Estuvimos el fin de semana de carnavales, y nos trataron genial. Buen ambiente, y el personal muy amable y simpático. Estuvimos toda la noche con Jesús, un gran anfitrión del lugar. Variedad de bebidas, precios asequibles, baños limpios, y una máquina de dardos con la que Mallorca fundió a Cádiz!! saludos a todos!!!

Few days I was in Cadiz this is where I met the most welcoming people. The bartenders were super friendly and quick. Great English speaking bar, couldn't recommend more. Outdoor seating is nice. Great staff.

Since we arrived here, we stop in for a drink before heading to our current home. There is no food, but they do have popcorn 🍿 Indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable. Not outrageous! Credit cards accepted! We will continue to visit!

Went to this Irish bar to watch the 6 nations. There was a good crowd of folk and Guinness on tap. The drinks were more expensive than in other bars but that was fine. A very good time was had by everyone there.

Good pub in a good location! I had been in Ireland a week before I first went into O'Connell's... It felt like I had gone back to Ireland when I went inside and saw all the good Irish drinks!

Had a great opportunity to spend 12 days in Cadiz, where O'Donoghue's pub helped those days be really great. Spent most of the evenings there, enjoying the positive atmosphere and a nice selection of single malt (Scottish though) whiskeys. Bartenders were helpful with all the effort to communicate in English. Generally, people were positive and overall mood was friendly and welcoming. definitely a recommendation from an experienced bar visitor:)

Although an Irish Bar playing English rock music, the bar staff at O'Connell's speak very little English along with every other establishment in Old Town Cadiz. But their hospitality is outstanding! They are all helpful and friendly and had time for all their customers, even teaching spanish to English gent because he wanted to know how to order his drinks in Spanish. We spent a week in old Town Cadiz visiting every plaza and as many restaurants, cafes and bars as breakfast, lunch and dinner would allow us in 5 days. We always went to O'Connell's for our last drink of the evening. The atmosphere in O'Connell's was always good from the beginning of an evening to end when the bar would get really busy. It attracted the young and older locals as well as young and older tourists. We loved it because it was still typical of Cadiz. Calm, laid back with a harmonious buzz. They also have a good Gin Collection 😉

One of my favourite Irish bars abroad. I’ve been many times over the past 20 odd years. Classic simple interior. Great brandy de Jerez.

Buen sitio para pasar la noche. Normalmente está repleto de gente y, aunque pueda ser dificil coger sitio, merece la pena esperar. Mucha variedad de bebidas y muy buen servicio. Tambien disponen de una máquina de palomitas. En general, muy buena experiencia.

Buena taberna con variedad de licores y cerveza. También de cafés. Tiene una diana para jugar a dardos. Buena ubicación y servicio amable.

Pub tipo Irlandes con ambiente y decoracion apropiada. Buenos precios.

Nice pub and nice atmosphere inside. As an Irishman would question if it is an authentic Irish pub, as I arrived when there was a big Irish Rugby game on versus South Africa and they weren't showing it. But other from that a nice place 😃

This is a nice Irish pub to have a drink. You can play darts in the back corner which is always fun. If you get hungry, they have little stands that serve nuts and popcorn.

Nice Irish bar. Staff could use some training on how to pour Guinness properly. Fecked into the glass like lager isn’t the way.

Drank a pint of guinness here on our 1st night in Cadiz, i'd score that 6-7 out of 10. Went back the next day for another........sadly the quality of the guinness had gone down 1-2 out of 10. Flat discoloured head and usual bubbles sitting in it. I spoke with the barman explaining possible reasons for it. The barman was dismissive and unhelpful. We are here for another 5 days but sadly wont be returning here this time. This is the only pub in Cadiz that serves guinness it seems. How irritating! You cant claim to be an irish pub and serve poor guinness.

Excellent service and nice pub-like atmosphere. My issue was the state of the bathrooms and the lack of handwash. With the prices they charge (2€ for a small coffee) they could invest in their facilities.

Cerveza muy buena aunque mayoría de las veces están calientes. Nunca hay papel higiénico en los baños de los hombres. He ido 30 veces contadas y nunca hay papel higiénico, solo en los baños de las mujeres. Ni entiendo eso. Y los porteros que están en la entrada lo único que hacen es fumar ni siquiera te preguntan nada si era mayor de edad o no

Después de un buen rato en la barra viendo como atendían a gente que iba llegando después de mí, me senté un rato en una mesa (y seguían pasando de mí) y al final me fui al Woodstock que allí nunca hay problema. Una pena porque el sitio en sí está bien pero depende de quien te toque detrás de la barra te puedes morir esperando...

Solo estuvimos en la terraza. Había en la puerta al menos dos señoritas hablando,fumando y pasándolo fenomenal con gente que entraba y salía del local, al cabo de 15-20 minutos de espera, descubrimos que una de las señoritas de la puerta era la camarera de la terraza. Se llevó los vasos del cliente anterior y nos trajo nuestras consumiciones entre las manos, como cuando recojo yo la mesa en mi casa. No saben usar la bandeja!!!. Le tuvimos que pedir que nos limpiara, por favor, la mesa antes de dejar los vasos. En fin, un desastre. Cero profesionalidad y cero ganas de hacer su trabajo. Quizás al propietario le vale con tener una "chica guapa" (podría haber sido un chico guapo e igual de inutil). Si no te importan todos estos detalles, siéntate y espera!!.

Nefasto trato nos dicen que vamos a ver un partido y luego nos lo quitan de un momento a otro y no es el cadiz cosa que hubiera respetado

Well I'm sorry this was not an Irish bar at all . There was just Spanish music 🎵🎶 playing in the background. Lady's toilet was horrible,, no toilet seat,, no hand soap and dryer didn't work. It was dark,cold and smelled of damp when I walked in . Plus they was late opening up. Sorry not for me ☹️

Not an Irish pub! We came here to watch the All Ireland Hurling Final, and they didn’t have it on, they have tv’s but just chose not to show it! It’s a mixed feel, they went for a few vibes, old timey cow-boy and British vibes.
