Rizzo's is known for its friendly staff, large portions, and reasonable prices. The chicken parm is a standout dish. Some customers have experienced slow service due to understaffing, especially on busy nights.

Judy was great and the food was delicious! Bill the bartender was a pleasure. Quick service, tasty food, and great atmosphere.
One of my best experiences at a restaurant. The food was delicious and service was one in a million by Judy. Ordered the mozzarella slabs which were out of this world with the home sauce on the side. Got Buffalo chicken pizza and it was the closest thing to actually eating wings. Also had the Brasciole and it was melt in your mouth. Even the bread and garlic butter was fresh flavourful. Glad we were able to find this gem in Tonawanda
Very friendly service and nice ambience. The food is decent. Not the best italian ever, and not that different than you can get anywhere else, but not overpriced thankfully.

Once again, wife and I had a delicious meal!
Best chicken parm in the world! It would make Buccigross proud!!!
Portions are perfect Food was very good.
Delicious food and great service!
Delicious food at reasonable prices
Nice pleasant 👌 place for dinner 🍽
Nice family atmosphere
Old school Italian restaurant!
Great service.
Great Italian !!
Just had dinner at RIzzos and it was great! The arancini’s were fantastic! Husband had pizza said it was very tasty! The cannoli was scrumptious! The Waitress and manager were very nice and very attentive! Nice family restaurant and reasonably priced menu!
Food is very good, but on our particular visit, we only had one waitress. She had multiple parties.
Rizzo's is back and better than ever. Many haven't been back in years and I'd highly recommend going. Mike Rizzo has done a great job re-opening this place and getting back to its original roots. Greg (Manager) really cares and has done a fantastic job. He genuinely cares about the experience that people have here. You really can't beat the food specials ($9.99 Chicken Parm on Wednesdays). Prices still seem like pre-pandemic prices. Food is fantastic all-around and it's a solid bar experience as well. So happy it's back!
My husband and I come here for the chicken parm on Wednesdays. It's delicious and Judy always greets us and takes great care of us. We love this place.
First visit and had a nice meal. We tried the Chicken Parm, which was delicious. The homemade bread was a pleasant surprise. Our server Judy was excellent. Glad we tried it tonight. We will come back...
I fell in love with their food when I moved across the street from them a couple years ago, they closed down for what seemed the longest time I literally looked out the window of my home daily hoping for movement. Their back open and I have to say their Chicken Parmigian is the best I’ve ever tasted. Wednesday night has become Chicken Parmigian night in my home and hopefully will be for a very very long time. And thank you to the amazing ppl working there terrific bunch of people. ♥️ The best of the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beth Hanrahan Town of Tonawanda
We absolutely love Rizzos. Phenomenal food and we love the chicken parm on Wednesday's! Adam is the best waiter and we always look forward to going back.
Don't normally write reviews but, this is worth mentioning. Great food, great portions, friendly waitress. Great experience, will definitely be back in the future.
Great waiter. He was very friendly with great service. The food was excellent.
Always a great experience at Rizzos! Stop in and try the true Italian cuisine, always great food and drink specials daily!
Judy M. is the most attentive server ever.Enjoyed the chick parm, and the bread with dipping oil....OMG...DELICIOUS...CHEESECAKE OMG ALSO
Good food, good service, was out of a few dishes but everything we had was good and delicious.
Wednesday dinner special Chicken Parmesan was delicious..
Lovely service, great value and even better food. Would recommend and will come back.
Popped in with my mom on the way to the airport. Food was tasty and the server was super friendly and awesome.
The food was yummy the server was friendly. I would definitely go back
Great restaurant, good food, and good service. Fair prices.
All food was of excellent quality as was the service. Highly recommend this gem.
Everything was awesome...l had the chicken Parmesan... excellent
Daley specials are a great deal. Food is always good .
Great food. Large portions. Very kind staff
The food is wonderful. Prepared fresh, with many home-made Italian specialties. The atmosphere is very nice, casual, sports bar like with many TV screens for viewing games. But also a relaxing atmosphere with light music. The service is great. Our waitress Judy was nice, friendly, efficient and welcoming. I highly recommend Rizzo's! Their eggplant and chicken Parm were the best I have had.
Wonderful place for Italian food. My favorite is the chicken parm but recently tried their pizza and that was great too! Judy- one of the servers there does a great job at seeing we have a fabulous evening. Great Place!
Love Rizzo's. They are always super friendly and the food is amazing. I've had their Brunch and Dinner, you really can't go wrong with either. There is something for everyone. Love their Chicken Parmasean and bread with pesto. Highly recommend.
This was recommended and it did not disappoint. Our server Greg was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our time there. The food was delicious. The chicken parm was everything and more that I was told. Go I promise you'll enjoy it
Chicken Parm & Lasagna 😁😋 bread dipping sauce 🤤 go to favorite all the time!!
Greg is great. Is always friendly service is always good and fast. Food is awsome
A local favorite for many years! Chicken parm and lasagna are spot on as is everything else!
My wife and I are always on the search for authentic food. This place was it. Definitely top five on my list for Italian. Vodka sauce was perfect. Pasta was perfect. Meatballs were possibly the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Food and drinks are reasonably priced (all things considered). Service was awesome thanks to Judy. We’ll be back for sure.
I haven’t been here for a while and am going to be a regular again! We were greeted by Greg as soon as we walked in and he was our server as well. He was extremely friendly and attentive. He recommended the Lasagna special, which was excellent, and we shared a combo appetizer. The mozzarella slabs and potato skins were as good as they used to be. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great service and good food.
We love coming to this restaurant! It’s a hidden gem! All the staff are very amazing — attentive and friendly (Anna, Greg, Clay, Judy). The food is delicious, very reasonably priced and the portions are substantial. We have never been disappointed when visiting Rizzo’s!
Amazing chicken parm. Very friendly servers and a very homey atmosphere. My new wednesday dinner spot. Staff went above and beyond helping with my 88 year old grandmother.

