Opiniones de VSpot Brooklyn
We were taken care of tonight but Elle and wanted to especially write a review to sing her praises because she went above and beyond to take care of our group!! Will definitely return!!
VSpot is truly a vegan treasure, especially since they’ve been open for 20 years. It’s my first time. They also changed to weekends only due to financial struggles. However, it doesn’t take away from the hospitality and the food. I highly recommend stopping by. Also, if Elle is your server, she is THE BEST!
Food was phenomenal. Service was terrible. I definitely be returning but I think it'll have to just be for takeout.
I order pick-up from here all the time. The food is always consistently delicious. It's one of the vegan gems in the neighborhood, but I really don't think the place is just _for_ people that only eat plant based. It's for anyone that loves Latin food.
I've been hungry for these flavors without the long commute. Their diverse dishes all deliver on taste. The team balanced prompt assistance with polite interactions. The pricing is fair, the service quality high, and the food delicious. I'm looking forward to returning for more.
V-Stock is truly amazing—fresh, flavorful food and excellent customer service. The lentil soup was great (though I’d skip the avocado next time), and the crispy chicken sandwich and grilled chicken pasta were both fantastic. The potato empanada was packed with flavor. The place is very clean, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and seating. Their staff is super helpful and happy to move their light chairs to make space—very easy to navigate. A solid 10/10!
Love this spot! It's been me and my bestie good to restaurant when we can want a heafty meal, but still wanna be healthy lol. The flavor and Latin / Caribbean fusion is sooo tasty. Proof you don't need meat to eat GOOD. Also, I recently had their Oreo Blueberry Cheesecake and fell deeper in love. Also the staff is so accommodating. Again, I love this spot.
I picked this spot to eat with my sister because she's vegan, and I tend to have an aversion to meat substitutes. But a friend of mine said that I wouldn't even notice the difference here, and she was absolutely right. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was pretty cozy. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa (my favorite dish of all time). The chicharrones were SO TASTY, well seasoned, and had the perfect crunch to chew ratio. The rice and beans tasted like my Abuelita's, and the arepas were fresh. We'll definitely be back!
I tried it on a whim tonight wanted something new something healthy , and im glad i tried it! these were literally some of the crispiest tortilla chips I have ever had like ever, a main driver if not the driver of this review! and the garlicky kale fresh vibrant delicious not one stem in sight! the chicarron?! nailed it ! and the shell of the empanada? perfectly crisp! my only wish is that I didnt get delivery and that I had went to the restaurant to get all this goodness straight out the fryer!
Absolutely loved this place! I was here a few years ago because I had heard it was a Colombian Vegan place which is basically unheard of. The first time I was here, the food and service was great. I was there again this weekend and the food was incredible, prices were fair and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back soon!
This was my first visit to the Brooklyn location. It's always nice to find a vegan healthy restaurant with food that taste good & actually like the real (dairy) alternative. Got to the restaurant just before the happy hour ended & ordered a margarita. The drink was just ok. I did appreciate that it was not sweet but it was missing flavor. Now on to the main event.....Nachos & Quesadillas. Nachos were very fresh. I would love it if the tortillas chips were baked instead of fried. The vegan cheese & beans, salsa & guacamole were all great. The quesadillas were equally great. Looks like the use Ezekiel type tortillas & it definitely feels like you're eating healthier. The filling was good & i liked that the plantains inside didn't make it taste sweet. I would like the food to have a little kick....maybe option of fresh jalapenos would be nice. For dessert it was the Brownie Sundae. I was not so impressed but my son devourered it. What kid doesn't like sugar? That's why I am writing this review...lol. For me the brownie was too gooey & I've had much better vegan ice cream. I find the not so good vegan versions of desserts always contain too much sugar. This wasn't the case here but flavor & texture were missing. Overall it was good food experience & I recommend dining here for a good vegan meal.
First time ordering. Food was packed well, and had the perfect temperature. The empanadas was full of flavor in each bite, very tasty and flavorful. The vegan Philly steak sandwich was filling and tasty. The vegan drumsticks were dry and didn't have much taste to it. I didn't particularly like the texture of it. I didn't enjoy the salad. I don't like ice very lettuce, even if it's mixed with kale. I ate the avocado though. Overall I'll give this order 7 out of 10. I would order again and try other menu items. I would order the empanadas again.
This place was really great. There aren't nearly enough Latin fused vegan places so when I heard of this place I just knew I had to check it out. I tried the empanadas (Colombian, red bean and Jamaican), the hubby ordered the lasagna, salad and garlic bread and I had la Bandeja Paisa and was very satisfied with my order. Just like the traditional Colombian version it was made to model it had so much and was very satisfying. The place is small but spacious enough to eat comfortably and without having to be cluttered unlike some of the other vegan restaurants I've visited in the city. The drinks here are decent. The margarita was strong, and the red wine was pretty good, and if you get lucky and catch it during happy hour you're looking at $5-$6 a glass. I recommend it to all vegans looking to get a Latin inspired meal. Price wise I'd give it $$-$$$ out of 5. Enjoy!!!🤗
this place used to be one of my favorite vegan spots back when they still had a bar. nowadays it's usually empty and yet they somehow still don't have enough staff. terrible wait times just to be seated because all staff is usually hanging out in the kitchen. they've cut the menu in half - no more sandwiches AND they got rid of my beloved avocado fries. maybe best to avoid while they figure things out.
Super overpriced, and if you’re looking at menus from Google, I guarantee you that the prices have gone up. I went on a Friday night and they had HORRIBLE stand up comedy. Like bombing and getting off stage because it’s so bad. Many of the jokes just seemed misogynistic and homophobic or just punching down. The waiter was so distracted and got TWO orders wrong at my table. He then proceeded to do bad stand up on stage and we had to wait to get our boxes and checks. Literally felt like I was being held hostage and he made jokes about how no one who works there is vegan and they don’t like vegans. I got the spicy breakfast burrito (not what I ordered but the waiter insisted) which was okay but not worth the price. My friends did like their spaghetti chicken parm and Philly cheese steak plus the carrot cake was pretty good.
