La Postal Bucerias

My favorite cafe in Bucerías, is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience. Every time I visit PV, I make sure to stop by this place for their delectable affogato and mouthwatering pizza. My go-to pizza is the Filippo, a true masterpiece that is light, crispy, and bursting with flavor. But the real star of the show is their affogato, an unparalleled dessert that has set a new standard for me. No other cafe in PV can match the quality and taste of their affogato. Despite the 40-minute walk it takes to reach this hidden gem, I wouldn’t hesitate to make the trek. The experience is simply worth it.

Great service and wonderful pizzas with thin and great crust. We also had the mango gelato and it’s a “10” out of ten! As good as Florence or Zagreb.

Great patio dining in hip beach town Bucerias. Service was great and they will basically make you whatever you want. We had the lunch special which was pizza, salad and a beer for a fair price. Food was fresh and tasty. The arugula salad comes with lots of fresh, sliced garlic and a light lemon vinegarette. So good!!

Great spot to grab food and drinks! As a vegetarian I loved that they had so many pizza options and even let me substitute some meat options for veggies. Staff was very welcoming (spoke both English and Spanish) and were friendly. The pizza was delicious and the drinks were so good.

La Postal is a lovely place to spend time with friends and loved ones. The food is really good, definitely worth the price. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is really pretty as well!!

Great atmosphere and great food. The patio was beautiful at night with all the lights. Service was excellent. We had salmon carpaccio, bruschetta and pizza. All delicious! Drinks and gelato also great!

Delicious pizza in a lovely outdoor setting. Our server was swamped as the love music was awesomene and clearing drawing a lot of groups in for dinner. He was very good and was so eager to ensure everyone was well served. The pizza was fantastic, baked on a wood fire in a brick oven with a variety of fresh ingredients. Their was a good selection of beers and basic cocktails. We had the mexi Caprese which was delightful. Overall our favourite dining experience so far in the area!

Oliver was amazing host. Food was up fast and was delicious. We shared pasta and a pizza. The dipping sauces were good the white one was amazing. Sad we forgot to buy some extra when we left

Terrific spot, a really unique layout. The pizza is great, I had the Bollywood pasta - it was fantastic, I've never had anything like it. Ferrero Roche gelato for dessert, yum! A very young staff gives the place a young vibe and the service was great.

Al fresco dining underneath the trees and trellis's. We ordered pizza, pasta from la postal on 3 separate occasions. Twice we dined in and once we had it to go. The servers are friendly and speak English and are more than helpful with tourists. The food comes out quick and is tasty. Mid range prices. Sangria is good, Cervezas are cold and they bring out milk for the kids. After dinner you can get icecream at the takeout counter. 59p for one scoop, 112p for two scoops. Good flavor selection. Lots of street parking. Right off the beach.

Amazing Italian fare in a relaxed setting. I had the pasta bolognese with Italian sausage, the Missus enjoyed pasta pomodoro with mushrooms, we shared some bruschetta stacked with some tomato and basil awesomeness. All of it was excellent. We saw others sharing pizza as well. Clean place, friendly and welcoming service. Will definitely be coming back, its totally worth crossing the pedestrian bridge or catching an Uber or taxi if you're in the town center. Highly recommended.

I’ve come here a lot with my boyfriend, and we really enjoy it. The food is great, and the atmosphere is nice because there are so many trees around you. The service is always good as well.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Bucerias. The Pizza is excellent, among the best in town. This time we were served by Nico, who took great care of us with just the right amount of space to enjoy ourselves. The atmosphere is amazing, the outdoor dining room is under a canopy of beautiful old trees, and live music is here regularly. I could not recommend this place more highly. It's been a staple of our visits here for more than 10 years.

Highly recommended. We went there with our family of 7 people and had some appetizers and a bunch of different kinds of pizzas. Everyone loved it! Very good cocktails. Great service

Our server was Liz, gracious, kind and exceptional service. We would return because of her. We noticed this restaurant a few times before coming this evening. Beautiful live music, atmosphere and absolutely delicious thin crust oven baked pizza. What a great place to spend a couple of hours i the evening, under the lights, eating, sipping wine and listening to wonderful Spanish music. Try it out. Ross and Jo L.