Delicious chicken parm. Great salads.
Food was ok. Pricey
Great service and food was very good. The only negative is they could use some new silverware and plates.. they have seen their days, pretty rough looking.
There were 4 of us at dinner on Wednesday, 04/27/2022. The food, drinks and service were all excellent!!!
Unfortunately the menu online is not the same as the menu available at the Eggert Rd location. Chicken Parm was delicious though. One waitress for the whole place. She did a good job but they could have had summertime else to help her out on a Fridsy night.
Great specials on weekdays. Very good food and reasonable prices. Decent wine list and beer assortment. Friendly service , clean and contemporary decor. 4 star rating is not meant to be negative at all - just a very good assessment 👏 Would probably give 4 1/2 if possible
We visited on DJ Trivia Thursday. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The tables are kinda small, but the waitress put a couple more next ours to give us room to spread out, which was very nice. The pizza we has was good and you could taste the "Italian" in it. ~We will be back.
Rizzo's was extremely under staffed for a valentine's day Friday. There seemed to be confusion about who was a host vs a waiter vs a busser vs a chef. This caused extra long wait times. However, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff while overwhelmed were super nice. Will definitely be back.
This was good solid Italian food close to my house. I enjoy my pasta with meat platter. It hit the spot with a taste red sauce. Judy was out waitress and she was a delight. We had a good size party and she was on top of her game. Go there if you want a nice comfortable meal with family. Our party love the lasagna and the aranchini were my faves!

Wish there was a little bit more pride taken when my dinner was prepared. Charred is an understatement.
Food was excellent. Service could be better.
Food was good, but need a better menu.
Food was not that great. Over priced.
Very clean restaurant, good service, but the food is subpar. Ordered caprese and was surprised to see dried basil on it, I found this super unusual because usually it’s served with fresh basil so a little disappointing.
Large plates, chicken parmasean was fantastic, Weds. Special. Great service.
Didn't record our reservation, but they were able to seat us anyway. Neglected to mention that they were operating on a very limited menu, which we found out when the server approached us. It was not what we were looking for. We did not stay for a meal.
We had a great waiter named Adam but for the first time I was extremely disappointed with my meal except for the house salad with blue cheese which was delicious. I ordered the artichoke appetizer again because the first time I had them they were beyond delicious. This time they were on the dry side and heavily seasoned with red chili flakes I was not expecting. Then I ordered the stuffed shrimp scampi, the shrimp were over cooked and chewy. I didn't complain but I gave my husband a bite to make sure it wasn't me he said the same thing. Adam didn't hesitate to take it off the check. We did find out they were short a chef so I hope they can get back to the delicious food they had before. I would like to give them another chance.
First time going here last night, we made reservations online 2 weeks in advance. We still waited at the door for almost an hour. Thing is no one even acknowledged us for like 45 minutes ,we almost left. Lots of people waiting, some did leave. Finally got to a table and it seemed there were only 2 waitresses for the entire place. Thing is ,there were some empty tables ,they were busy but I wouldn't say it was overly busy. Over another 1/2 hr. wait to even be acknowledged at our table. Our waitress was nice and very apologetic but she seemed very scattered. ,we gave her our order and waited another long 45 minutes for our food. The food was very very good, fresh and piping hot. But unless you dont mind a long long wait with waitresses that can't handle a dinner rush then go here and try the chicken parm is was good! If a business is going to offer daily specials with such good food you would think they'd hire another server to help. Js!
Rizzo's was one of ny favorite spots for years. We met friends for dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant had 3 occupied tables. Our server was great. But the rest of the place has really fallen off in the recent years. The chicken parm is still great. But they now serve the bread with oil in a tiny sauce cup instead of a side plate or bowl like they used to. The fish was pretty rubbery. And $12 for spaghetti and meatballs on special is ludacris.

