been here more thann 20 mins the people I met here has not been served or collected their food and over 20 uber meals have taken up their food.
We dined at Footprints Cafe last evening it was the longest dinner experience ever. Most of our time was spent waiting, waiting for seats, waiting for drinks, waiting for food, waiting to pay. I ordered a medium ribeye steak and shrimps I tasted more burn than flavor. We always had to be searching for our server. A great disappointing evening.
Not giving a low review because of the food or the vibes. But I ordered for pick up online and the confirmation said my order would be ready 8:30-8:40, gave them the grace of not checking until 8:40, they didn’t even start on our order. Order wasn’t ready at 9:24pm. Spoke to manager she talking about grub hub doesn’t always tell them when they accept orders. Ok give you a pass for technical glitch but not even a cup of soup was offered and when asked it was denied. Like come on. You guys clearly busy enough to be 40 minutes behind orders you can give costumer a freakin cup of soup when your system messed up on the order and couldn’t deliver as promised. It’s really simple. Either don’t sign up for so many online options or be prepared to repair the damage from a mess up. Hope the food is worth the wait 🤞🏾
After hearing so much hype about Footprints and their legendary rasta pasta, I was really looking forward to finally trying it. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, and the salmon—though I requested it grilled and medium—arrived well done and covered in sauce I didn’t ask for. When I asked the waitress about it, she started listing flavors, and right then I had a feeling it wasn’t going to hit. Sadly, I was right—the food was kind of bland and lacked the bold, vibrant flavors I was expecting. Service was just okay. Nothing memorable. And to top it all off, I had to carry my leftovers out in my hand—no bag offered. Really wanted to love it, but overall, it just didn’t deliver.
I called in a take out order for my wife and I 45min before arriving. Upon arrival after paying they informed me my food would take an additional 5 min. (Due to me ordering seafood Rasta Pasta) After 30 min I finally received my food. My wife’s order was to her liking. My on the other hand received a bowl of soup with Pasta and undercooked seafood. After a few bites, my stomach was in knots. This is not the first time I’ve gotten bad food and service from them. I will not be returning.
I ordered a brown stew snapper with white rice. Instead I was given rice and peas( terrible). Secondly this fish was full of sweetener (maybe sugar) too sweet. Im so disappointed. I don't understand …

Just eagerly opened my food and got this! Uncooked fish after waiting more than an hour. This is what I get for supporting people from my own background and culture. Oh and bad service when I called in. Called and asked for a manager "Terry" claimed there was no manager available. Left my number lets see if they call back. Oh and when she answered she was too busy laughing to say hello....
I ordered a grilled chicken salad . My grilled chicken was under cooked . I saw pink when I cut into the chicken . I showed the waitress the pink meat . She said “Oh no “. She took the plate to the kitchen .I spoke to the manager . She never apologized . She just gave me 1 free drink .
They mixed up my order and there was a side that was missing. The steamed fish was raw. Overall, out of the three meals ordered only one was correctly done. On addition the customer service is terrible! If you’re ordering on any restaurant platforms (UberEats, DoorDash etc) don’t. Order in person because that is the only way to hold them immediately accountable.
The absolute worst customer service. I ordered wings to go after eating there last night and I received shrimp. I'm allergic to seafood so I gave it away so it doesn't go to waste. They refuse to give me what I paid for or my money back because a picture of what is obviously their food and my receipt apparently isn't enough to prove that they didn't give me what I ordered. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered told me it could be any food. She left me on hold to speak to the manager who backed her up. It blows my mind that they think this is some elaborate plan to scam them out of a plate of wings. I simply want what I paid for. I had plans to go back on Friday with family from out of town but I will literally take them to McDonald's next door before setting foot in any Footprint restaurant again. A restaurant without good customer service is not worth the food. There are so many other options in NYC for good food that comes with good service.
