Kornerstone Cafe & Juice Bar

Kornerstone juices are the best. I have a 5 year old kiddo that comes home with all sorts of plagues. For the past two years I have been drinking their Flu Away magic drink, and knock on wood, I have not been sick. ( Most years I would get sick twice a year). They even deliver juices to our house every Wednesday! Also, Jamie (owner?) has been great to work with for deliveries!

I love Kornerstone! That’s my go to place for coffee before work. They have a great seasonal menu for different coffees. It does get a little busy in there for breakfast and lunch but my favorite is the conversations I have with both ladies that work there. They are both friendly hard working ladies and make my day!!

Very much enjoy the food, coffee, and atmosphere. The staff and management are pleasant, helpful, and help make the experience good. Go here all the time.

I come in often for breakfast, lunch, and coffee depending on the day. They remember my name and how I like my orders which makes me want to come back. It's a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The food is also very good - the soups and smoothie bowls are my usual orders.

I highly recommend Kornerstone Cafe. It has the best coffee and cold brew around, and the lattes are great and strong! The staff is wonderful and highly knowledgeable about the many menu choices.

This is place is absolutely fabulous!! Everything is so fresh and tasty and nourishing, and the prices are extremely fair. I’ve only ordered takeout, but I’ll definitely check it out in person soon. The little smiley faces they draw on all my takeout containers next to my name are so sweet and always make my day too!

Great atmosphere and bright and airy. Fabulously smooth coffee drinks. The Vegan "Chicken" Salad is fresh and filled with apple pieces, walnuts, and grapes. Refreshing! Was pleasantly surprised with the variety of gluten free bread options! The gluten free everything bagel was delicious... light, fluffy, and amazing toasted with cream cheese. It's so hard to find gluten free bread options but I'm happy to report that this is a spot that has a good selection! Highly recommend if you like smoothies, juices, and overall simply fresh and clean food items that you'll enjoy eating. Although it may seem a touch pricey, believe me, the quality is well worth it!

Vegan choc chip cookies are fantastic. Many coffee flavors, iced and hot, generous and plentiful cream & sugar bar, healthy fresh food, friendly staff. Very clean and order online and pick up option. Great to work in this building and have available!

Kornerstone is a local Buffalo business that started started roasting their own beans nearly twenty years ago. The roaster located in Kenmore provides for the coffee needs of the local offices and business nearby. They also sell beans by the pound with the option to select single origin or flavored roasts that are then made fresh and delivered to the cafe for you to pick up. The smoothie and juice menu is arranged in descending order from less sweet to sweetest, with each option being very well balanced. Having had almost everything on the menu, my recommendation is the Crusher smoothie. It’s a nice balance of coffee and peanut butter that gives a solid boost to your day.

I get my morning coffee here every day and the staff is always pleasant. The prices are little high for the size of the food items but I can tell the cost is in the quality fresh ingredients. No complaints and my favorite is the Belgian Waffle with fresh berries, I would recommend stopping in and checking them out for sure

I love a healthy option and Kornerstone was just that. I am not from the Buffalo area - in fact, I'm from the Midwest, so I found Kornerstone on a Google search for coffee near me. We stopped in around 9:00am on a Friday, and it was not busy at all. My husband and I ordered our usual 1 iced and 1 hot vanilla latte. I added sugar free vanilla and almond milk to my iced latte. I can appreciate a cafe with sugar free options and milk alternatives. My iced latte tasted very good, however, for whatever reason, my husbands hot latte tasted watery. We literally ordered the same drink and his tasted terrible. And one other note on the iced latte - they gave me one of those paper straws, and it did not hild up well for very long. In addition to our coffee, we order the PB&J Acai Bowl to share. And it certainly is a sharable serving size. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for the preparation of the acai bowl which I can also appreciate. But if you are on a time crunch, I would encourage ordering something that's ready to go. I think most of their menu items are prepared fresh. Hot top: I found out that the offer online ordering too if you prefer to grab & go. The menu offers not only generically healthy options, but also options for vegetarians and vegans alike. Such a good thing in today's day and age. If I lived in the area, I would probably frequent Kornerstone. I would love to have been able to explore their other menu items: fresh pressed juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, other breakfast items. The dine in option is open, the dining area is clean and well-kept. The cafe is decorated with some vintage, old brick masonry vibe. In reading other reviews, I can deduce that this cafe is local, and I always like to support local when traveling!

The long counter, displaying their goods and beverages is airy and pale in color, and spans most of one side. The rest is an inviting open area with tons of seating. You can see the other businesses and the hallway through the large glass walls in the back, and it makes it feel like it is part of a larger complex (which it is) but it doesn't feel cold- it keeps its charm and inviting atmosphere. The coffee was delicious, and the food options were varied enough so anyone would be able to find a snack or meal. I can’t wait to go back again.

I love the parfaits. The menu items are a bit pricey; 2.99 for a toasted bagel add my iced chai latte $8.00. Its convenient when im rushing as to i can order online although most times my items are never ready for pickup. I give 3 stars for the cleanliness and great customer service.

I had another...ok experience but was hurting for a coffee and decided to give Kornerstone another chance. I can't tell if it's the coffee or the syrup but my honey lavender latte was BITTER in a way coffee should not be. I'm also very confused why an iced beverage costs more than a hot version of the same drink. It's less milk to make room for ice and you're not taking the time/energy to steam milk so please make it make sense. This is one of the only places I've ever seen charge more of an iced beverage. Unsure if I'll be back. Very disappointed.

This place is awful, as I approached this establishment I was completely discombobulated on how I would enter and where the store is located. The place is clean but the food is awful and I would be perfectly okay with the prices if the food was adequate for consuming. I ordered a smoothie that seemed appealing to me but, when I tasted it my body came over with repulsion. No human should ever have to consume and experience such disgust in their life. What they are serving is cruel and isn’t fit for human consumption.

The food is ok but there are two people there one is pleasant the other person isn't, the atmosphere is dead aside from that, the store manager at Larkin is rude, and unpleasant, I felt that I was being judged an discriminated against in that place. Particularly in Larkin-Ville which is unfortunate because so many people have taken the time out to be inclusive towards everyone in Larkin. Its a downer/ I will not be giving them my service anymore. To be perfectly honest the food is not bad but they are understaffed and not approachable at all. In addition the manager got my order wrong than took the liberty of yelling at me about how I needed to get the sandwich she made that I did not order. I decided I wouldn't ask for my money back nor would I leave the food but I will just let her know that she was very unpleasant unkind and mean. Had she just told me she thought I place a order for a "turkey sandwich an it was a mistake an asked if I could wait while she remade it I would of told her sure no problem do not worry about it. However; she was just rude. Everyone is human but that wasn't my first unpleasant experience there that was my very last. She apologized and I left but I won't be back, there are so many other places that have been kind. I refuse to go where I am not welcomed.