So, Rizzo's Casa Di Italia used to be a restaurant we looked forward to visiting. A traditional Italian Restaurant with good food and good service, in a comfortable casual setting. Imagine how pleased we were to see them on the Buffalo Restaurant Week list, with some very appealing offerings. To say it was a "disaster" would be a compliment to what we experienced that night. I'll start at the beginning. We called to make a reservation, but got to voicemail with a promise to return the call. OK, no problem. BUT, after 2 days, nobody called back. So I called again. Voicemail again. This time, we DID get a callback and were able to make the reservation. It didn't matter though... read on. We arrived at the reservation time (5 minutes early, actually). There were 2 people waiting ahead of us. BUT NOBODY greeted us (or them)... we just waited in the alcove. OK, they're a little behind. Then, more people arrived... then more... then more. So, there were 15 people crammed into the alcove and, still, NOBODY even greeted us. 10 minutes went by... 15... 20... Still, nobody even acknowledged the crowd in the alcove. One of their older guests, with a cane, was there. WE (the other guests) looked around to find a chair so she could sit. Finally, someone came out to ask people if they had reservations and "how many," etc. No apology or mention that we've been waiting for a long time. AND, then, she disappeared for again for another 10 minutes. What???? I did find humor looking into the dining area. One of the men was assigned to cleaning tables and assisting the servers. He brought water to one of the tables (a table of 6): It took 3 trips to the kitchen... 2 glasses at a time. I was falling over with laughter that nobody suggested a tray that could hold 6 glasses of water. AND, he cleaned the tables the same way. He'd pick-up 2 dishes at a time and off to the kitchen - too funny! I guess they never heard of a "bus box". No wonder there were at least 8 open tables (more than enough to accommodate those of us who were waiting) that needed cleaning, but the process was so bad, it was funny. We were finally seated, after 30+ minutes of waiting. OK, you probably want to know about the meal, huh? It didn't get any better! When a server finally showed up, after a long wait at the table, she asked which wine we were having (part of the Restaurant Week Special). We ordered the Pinot Grigio. After a few minutes, she returned with 2 highball glasses (NOT wine glasses) with a very short pour of wine (similar to what you might get at a wine tasting tour). AND, it wasn't the brand/type that was advertised on the menu. That brand is one of our favorites and what we got that night wasn't what was on the menu. If you're out of something and substitute, the least you can do is mention it... and if you're out of wine glasses, how about saying something. NOTHING! Then, we tried to order the rest of our meal. She wouldn't hear of it. Just the appetizers. OK, both of us ordered the Caprese, a favorite we'd had here, several times. It was BAD. The "fresh mozzarella was hard and had little taste. The tomatoes weren't ripe. Disappointing. Our main courses weren't great, either. They weren't cooked properly and my mashed potatoes had no taste. Neither of us really enjoyed what we were eating... and the portions were VERY small. OK, let's get our dessert and get out of here. Not so fast. Both of us chose desserts that were advertised, but weren't available. In fact, as it turned out, most of the advertised desserts weren't available. "So, what do you have?" "You can get a cannoli or a 'little cupcake." Talk about "under selling." We ordered one of each. The cupcake was like what you'd get in a package at Tops and the cannoli was, I'm NOT exaggerating, less than 1 1/2 inches long. I wanted to take a photo, but didn't want to make a scene. We paid our check and left. It was very unsatisfying. We were regular patrons, before, but there are too many good restaurants in WNY, so we won't be returning.
Atmosphere was great, serves we good, but all our meals were super salty. Couldn't eat it.
Very disappointing. The menu is very limited and the quality is not what I expected after eating at the location on Transit and at Risotto’s on Maple. The linguini with clams was server with spaghetti instead of linguini and was too thin and oily. The chicken and broccoli was not very warm and didn’t have much of a taste to it. The dipping sauce for the bread was over powered with onion and garlic. Over all not a very good experience. I hope the owners will re-do the restaurant to bring it up t the same level as his other great locations,

