A bright beautiful location across from the Pruneyard! Natural light and plenty of spaces to spread out means this place is consistently busy. I usually use order ahead, and my drink is always ready with fantastic service.

I was referred to Philz and was not disappointed! I ordered a Turkish coffee ☕ with light sugar and cream. It was perfect. Also had a chocolate croissant, a perfect snack! I will be a regular. I want to try all of their coffees!

Love this new location. big, lots of space for people to work, relax or just feel not so smooshed! It was a hot day so I ordered the Mint Mojito (sweet and creamy of course!). Friendly service is always a plus.

I like this Philz's location. They have arranged their tables and chairs strategically to accommodate people who's there to work and socialize. There's counters in the back corner near the bathrooms where you can work with little distractions and there are benches for you to sit on to wait for your drinks while you socialize with the baristas (if you want to).

The lovely barista asked if I wanted my usual coffee order and even remembered my name. What a pleasant surprise as I had only been in this location a few times. I greatly appreciate the exceptional customer service and will definitely return for the excellent coffee.

Wow, if you like to try a variety of strong black coffees, this will satisfy. I like the dark roasts, so you can compare whether you prefer the Arabic or Turkish blends. Large spaces to relax or work a while too.

We went to have coffee after our run in Los Gatos creek trail. I ordered a Jacob’s Wonderbar coffee blend with cream and y friend ordered a hot cocoa. The coffee was really tasty and i really enjoyed it. They have good variety of coffee blends along with nice pastries as well.

Great place to grab coffee. Despite being super busy, it didn't take long for coffee to come out and the atmosphere inside is nice. The almond croissants were amazing as well!

Clean place and following covid protocols. Menu is a hit or miss. This place is a specialty coffee place in general and doesn't serve the usual lattes and cappuccinos. It's creations of different coffee that's unique. You should definitely try it out but it's not for everyone or everyday.

Order on the app before you go - the line is often long here, but delicious Philz as you would expect once you’ve got your coffee. Nice little outdoor patio to sit on with dogs - many umbrellas so plenty of shade. Also very large indoor area with many seating options. Often see people “working from home” while enjoying coffee.

The vegan plant powered breakfast sandwich is incredible. My meat-eating husband could barely tell the difference.

Great coffee! I love the light roasts, medium sweet, medium cream. Regular coffee shop atmosphere. Good WiFi. A few standing tables if you like to stand while drinking or working. Opens at 5 AM, so good for those insomnia mornings.

This particular Philz Coffee(in Campbell) is always Very Excellent staff & service wise. I have never really tried any of the food offerings, so I cannot offer rating for them, and I have only spent enough time inside to order, pick some coffee beans for my hubby(who adores coffee) and wait for the most Excellent Decadent hot chocolate in my realm!!! You see, I don't don't drink coffee, but I do drink tea & my most favorite treat is this Philz's most Excellent Decadent hot chocolate (that is the way I ask for it as I want it made with milk, cream & sugar) And staff has Never disappointed me!!! best coffee in USA hands down - don't make the mistake of not looking at the menu prior to ordering and coming off as ignorant by ordering a latte. Order with the app ahead of time or suffer the wait for your custom made blend. Always crowded - always delicious. If you love Starbucks you’ll hate Philz - and they won’t want you in here anyway if that’s the case. Note, I detest starbucks as any good coffee lover should.

I’m not in this area much but, I came here a couple weeks ago and again today. The philtered soul both times made by the blonde (sorry no name tag) was perfect. Thank you for the consistency because it’s awful when you get a cup of creamer or a cup of straight black. Because of this, I only come to this spot to satisfy my Philz addiction.

I went here for the first time today. Fun and lively atmosphere. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Parking is tricky in the Philz parking lot, but you can find parking nearby. I ordered a small iced Philtered Soul with medium cream and medium sweetness. It was delicious! Can't wait to try this place again.

Philz has the absolute best coffee around. I’m here at least once a week. Prep time can be slow (each cup hand crafted) which is the order ahead feature on the app is key!

