Random curiosity pulled me in, no sign l, just open doors. Wow what a surprise. The Detroit style! Especially pepperoni slice out of town. Crispy edges, perfect dough, cheesy bliss. Great spot.

Pizza is freaking awesome!! The crust has this amazing charred cheese taste that will leave in awe. The hot honey along with their pizza is pure nirvana. Trust them to take care of you. Just be ready for what awaits.

Nate’s is great! I’m obsessed with their truffle pizza and now am very sad this location is closed, will have to visit the others. The mouth watering truffle smell will stay with me forever—and they top it with fresh basil & shaved Parmesan. The Vodka truffle is great too. Nate’s square Detroit-style slices aren’t cheap but they’re well worth it and more filling than the look. The edge of the crust is perfectly crispy with cheese & it has a nice fluffy-ish focaccia-type texture.

This was my first time trying Detroit-style pizza, and I was thoroughly impressed! The pizza was absolutely delicious—I enjoyed it so much that I’m already planning to come back for more. A big shoutout to Nate, who went above and beyond by making a special dairy-free pie for my son. His kindness and hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was great, with good music that added to the overall vibe. Fantastic experience all around!

The location is perfect for a casual bite or a meet-up with friends. Their pizza is incredibly saucy, just the way I like it, and you can't beat the price—super inexpensive for what you get! Plus, they have *Nigerian Fanta*, which is a rare and exciting find. The portion sizes are fair, and trust me, you’ll leave feeling full and satisfied. Loved every bite! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

The best Detroit style slice I’ve ever had. Worth the trip. Ordered the pepperoni square and broccoli rabe and sausage. Pepp square was the best. Wish it was easier to tell it was a pizzeria. Looks closed from the outside. This place is one of the best I’ve had in New York. Will be back.

Some of my favorite Detroit style pizza in NYC (and ever)!!! Nate is the best and he’s such a great addition to Other Half on Thursday nights. We look forward to our pizza every Thursday (definitely add hot honey to any slice) 🍕

I was crazy hungry, saw the spot and just open the door ... First thing I saw was at least 5 of my all time favorite vinyls on the wall like LCD Soundsystem, Velvet Underground and etc . So yeah I was cought :))) Then, they have amazing music and cute interior. I'm not very fond of this type of pizza but it was amazingly fresh and yummy with just grated parmesan cheese, right before being served and garnished with fresh basil. I had simple Margarita and tomato topping it had was just delicious. Service is nice and friendly. Well, happiness is a warm gun :))))

My new favorite pizza spot in Brooklyn! Do yourself a favor and try all the flavors Nate offers. My favorites were the Hawaiian and the truffle, but everything tastes incredible and super fresh. Nate is also the most welcoming and cheerful guy. This is definitely going to be my weekly pizza treat!

This is not like other pizza you've had before. What Nate brings to the NY pizza scene is a passion, love, and creativity that is evident in every bite. The cheese and crust is crisped to perfection on the edges - so much so that this "middle piece" reviewer would fight for an edge. The BEC is a delicious and well balanced homage to the classic NY breakfast sandwich, and tastes like your favorite deli BEC pizza-fied. The Hawaiian. Oh my word, the Hawaiian. The ham is juicy and obviously well selected, the pineapple juicy and caramelized, leaving this pizza with a sweet-salty finish that I have never tasted before. Hawaiian-haters beware: this will convince you to put pineapple on your pizza and wonder why you ever thought it wouldn't work. This is a MUST stop that will leave you hungry for me. Take your parents here, take your friends here, take yourself here, stop not being here.

I love Nate’s pizza. The sauce and crust are perfect and if you happen to meet Nate himself, you’re in for a good chat. Like a good mom or grandmother, he may make you taste new slice (which you will love) and throw it in gratis. Thanks for putting the yum back in pizza.

I heard a lot of good things about this place so after along drive from down South I had to stop in. I got the pepperoni and the broccoli rabe/sausage slices. It was good but I personally liked the pepperoni better. The fresh basil were good but that was the first time seeing that on a Detroit style pizza like that. But in Brooklyn people like seeing fresh basil on their pizza so I get it. The staff was really nice and helpful. The prices were a little pricey though I paid $16.00 for 2 slices of pizza.

Wish it had more sauce and boldness to it and a little more thickness to it like pizzas in Detroit and really separate it from a New York style. Comes across straddling the line to try appease to a general crowd rather than truly embracing its roots. Would recommend the Honey Pepperoni Pizza adding a little sweetness and spice.

Granted this was a delivery from DoorDash but the pizza was not that enjoyable compared to other options in nyc.

Over-priced, even by NYC standard. The plain cheese pizza was pretty delicious with a salty crust. However, they didn't make our call ahead order until we got to the store which, is annoying.
