We had our catch vacuum packed so we could take it home. Everything was as promised. 👍 Great service and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone who has caught fish and want to bring it home. We bought a small cooler from them as well that allowed us to actually bring our fish home as carry on luggage.

This was my first review and I didn’t know much about how the fillet process work. I have been coming back to Cabo so many years after and I use Griselda’s to process the fish that I catch. This isn't a restaurant, but the best place to hire a charter boat to go fishing in Cabo. Then they process the fish so you can take your catch home with you. They are the best. Been fishing with then for 20+ years!

The only place you need in Cabo if your looking to take fish back home. They will clean and package it for you without a problem, they can even have some of it Smoked! We used Baja Sur VIP Transportation along with Pisces fishing charters to make it all happen. I really recommend using Pisces for catching the fish, Griseldas for getting it all ready, and Baja Sur VIP Transportation for getting to and from your Resort/Residence to the Marina. Great Service and Amazing Staff!

I have used this company for 3 trips and every time they amaze me. We just fished 5/29 to 6/2 They are constantly looking out for everyone. They will point you in the right direction if your looking for charter recommendations. The real magic is the organization and handling of your catch. I have lost receipts and misplaced fish. Each time a problem on my behalf comes up they are extremely helpful to help resolve. They are continuing to always find the best way to get your catch back to your home. We used to use boxes until they introduced us to cooler bags. That made it very easy to transport and shift weight around to meet flight guidelines. Gricelda’s smokehouse is a true gem of hospitality and convenience. Thank you to the wonderful owners for all the love they have put into this business. This is still by far the only business in Cabo I would trust. They are so exceptional to taking care of tourists.

Use their cooler bags!!!! Their cooler bags work great, are affordable and the airline is going to make you open the bag to see that the fish is frozen at the airport during check in. Use their cooler bags! That being said, they are definitely the place the go for getting your fish processed and frozen in Cabo! They are super nice and friendly and do a great job! This is my 2nd time dealing with Gricelda's Smokehouse, and I'm very happy with them and the services provided. I was taken care of and ready for an airplane ride home for a reasonable fee. Although busy the staff was kind and caring as well! I can't wait to go back for more fishing.

These guys are super professional and helpful. We went to Cabo for the first time this January, my fiance wanted his first marlin and sure enough he got one. We came away from this trip already much wiser based on the advice of Gricelda's, for one we agreed to give the captain of the boat some marlin. The captain said to tell the smokehouse to "give them two pieces", when we came back to collect our vac sealed and frozen fish we found out the captain took up to 10 lbs of fish (based on the size of the marlin). Gricelda's suggested to specify lbs of fish next time, since 2 pieces could be any amount. We bought a hard sided cooler from Walmart, since we weren't sure the cardboard box would cut it for the trip back to Canada. Also, even though our hotel said they would store the fish for us they struggled to "find" all of it when it came time for us to leave. We are just lucky our airport shuttle was late, they did find it but they were difficult about it. So I would suggest leaving it at the smokehouse until you're ready to go, it is worth the cab ride.

Great service. Had my fish vacuum sealed in 2 person portions. They have soft side cooler's for sale if needed. Kept my fish froze all the way back to Wisconsin. Transported as carry on luggage..

Thanks Gracie for taking charge when we picked up our fish. Your system was flawless and we all paid and got equal amounts of fish! We had a group of eight people which fished on different boats. You system worked perfect! You are a professional! I highly recommend to have your fish cleaned vacuum packed and frozen till you’re ready to leave. They put the fish into meal size packages. Have used for years.

They did a great job of cutting up, vacuum packing, freezing and storing our fish until we were ready to fly home! They even had a big variety of cooler/container options. Next time I will try their smoking option also! I wish we would’ve found them before we set out on our deep-sea fishing trip. We thought we could rely on our fishing guides on where to take our fish to prepare to take home, but they were no help and discouraged us from trying and ended up keeping almost all of our fish. we didn’t find Gricelda's until it was too late. We only kept 4 out of 18 but Gricelda’s took care of them for us!

Conveniently located near the Cabo Marina in the heart of it all. We only had our fish vacuum packed for the trip home and I felt the price was fair. They stored/froze it overnight for us too. However, be prepared to not feel welcomed upon entry. The guy "behind the glass" was truly one of least engaging people I have ever met. It was as if he was pissed we were there trying to spend money with him. I almost walked out but didn't really know where else to go. We only did business with him because of the location and the convenience. A smile, a hello, a handshake, amd a thank you would have all been nice.. you know, the basics of running a business.

For processing your catch, I suggest weigh in and get it in writing how much your bring in. We wanted our fish filleted packed and frozen to take home. Done well. As promised. On time. At price promised. Thus the 4 stars. I'm not sure how many stars to subtract for subtracting from our meat. We brought in 4 Dorado, 1 was the biggest I've ever caught, maybe 40 pounds. Plus we brought in 3 more. Ended up with only 10 pounds of fillet? You decide where the rest went. Other reviews suggest they might be keeping some valuable meat for themselves?

The packaging was not airplane-ready. Airport security didn’t allow us to check it in and made us reopen and repackage everything. It was quite inconvenient.

You won’t get all your fish back. They definitely took a cut of ours.

At first, we were very happy with the service we received at Gricelda's. The staff was friendly and the fish was filleted very well. But, when we got the fish home, almost all the packages had to be thrown out. We found the packages had punctures in them, thus breaking the vacuum seal, causing the fish to become freezer burned and spoiled. The fish smelled rancid. I hate to assume the worst, but the only conclusion I can come to is the packaging was purposely tampered with. We spent several hundred dollars on hiring the charter, paid Gricelda's to process the fish, paid the airline fees to ship it home, and after all that, we had to throw it away. Not to mention, our entire reason for booking the trip was to bring home fresh tuna and marlin. Very upset.
