Opiniones de Jaew Thai Cuisine Brooklyn
Loved the food and the service. Our favorites were the papaya salad, duck spring rolls, massaman curry, pananag curry with crab, and pineapple fried rice. The desserts were great as well. We tried the caramel cheese cake and the mango mousse bear. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere relaxing. Looking to come back.
I always do delivery or take out, but the food always arrives hot, as ordered, and excellent. Best Pad Thai in Windsor Terrace/Kensington
Great local spot. Between my wife and I we've probably come here more than ten times for take out and we've been happy with our food every time. They are extremely prompt to put together the order, they haven't once messed up my food, it's all quite tasty, and the people working inside are incredibly friendly. Very happy to have this near my home.
Have eaten here before and the food was delicious and tasted fresh . Tonight I ordered in advance which was also yummy with generous portions.
Some restaurants are stunning but the food doesn't measure up. Jaew is both stunning and DELICIOUS! One of the best Panang curries I've ever had and I'm a Panang curry addict. Also random but the salad they serve with the lunch special slaps and so does the passionfruit green tea. I don't usually order Pad Thai but they do it so well! The ambiance is there, the people are so lovely, and the food is top notch! Happy they're here :) (please extend your hours)
An extremely beautiful place, I discovered many interesting dishes, my 8-year-old niece was delighted with the original dessert (mango bear). We will definitely visit again with friends!
Really really delicious and very solid portions. Really could taste the quality.
Delicious, fresh, great portions & atmosphere & service. Unbeatable lunch special. Will return for the other entree options that look very good. We need this great quality Thai in the neighborhood! This is far better than all the rest
We were looking for tom yum seafood soup and found this place. Let me tell you this: I am impressed. The tom yum seafood soup, crispy calamari and papaya-mango salad were just WOW! The place is very lovely and clean. The service was on point as well! Thank you!
We ordered delivery. The food came fast, was piping hot and delicious. Thank you, Jaew Thai Cuisine!
I love this Thai Restaurant! They have the nicest staff and a beautiful inside space, but the food is OUTSTANDING! This place is consistent, delicious, and reasonably priced.
Love this place, the atmosphere is great! I like all the dishes we order included appetizers, main dish, dessert and drinks. The Mango sticky rice dessert is the best i ever have
Delicious! The food is delicious and ambiance and music is wonderful. Great job to the staff and cooks, this is mine and my uncles go place whenever he is in town! Keep up the great work everyone!💜😁 Can't wait to come back.
Delicious food and I appreciate the good packing in an insulated bag for delivery. The Thai iced tea is the best I’ve had in NYC and the curry puffs were flaky and delicious. Pad Thai and drunken noodles were very good as well.
I’m new to the neighborhood but have so far eaten here twice a week for the past couple months, it’s that good. I am continually impressed with this restaurant, every thing I try on the menu is equally amazing and well executed. The flavor is so perfect and even the plating is immaculate. I ordered take out for the first time tonight and it was packaged with such care and in a heat protecting bag. I really can’t say enough about this place. It has my highest recommendation. Keep up the good work! And thank you!
I believe this is the best Thai food restaurant in Brooklyn at the moment. My family and I went for Mother’s Day. We were seated in a timely manner, and then we’re met with a pleasant waitress. We ordered our food, and even though it took a little time because of the excitement of Mother’s Day, I assume, it came out in great timing. The food was amazing and the taste was on point. I recommend the chicken wings, the Bronzino, and the spicy veggie Thai rice. Also, the ice cream is amazing. It was so good, we went for lunch and had to come back for dinner. 10/10 recommend!
I've dined in person and ordered delivery. Both experiences were extraordinary. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and nuanced. I recommend experiencing the lamb massaman curry special at least once in your life. I've also tried the papaya salad, pad thai and the green curry. Everything was delicious but the green curry was easily the best I've ever had. Their delivery service was also incredible. The food arrived in under 30min, still hot and fresh. The portions were very generous.
I have only picked up and gotten delivery here, but my partner and I we blown away by how delicious the food was!! The staff were super attentive and quick, and everything we ordered was ...... the best Thai food we've both had in years, if not ever, so we're going to try a bunch more items here and see it it holds up (I have a good feeling it will). Thanks!!
