Opiniones de Hungy House Brooklyn
I had a great experience ordering from Hungry House at both the Navy Yard in Brooklyn and on Lexington in Manhattan. The employees were kind, asking me if I needed any help with the kiosk and what to choose from the vast array of dishes. I ordered the Salmon Bowl with spicy Fries and a Nguyen Vietnamese coffee beverage. My order came quickly and fresh and I was very pleased with the whole experience. Definitely Recommend to try the Burgers and all the other meals curated by different chefs. I got the Star points by putting my # in so I get discounts every time I order. 👍👍👍
Ordered from seamless / grubhub for pick up for lunch. Seared Alaskan Salmon Bowl (over greens) was delicious and filling. Price is alright but worth it for the quality and freshness. Solid lunch option if you work at WeWork Dock 72!
Had a fully stacked burger and it was great. The original burger is pretty plain and there wasn’t any ketchup in the bag. Didn’t realize the lemon broccoli side would be cold. All in all hungry house has the widest selection at The Brooklyn Navy Yard and some of the more healthy options. I’ll be back for sure. Hours can be subject to change, here at 3:10pm on and Monday (1/13/25) and they appear to not be taking orders.
My new favorite spot! Fast and tasty food and unique menu items. Everything we ordered was amazing but especially loved the lumpias. Highly recommended!
Very delicious, fresh and high quality food! Is well worth money and their ordering system is excellent. Prices are fair for the level of food you getting. Suggest to everyone !

Love Hungry House! The tortas changed my life and the burger and fries are spot on every time. I love the fact that we can order a few different cuisines in one order (with incredible quality across the board).
The food is INCREDIBLE— especially the tofu bowl. Kelly, one of the employees, is the absolute sweetest. We had a wonderful little conversation and I truly felt at home. 10/10 recommend & will be coming back soon!!
Everything I had tasted fresh, healthy, and had really unique flavors. Nothing was greasy, everything looked and tasted like it had just been chopped just for me and the presentation was pretty and interesting- not something I would expect with takeout. It's also worth mentioning I went in person to order, the people were super friendly, warm, and entire kitchen was clean and organized. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes trying new foods, is health-conscious and wants fresh food.

Recently I got to try @orderhungryhouse . It’s a unique concept where they work with todays most interesting chefs and brands. Committed to sustainability and long term positive impact. 🌱 🍽️ Super Torta de Camote 🍽️Sesame Pancit Noodle Bowl 🍽️Miso chocolate blonde 🍽️Saturday morning bold spice
Stopped in to check this place out on my way to Dock 72 for lunch. I got a chicken bowl with mushroom, kale, radish, carrots, and rice. Really enjoyed the flavor in the bowl. Didn't enjoy the fact that lunch cost me >$20. Should be noted that Hungry House is one of those aggregate kitchens with several different cuisines. You order from a kiosk and probably take your food elsewhere since there's not much in the way of seating at all. It's always better to give more rice than less and this place just didn't pack enough rice. Maybe I'm just a fan tou, but if you cheap out on me, you don't get that last star.

Honestly the experience was really nice and the food was good but I would appreciate if the store would cash because people still carry cash.

Conveniently located at building 77 in the navy yard. Decent spot to stop by for lunch, if you work in the yard / or if you’re there visiting. About $14 for a bowl, with a main and two sides and a sauce. Food is nothing really to brag about, a level or two above a fast food joint. Some varied options for vegetarians.

I'm not sure what happened within the last 6 months, new management, a new team, etc. but the quality in the food has gotten so bad that I have no desire to ever purchase food from there again. I used to order from them all of the time because of the convenience in location at the Navy Yard and they used to be tasty. The only reason I ordered from them for lunch yesterday was because I got $10 off via "stars"/points. Figured I'd "play it safe" and get their Backyard BBQ Chicken bowl with greens, broccoli, sweet potatoes, side of aioli. The aioli was rancid (second time this has happened), the broccoli consisted of mostly cuts, and the sweet potatoes were suspect in color/taste. Hungry House used to be such a convenient option at the Navy Yard and now it is so disappointing.

Ordered from Woldy Kusina - modern Filipino food from Hungry House. Got the sesame pancit noodles - portion size, not work it for the price - super salty and sour - noodles are all cut up Feels more like overpriced and poorly home cooked meal, sadly. Would not recommend or get again.
They are always closed. Food is great but the business has the most inconsistent hours and will be closed for weeks on end. Its not fair to the people who work in the navy yard to have one of the few restaurants in the building never open.

Review: I recently had the opportunity to try the food at a restaurant called "Soul Bowl," and unfortunately, I must say that my experience was quite disappointing. The food was simply awful. One of the major issues I encountered was the strange combination of ingredients in the salads. It seemed that they had no understanding of flavor pairing or culinary balance. For example, one of the salads I ordered contained a mishmash of apples, pineapple, onion, sour cream, chicken, and tomato. The flavors clashed horribly, and it was an unpleasant experience trying to eat it. It felt like a random assortment of ingredients thrown together without any thought or consideration for taste. Furthermore, the chicken in the "Soul Bowl" was undercooked. It was raw in the center, which was not only unappetizing but also a potential health hazard. This lack of attention to basic cooking standards was highly concerning and unacceptable. Given my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend "Soul Bowl" to anyone. The poorly combined ingredients and raw chicken are clear indicators of a lack of culinary expertise and attention to detail. It's disappointing when a restaurant fails to deliver on its promise of good food, and unfortunately, this was the case with "Soul Bowl." I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a satisfying dining experience.
I dropped in this morning for a breakfast burrito that took over 15 minutes to be made. Once I was given the burrito I asked the male staff member that he hadn’t included the sauce. Perilously when I ordered this same item I was given sauce. The man said nothing and just ran to get this Spanish girl who started to scream at me and ask why I was talking to the man. I explain and said I asked for the sauce on the side and she screamed at me some more that he doesn’t speak English and I shouldn’t be speaking to him and just take my order and go. I explain to her that 1. If he doesn’t speak English why is he placed in a position to interact with the public and 2 put a sign up saying he doesn’t speak English and I would have tried to flag someone else down. She screamed and screamed some more saying the sauce was inside (it wasn’t) and threw the sauce and hot sauce at me. At this point I asked for her name and she just walked out of the kitchen and ordered everyone to exit as well. Terrible customer services experience and it’s 9:35am what kind of morning did you have that your already screaming at people?!
I ordered a big torta de pollo and I that's not a torta de pollo, this is cemita de milanesa de pollo, is completely different because this "torta" was fried and I dont eat fried chicken ;( I ate my dinner disgusted and not happy.

We ordered from them today, got double burger and inside tiny patties that you feel only the bun when you eat. They also had ice-cream but when I asked to buy they said only with email, they can't explain which email I need to get and refuse to sell me one. Not recommended at all! Not by food, not by service.
Filthy tables and floors made me lose my appetite. Utterly disrespectful staff with zero sense of service. Joke of a kitchen — food was cold, bland, and likely microwaved. If you care about your time or stomach, avoid this place at all costs.