This is a biased since I have a preference for philz coffee over peets and Starbucks. Service is great, they take care to ensure that the drink is made to your exact liking and will modify it after the fact if you are unsatisfied. The ambience is great, location is great. I personally really like their mocha. Their food options are nothing to complain about for breakfast.

Enjoyed all the pastries that we tried. In particular the chocolate babka, bacon & onion pretzel croissant, and the sessional fruit Danish. A good place to grab something to eat.

Great place to hangout and have a nice coup of coffee. This place is usually packed with crowds. It has plenty indoor and outdoor sittings. Staffs are friendly and environment is clean. Will not hesitate to come back again!

Love their iced mint mojito coffee.. I don't like peppermint in my coffee, but this mojito coffee is pleasant to taste, and the mint flavor doesn't overpower the coffee..

I like their mint mojito and rose coffee. I think their fancy limited drinks are okay but if you are a first time try “ice coffee rose” you can make it iced or hot 🤪 Drink time is like 5 mins when it’s not busy but when it’s busy it takes a long time so better to order on the app if you don’t want to wait. Also they have “too good to go” bag sometimes. It’s a surprise pastry bag that didn’t sell for the day so they sell it for few bucks at the end of the day. Very good 👍

I stopped in for a coffee and I must admit that I enjoyed it tremendously. The place was neat, clean, and well-maintained. The service was quick despite being fairly busy. The bathroom was borderline but they were busy. I enjoyed my coffee so much that I bought a matching bag of beans. I chose medium roast, Tesoro. I did not order food here today. If I were a local I truly be I would make this a regular stop.

This coffee shop is spacious, and has a welcoming feel. The seating is casual, with bar stools and expansive windows. We tried their Mocha Tesora which was velvety smooth and chocolatey. The blueberry muffin was perfectly soft, and not dry at all. The place has plenty of lighting, and the employees look happy. I plan to try their mint mojito next.

Great outdoor seating. This place is popping so online order if you can. Parking says limited one hour but mostly just to not fill up the lot since it is kinda small. Very covid friendly and doors are always open since covid. If you feel comfy come and get it

This Philz coffee is so spacious and bigger than other Philz store. Ice coffee is always my favorite, such as mint Mojito, ice coffee rosé! They offer more than coffee. They use “special” ingredients like mint, cardamom, and manufacturing cream that bump up the taste.

I’ve been going to Philz for years and I’m super glad they opened up a located close to where I live. This location is in a great spot and conveniently by the Pruneyard. No idea what people are saying about the staff being unhelpful or rude as I’ve been here several times since the opening. They have been very nice and helpful. As for the lines, yes they are long. It is to be expected as Philz is very good coffee and there are limited amount of locations compared to big coffee chains. Also the process of making a great cup of coffee takes a tad bit longer. You could also use the Philz mobile app to order ahead... The inside of the store is pretty spacious and good place to sit and relax. The coffee and drinks are great here. My favorite drinks are Ecstatic (sweet and creamy) and Great Alarm.

I love Philz coffee, this place on the day I went was extremely busy and took 20 minutes for a simple drip coffee, they took all of the online orders first and even though I walked in for a simple pour over it was way too long to wait for a black coffee

Four stars because the coffee is better than most other coffee chains like Starbucks and Pete’s but their mobile ordering is terrible. I watch 10+ people get their order taken in person and completed before my mobile order was done. This was the case even though my order was place nearly 30 minutes before the people walking up and ordering placed theirs. Waste of time.

I love Philz but this location has a tendency to make watered-down coffee. I often get my coffee re-made here. Update: this location is better now. Glad the quality has improved as a cup of coffee isn’t by no means cheap here.

Nice place for good coffee.... Yet, if you want a tea your style...they steeped it with used leaves at their discretion without knowing or asking how long I would prefer it. So it came out very bitter. I know teabags are not high quality tea but at least you can influence your tea.

The baristas and staff are honestly great, and Philz in general has the best coffee anywhere. I would give this more like 4.5 stars if they let me. My only complaint is that the coffee is a little more inconsistent than other locations. I always get my coffee sweet & creamy and the cream/sugar is always different here based on my barista. It's still a great place and I highly recommend it. Excellent staff especially!