Delicious food and very kind staff! Enjoyed the tofu pad thai and panang curry.
Delicious food, exceptional service, and beautiful vibes. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy Thai food during their stay in New York!
Pineapple rice is the must to try. Good cuisine and a quiet vibe ( probably bz of a bedroom community). Definitely coming back to try more dishes
Ordered delivery from their app and it arrived within 30 minutes. We got curry puffs, green curry, and pad thai. Truly incredibly and tasty. Green curry was nuanced with a nice kick and wonderfully herbaceous; curry puffs were light and flaky with a great filling; pad thai had big flavor and great noodle texture. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Will order delivery again and will definitely stop by in the future.
We had a wonderful experience at this Thai restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. She kindly allowed us to stay and have lunch even though they were about to close in 5 minutes. Highly recommend!
Today we had a lunch special. My salad was crisp and fresh. My husband loved the coconut soup. The Thai fried rice was delicious…lots of fresh veggies and tofu. Took a coconut/ mango smoothie home. Enjoying it now.
This new reincarnation of Thai Farm kitchen is outstanding. Same Chef, different team. All of the dishes are so tasty, big portions and really flavorful. Cute ambience, excellent service. Best pad Thai in the neighborhood, gluten-free options. I highly recommend.
This place is a must try! The food came out pretty quickly and everything tasted amazing. We had the Beef Green Curry and Sirloin Cubes and Chicken pineapple rice. The service was top notch as well. The Thai tea was so cute with a teddy bear ice cube and I had the Butterfly pea tea for the first time and it won't be the last! I definitely will be going back!
I recently ordered from this restaurant and was delighted by the freshness, great taste and authenticity of the food. My partner and I really enjoyed the delicious fried rice and crispy chicken wings with yummy Thai iced tea. Everything is high quality here. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan on trying more dishes on their menu.
I absolutely loved Thai Farm Kitchen and was saddened to see them close, so when I saw this new restaurant, I stopped in to try them out. I was so pleased to find out that the wonderful staff from Thai Farm Kitchen is now working here. I instantly knew that I was going to get the same kind of service and delicious food as before. And as expected, everything I ordered was wonderful, including the complimentary mango mousse. The prices here are basically the same, and it looks like they changed up the menu a bit. Also, it looks like they don't serve alcohol for those interested. The restaurant itself is clean and beautiful. I definitely recommend checking this new place out, and I will be sure to stop in again in the near future. I wish the new owners the best of luck!
This newly opened Thai restaurant was a hit! The dishes had a well-balanced taste. The calamari stood out, with large, fresh pieces of squid that were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside—the beef Pad See Ew was full of rich, savory flavors. The rice flat noodles were extremely soft and fresh, complementing the tender beef and veggies perfectly! Pineapple fried rice is a must! Great atmosphere, authentic flavors, and generous portions—definitely worth a visit!
I recently tried Jaew Thai Cuisine and was really impressed. The service and staff were truly so welcoming and excellent! I really enjoyed the crispy chicken basil shrimp, chive cakes, phat kaphrao, and pad thai. There was a perfect balance of flavors and the plating was wonderful. The whole atmosphere was also lovely. I would definitely come back to try more dishes on the menu. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant!
This review is solely regarding take-out, as I've yet to have the pleasure of dining in: If 6 stars were an option, Jaew Thai would get it. Thai food is in my top 3 cuisine favorites, and my standards are pretty dang high, considering I was once very spoiled by living with a very close friend's family (from Chanthaburi) whose mother's Thai cooking was next level. And I can honestly say, in my 40 years on this Earth, no Thai food I've ever had - and I've had a LOT (whether in NYC or California) has ever come close... until today. The mushroom tom kha was simply perfect. No notes. The flavor profile of the massaman curry was TOP NOTCH. There was an entire anise pod in my curry - which speaks VOLUMES about this establishment going the extra mile to offer up a truly unforgettable meal. And I typically find Thai iced tea ok, even good, but never this great. I wanted to take photos but I completely forgot that I planned to write a review the second I took one smell of the curry, and 40 mins later, every drop of food is gone, as I lay in bed completely food drunk, on one of the very best meals I've had in a very, very long time. But I will most certainly be back soon, and I promise to contain myself long enough to take photos next time. Kudos, Jaew Thai. Please, please, please don't ever change.