I figured I would pop on here and review this, even two years later. Two years ago, I came here with family and it was simply amazing. Amazing service, perfect ambiance.. This place deserves 5 stars because I am still craving the pizza to this day. This may be the reason I will come back to Bucerias! 5 stars a little late and all the way in Canada 🇨🇦

We had a couple of pizzas. They serve forno oven thin crust pizzas and they were magnificent.

Very busy place in the middle of Bucerias, featuring pastas, pizzas, and salads. Large servings, and great courtyard atmosphere. Live music was very good that evening and not too loud where you can't have a conversation. The seating is comfortable and there are plenty of cost tables throughout out the restaurant. Drunks are also reasonably priced with a few good selections. Expect a line up for this place when it is high season.

I arrived in bucerias and was hungry since I had not eaten much during my trip. I asked the owners of the hotel for suggestions and they mentioned La Postal even though they were not convinced about it. Hungry and with hurry for food we decided to give La Postal a try. My wife ordered the arugula salad and a vegetarian pizza. I ordered the spaghetti. We washed it down with wine for my wife and a soda for me. It took a while for the food to arrive but when it did we were not disappointed. The food was flavorful. The service was slow but we ate and had a good conversation with a couple next to us. It was a good time. The only thing I didn't like is that they let dogs run around the restaurant begging for food. A couple brought their dog and it kept coming to our table looking for food. I was uncomfortable sending it away without being rude. Other than that, the food was okay, the drinks were fine and the atmosphere nice. Other than the slow service it was a good experience. I rated it a 4 star because of the dogs. I like pets but not when I am trying to eat.

The pizzas have thin, crunchy crust and they make their own pasta. The food was delicious but I wouldn’t recommend the drinks. We had a margarita and a red sangria. Sangria didn’t taste fruity and more like a watered down red wine. We did dine-in and also ordered take out a few days later.

The pizza was very good and we will order it again. The pasta did not blow us away. It's definitely better than mezzogiorno but not as good as Toscana Mia. However the location, prices, ambiance, and service was all very good. I would recommend this restaurant first if you're looking for Italian.

We went to the restaurant recently, food was excellent but service wasn't great... the homemade pasta is amazing. We tried it again, this time ordering through Uber Eats. Food was prepared quickly and was fresh and delicious (we ordered both pizza and pasta).

Pizza and focaccia were barely edible. Their pizza crust is the worst we ever had. The parpadelles bolognese were good. They brought one pizza after half the group was done and another one when we were all done. Limonades were good. Music was live and not too loud. We do not understand how other reviewers could rave about the food. We are also light eaters, but didn’t feel full.

I have been a customer since you opened years ago. I have always had great pizzas. Ordered 3 pizzas last night for take outside since I have a fractured ankle. 2 of the pizza orders were incorrect. Ordered a la Postal which was missing the orgonzola cheese and a Hawaiian pizza WITHOUT for my sister in law who is lactose intolerant. It came WITH cheese. Unacceptable.

Nice location and atmosphere, but that’s where the positives end. The drinks were underwhelming, and the food was bland and overpriced for what it was. We had a salad, pasta, and pizza—the core of the menu. The pasta was forgettable, and the pizza was fine for kids but nothing noteworthy. No culinary risks were taken, and none should be expected.

Sadly, we were very disappointed by La Postal. Though the setting and ambiance are nice, I can honestly say that I’ve never had such terrible focaccia and pizza in my life - and we had two different kinds of pizza. The pasta was average - perhaps the same quality you’d get at Olive Garden. To call this food “Italian” is a huge offense to Italy and any Italians that might venture into this restaurant. Additionally, the currency conversion rate of 15MXP:1USD is a scam. As of today (12/29/25), the actual rate is 17.96MXP:USD. As a result, everything on the menu costs over 19% more than stated if you pay in USD.