Love this place, however this particular Philz locations is very busy and loud. I had to repeat my order three times over the noise for the cashier to hear me. Despite it being busy, got a group order pretty quickly. Would recommend to order pickup if going during peak hours.

It's was very noisy on a Saturday afternoon. The cement floors, in addition to the loud but good music, made it quite an echo chamber! However, the coffee was delicious!

The coffee was delicious but there was nowhere to sit. Also, I ordered just coffee which I like with cream and sugar. I would have preferred to be able to put my own cream and sugar and as I am kind of fussy as to the amount. They got it close, but not the way I like it. This was my first time to visit a Philz.

This is my new favorite Philz. 4 stars only because the parking lot has a few spaces. This is the best location with patio and outside seating, hot water in the bathrooms, clean bathrooms, ample seating with high tables, couches, long/big tables and a lot of chairs and outlets available-even outside! This location is beautiful to be at on a sunny day working outside on the wooden benches and umbrellas. They even have the light up heaters too. 3/2/2020 Update: the lack of parking here is really frustrating. Best to park on side street. Line gets really long on hot day. Best to place a mobile order unless they’re short staff then you’re SOL and have to wait in line like today.

Very large layout which is nice to have breakfast etc. Nice pastries to choose from. I was not impressed with the coffee probably the type of beans I chose. Also the temp was lukewarm.

Philz is always a good spot for cold brew! Got my usual Philtered Soul Cold brew (no dairy, light on the sugar). I like this spot since parking is super easy. There is seating inside as well. Compared to other Philz locations, this one might be less busy than others. Good spot before or after you go to Pruneyard!

Not the fastest service but always a comfortable environment and cozy music. There is typically plenty of seating, chairs and a few couches. Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside. They also have heating lanterns outside. Love the fact that Philz always customizes your coffee to your taste. I do wish the app catered to more than 4 people. That is definitely annoying.

this philz has limited parking but tons of indoor seating. the coffee is generally pretty good, sometimes leaning towards the sweet side. it can get busy and the wait for your drink can be a bit, depending on what time you show up in the morning.

Honestly if you mobile order be ready to have your order ready 10 minutes later. My experience has been like this the past three times in the morning. I order way in advance around 6:20 to pick up at 6:55 since I am in a time crunch. I believed the prior times it was a miss since they always have it on time. Today it was at 7:05 when I got my coffee. I have learned my lesson and disappointed in Philz Campbell. Y’all are usually on time with the orders, what happen? If it’s a new system or system error please fix it.

Love their coffee. The space is nice and good for studying or work. The reason I give three stars is because they don’t have enough people. I ordered online with the app to get my drink and go and it took a whole hour! That’s ridiculous someone needs to change that.

Coffee is usually good. I've been standing here for 25 minutes waiting for my usually good coffee though. This place is slower than molasses on a cold day. Slower than the speed of a growing redwood. Slower than my brain gets moving in the morning, and that really says something

One of the best coffees I’ve had. really nice staff. However it will take them a decade to make your coffee. Even wen the place is almost empty.

Okay, I tried and I tried and Philz is not just for me. My daughter said it was because I never ordered the right thing so she ordered a coffee (Tesora) for me. My verdict: an expensive version of McDonald's coffee (I would not make the difference in a blind taste test). Their breakfast burritos were really good though and the atmosphere was nice. Took forever to be served but in all fairness it was thanksgiving morning and they were short on staff.

It's not terrible. Just inconsistent. I usually get sweet and creamy drinks. Hot or cold they are always different. It would be nice if everybody made them somewhat the same. I'd say half of the time they call your name most of the time it's either too quiet(or the music is way too loud) to hear anything or they just put it on the counter and don't say anything and expect you to just check every cup that goes out waited (20 min on a not busy day to find my order already ready). The cashier is super nice and friendly and there are at least 2 baristas that got it down. I feel this place is more convenient for mobile orders at this point. Hopefully they fixed their oven too last time we got food ours was still frozen in the middle and the person before us had the same problem. Last time I was in there though all the baristas were quiet not talking to eachother like their life was already sucked out of them. Managers maybe give them a holiday or something cause their morale looks low.