We recently tried the soft opening of Jaew Thai Cuisine and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes we tried. Food was fresh and authentic. The moment you step into the restaurant, you're enveloped by the warm, inviting atmosphere thanks to the soft lighting and Thai inspired decoration - a perfect blend of cozy charm for an evening out with friends or family. Service was friendly and attentive, we'll definitely be back next week to try more dishes!!
I’ve lived in Thailand for about a year and this place is by far my favorite spot for Thai in NYC bar none, and one of my favorite restaurants in NYC in general. I still have to try every dish, but each one is better than the last one. Any rating less than 5 stars for this fabulous, amazing restaurant should be ignored completely. The staff is always super friendly and the decor/atmosphere is top notch. Michelin Star in my book.
If you’re craving authentic Thai flavors in a beautifully designed space, this restaurant is a must-visit! The décor is stunning, with warm wooden tones and elegant Thai-inspired details that transport you straight to Bangkok. Grilled Beef Salad– Tender, smoky beef with a zesty, spicy dressing that wakes up your taste buds! Chive Pancakes– Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with aromatic chive goodness. Pineapple Fried Rice– A tropical twist on classic fried rice, with sweet pineapple and fragrant curry seasoning. Massaman Curry with lamb Leg – Rich and creamy with coconut milk, slow-cooked to perfection, and bursting with warm spices.
Tried this new local Thai place, great atmosphere, authentic Thai food and attentive customer service. We ordered Thai ice tea, specialty fruit salad, chive cake, duck spring roll, shrimp green curry and ube ice tea, everything was delicious. Would love to try other dishes next time.
I typically don’t love Thai food, but this place really made me question myself! The food was amazing (recommended: drunken noodles, calamari) and there wasn’t one thing that I didn’t enjoy. The ambience is wonderful and service was great; our cups were never empty. Every dish had a great flavor and I definitely recommend this restaurant.
I had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered the beef noodle soup and the Tom Yum soup, and both were bursting with authentic flavors. The beef was tender, the broth rich and comforting, and the Tom Yum had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess. The customer service was just as impressive — everyone was friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. You can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving genuine Thai comfort food with outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I saw this grand opening Jaew Thai Cuisine and went in to try, was blown away by the authentic Thai flavors. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience and highly recommend Jaew Thai Cuisine to anyone craving authentic Thai food.
if you wanna rizz up your girl... this is the place... i think the only reason she still dates me is because i take her here every month. all jokes aside, the service is welcoming, the portions and flavors are great, and the interior decorating is so adorable. love having this spot in the neighborhood :) we looove the massaman curry and the ice cold glasses they serve with local thai beers.
Pretty good neighborhood Thai joint! Would definitely recommend if you have a casual craving 🤤 The food is well spiced and flavorful. We enjoyed the appetizer combo and the crab fried rice! The khao soi is also very rich and the chicken fell right off the bone. Love the interior design 💫
Nested in Kensington area of Brooklyn, this gem is a must if you are near by; since it’s redesigned under new mgmt it’s been taking the community by storm. Love the ambiance and service is engaging to your needs. The menu is filled with amazing dishes and also bolts a great lunch special as well. I tried one of my favorite dishes, the Lamb Shank in Massaman Curry. My go to of course is the Drunken Noodles (Phad Kee Mao). I will definitely be back and try something new!
Such a cute and aesthetic place! The food was amazing. We ordered the beef drunken noodles, massaman curry with rice and satay chicken (super soft and delicious) the mango sticky rice was amazing as well. The people were so kind and friendly. This place is a must. I’m definitely coming back again to try other stuff in their menu. 🤩
This is such a beautiful spot ! The service is so nice and friendly. The food was delicious. My hubbie and I shared the papaya salad which was excellent 👌 Then we had some spring rolls, calamari and wings. For my entrée I had the green curry which was so creamy and delicious with just the right amount of spice. The lamb shank hubbie had fell right off the bone. Super tasty. To end the night we had the mango mousse bear and the ube cheesecake. This was a really amazing date night. Thank you !!
