Preguntas frecuentes sobre Oslo Coffee
Opiniones de Oslo Coffee Brooklyn
It’s pretty pricey. But I don’t like coffee or most coffee drinks so for me finding a drink I like was a win. The iced mocha with oat milk comes out to like $6. For hungover me it’s like a cup of gold.
I came here after a doctors appointment in the area and just needed a place to sit and read for a bit. I sat at the large table in the front and slowly lots of people started coming and sitting down and chatting with each other. All local to the area I found out. Especially loved local celebrity Mikey who was quick to chat me up, give me some health advice, and speak highly of his Oslo friends. Seeing this type of community in a local coffee shop felt so beautiful in a way. I’m so happy they have this place to come and chat about cameras, knit, introduce their visiting mother, or have their young children around. And they all met by just spending a bit of time off their phone and engaging with one another. I will be coming back and will be sat at the big table to chat a bit and meet some very kind folks.
The effort put into this establishment really shines through the smallest details - the high quality of the espresso drinks, the perfectly flakey croissants, and the daily Times newspaper for customers to peruse at their leisure are my personal favorites.
I’ll admit I’m not usually a fan of coffee for the taste. I drink it more for the caffeine than the flavor. But I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the iced mocha at Oslo Coffee. It completely changed my perspective. The drink had a perfect balance, not overly sweet, not too bitter. The texture stood out most. The combination of steamed milk and chilled coffee made it both rich and refreshing, especially on a warm day. It was flavorful without being overpowering, smooth without being heavy. This is easily one of the best iced mochas I’ve ever had and I’m already looking forward to coming back next time I'm in New York. Highly recommend even for non-coffee lovers like myself
I asked for a latte and got a cappuccino but honestly that was my fault. The barista knew better than me, and actually gave me what I wanted.
Only place remaining where one can meet their neighbors. Lovely group meet every morning. Bold and strong coffee I crave daily.
Probably THE BEST COFFEE I’ve ever had. Stumbled on it at the Wythe hotel while attending an event and tracked down the staff for the name. Immediately shipped 2 bags to my house. The Espresso blend is the only one I’ve tried but I can’t wait to try the others.
One of my favorite local coffee roasters. I picked up some whole beans for myself to make at home, and they tasted phenomenal freshly ground and brewed in the french press. Dining in is also nice. Coffee shop is very cozy and a place you would want to sit and work or read for a while in.
You want coffee? They got coffee. They don’t have WiFi but the coffee is good and the place is frequented by local - which means something. We met a guy named Mike who as “one of the originals - the leftovers.” Mike seemed to love his neighborhood and his friends but he didn’t mention the coffee. I will. Go here. Grab a cup of coffee and see if you can find one of the originals to have a conversation with.
Nice place around the corner, good croissants and pain au chocolat
Laptops are allowed, but no wifi - coffee is okay, but I got a somewhat awkward cortado, but I love the atmosphere!
Coffee filter is terrible bitter dark roaster No medium roaster no v60 or french press but kittles is available. No origin beans on drip blend only
There is no WiFi & outlet available and poor cellphone service (T-mobile is our carrier.) inside Oslo Coffee Roasters. It was not a good place for work but friends-gathering. We ordered their Latte and Mocha with latte art. The coffee was decent, smooth and creamy with no artificial flavor. The price is reasonable around Williamsburg area. However, we might not visit again or only for take-out due to internet status.
Asked for a cappuccino and got a latte - as soon as felt how heavy the cup was, I knew it was a cup of hot milk with a little espresso. Female Barista didn’t look like a happy camper.