I placed an order for pick up through the Philz app, and arrived at the time the order was supposed to be done. There was a stack of orders printed but not yet started, which was not an issue to me - clearly they were running a bit behind. However, of the two girls working, the wrong person picked my order to complete. I watched all other orders get completed, I watched people who walked in and placed orders after me get theirs and leave. The girl who was completing my order of two iced coffees was having personal conversations, not paying attention and was in NO hurry to get this done. It took 20 mins after I arrived and 30-35 mins from when I placed the order to get this done and it was not busy. Really irritated at the lack of professionalism and accountability.

Last year I gave a 4 star level for this location. Today, I could not keep this crap to myself. I literally ordered one cold brew, straight up. How did it take 20 minutes to get ready? Plus the bartenders were talking to each other, just killing time and the manager was talking to their friends that stopped in. This could be a one off (that I experienced), but this is at least three times with the quickness of my coffee being ready. If I need a great cup of coffee in 5 minutes, just go to Peet's.

This Philz is consistently slower than other locations and the flavor is consistently off compared to other locations as well

Kicked us out because we had our dog, dog was overheating due to hot weather outside. Was hoping he would be able too cool off with the AC. All other coffee shops including starbys were always delighted for us to bring our doggo also giving him treats. The coffee is ok at best here at Philz

At least you still get a personal made cup of coffee. Otherwise everything else is processed. Guess Philz wanted to be Starbucks all along. And since you cannot order from the barista Philz has added to the landfills with all the receipts. And no more personal cups. Philz has gone corporate. 🙁

Love their menu, their coffee, the smell of the store and the people are always lovely. But it was going to be a 30 wait. Sorry, for that amount of time and the cost of the beverage I can go to the store buy everything and make it at home faster and cheaper. If wait times become more reasonable(under 10 min) I will happily return.

I love Philz but you should expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour to ever get your food or drinks here. It’s happened the last three times I’ve been here. The last time I waited 40 minutes only to find out they didn’t even have my order in the queue yet. Don’t waste your time.

It's REALLY rare for Philz to be inconsistent. The staff on Monday 24 Jan around 1130am seemed more interested in blasting music and chatting among themselves than making coffee. Our coffee was burnt and bitter. Severely overextracted (all of the drinks we ordered), so either the baristas were too busy chatting about school and forgot about time, or the grinder was set improperly to begin with. Am guessing the labour shortage in california has made it really tough for cafés to retain good staff. Disappointed, but I know Philz reads reviews and looks to improve. This outlet is not well managed.

This place is really short staffed. There are long lines. We ordered a coffee, chai and grounded beans to take home. The coffee was fine. The chai was terrible and the grounded beans were too coarse. I have given two stars because the service is amazing. Really good people. I did not like this Philz because I think the product quality wasn't as good.

Didn’t have a good experience here. Kindly asked the bakery lady to warm the croissant, she seemed reluctant, then asked for a hot sauce, again gave me the face of impatience. The willow glen store is much better.

Nice place with nice decoration but one of the staff was supper rude. We usually order medium sweet and medium cream for our drinks at any other Philz locations and it’s perfect. This location is new so we decided to give it a try, we ordered same drinks as we usually ordered at Philz and it came out a bit bland, so we asked to add a bit of sweet into it, and the staff told us “ok, so next time order normal sweet and cream instead of medium!” with a rude attitude. It definitely not the feeling we expect to get at Philz. 👎🏻

Coffee is good! Philz has fun drinks that taste good and are coffee forward. The issue is this particular location - I ordered online through the Philz website which apparently places the order through DoorDash. The issue was that on the website, it said my order was ready and when I asked a barista, Andrea, she was dismissive and just waved in the general direction it should be? I understand you’re busy but I’m confused and need help. I asked a different barista who said this order would be at a DoorDash counter (again, I wasn’t aware that ordering through Philz website was DoorDash) and when she walked us over, there was nothing there. She then took our tickets to make our drinks. I’m glad we actually got help the second time we asked someone but overall it didn’t feel great to be dismissed when I had a valid question and no apology when they missed our order. If I hadn’t been persistent, my drinks never would’ve been made. We ordered ahead with an estimate wait time of 10 minutes and it took 30 minutes