Everything that we ordered was very delicious and big portions to share with our group of 3. The Thai iced tea with the bear ice was really good and cute! We also ordered the Khao Soi, pad see ew, calamari and mango sticky rice dessert! My friend said it’s one of the best Thai iced tea she’s had in nyc. I liked the beef pad see ew and mango sticky rice a lot. The service was very attentive and nice. We will be back very soon with more friends and family.
I would highly recommend you come and try Jaew Thai Cuisine. I don’t give out too many good reviews, as you can see from my review history. I can see this newly opened neighborhood restaurant will do very well. Portion sizes are good, price right and most importantly food and service are good too !! I’m looking forward to coming back again and trying all their dishes. You must order their Thai Ice Tea when you come. You won’t be disappointed.
The place is so pretty! The interior is so wonderful and the staff is amazing! It was just me and my best friends but the waitress was super sweet and let us know what was going on, weather they were on break or anything but they still let us know if we needed anything and communicated. The food was AMAZING, you get 100% what you pay for and the portion are so big, and the appetizers are to DIE FOR, I loved the meals so much, everything pairs so well together and I'm 100% coming back!
My favorite Thai spot in the neighborhood! I was bummed when the old place closed, but the new one is an even better surprise — bigger menu and more vegetarian and drink options! Besides the classic chive cakes, the roti Massaman and sautéed Brussels sprouts are my new go-to favorites. Friendly service, amazing kitchen team — so happy this place is here!
I am a HUGE Thai food fan and this is probably one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever tried. EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. I cannot day enough good things about this place, the entire staff including the owners are genuinely wonderful people, very welcoming and always take care of you.
I came to Jaew Thai Cuisine with my family for dinner and had an amazing experience! The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was so pleased with their service! The atmosphere was also great. Very warm and relaxing. A perfect place to enjoy a meal with some friends, family, or even by yourself. I ordered the chive cakes, crispy basil shrimp, thai house pork ribs, and vegetable green curry. They were all so delicious, flavorful, and plated so beautifully! I would definitely recommend these dishes to anyone that comes here. I also ordered the strawberry milkshake which was refreshing and didn’t taste artificial or too sweet like some other places. I’m excited to come back again to try more!
My family visited during the soft opening on Saturday night, and it was a hit! My two picky eaters both loved Jaew – they couldn't get enough! The Thai Iced Tea was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like many others we've had, and it paired wonderfully with our meal. We started with the duck spring rolls and calamari, both of which were crispy and light. Then, we sampled the red curry with shrimp, Phad See Ew, and pineapple fried rice. Each dish was packed with flavor, and the shrimp were large and incredibly fresh. Even just a few days later, we're already planning our next visit. The table next to us ordered the seafood dish and raved about it, so it's definitely on our list for next time!
I had a very enjoyable time eating at this restaurant, the food was VERY good and the drinks were amazing as well. I got the roast duck fried rice and it tasted delicious. The portions were good and the environment of the restaurant was exceptional. The waiters and waitresses were very polite as well. 11/10, would recommend to anyone!
I went there for lunch. I had a great time. The ambiance was perfect. The food was delicious. I had calamari for appetizer. It was the best calamari I tried so far. I liked it very much. I had the beef panang curry. The curry was pretty good but the beef was a little bit overcooked. The Tom Yum soup was flavorful. I had classic mango sticky rice for dessert. It exceeded my expectation. The mango was so fresh and the sticky rice was so delicious. The service was great as well. I will definitely return.
I dined here during their soft opening on a Friday and then three of had an incredible meal. We shared three appetizers (curry puffs, spring rolls and duck roll) which were all delicious, especially with the sauces provided. We each had our own entree and I loved the chicken panang curry so much I brought it home for tomorrow! We tried the Sleeping Bear Mango Mousse for dessert but couldn't finish it because we were stuffed. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. Prices are good for the large portions, too. The restroom is wheelchair-accessible as is seating and the entrance.
