Opiniones de Abyssinia Ethiopian Cuisine Buffalo
Two of us split the veg combo platter & it was okay for a light lunch. First time I wasn't served rolled injera (besides what the platter was lined with) would have liked 2 portions because we kinda ran out of the injera on the platter before we finished the toppings.
Great service and delicious food. Ordered a couple items to try the variety of options available. Tried the combination platter as well as the Beef Tibs sandwich. Both were flavorful and seasoned well. The sandwich was well made and came with a little salad. The platter was stuffed with chicken, beef, egg, and veggies. If you're looking to try Ethiopian food, give spot a try!
Honestly my favorite Ethiopian food and fastest made in Buffalo. Awesome prices awesome quality. Located in the hidden gem Westside Bazaar This place pumps out some authentic Ethiopian cuisine. Definitely a must try. Very healthy food with some unique spices.
My fiance and I had such a wonderful birthday here ♡ hope it's open for a whole lot longer because we had such an incredible time. The food, dishware, everything was amazing. Whenever we're in town we always make plans to come here!!
This was authentic, delicious Ethiopian cuisine! The whole location is a sort of coop for various businesses to live. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly. Everything was made fresh and you can watch them cook! I can't recommend this place enough.
Staff were friendly, restaurant space was clean and the menu offered written descriptions and photos. All items seemed to be served on their signature crepe-esque base with a nice lemony tang. Large portion size and excellent presentation - they do an excellent job representing the country and the food.
Loved it! We ordered the veggie combo, chicken tibs, and beef alecha wot -- all spot on. We will for sure return when we visit again. If we lived nearby, this place would be our date night of choice.
Absolutely delicious, the food tastes amazing and the portion size is really good as well. A must try in Buffalo.

Ate here for the first time today. Delicious food! Fast wait time! Make sure to specify dine in otherwise you might get your food to-go. I love the affordable healthy succulent vegan option with the combination vegetable platter. Worth every cent!
Have been eating from them since they were located on the Westside. Food is always delicious and I am so happy that they make kitfo, which is my favorite dish! I always get Gomen and Ayib with it, extra injera. Ordered on Friday and it is now Tuesday and I am ordering the same thing again🥰 everything is very fresh.
Best spot in Rochester. Great food that is always so well spiced and delicious. Sure it may take some time to get your food but it is worth the wait. The injera is nice, spongy, and tangy. People who work there are always splendid. It is worth going in person to experience this. Anyone reading this, this is your sign. Go here today.
Amazing service and delicious food. Plenty of variety to get you full, anjara meat combination is the best 🔥 🔥 🔥

The best Ethiopian I’ve ever had in Buffalo. And the owners are amazing people as well. Get the Vegetarian Combo platter!
Good food! Generous portions and good pricing. Please note that this location is INSIDE the downtown bazaar and has an entrance on Washington st as well. we had trouble finding it. 2-3 people could easily split one dinner and some sambusas.
Ethiopian food at Buffalo Bazaar is an absolute gem! The rich flavors and vibrant dishes make it one of the best spots in town—definitely a must-try for food lovers!

I've eaten here for years and it's always been great, but my last visit the chicken tibs were good but the injera was cold and didn't seem fresh, the veggie combo didn't seem fresh either, I feel like a lot of this stuff was taken out of the refrigerator and just reheated.

It pains me to say this, but the food at Abyssinia has gone *way* downhill since the move to the new space. During the pandemic I ate takeout from them frequently at the West Side bazaar. It was always fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. That wasn't true the night I ate here, and the service was terrible -- the guy working there entirely forgot our order, even though it wasn't super busy.

Not sure what all the high ratings were for. The entire experience left a lot to be desired. Food was okay. They took the order wrong. By the time the food was served the injera was already cold, it wasn't soft and fluffy. I ordered the combination platter, the food was a mixed bag: the cubed beef was salty! Best part of the platter was the cabbage, potatoes and carrots, fork tender and seasoned just right. The portions were small compared to the pictures posted. You have to pay credit card transaction fee regardless of how much you pay! Located in a building that was turned into a food court, nicely decorated.