This was quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. We came in for restaurant week. Appetizers were subpar, but the entrees were horrible. My lasagna came out ICE COLD like it came from a freezer. I didn’t touch a bite of it. The server did not come back to check on us, so I was unable to ask for it to be heated back up. When the server came back, she apologized and said the manager won’t do anything to compensate. So I paid for a meal I didn’t touch. The server was nice and tried to compensate by giving us extra dessert….. but this is the dessert that came out for us. Not sure what to even say about it… it’s literally crumbs. I have no idea how this place is busy. Horrible management and terrible food. It’s a disgrace to call this an Italian restaurant. I WILL NEVER RETURN and I’ll be sure to tell family and friends to never step foot in here.

Been going here for awhile now on Thursdays for trivia. Food has gone down hill and pretty quick. Pizza is awful wings are eh. I’d recommend going elsewhere
So sad the dinner menu is so small and restricted. A small paper one at that. Food was not great either. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You would be very disappointed.
Everything online says this place is open on Tuesday. Zero cars in the parking lot. No one's inside. Doors locked. No sign.
Gave mold bread, server Adam was socially inept
It was restaurant week and only Thursday at 5PM. I called for a reservation, we waited at the door for at least 10 minutes before we were approached by an employee. We sat down waited at least 15 minutes before someone came by and said they took your order right? We said no, no one has been here at all. They were sold out of a few things. The chicken with spinach risotto was not good, the chicken was not good and the risotto was flavorless and texture was very mushy. There shrimp scampi was not good, very dry and barely any moisture on the pasta. The brisket had no flavor and the polenta was awful. Three of us had dinner and none of us liked our dinner. The service was extraordinarily slow, although a table near us that set down after us had their drinks, apps and food before we even had our drinks???? They definitely knew somebody!!! We were regulars at Rizzo's years ago. Hadn't been there in a while. Would not go back!!
Very disappointing. The ambience is horrendous. Country music playing at a high volume. And this is an “Italian” restaurant. Lighting like a cafeteria. Our server gave us the “hurry up honey” dive diner service. Yes, I was called “honey”. My linguini and clam sauce was atrocious. It was a Friday night and the place was dead. Of course.
Had dinner about 5pm this past Friday. Ordered the eggplant Parm (on the menu). Was told they were out. Next choice was cheese ravioli. Plate arrived covered in sauce. I put my fork underneath to get a ravioli to cut in half. There was no ravioli. I determined they covered the bottom with 2-3 strips of lasagna noodles, covered that with ricotta cheese & maybe a bit of mozzarella, flipped the ends of the noodles back & covered it with sauce. You are supposed to be an Italian restaurant restaurant & call this ravioli? Unacceptable! You should be embarrassed. This was not 8pm on a Sunday when you might run out of something. Tops or Wegmans nearby have all the frozen ravioli you might run out of, but to start the weekend off out of an Italian staple at 5pm on a Friday during Lent when people may be looking for a meatless option other than fish.
Used to go there years ago with no issues at all. Went for the Chicken Parm Special last Wednesday 8/20. A complete joke. Totally understaffed, no organization, no communication. The three workers that were trying to host/bartend/seat people/clean tables/wait on tables/serve food seemed like it was their first day ever working in a restaraunt. At one point the beer tap was running all over the floor!! Waited for a table for an hour even though the dining area was half empty....we eventually left before we even got seated. What the hell happened to this place? Never go there again.....
My sisters and I met here for dinner this past Thursday - I guess it’s more accurate to say we met here intending to have dinner. I arrived first, around 5:30, and was greeted by an entirely empty, silent restaurant. Not a person in sight, no kitchen sounds, no cooking smells. I called out a couple times but no one came out. My sisters arrived after a few minutes and we called out again, and still no one came out to greet or seat us. I guess I’ll never know whether their food is any good, because I won’t waste my time going back there again.
Just a really really subpar restaurant - if you’re reading this review, I promise you can do better. Much better. Waiting 70 minutes for a pepperoni pizza? Really. The waitress acknowledged the delay but didnt apologize once. The pizza was just about the most average pie I’ve eaten - think Dominos with a delay. The chicken parm was well cooked but tasteless and the Caesar salad appetizer was unequivocally the worst Caesar salad I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my share). Just a bad restaurant that deserves to close. Sad. Do not go here. This place simply doesn’t do anything to deserve your business.