Do yourselves a favor and order your dishes family style. We ordered a Thai iced tea, a purple lemonade, calamari, beef pad thai, crab curry, and mango sticky rice. Calamari - So this is a personal preference. I personally love that the calamari was light on the breading. And the chunks of squid were big. I was eating more squid than breading. Absolutely love this. Beef pad Thai - The beef was cooked very nicely and not overly done. The noodles were creamy and aromatic. It’s a familiar dish that will always be comfortable for anyone to order because it is dependable. Crab curry - The real star of the show was the crab curry. As you can see from the picture, there was a generous portion of crab meat. The crab meat had a pleasant sweetness to it. The dish was absolutely delicious. This would be the dish I would keep coming back for. Mango sticky rice - I’ve been on a mission to find a mango sticky rice in NYC that is similar to the ones I had in Thailand. Having tried so many, I can say that this is the closest one I can find. The portion was generous and is definitely shareable between 2 to 3 people. I was so full by the time we had the mango sticky rice, but I was determined to try it. And I’m so glad I did. Overall, this is a pleasant addition to the neighborhood. The staff were so pleasant and hospitable. I don’t have to travel all the way to park slope for the same pad Thai over and over again. The dishes here are more interesting and have more depth imo. And one final note, the Thai playlist they had playing in the background was really good! And the decor is really gorgeous.
My family and I went here today for lunch and everything was delicious. Servers were very friendly. I’m not sure if the owners changed but I’m loving the newly decorated and spacious interior. We had calamari, crab rangoon, red curry, fried rice, drunken noodles, Thai tea and coconut mango frosty. Everything was fresh, delicious and full of flavor! Red curry had a kick of spice that I loved. Already thinking of going back soon.
My friend and I ventured into this restaurant because the planned one was closed. This was a blessing! Every time we come here we are warmly greeted. The food is not salty and seasoned well. The establishment is a good size... not too small to feel incommodius, but not too big to feel secluded. This thai spot has become my go-to restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
The food in the restaurant was so good! The shrimp spring rolls and crab ragoons appetizers were so good and crispy! It wasn't oily at all. I ordered the drunken noodles which was full of flavor and cooked to the right noodle texture. It was on the less spicy side though. Also, their thai ice tea was honestly my favorite thai ice tea I ever tried. Not too sweet and stronger tea taste. The bear ice was a very cute touch in the drink as well. Definitely will come here again!
Delicious food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Most of the dishes could be made vegetarian. The soups can be made with vegetarian broth (mushroom) and the curries can be made with vegetables and tofu OR moc duck (fake meat substitute). It’s unusual to see vegetarian Tom Yum and Tom Kha and they were delicious. All of the curries were outstanding. The Massaman curry has a rich flavor with a hint of cinnamon. The red curry had chunks of pineapple which added a nice sweetness. I was excited to see the tamarind curry because I love tamarind and it’s excellent, balanced sweet and savory. I ordered a key lime iced tea which tasted a little bit like a Thai iced tea but with a citrus flavor and no milk. The decor is very pretty; you can tell they care about the whole experience. Even the water served at the table comes with a slice of lemon in the pitcher, which is a nice touch.
If I could give Jaew Thai 10 stars I would. That is how good the food is. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The service is top notch and the food was delicious. Great portion sizes. I had the Phad Thai noodles with shrimp and the Lychee Thai Iced Tea with the little bear on top, it was so good. I will be going again to try other dishes.
My husband and I visited this Thai restaurant and absolutely loved it! We ordered two Tom Yums, calamari, and fried octopus — everything was incredibly delicious! The service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The place looks beautiful inside, very cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back! 💛
The flavors are incredible and comforting. We ordered the classic pad Thai with mock duck and the rad-na noodles with tofu. Both dishes were outstanding, though I’d say the rad-na were on another level as the gravy was out of this world. The tea was also generous and well steeped. Like other have mentioned, the portions are extremely generous and everything tastes fresh.
This was our first visit to Jaew. The staff is friendly and attentive, the decor is really attractive and colorful but not overstated and the food is excellent. We had Crab Rangoons for an app and the Massaman Curry with beef as a main. Both were delicious, we also got flavored teas that were refreshing and tasty. Will definitely return.
We totally loved our time at this cute restaurant. The service was seriously amazing, with everyone working there being super attentive and friendly. Every dish we got was incredibly tasty, really showing off those authentic Thai flavors. Highly recommend the shrimp mayo apptz, Tom Yum Soup, Sirloin cubes, and Pork Ribs. It's a total food gem that we'd totally recommend. We're already looking forward to our next visit. ขอบคุณมากค่ะ!
