Opiniones de One More Charm Brooklyn
delicious panang curry & fish cakes. service is friendly and obliging. the space is super cute, too. i'll definitely be back🥰
Delicious food. The server was very friendly. Ordered the lunch special. There's a good variety to choose from. I had the scallion pancake (must get) and drunken noodles with squid as my protein. Amazing value for the price.
A very cozy Thai restaurant with delicious dishes. We ordered the drunken noodles, curry with squid, crispy scallion pancake, and Thai iced tea. The servers were excellent and friendly. The restaurant also allows pets in their backyard patio which is a plus in my book. Overall, everything was great.
The place is really cute. I tried the Thai fried rice(chicken) and it was delicious, I really liked enjoyed my meal. I also tried their Thai ice tea and it was also amazing . The service was great. Food came out quickly and I was greeted by a nice friendly waitress.
I love this place. Every dish is packed with flavor. However, the default spiciness is mild, which I like, but you can adjust the level. Great sticky rice. Solid duck with little to no bones. Amazing Massaman Curry filled with meat and perfectly fried potatoes. Loved the sweet and savory Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Their fried wings are classic. The roti is different from what I’m used to - it’s flaky and crispy instead of doughy. For drinks, the Lychee Fizz is really refreshing with a balance of lemon and mint. The Thai Iced Tea is creamy. The Sparkling Lady tasted like candy so I wasn't a fan. 10/10 would recommend. On top of the food, the service is amazing and their backyard is decorated with purple flowers. Perfect for a date night or a nice hangout.
Excellent food. Had the lunch special and got to try the chive cakes and they were perfectly delicious. The steamed dumplings were surprisingly good as well. They were pretty big and not dry like they are at many other Thai places I’ve been to. The beef pad see ew was excellent. The portion was large and it tasted great.
Really love this spot! One More Charm is our go-to Thai place in Brooklyn. Whenever we’re craving Thai food, we always end up coming here. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and full of flavor, everything tastes authentic and perfectly seasoned. The vibe is relaxed and cozy, nothing fancy but super comfortable. Service is friendly and quick, and the prices are fair for the portion sizes. Definitely one of those neighborhood spots we keep coming back to 😊
I love this place! The food is delicious and the staff is pleasant and attentive. I just wish the space were a bit bigger because when it’s full the bench tables feel a bit cramped. Other than that it’s perfect!
Would have given 10 stars if there were 10! My friend had Pad Kapraw - I had drunken noodle (both were with tofu & vegetables ) . Although I asked for medium Spicy - it was too spicy for me - I should have said mild :) - I asked for some peanut sauce to maybe mix it in to tone it down a bit - and they offered to cook me up another plate mild . Top notch service ! And after eating and laying the check we sat for a good 10 minutes -+ - and they didn't give us the bike rush out. I will be returning for sure ! But next time I'll order my drunken noodle mild !!!! Did I mention the food was delish ! We had crispy spring rolls which did not disappoint . They were crispy - and not greasy at all - perfect ! Thank You !
Enjoyed this place after a walk through prospect Park with friends. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, waitress gave solid recommendations. I feel back on the drunken noodles, extra spicy (could've been spicier, but plenty flavorful). We sat outside, there was shade and hooks and fans. The staff were efficient and helpful.
Great casual place, my sister and mom went. I would surely recommend. We came in on a weekday. It was quiet, but the to go orders were flying out the door. Food - 5/5 : we ordered pad Thai with vegetables, pad and pad woon sen with shrimp. Very tasty. All could have used a little more spice though. Drinks were great as wells. Service - 5/5 : very quick and the server was patient. Atmosphere- 5:5 : very nice bar area, bathroom was clean, and there were plenty of tables.
One More Charm is a very cute Thai restaurant that has well-priced lunch special options. We came in during a Saturday afternoon and we're greeted by friendly, smiling staff. The menu system is a QR code website that makes paying and menu reading convenient. Many places that have small table setups have huge, oversized menus that make it awkward and very annoying to read through the menus, but One More Charm's thoughtful solution makes it a better experience. The staff is very attentive and will bus out any plates that are finished, I'm very pleased with the service! The food is also well-prepared and full of flavor! Highly recommend specifically the chive pancake appetizer, it has a very nice fried yet creamy texture. Definitely plan to stop again to try more of their great food!
I got the masaman chicken curry and spring roll lunch special. It was perfect on a chilly day. I hadn’t ate anything yet and it was 2pm so I was very hungry, and the portion size was perfect. Service was fast and the restaurant was very clean and well lit with nice music playing. I’d definitely go there again.
I ordered the lunch special with a spring roll, spicy pork panang curry, and tung thong appetizer. I highly recommend this place if you are interested in Thai curry. You can taste the herbs and spices very well. The sauce was well balanced, not too much fish sauce, and the right amount of sugar. Definitely a highlight of the neighborhood. The tung thong appetizer was a nice surprise. Boiled quail eggs in a fried wonton wrapper. It was a pleasant and light crunchy bite. The service was excellent.
Visited on Nov 11 Deciding on where to get some great Thai food (and searching Google Maps), I stumbled upon this little gem. The high ratings made me want to check it out. We walked in, greeted by the staff. It is small and quaint inside, about 7 2-seat tables, but does have some cute decor. Because of the size of the space, every time the door opened, we got a gust of cold air. The heat wasn't on when we arrived but they did put it on about 30 min later. Staff was very nice overall. Pricing isn't terrible for Park Slope but a still little high. Now the food...We ordered the curry puffs and calamari. We started eating but I still managed to get a pic. Both very delicious. Curry puffs were full of flavor and the calamari was just right texture and crunch. For the entree, we had the red curry and the green curry with chicken. Let me say, this was some of the best I've had in Brooklyn and NYC. I'd also give the Thai iced tea a 10 for flavor. I would definitely come here again (maybe in spring or summer) and eat outside in the back!
So insanely great! Everything was fresh, delicious and incredibly flavorful. Everyone was so nice who worked there too. It also smells amazing inside the restaurant. Everything tasted great, but my favorites were their crab fried rice, lychee fizz drink, summer fruit tea drink, green curry, sticky rice, and dumplings. Enjoy!
Review I love the lunch special options here. There are so many and you can choose an appetizer and it comes with a salad. Salad was just lettuce with a little bit of dressing but everything else was so flavorful and satisfying. We sat outside. And I really appreciate the waitress allowing us to do so. No one else was so she made special trips outside for us. The back yard is very nice, spacious and there is even a wooden hut with tables that have heat lamps. It was cozy and nice in there. It was a very nice environment to catch up with a friend. I really liked the spring roll. Perfectly fried and crispy. The tamarind chicken was also lightly fried perfectly and served with lots of veggies and a sweet tamarind sauce. I ordered sticky rice but got white rice, waitress checked in on us and quickly brought the sticky rice over and I don’t even think she charged the extra $2 for it which was nice. She was really friendly and nice. The Thai iced tea was one of the best I had. It had a really good flavor and not too sweet. I will definitely come back again. One downside is they didn’t have boba today. $20 for lunch and a drink - a little bit expensive but pretty typical for the area. And we sat there for about two hours and not rushed out.
The food here was delicious!! A hidden gem for Thai food. Well-designed space and pleasant ambient music. One can tell that the food was made with fresh ingredients and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We loved the thin sheets noodles of the Pad See Ew but it was a bit sweet for our preference and the rich flavor of the curry. This place is a must come when you're near the area.

