Opiniones de Guacamole Brooklyn
Great little gem in Gowanus for Mexican food. Cozy spot with bench seating and beautiful wall art. Had the street-sized (mini) tacos w Carnitas, burrito w Al Pastor, a chicken quesadilla, and a bowl w Shrimp. Everything was fantastic and generous portions. Solid menu and looks like they have lunch & dinner specials. Service is great; we had one nice man ring us up, cook, and serve the food. Price is right, location right by the Union St subway station. Will definitely go back!
I live in a City where there are a lot of Mexican restaurants and bars so when we go out of state we don’t normally eat Mexican food out because of how spoiled we are. However, I was craving Birria tacos and oh-my-GOD! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some delicious food here. I am definitely coming back and recommending this place to friends and family. Also the person who took care of me was super friendly. This place is a 10/10
Very kind. The food has a nice kick of spice, not too much. The guac was smooth and flavorful. Loved the radishes and cucumbers with the street tacos. Topped my carne asada tacos with verde salsa. The salsas taste like they have come charred ingredients. Fantastic.
Excellent food and service. Birria tacos are delicious. 100% Recommended.
Delicios boll ....!!! Fresh and tasty food 😋 😍 👌

Awesome food, there was only one person running the place yet he handled it all perfectly. Underrated restaurant, anybody interested in Mexican food should definitely eat here. Nice decorations all around too
So happy this place opened! The staff is so nice and the place is clean and obviously well cared for. The food is good, classic no-frills Mexican. The burrito bowls, tacos, and quesadillas are all great. The tres leches cake is unreal!
I love the ambiance, I’m satisfied with the service, i love all the food that I ordered (all Kinds of quesadilla & Tacos) Definitely i will come back for this joint if iM craving Mexican food again. is just the restroom needs to be cleaned up
Delicious! Super kind staff, food is really fresh and flavorful, everything I’ve had here is excellent. Has become a new local favorite, so glad it opened!
Went to Guacamole Brooklyn with a party of three for some tacos. Food was good, prices were fair, and the guy behind the counter was holding it down solo: impressive, especially since it got busy a few times throughout the night. Nice little spot. No real complaints.
This place is amazing! Their portion is amazing when it comes to serving birria quesadillas! Amazing Guacamole with cheese too. Service is also amazing! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s hungry for tacos or quesadillas.
The pozole is sooooo good. Perfectly salted, pork and homoney are so tender! I just wished they sold alcohol.
I love this New Mexican place. The tacos are out of this world tasty. I particularly liked the carnitas and pollo. Great vibe and nice service. Can’t ask for more! Definitely check this place out.
It's a fantastic place if you want to live a Mexican experience, the flavor and seasoning are very good, I couldn't stop eating and when I wanted to take a photo there wasn't any but I was very satisfied, if you are in Brooklyn come to this place, highly recommended
Wow. Okay, so this neighborhood spot looked so small and overwhelmed by the stores around it, I decided to stop in for lunch just now. Let me I don't often write Google reviews - this place deserves it. Clean, friendly staff, delicious food, and as fast a service as I could expect from such quality. I was in and out in less than 8 minutes. I did not expect my burrito to have a Chipotle-style assembly line setup, but after the man cooked my Al Pastor pork, he called me over from where I was daydreaming in the corner and we did just that. The pork/onion he'd just cooked looked amazing (dark, glistening, covered in spice) but every ingredient - the rice, the salsas, the beans, the corn - looked to have been cooked with extra levels of depth, flavor, and spice. I quietly admired all this as he went down the line, and right around the time he started bringing the guacamole into the picture (with a very unconventional scoop/flick technique I'd never seen before, but which provided incredible guacamole coverage on both sides of the burrito at once), I realized... this dude knew how to cook. Like, actually knew. And after he recommended a little cup of medium salsa to go, and wrapped my heavy little burrito in tin foil and placed it on the hot metal surface behind him to keep it hot while ringing me up, I realized... this dude actually cares. Delicious, no frills food. Friendly, attentive service. This is definitely going into my rotation.
I love this place! I always get the al pastor bowl and it's excellent every time. The food tastes healthy and fresh. The guys who work here are always fast and very friendly. The atmosphere is more of a takeout restaurant than a sit-down meal kind of place.

Super cute casual place, fun decor, cool furniture. Excellent service, fast and friendly! The tortillas taste homemade and very good. The meat is excellent, carne asada was my favorite, tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked. The al pastor was very good too. The nachos are super loaded but balanced and I thought the addition of peppers and onions was fantastic. What a great addition to the neighborhood, can't wait to try other offerings!
Cool little place with fresh guacamole and excellent fish tacos.

I hate to give a bad review to my people but I need to be honest. At first, I was excited to find this spot on our way out of Brooklyn and then when I smelled the tortillas wow, even more. Unfortunately, I didn't like the tacos. The girl cooking just grabbed some plastic containers with pre-cooked meats and started heating the meats on the griddle, first bad sign. Then she heated up the tortillas, which smelled great but ruined it by placing them on a dish a proceeding to add sweet corn, iceberg lettuce, bell peppers and whaaaaat??? That's not Mexican, never in my life I've seen this. She was very slow to do all of this and seemed to be having a bad day or something. By the time we got our tacos the food was already cold and the tortillas were literally falling apart. Very bad experience, even customer service was bad. I'm being generous with the three stars here.

Okay… I really wanted to like this place, but our burritos were a miss. We ordered one carne asada burrito for my partner and one chorizo burrito for me, and both of us ended up pretty disappointed. Her asada barely had any meat and didn’t look very appetizing right out of the foil, and while my chorizo had a bit more flavor, it still wasn’t anything to write home about. What threw us off most was all the extra vegetables mixed in that we didn’t ask for and weren’t expecting based on the menu. things like zucchini and squash. It gave the burritos a strange texture and taste that just didn’t work with the fillings. I finished mine, but my partner was too put off to keep going. Overall, it was a not my fave meal and I’m not sure yet if I’ll return.

Very disappointed,I ordered a chicken burrito 🌯 it was undersesoned, the chicken was overcooked (hard), and the yellow rice had a fishy taste to it. This will be my first and last time...