On gave fantastic service for starters. She gave us a Thai iced tea on the house which comes with a little iced bear in it. We ordered a ton from f food since it was our first time there and wanted to sample the dishes. Everything was delicious! The pineapple fried rice, the sirloin cubes and drunken noodles were probably the best we've ever had! We recommend the sampler appetizer dish which comes with wings, veggies curry empanadas, spring rolls and shrimp rolls which were the best in my opinion. Definitely going back there for sure!
Went to Jaew Thai based on the reviews as we're not from the area and y'all did not disappoint. It was our first time there and we ordered a few items. * Appetizer Sampler * Drunken Noodles * Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp * Sirloin Cubes Everything was delicious and fresh. On, our server, was amazing and attentive. We mentioned it was our first time there and realized we incorrectly ordered a drink that didn't come with the little 🐻 😢 and a few minutes later she showed up with it on the house. We will definitely be coming back to try other dishes, especially the Pad Thai, which is a favorite of mine.
Everything was extremely delicious and fresh. The pad see ew is an absolute must, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the Thai tea was hands down the most authentic I’ve ever tasted. Definitely coming back.
Hidden gem. Beyond 5 stars. Authentic Thai experience. Everything was amazing from decor to service to the food. I’m usually pretty picky with Thai food. Some of my favorites include AM Thai and One Charm Thai, this is up there.
I saw this cute and quaint Thai restaurant, definitely love the ambiance. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, great for pics and you can see your chefs, too. Shared dinner with my kids and cousin, the dishes were served quickly, hot, & delicious and serving size was great for sharing. Drinks were delicious, my daughter loved the teddy bear in the Chai Iced Tea. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. I will definitely be back to try something new.
As someone who has travelled extensively to Thailand purely for the love of their food, I can confidently say that this Thai restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors. For me, Thai cuisine is all about the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy, and this place delivers on every level. And the best part? It’s incredibly family-friendly, especially for those with toddlers who can’t handle spicy food. Pineapple Fried Rice is a must-try. It’s a perfect harmony of sweet pineapple, savory rice. My kids absolutely loved it. Highly recommend Chive Cakes. The crispy exterior paired with the soft, flavorful interior is a texture and taste sensation. I’ve never seen this dish anywhere else, and it’s something you cannot miss. The Green Curry is another standout dish. It’s rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced—not too spicy, but with just enough kick to satisfy those who enjoy a bit of heat.My daughter, who’s usually hesitant about curries, couldn’t get enough of the Beef Pad. It’s packed with layers of flavor, from the tender beef to the vibrant vegetables, and it’s now her go-to dish whenever we visit. What truly sets this restaurant apart is how accommodating it is for families with young children. The Crispy Chicken Wings, cut in half for easy eating, making them an ideal finger food for little ones.*The Little Bear Dessert* was so delicious ! It was the highlight of the meal for my girls. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or just looking for a great meal with your family to make your kids smiles, this restaurant will not disappoint.
⸻ I recently visited this Thai restaurant for the first time with my parents, who live nearby, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience—10/10! The food was incredible; the pad kaphrao was perfectly seasoned, and the green curry was rich and flavorful. I also loved their Thai iced tea—just the right balance, without being overly milky. The service was just as impressive. The waitstaff was attentive, regularly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back. A must-try for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine!
Jaew Thai Cuisine is an absolute gem and a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The Thai tea is rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. We requested a milder spice level for the drunken noodles, and they were perfectly balanced—just the right amount of heat without overwhelming the palate. The calamari was crispy, tender, and paired with a tasty dipping sauce, while the classic phad Thai was everything you’d hope for—sweet, savory, and comforting. It was our first time ordering the massaman curry with beef, and we're so happy that we did because it was incredibly flavorful, perfectly paired with jasmine rice. Additionally, the coconut soup was refreshing, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. Honestly, everything we ordered was exceptional, and we can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. If you’re looking for flavorful dishes and excellent hospitality, this place is a definite 10/10. Highly recommend!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jaew Thai Cuisine for the first time, and it was an incredible experience😍!The restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for large groups and for celebrating special occasions like birthdays with friends. The food was delicious, with standout dishes including the flavorful crab meat fried rice, rich and aromatic red curry, crispy calamari, and the seafood Pad Thai, all cooked to perfection. The drinks were equally impressive; the Thai tea and Butterfly Pea drinks, both recommended by the owner, were refreshing and flavoured😍. To make our celebration even more unique, the owner kindly treated us to a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a lovely gesture. We had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a vibrant and welcoming setting. It’s worth a visit!😊😊
I stopped by JaeW Thai and tried their Pad Thai—it was really good! The spice level was stronger than I expected, but in a good way. It had great flavor and the portion was generous. What really stood out, though, was the Thai iced tea. It came with a cute bear-shaped ice cube made from tea and milk, and as it melted, it slowly mixed into the drink. Super creative and fun to watch—not something you see every day! The only thing I wasn’t too crazy about was the interior. It felt kind of plain and didn’t match how good the food and drinks were. But overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again.
