I've enjoyed a number of different wine bars over the years and Sauced is unique. There's no wine list to choose from. Staff talks to you about what you are looking for and then brings out a few choices for you to taste. The wines are unique, natural and mostly from different countries. Once we selected, we enjoyed a couple of glasses of different wines.We also ordered a charcuterie board that was filling and tasteful. The wait staff is informative, helpful and responsive. The environment is very relaxed and ... well... "cool." Overall, prices are about par for a wine bar in an urban setting.

French guy at the bar (sorry I didn't catch your name) was great. Great conversation about taste, will find something for everyone. Also, we had the absolute pleasure of having Gia serve us when we sat at a table. Not only was she super friendly, but she's also super knowledgable! She helped us pick another glass and sat with us for a minute making sure that we liked what we ordered before pouring full glasses. Honestly, aside from her wine knowledge, would be a great person to have a drink with in general. Sauced was great, and we'll be back. Thanks Gia! (And unnamed French guy, merci)

I celebrated my birthday at Sauced and had the best time. The wine and food was so good, the vibe was perfect, and the staff was amazing. Shoutout Christian he checked on us all night, brought all the fun energy, and made sure we were drinking the best bottles. Can’t wait to go back!

All time fav wine bar for Natural wines. Impartial since my wife’s import company Citadella Imports has her wines placed here. We’ve been through three separate wine buyers now all offering their own take on naturals. Love ordering off what I feel and not any particular menu. The owners are passionate and you can tell this place is built upon good times and good vibes. No other wine bars have the same feeling. I would say fun wine is their thing. The staff is fantastic. Always charismatic and happy to help or have conversations. It’s a bit loud so the pro tip would be to cozy up on the back deck when the weather is nice or in the back room.

Loved our experience at Sauced! Brody helped us and was able to give us amazing recommendations. We especially loved the gamay and orange wines. The grilled cheese was delicious as well! The backyard is also huge. Really great atmosphere and vibes all around, perfect for a date night or getting a group of friends together!

Cute and small wine bar, perfect for hanging out with friends or dates. The vibe is more relaxed, music not playing too loud so perfect for conversations. Service was excellent, my friend and I were helped by Malachi who made great suggestions after hearing it was our first time visiting. He was attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely be back!

I typically don’t leave google reviews but I just had to stop by to give this space their flowers. I reserved an outdoor table to celebrate by birthday for 20 guests in the late afternoon. The service for one was amazing. It was like having our own personal sommelier. They brought over wines based on our stated preferences, food, and clean glasses to replace the old throughout the afternoon into the evening. When we arrived, Sauced was backed with guests, seated out front, inside, and outback. The vibe was just so welcoming and inviting and high spirited. You can tell they’ve built an amazing community of patrons over the years. I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here so thank you Sauced. Consider hosting a special event or simply popping in with a friend or two to enjoy their amazing selection of wines.

Really lovely little wine bar, we had fabulous service from our waitress who really knew her stuff. Recommended a lovely acidic Spanish white which we loved! Pretty well priced for a bottle of wine. Highly recommend for a sunny arvo in Williamsburg.

Love the vibe on this wine bar! The staff is super friendly and provides great recommendations. Didn’t try the food but it looks delicious. The reason for the four (not five) stars is that they only have natural wine, so they’re missing out in my opinion. Maybe there could be at least 10% non-natural wines for those with that preference? A lot of French wines are very close to “natural” even though they don’t choose to brand themselves that way.

Cool wine bar in Brooklyn. Wine was amazing and food really nice. Good music, nice people around. However terrible service. I come from France and I know the kind of atmosphere the owner might have wanted to reproduce. But this blonde curly hair waiter was pushing me to close out the bill as soon as I can, I hardly have time to finish my drink that the glass is gone.. when I ask “do we have to pay for the bread” the answer was “we don’t give you food for free”, really rude and unnecessary. I feel like I’m here just for “paying something”. I really don’t like this and it’s a shame because the quality of drinks/food is another level… please improve your service !!!!!

Quick summary: One of the waiters ruined everyone’s experience and I’m never bringing anyone here again. I came here on a Sunday to gather with friends for my last get-together before leaving NYC. I specifically chose Sunday because I knew it would be slower and a safe bet for bringing a group — especially since a friend of mine had celebrated her birthday here with a huge group before without any issues. This place is known for being flexible and first-come-first-serve, so it seemed like the perfect spot. Everyone in my group was ordering drinks and food, and people were coming and going, all while consuming. There were other groups there too, and we were being respectful — yet one waiter seemed to single us out. He repeatedly told me to make my friends “drink more,” even though everyone had drinks or food in front of them. He even counted our group twice and kept pressing, despite confirming there was no one waiting to get in and that business was slow. When I went to go talk to him he wouldn’t let me speak, he shushed me and had the most pissy, entitled attitude (we’re past the “cool unbothered NYC attitude” at this point). Instead of enjoying my last night with friends, I spent it feeling watched and pressured while this waiter paced the patio and kept scoffing in our faces. What made it even clearer is that the other waiter was kind and accommodating, so the contrast in treatment was stark. What should have been a special night turned out stressful. I left disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend this spot at all if this person’s working. Whoever is letting this person work at Sauced is ruining their reputation.