Came here to celebrate my cousin’s graduation with a group of six. The place is quite small with just about four tables, so we should’ve made a reservation — but the staff was very kind and accommodating, even though we arrived close to closing time. They patiently arranged tables for us. The appetizers were the star — especially the wings and roti with massaman Curry was absolutely delicious. Basil fried rice and Pad Thai were also good. The red curry was okay, not the best. Prices were decent overall. Would definitely go back, just a bit earlier next time

I’m giving 3 stars because they are consistent. I don’t know if the chef is mad some days or what but there are days the food here is 10/10 and other days it’s solid 0. My go to is the Pad see ew and their Lychee drink. For the price I wish they would stay consistent in the quality of food
The place is very cute, lovely decorations, the atmosphere is upscale casual. The service was excellent, food came out fast and the staff was very attentive. The food was underwhelming in terms of spice despite the fact that two of the dishes we ordered had a spicy warning next to them. The noodle curry has a lovely flavor, the crispy duck was perfectly cooked and so delicious. The noodles in the drunken noodle dish were very overcooked. The Tom Yum fried rice was good but did not have the spice I expected.

Lovely establishment in Park Slope. The portions are a bit stingy from what any customer would expect. The food is pretty good.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant regularly for the past three months, so today’s experience was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I often come here to eat after visiting family at the nearby hospital, which makes this especially upsetting. Because of what happened tonight, I won’t be returning. My siblings and I have eaten here many times, usually ordering chicken wings, Thai fried rice, or basil fried rice. Tonight, we decided to try something different. My siblings ordered a curry-based soup with white rice, and I ordered pad Thai. Unfortunately, my siblings didn’t enjoy their dishes and couldn’t finish them, while my pad Thai was good. Since the kitchen was about to close, I shared my food with them instead of ordering additional rice, which we normally would have done. When the staff came to clear our table, I asked for a bowl to take my brother’s remaining curry home so I could adjust it to our taste later, my sister didn’t want hers at all so she wanted to discard it. Not once did we complain about the curry to them because we understand that cultural differences affect spices and flavors, and we were simply open to trying something new. What made the experience VERY uncomfortable was the staff’s behavior afterward. About five staff members were talking about us in their native language. My sister noticed one of them repeatedly side-eyeing our table to gesture toward us while talking. When my sister made eye contact with that person, waitress immediately came over with the payment machine. My sister vocalized what she had just saw, saying that she noticed they were talking about us, and also told the waitress that we’re going to pay for our food, we won’t get up to leave just because the food was returned, the staff member said nothing. It’s an extremely uncomfortable feeling to have an entire staff talk about you in a language you don’t understand, especially making us feel like we were about dine and dash. This experience left a very negative impression and is the reason we won’t be coming back. The atmosphere was completely off.