This is newly opened Thai restaurant, the waitress are very friendly. The best dish I had is pineapple shrimp fried rice. The sirloin cube is too salty, if they can just cut salt to half it will taste much better.
Everything was extremely delicious and fresh. The pad see ew is an absolute must, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the Thai tea was hands down the most authentic I’ve ever tasted. Definitely coming back.
First time eating thai food , i enjoyed to the maximum , the food was great nice and quiet atmosphere. I will definitely go back especially for the pianaple fried rice 😋 i loved it.
This was the BEST chicken I have ever had in my whole life! It brought me back to my childhood favorite meal, tasting so fresh and filled with love! Also, the thai tea was so good and refreshing!
The atmosphere was warm and inviting and service was equally impressive — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The calamari is lightly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. The green curry was rich, creamy, and incredibly aromatic. The balance of coconut milk, spices, and herbs was spot-on. To drink, I had the passion fruit green tea, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. Overall, this restaurant is a true gem. This place offers an authentic, flavorful experience that will absolutely keep you coming back. Highly recommend.
Please, please, please don't ever change.
solid flavor in the curry and the tom ka soup, but the chicken is cooked to hell and why canned veggies? canned green beans and canned carrots, barely any peppers… very disappointing. flavors all there. mango in the mango sticky rice is a bit overripe.
New Thai restaurant opened in Brooklyn Thai Farm Kitchen closed, and Jaew Thai Cuisine opened up on the same location this week in Kensington, Brooklyn, NYC. They did some minor renovations lending towards larger groups, brighter colors, and more of an open space. 10% off during their soft open. Had the chicken pad Thai, chicken green curry, and duck spring rolls. We enjoyed the food, but didn't love it. Felt like it was tailored towards non Thai eaters and a bit bland for our spiced up tastes. Staff was very friendly and spot on. Our glasses were never empty. They gave us a complimentary dessert. They've got a digital wait list when you walk in and a loyalty program. The credit card fee is 4%. 2 blocks from the subway and in front of a bus stop. We will try again later this month at lunch, trying their lunch specials.
Good flavors, uninspired menu, overcooked meat. Note this is during their soft opening so it might improve. At first glance there was nothing on the menu that I was excited about ordering. It has the standard noodles, curry, etc. Even their signature dishes sounded meh. There wasn't any unique or original dishes nor an authentic dish you don't normally see on a Thai menu. They serve everything you've had in every other "neighborhood" Thai place. So you're not coming here for that killer dish. I suspected from the menu that the meat wasn't going to be well cooked so I ordered chicken in my dishes. No point in paying extra when overcooked beef and shrimp taste worse than overcooked chicken. Chicken tasted like it was cooked beforehand and recooked when added to the noodles, curry, etc. It was tough and dry in both the pad Thai and the green curry. You would expect a bit more flavor from the chicken in the curry if it was cooked in it absorbing the flavors, but the chicken itself was bland. The chicken wings were way overcooked and dry as well. The best part of the food was that the flavors were well balanced. Not too spicy, not too salty or sweet - I hate Thai food that's too sugary. It was consistently good in all the dishes ordered. But it lacks that kick you would expect from more traditional Thai cooking. Service was really good, you can tell they were genuinely happy to have us there. Atmosphere was nice as well. Basically nothing that will make me want to come back or order takeout, unless someone in my circle suggests we try it again.
Regretted my choice. The roast duck fried rice was way too salty and soggy, with very fine diced duck meat that's barely visible among the rice, yet crashed duck bones made their appreance in every bite. I can't imagine what kind of trauma had led to the invention of this dish, just like some left over food blended together.
