Las Tablas is one of my favorite Colombian restaurants to go to. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and if you go on a weekend, get ready for some good live music. I have been here several times over a 15 year span, I have seen and witnessed the ups and downs of other restaurants service and menu change and Las Tablas does not disappointme ever. This place is definitely a must go to for great food, great atmosphere and good prices.

Had an early dinner here with family - were seated almost immediately and then it took 10 mins for service, even though the restaurant was at less than half capacity. Because we noticed that wait staff was going to be relaxed about being attentive to customers, we skipped the appetizer and went straight to ordering our meal. It was also difficult to waive staff over when we were ready to pay - there seems to be more socializing in the back corner than walking the floor to attend to the customers. The food was absolutely delicious - we ordered the Picada Mar y Tierra and it was more than plenty for 3 people. 5 stars for food and atmosphere (there was a saxophone player at the end of our meal). Wait staff could be more attentive.

Food was very good. Parking was not too bad, we found a spot quickly. Outdoor eating available. Atmosphere was a bit weird. TVs everywhere. A large screen tv literally next to a table on another table as you enter. More of a sports bar vibe with really good food. Bathrooms were clean. Service was not bad. Lunch specials are priced nicely, and dinner can be pricey. We were there for dinner about 6pm.

First time eating Columbian food. The place is outstanding. Our server was great. Always filling our waters, asking if we needed anything. I arrived around 12:30 they had just opened at noon. A few tables had guests. Met up with some friends from a past job we all had. Our nationalities all different but such a great time. I wish my plate would've had more but something about the rice tasted salty. I ate most of it. Looking forward to going back in the future to taste other items in the menu. Oh the music they play there is great!!! I hear it turns into a small club on the weekend amd I would love to go back and check it out for sure.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good, not great, but good... This has been a regular spot for us for many years and they finally rehabbed the men's bathroom... The bathroom was always quite nasty, but now it looks quite impressive, although the one sink in there didn't work...At least it was finally clean... The service was good, but there appeared to be a lack of some understanding in getting some basic items that we wanted, i.e, water,etc...It was pretty consistent back and forth in getting their attention... Their food was damn tasty today... They were on the mark with everyone that was served...The chicken was just incredible and the plantains were absolutely on point today...It was overall very satisfying...

I took my Husband and family to celebrate his birthday. The Atmosphere is absolutely beautiful the vibe and live music was an amazing experience. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. However service was a little slow and I paid nearly $200 for a family of 4. We ordered the family platter meats by land and sea. Our steak was dripping red with blood. We asked for it to be WELL DONE. After sending it twice I just took it home and cooked it to our liking. Well done. Also the octopus was pretty much burnt and calamari was a little rubbery. It's a fantastic environment we just won't be doing that platter again.

We got the Picada Colombiana. The yucca was dry, the plantains were dry and not sweet at all. The chicken strips were tough. Unfortunately they had no Garlic sauce or dip for the yucca. We also had the empanada trio, the chicken had no flavor. Very disappointed in the food. The atmosphere is very nice, unfortunately the food needs some work.

I came here for a birthday party and the place was completely empty, which immediately made me uneasy. An empty restaurant on a weekend is never a good sign. The space itself is dark and nicely decorated with a Colombian theme, so visually it has potential. The service was the only redeeming part. The server was extremely polite, attentive, and very professional. No complaints there at all. The food, however, was a complete disaster. We ordered multiple dishes. I already don’t care for fried bananas, but even putting personal taste aside, they were greasy and heavy. The guacamole was flat, bland, and honestly tasted wrong. I know exactly what guacamole is supposed to taste like, and this wasn’t some regional twist… it was just bad. Then came the meat. I don’t even know where to start. The quality was awful, the cut was cheap, it was cooked to death, dry, and tasted like it had been sitting around and reheated from the night before. The flavor was off, the texture was rubbery, and it was genuinely hard to swallow. I’m not exaggerating when I say I wouldn’t serve that dish to my dog. Would I come back? No. Not for the food, not for the atmosphere, not for a second chance. The service deserves better than what’s coming out of that kitchen.

The food was good, but extremely over priced for the amount of food they give you. Menu describes combo platter brings yucca, fried plantains and fries with 2 choice of meats. Not bad.....til you get your platter with half of a plantain, 1 piece of yucca and 2 potato wedges and your 2 meat choices. 😢 I wish I had taken pics. $40? 🤪

Went tonight New Years eve Dec 31, 2025. Service was SUPER SLOW! Waitress came and took our order for 4 drinks and 4 empanada appetizers and came back 35 minutes later, and then another 15 minutes to bring empanadas. I had to stop the waitress so that she can take our order because after about 45 minutes she still had not taken our order for dinner!!! Food came out about 20 minutes later and was a bit cold and dry! I asked for water and chimichuri and she never came back! I had to get the bus boy to bring me water and never got my chimichuri. Took my son there for the first time and told him how great it was the other times we came. I was disappointed and embarrassed! I guess they were too focused on the New Years event instead of the regular that came in. If the restaurant doesn't have enough staff for regular dinner they should have just shut it down and concentrated on the event they had. I more than likely won't be coming back and telling my friends to go at your own risk! Spent $148 of my hard earned cash including tip, could've spent it elsewhere and got better food and treatment.

Came here for New Year! Paid extra for a reservation. Other people without a reservation were served better. The owner had Kareoke and could not sing. Absolutely the worst 150 dollar q plate experience i have had in my life.
