To be honest sonic is a shadow of it's former self. The used to be about quality and good consumer service. But ever since the Gen Zers started working there the food quality has gone down the service has gone down. Everything has gone down. Heck McDonald's and Wendy's has better service. I put sonic in the same category as Carl's Jr or Burger King and their service sucks. Sonic needs to step up big time.

Been there 3 times and got a BLT each time. First time no mayo second time half a tomatoe slice. Then tonight I didnt even geta whole freaking piece of bacon on my BLT. I don't understand how somebody could look at this and go Yep this is acceptable to put out

I am very upset and disgusted by how the manager Karen treated me last night. I had stopped by last night to grab my son a grilled cheese and I parked in one of the stalls, I ordered my food and proceeded to pay with my card. After I had paid for my food and they brought my food out to me the manager Karen came out and proceeded to tell me that their receipt says cash and not card on it and that I needed to pay again, so I showed her my bank statement and proved that the money had been taken out of my account, when I told that I was not okay with them running my card again due to the first payment already going through the manager Karen then proceeded to accuse me of steeling and when I caved and told her to just take my card she told me no and proceeded to walk away. I’ve already called the customer complaint line about this issue but I’d like to make it very known that Karen’s behavior towards me and her accusing me of steeling was the rudest most disrespectful behavior I’ve ever encountered. I nor my family will ever be returning to this location.

We waited 35 minutes for our food. And it was cold by the time we got it. After Beverly scanned it out it took her almost 5 minutes to get it to our car. I know I was on the phone with my husband. Other cars that got there way after us were getting their food first and all we ordered was 2 hamburgers a corn dog and 5 pcs chicken strips with a drink. No why should that be a thing. We sat there from 7:50-8:25 pure ridiculousness. I will never pre-tip again. I had so many pickles i was throwing them away and my husband was heating his chicke strips in the microwave. Completely trash order.

I visit this location often because it’s the closest to my house. Most of the time all I order is 2 drinks… and every time even if I’m the only car in the drive thru it’s consistently over a 10min wait for 2 DRINKS. Since when does it take that long to make 2 drinks…

I’m so tired of coming here and waiting 20-30 mins for an order and also they never get the order right if I ask for extra garlic butter on my burger and I pay extra for it then it better be there and it never is.

Went today 8/31 for lunch the girl was so quite could not not hear her food was wrong orderd 5 chicken strip meal they gave us 2 strips food was cold and old order the chicken sandwich and said light lettuce they put extra fries were cold drinks had no flavor girl was rude when we had a question i think her name was berverly

My children visited the Caldwell location tonight for a slushie and 2 kid shakes. After 30 minutes in line, the speaker in the drive thru wasn’t working, so my daughter drove up to the window to place her order. She was told she couldn’t just be “bumped to the front of the line”, and her order was placed after those behind her who had no issues with ordering through the speaker system. She then waited an additional 15 minutes before I called to see why 3 drinks were taking so long. The “manager”, Paula, admitted to saying she couldn’t “bump them to the front of the line” and it would be awhile for their order because they were busy. I said, “Your speaker system failing wasn’t my daughter’s fault and everyone in line behind them had already been served and left”. She said, “I’m not going to listen to you yell at me, we’re very busy”. I was definitely stern, but far from yelling. I called my daughter and told her to just come home, as their customer service is apparently not important to them. We will NOT be visiting Sonic again, but instead will seek small businesses to support within the community that truly want our business.

Ordered at 11:45 on the app food takes 5-7 minutes at EVERY other sonic in the valley except here. Got my food at 11:06 Bunch of kids working just walking around outside talking to their friends. Terrible service terrible food. Ordered an ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito and this is what it looks like.. no sausage and a half slice of bacon at the bottom of the burrito. Ridiculous this place asks for tips lol

I just came in and waited over 25 minutes for one of my orders. It got handed to the wrong person. And when I said something to them, they acted like I was lying. I then waited for my food to come out. And all I got was a sorry. The food I ordered was a special order food. They did not bother to make it special order again. So the extra money I paid for it didn't even get put on it. I'm super frustrated with how this was handled.

Every time I come here or order from here, the food takes minimum an hour to come out and is already cold/soggy when they aren’t busy. Just drinks or ice cream can take half an hour, again, when they aren’t busy. I hate making bad reviews, especially about restaurants or food industry places as I know first hand how difficult the work can be, but I just waited two hours for three simple and small items; just for them to (like I said) arrive cold and soggy, with the ice in my drink almost melted. My dasher said he literally saw them leave my order at the window for 10+ minutes before they got to him. We both tried calling several times and they ignored us both. It’s just really disappointing all the way around. I hope they fix it.

The service here has gone downhill the food doesn't even taste good. I keep trying to come back but every time is a dissapointment. My food was so gross I took two bites and had to spit it out, sloppily made and exaggerating mustard. I did order extra but my burger was saturated it was not edible. Not to mention the ridiculous wait time. You need new management asap.

Honestly if I could give the Caldwell Idaho location a negative rating I would. Ordered a super sonic breakfast burrito, opened it as soon as I got home and there was nothing but tomatoes, onions and jalapeños on it, I took it back an talked to an employee who told me that’s what they are, I asked where the meat eggs and cheese are, she said she would make me another one, this one came out with eggs and tater tots. I spent 10 dollars for the meal, and they can’t get it right? You need better employees. I will not go back to this location.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered ahead and had issues. Both times they forgot food items. Last time my condiments as well. Last time it was just a couple corn dogs this time it was a 3 PC Chicken strips meal!! The onion rings are so burnt they are not edible! I live 15 miles away and cannot make a special trip all the way back to caldwell to get items and replacements. So frustrated that I drive to town for a quick meal for the family on a Saturday and I end up eating a sandwich because my moms food was not there and so inedible I gave her mine! Done with Sonic I don't care if the drinks are 1/2 price on the app, NOT WORTH the headache and frustration.
