Honestly every time I meet one of they're staffers they are so friendly. Like my delivery guy made me feel like I did him a favor for opening up my door, that's how nice and friendly he was. What a nice place! The photo: Golden eel roll & Pepper Tuna Roll **totally recommend**
We’ve been ordering from this place for years. They have prices you can’t beat and decent quality fresh ingredients. Recently tried lobster sashimi, really loved it. Highly recommended place!
Incredible place. I came on a Friday. Everything tastes so fresh. Thank you so much for your service. If you don't know what to order, there are always recommendations.
We received a menu from this place in my mailbox. My wife wanted to pay a visit after reading the menu since she loves sushi. Once I entered, I noticed how clean and well-lit this place was. This is in contrast to a neighborhood full of restaurants that are on the dirty and unattractive side. The walls, decor, and furniture were all very stylish and worked together well. I ordered the vegetable teriyaki dish. It came with a salad that had a delicious ginger-carrot dressing on it. We had age tofu as an appetizer. It's crunchy outer-shell combined with a soft tofu inside was an interesting flavor contrast. The vegetable teriyaki had a light delicious sauce and was a nice-sized portion. I was very impressed with the owner who personally came to my table to apologize that they overcooked my dish without my knowledge and asked me to please be patient while they cook a new order for me. Now that's service! My wife's sushi order came beautifully presented decorated with a little tree. She enjoyed her dish. Our meal was capped off with an offering of watermelon slices which was yet another detail that made this place stand out among other sushi establishments. We ordered green tea ice cream for dessert. It was presented with a dallop of whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was very tasty without being too sweet. The workers in this restaurant were very pleasant. Overall, this place was a great experience for my family.
The fish is fresh. The portions are large. The selection is wide. The delivery is fast. Special mention to high end bamboo chopsticks. I don't give 5 stars. That it reserved for high-end / high class / outstanding food / immaculate service / dine-in places. This isn't one of them (there are none in Brooklyn IMO). This is also not a Japanese restaurant. It is a Sushi delivery place, and if you arrive with the right expectations, you will have a great experience. Some kitchen items leave a lot to be desired according to some reviews. Maybe. This is a Sushi delivery place. The rice could be better. Possibly. I eat Sashimi, so it doesn't matter to me. Some people were upset about lack of utensils. This place (and many others) don't put in utensils by default. There is a box on the order form that you should check if you want utensils. It's not hard. Just pay a little attention. And if you want extra wasabi or soya sauce, pick up the phone and call. They would put it in without any hustle. I suggest doing that because wasabi that comes standard with the food is a bit stale. The extra one will be fresh / made to order. Last time I ordered 4 items from lunch special menu + shumai and rock shrimp. That put me $60 back all told tip included. They showed up in 30 minutes and brought so much food, there were plenty of leftovers for the next day. And the fish is so fresh, it tasted good on the next day as well.
It's a good alternative for Sake if it's too crowded there. I was worried about the service, since most reviews were complaining about it. It was alright. They forgot some of our order but we didn't pester them too much because we were actually pretty full. I did appreciate how the salmon was so fatty. It was actually pretty good. And they didn't load the sushi pieces with a lot of rice which I appreciated. We went for lunch and it was only $14 before tax and tip which I think is a great price considering what you get. They have better rolls for dinner, but if you just want an easy AYCE sushi fix for cheap this place isn't bad.
The shumai may have been the best I've had. They were delicately crispy outside, tender inside and hot when they got to the table. Most of the sushi was fresh, but my tuna and avocado roll was borderline. Everything was plated nicely and my waitress was attentive without hovering. All in all it was a nice meal and I will probably be back.
Stopped here twice already, once for the sushi and second time for the hot entrees. Both times were only ok... Depends on what you order. The sushi rolls were fine in general but the spicy tuna pizza was flavorless. The Habachi orders were tasty (sauce) and the fried gyoza was good. Only thing, if you order the steak from the hibachi menu, know that it's like a chewy flat iron steak, not tender at all. The pork Katsu Bento box meal was a good value but the pork was a bit on the thin side. Grilled squid and soft shell crab were worth ordering.
Pre covid was among the best sushi spots in Brooklyn but quality has declined over the years, the last few times I ordered, I was embarrassed to serve to guests. Still get their menus under my door.
Came here this past Friday night for dinner, the restaurant was full and they had an obvious steady streamnif takeout orders being turned out. We came because the takeout menu and pictures online looked like this place would be reallly good. But, we were very disappointed by the service and quality. We ordered and it took over 30 minutes for anything to come out even miso soup. This was consistent across the entire restaurant's other patrons. Also per the pictures that I am posting each piece of sushi came with about a fist full of rice. If you want any fish with your rice I would suggest you go somewhere else. The cooked food came out in a pool of grease too. The only reason they are getting a 2 is because the place was clean.
We order a sushi tray tonight , the color tuna is scary . No taste like any fresh tuna. Will not order or eat in this place anymore with such bad quality seafood !
I ordered online for the price value - lunch special for 3 rolls but I now understand why the price was so low. In the picture, the salmon has no fat lines and it was the chewiest rubbery salmon i’ve ever had, I was genuinely shocked. The texture is as if i’m eating a twizzler roll, I wouldn’t order from here again for the salmon and raw fish, i’m not sure how the other rolls are. My Philadelphia roll also had a tiny slab of salmon in it I was really disappointed with my order. Also, their miso soup was so underwhelming it had barely any saltiness or flavor. - Update: I saw the stores reply to my review which was very unprofessional and unapologetic for the standards of their sushi. I would not support this store again, what a shame. - Update: They have now deleted their snarky reply to my review which shows that they were in the wrong. Wow never would I support such a disgusting and rude store in my life.
bro I ordered pick up and brought the food room and my little brother took a bite and got a staple stuck in his mouth and we have to go to the er cause of this so yeah don’t come here unless u want staples in ur sushi and kill u 😭😭