Terrible Management will be the downfall of this restaurant. I've been to Footprints many times and the food is always to die for. The takeout line on the other hand, is always an experience in itself. They will tell you 30 minutes over the phone but you can get there an hour and a half later and bet your life you will still have to wait because food will still not be ready. With no apology given. The girls behind the take out counter are always attitudinal and unapologetic when customers are not satisfied or have a complaint. I recently wanted to place an order for pick up and was placed on hold for over 40 minutes before someone came back only to hang up. I called back and asked to speak with a manager. Someone named Adelle (if that was even her real name) came on the line and was EVEN MORE RUDE than the workers. She was argumentative and downright DISGUSTING, accused me of lying about being on hold, offered no apology and was the rudest person Ive ever spoken to. Never again. Footprints just lost a loyal customer. Along with my friends and family.
Paid 30 dollars for a basic bland oxtail rasta pasta. That i waited almost 30 min for. Small portion. Feel like i got robbed, never again.
so my bf order the buffalo shrimp and what was suppose to be jerk chicken and peas and rice I was so excited to eat this but my mood changed real fast. The shrimp was 6 pieces and it was way to salty I could barely eat it and it was 7.95.Then the tenders or the strips of chicken was not hot and it was burnt. The food was suppose to be a large but look like a small never again because they obviously rush this and didn't care.WASTE OF 21.45 plus delivery so $25
My experience with ordering food from footprints was disgusting. I ordered my food at 7:24, I didn’t receive it until 9:45 and it wasn’t even worth the wait. I ordered a brown stew fish with white rice, the food was cold, the rice was clumpy and the fish nah nuh taste not to mention the food wasn’t presentable. It’s not even worth the one star. — Annoyed customer
Absolutely terrible experience. The food was decent, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The service was unbelievably slow — we waited far too long for everything, from being seated to getting our food and even receiving the check. To make matters worse, the staff were shockingly rude. From the moment I walked in, they acted with an attitude, as if customers were a nuisance. The manager was just as unprofessional — dismissive and completely lacking in basic courtesy. No matter how good the food is, there’s no excuse for treating people this way. I’ll never be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values respectful service and efficiency.
DO NOT BRING KIDS!!! I called BEFORE COMING and asked if it was safe for kids on a Monday at 6:30pm. They said yes. WRONG!!! my son whose 6 wa sitting across the table from me saw the TV facing him and says "mommy this is not appropriate for kids" when I looked I saw BUTTS HANGING WINING AND GRINDING and VIDEOS with scenes of nudity!!! DISGUSTING!!! HORRIBLE!!!! The manager said it was Karaoke night... But since when did Karaoke had to be NASTY!? I saw a mother coming with kid and told her ... CAUTY: If that child don't have a tablet or something GET OUT THIS RESTAURANT... NOT SAFE FOR KIDS
I just received an order from uber eats and my food is absolutely terrible. The macaroni is overcooked, some of the oxtail is tough. This food came to too much money for this garbage. I haven't ordered from here in a while, but when I did it was great. I'm not sure what has happened but they need to do better because they have a great reputation.
Footprints,What’s going on with this location? You were one of my favorite go to Caribbean restaurants in the Tri-State(NY,NJ,CT). You open your doors at schedule time but preparing the restaurant while you have customers waiting to be seated. On top of that, there were flies everywhere during my dine in. My family and I were finally seated, the waitress greeted us with Happy Mother’s Day (5/8/2022)to the mothers I was with. We placed our order,at 11:18am and got our food nearly 12:08pm. While we were waiting for our food, three flies dropped dead next to us. The waitress had to come clean it up. Horrible. Our food was finally coming out, they were bringing the food five minutes apart, why I don’t know and I didn’t like that. So, a fly dropped dead on my family plate, I was not happy at all,the waitress seen me reaching for my phone, and she quickly grab the plate before I could take a photo of it. I know we have our bad days sometimes, but footprints, please fix these minor issues/problems before a great business/restaurant goes downhill. I doubt I’ll return to this location any time soon and or at all. Come to this location at your own risk.
⭐ 1 star I had a really disappointing experience at Footprints on Clarendon Road. I waited over 30 minutes for my escovitch fish, and when it finally came out, it was cold. The waitress and the cook were both rude, and I actually saw them just throw my food into the to-go plate with no care at all. The service felt completely disrespectful, and the food didn’t make up for it. I won’t be coming back
