This is the only Chinese Food Place My Family And I eat from, We know her for over 30yrs. And till this present day. I don't eat any other Chinese but this GREAT WALL On 8th ave 49st. you get hot fresh food, all the time. The Family Is Awesome no matter if you inside or outside the Resturaunt they say hello to you. I remember when I was Pregnant with my Daughter all I ate was Rib tips Fried Rice yes you guessed from Great Wall on 8th ave 49st.. Well if you are from out of town or around the way and you want fresh hot Chinese Food You Can Trust Count On this Resturaunt, GREAT WALL ON 49ST 8TH AVE. BROOKLYN.

Ordered the Roast pork with eggplant. Good portion, excellent flavor. Good service. Would recommend giving them a try.

Me and my family have ordered food from this place for over 10 years. The lady has always been kind toward us and already knows our orders. The chicken is always crispy and the rice has a good texture and is overall enjoyable. My usual meal is rice with boneless or sweet and sour chicken and I've never had any issues. I'd recommend this place no problem.

This is a really affordable, fast and tasty neighborhood spot. The woman who works at the counter is very nice, I always tip her because she does great service. highly recommend if you need a tasty quick meal.

On my NY trip i really wanted to try some of NY's best Chinese food and i just happened upon this place. The wait was a little long for my food but it was only a little over $8 compared to the $10+ I usually have to pay in FL for comparable food. Also i wasnt super hungry so i waited until i got back to my hotel room to eat the food and it was still very good. Also the lady who takes the orders, etc was nice enough as well.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. A very sweet and polite lady that answers the phone had even asked if my family and i were doing alright after the first year that covid hit us. VERY SWEET, VERY HUMBLE AND CARING. You definitely get a bang for the buck, they aren't cheap with food and will fill the container to the top. I love them. ❤️

Going to keep it short and sweet, broccoli good texture, shrimp cooked to ideal firmness and temperature, rice exactly what I expect of fried rice, customer service polite and humble, store cleanliness well maintained, quantity of food was more than filling and left me satisfied from a night of party. Definitely recommend to eat however restaurant showed me little to make me say wow into a five star.

A bit busy at 8pm. Order sweet and sour pork with brown rice. And Apple sticks (DON'T), they taste like a McD's apple pie minus the hint of cinnamon. Dull and bland.
