They have 3 meat lucnch with veggie for less than $10, huge box! Dim sum was great, good price. Highly recommend
Authentic Cantonese Chinese food! Great for family dinners and large celebrations. One of my highlights was the sautéed lobster with sticky rice, and honey walnut shrimp.
We recently hosted our Chinese wedding banquet at this restaurant, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely incredible — authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked to perfection, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was, and by the end of the night, nearly everyone was asking for take-out boxes to bring home leftovers — that’s how good it was! The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and celebratory, creating the perfect setting for our wedding. The banquet hall was spacious, clean, and beautifully arranged, allowing everyone to move around comfortably while still feeling close and connected. The restaurant really captured that traditional yet modern Chinese banquet feel that we were hoping for. The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and extremely organized. They made sure the food came out promptly and stayed perfectly timed with the flow of the evening. From coordinating the table service to accommodating special requests, everything was handled smoothly and with genuine care. All of our guests had nothing but positive things to say about both the food and the venue. It truly made our special day even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place to host a wedding banquet, family celebration, or any large gathering with authentic Chinese cuisine, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. They delivered a five-star experience in every way.
This is always a go to spot for authentic Chinese food. Delicious and freshly prepared food. The atmosphere is always lively and full of locals. There's a video going around spreading misinformation about this gem and id hate for a family run restaurant to struggle due to that and for others to miss out on some of the best food out there!
The recent reviews showing raw meat being delivered in the back of a van are completely false. This is a beloved restaurant and has been serving quality food for many years now. They know how to transport their raw goods. Don't be misled...
I’ve been here multiple times with friends annd family and can confidently say this place consistently delivers — from the food to the service to the overall vibe. It’s a staple in our household from morning dim sum with aunties and grandparents to birthday dinners and casual nights out with my family. The dishes are flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared and true to the roots of the cuisine. It’s hard to find spots that balance authenticity and comfort this well l. The staff has always been warm and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is welcoming, whether you’re stopping by for a quick meal or bringing friends for something more special. It’s frustrating to see a great local restaurant caught in the crossfire of misinformation. I encourage people to give it a fair chance. The food and friendly staff speaks for itself!
A local restaurant in the neighborhood where I would stop by to grab some food for gatherings and dining in. The food is always a hit for me and my party. Har gow is my favorite! The skin is not too thick and soft still has a chew!!! Please fact check before leaving negative reviews to howong who had nothing to do with the 7 second video
The dim sum here is absolutely divine!! Specifically the roast pork, I can’t get enough!! Just got a roast pork over rice to go for lunch and it came with a free soup!! The ladies in the front are super nice and friendly. Called me handsome once I walked in.
I’ve eaten at this place so many times and the food’s always been great. One time I did notice a dirty plate, but the server swapped it right away and apologized—no big deal. I saw that TikTok video and wanted to share my experience, but wow… the comment section is full of people who’ve never even been here. That’s just way over the top.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it remains one of the few places that still serves truly authentic, traditional Cantonese cuisine. Their roast pork and dim sum are unbeatable: crispy skin, juicy meat, perfectly seasoned every time. Even though it’s out of the way for me, I gladly make the trip because it’s that worth it. Recently, there’s been an unfortunate misunderstanding circulating online. A photo of raw pork being handled improperly near the area was wrongly associated with this restaurant. Let’s be clear, this assumption is baseless and completely out of context. This is an establishment that has built its reputation over decades with consistent quality, cleanliness, and care. If they were truly handling food inappropriately, they would have been shut down long ago. It’s disappointing to see such a respected local business being dragged into something it had no part in. Don’t let rumors steer you away from a gem. If you know good food and care about supporting hardworking local restaurants, this place deserves your continued trust.
This has always been one of my family’s favorite restaurants when we lived in the area, and they continue to serve high-quality dishes like eel clay pot rice and a variety of delicious dim sum. It’s truly disappointing to see a 7-second video being used to damage the reputation of a beloved local spot. The van filled with meat had no connection to the restaurant—it was making a delivery to the supermarket next door and just happened to be parked in front. Please make sure your facts are accurate before sharing content that unfairly harms a longstanding Bensonhurst staple.
I grew up in Bensonhurst and frequented this restaurant numerous times over the years (for decades) and it's by far one of my favorite restaurants till this day to frequent for authentic Chinese food. I have celebrated my birthday among other important events at this restaurant. The staff are incredibly attentive and very accommodating with reasonable pricing. The food is fresh and I have never had any issues with the quality or taste of the food no matter what time of the day I go. The fact that you can frequent the restaurant at any time of day and see how busy it is is a testament to how good it is and how people continue to come back for more. It is a local neighborhood favorite that has been around for years with affordable pricing. They have a lot of seating/tables including a second floor as well as private rooms with karaoke if you wish to reserve a spot. Amazing place, a must check out! I have dined more times than I can count and have never encounter any issues with the staff, the food, or service ever. Would highly recommend!
TLdR: most of the food was good but the famous clay pot rice didn’t get a good crust The meat items from the butcher were really good, the pot was nice and fatty without being too salty. I also liked the honey walnut shrimp. However the man attraction was the clay pot rice and they cooked it too quickly, didn’t get a good crust on the rice.
They had a big party on the first floor. So we were on the upper level. The service was very good and the food was very good.
