I was craving pasta and needed somewhere quiet to sit and work while eating it, the area near my hotel felt very touristy but I chose Born 8 and was so pleasantly surprised! My server Jose was so kind, great and fast service, and the food was SO good! The pasta is fresh and tasted like true Italian, and it was great people watching with live music in the streets too. Gracias for the experience, exactly what I was hoping for!

Had a wonderful early dinner on our last day in Mallorca! Roberto and the outside staff were so accommodating and nice, and super speedy service! We got the caprese salad, and I got the tomahawk and she got the sea bass. And closed the meal with the recommended tiramisu! Pair it with coffee and it was spectacular! Loved it. Sangria was amazing and perfect with our food.

We had a very nice dinner here. We ate the grilled veggies and a salad and it was well presented and tasty. The service is very attentive and friendly, we enjoyed the quiet indoor seating and the cozy atmosphere. Also really nice outdoor seating on passeig de born. Definitely recommend it.

Love the terrace. Vibes are very enjoyable under the sun. Interesting that I found restaurant in Spain charges a premium for sitting at their terrace, never seen that anywhere else I have been to. Anyway, food is good, service is okay, whole experience was great on that sunny day. It is noticeably more expensive than any other restaurants.

The food was really good, we had the homemade pasta with burrats and the mixed tapas with artichokes, croquettes and calamari. Also the bread with tomato! We sat inside instead of outside and it was really calm and enjoyable. The service was nice and fast. We had a nice time.

Came here for snacks and drinks. Aly is very attentive to our needs. Food is served timely and served hot and fresh. The white wine sangria is refreshing especially in the hot weather. Highly recommended for drinks. Will come back next time and try the rest of the menu as staff is superb.

G&T was ok. Tiramisu ok-ish, however, on the menu picture it shows that it comes with strawberries which were completely missing. Obviously, sitting outside in the shadow under lovely big trees is nice. The service was ok, looks to be experienced but did care too much, as it was just a job with not so much love.

Debo decir que el mesero fue agradable- pero entramos al local para nuestra última comida del viaje y la hamburguesa estuvo un poco muy grasienta y mis gambas al ajillo le faltó un poco de aceite y fue más agua en el sartén. Todo estuvo OK hasta que mi hermana encuentra un bicho en el panadero, había aparecido después de comernos el pan. Entendible que no es culpa del mesero pero no hicieron mucho para compensarlo, ofreciendo café pero ya habíamos terminado de comer y me daba náusea la idea de tener algo más. al largo rato me dio mucho asco al pensar en ello. Por eso escribo esta opinión un poco abrumada, insisto que entiendo que no es culpa del mesero pero los dueños deben tener más opciones para poder consentir al cliente después de algo así.

No lo recomiendo. Hemos pagado €45 Por 2 personas y salimos como entramos...mucha hambre. Un filete de pezcado rebozado ultra pequeño. Los platos nada cuidados ni apetecibles a la vista. Además la actitud del mesero poco agradable.

Pedimos varias cosas, entre ellas las fajitas de pollo estilo Born, de las cuales apareció un insecto caminando. Nos retiraron el plato y no pedimos más cosas. A la hora de traer la cuenta nos comentaron que no habían cobrado las fajitas. Lamentable detalle, el colmo sería que las cobraran. Ni una disculpa, ni un detalle en la cuenta. Le dijimos a la chica que nos atendió que trasladara al responsable del restaurante que no nos había gustado la respuesta a esta incidencia. Ni aún así hubo una disculpa. Esta es la razón de tan baja puntuación. Una lástima no haber fotografiado el insecto y haber puesto una reclamación

Fuimos a tomar algo y, el camarero muy amable nos tomó nota, tras pedir dos copas de vino apareció una camarera con muy malos modales que nos echó simplemente porque no íbamos a cenar. Eran las 19:30 de la tarde y, siendo españoles, nos sorprendió mucho que en un horario tan temprano nos negaran el servicio de esa manera. Una experiencia desagradable que deja muy mala impresión.

Nos ubicaron en el lugar más frío del restaurante. Los camareros se iban turnando para atendernos con despreocupación Muchas versiones de una hamburguesa , las patatas se pagan aparte. En fin, complicado. Las croquetas aparentemente distintas tenían el mismo sabor. Muy pequeñitas y bastante malas. No lo recomendaria

We came to born 8 expecting good things from what we’ve seen on social media, that was where we went wrong. Our most positive experience was being seated, after that appalling, our table mats were thrown down onto the table, soon following our cutlery which was also thrown onto the table, the waiter was clearly in a bad mood and not up to providing good service and after reading a few reviews on here I’m thinking he may need to start working in a different sector. None the less we were excited to try our food, we ordered fish and chips and a burrito… the fish was half a COD fillet… chips were cold and again small portion. The burrito wasn’t all bad but it was cold and so were the chips. We then asked the waiter to heat our food up which we done with no problems, but again it came back medium warm and it really lacked flavour. No one came over to ask how our meal was, we were waiting about 30 minutes after eating before deciding we’d go up to the bar and pay. We did mention our complaints in a well mannered way and was met with hostility, the waiter ran over to our plates grabbed them and showed the fact we ate all our food, we followed by stating of course we’d eat it as we are planning on paying, albeit we are not happy with the service nor the quality of food so not full price. The Bald angry waiter then printed off our receipt and ran off huffing and puffing. We were left to deal with a gentleman behind the bar who was actually quite pleasant and ended up giving us 20% off the meal after a few back and forths. Overall the food was below average , expensive pricing for the quality and service was shocking.

A bad dining experience. I was very disappointed with the food. My friend and I ordered the tapas tower, which explicitly says "to share" on the menu, for 44 euros. The portion was absurdly small for two people. We ate the entire thing very slowly for maybe 10 minutes. In addition, the food quality was supermarket-level - I felt like I was eating frozen food. I could have likely had way better tapas somewhere else. I would suggest to the restaurant to consider making "small portions" prominent on their Google Maps profile, to not mislead customers. I got there hoping to taste delicious local food and left hungry and let down.

I asked because the cheesecake had a green spot, but at first, they changed it to a cocktail pigment, and the second cake also had the same color. When I asked for an exchange, They changed their words to a natural phenomenon caused by overcooking cheesecake. and They didn't exchange it. I paid nearly 100 euros and only the displeasure remained.