Used to go there on and off, but I don’t think go there anymore. The service is very random, and there are some staff that dont care, and rude. I always get mocha and it’s always inconsistent but ok, last time was tribble so I throw it away and got another one from some other place. And today i was waiting at the counter for 10 minutes for my order to be taken. No body even stopped to say anything. It wasn’t their busiest time either. Very disappointed!

I feel so bad to be writing this review but it has to be said. The quality of the drinks (e.g. Flavor) have gone down. It isn't what Phil would have wanted. Even other Philz stores talk about how bad the Campbell location is. I've communicated this to the manager at the store but still, they keep getting worse. If ownership or senior level managers are reading this, please go do taste tests at Campbell to see for yourself.

Coffee is good but I would avoid ordering from this location on Uber Eats. Every order (I've ordered >4 times) that I've had are either missing items, or completely wrong. I've never been notified ahead of time for missing pastries (which every other coffee shop will attempt to substitute or remove from order), and I always end up paying full price and have had to contact UberEats help line to get a refund. An annoyance for sure after not even receiving the pastries I ordered. After this past mix, up I finally learned my lesson and I'll be ordering from other locations.

I come here all the time but NOT ANYMORE!! There was no transition period to going cashless. The last time I was here they said nothing to me nor did they have anything posted saying they would no longer accept cash payments. I went in today and ordered a coffee and I only had cash on me no cards. The girl told me they don't accept cash anymore and I told her I didn't have any other way to pay. I asked her if she wld just take it cuz I really needed a coffee and had drove all the way over there to get one. She said no. So I asked if she would give me one on the house since I had no idea they were going cashless and that I come here all the time. She refused. Now, I wldnt normally ask for something free but since they had failed to post anything abt going cashless, I figured what would it hurt. She refused and seemed annoyed that I asked. I have been in customer service for many years and I would've made an exception and gave the customer one for free. Instead, i had to ask a customer that was sitting there if he would buy my coffee with his card and I would give him 10 dollars (cuz I had no change) for a 5.90 dollar coffee. It makes no sense to me to go cashless, why would you not give customers the option to pay with either cash or card? I will never buy from philz again unless they go back to cash and card.

Mobile ordering is a joke. Nothing ready 20 minutes after pickup time and baristas were having fun chatting. People came in, ordered at store and were done faster. Arg.

I had a terrible experience with barista Vanessa at the counter. I approached the barista to pick up my mobile order and she barked out just get the order on the counter. Bad day or bad habit of being rude? Most Philz employees have been very friendly but today Vanessa is an exception.

The landscapers harassed me when I asked the employee if the landscapers worked for them the females working behind the counter spoke to me condescendingly and with a judgmental attitude. Early morning hours 8:ish am.

I’m all for dogs but NOT in the coffee shop. I’m allergic and there is food. Philz needs to learn to get these animals out. No, there are NOT service animals.

Sorry Philz but you need to fix your app it reflects a drink is ready when there is still a 10 mins wait. The barista thought I was asking for my drink when all I did was communicate about an ingredient in my coffee drink it rubbed me the wrong way. And the fact they are stingy on their heavy cream is a put off too. Your coffee is 6.00 for a large and you are going to be stingy on heavy cream, seriously!

I came here cause i heard it was pali ownd so i wanted to support. Let me tell you what a joke of a store. They dont accept cash.... what a stupid idea lets not accept money yeah that makes sense. And the coffee was absolutely terrible' waterd down and flavor is terrible. I orderd egg bites i waited 15 minutes after coffee for those and never got them. So i just left without them if the coffees this bad i imagine egg bites arent worth the wait. Peets is way better. I dont reccomend this place
