Great food on the boardwalk. It's well worth it.
The food is fabulous; so far, I haven't tried anything I didn't love. The service and atmosphere are great!
Excellent place, the food was delicious.
Great desserts. Dinner service and food were excellent
Everything was delicious! The octopus carpaccio was amazing, the poblano pepper stuffed with seafood was delicious, and for dessert, the Edam cheese flan is a must-try!
They have a terrace, a heated area, and even private spaces. Nice decor, music... The food was delicious. I ordered the shrimp steak with a delicious sauce, my mom ordered the octopus kajule (it was well prepared, not chewy or tough), and my dad ordered seafood fettuccine (I don't remember the exact name). They heard it was my birthday and brought me a complimentary dessert. Very friendly and attentive staff.
The food was delicious! I tried the shrimp aguachile and the shrimp panuchos, both highly recommended. The coconut shrimp were a bit too sweet for me. The service from all the staff was fantastic; they even let us connect our own music to the speaker. The view is of the boardwalk, and the sunset is spectacular.
THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD, the service is great. It used to be a small restaurant, and I'm so glad they moved to the MALECON: great view, good parking, and the same good restaurant! VERY DELICIOUS FOOD, the service is just as good as when it was a small restaurant, and you don't have to struggle to find parking here. Magnificent view of the MALECON. Congratulations!
The food is tasty, the portions are somewhat small, and the place is very comfortable. It has air conditioning to avoid the Campeche heat and very good ventilation, as you don't smell the seafood like you do at other restaurants serving this type of food.
The waiters were attentive, although there weren't any napkins at first, they brought them after a while. The appetizers were just beans and tostada, nothing special. Up to this point, I wouldn't mind if the main course were delicious... but it falls short in both quantity and flavor. I ordered shrimp stuffed with mustard, and the crab was barely present (you could hardly see or feel it on the plate), the mustard flavor was bland, and the side of vegetables with mashed potatoes didn't seem to complement the seafood (it was neutral in flavor). The shrimp was perfectly cooked and very tender, which was the only redeeming feature. I've had tastier seafood for less money.
Very good food, congratulations to the chef!!! However, five days after my visit, they still can't send me my bill! It's a shame, since it's a good place to eat. However, for those of us who travel for work, these kinds of situations leave a bad taste in our mouths!
Average food. You can get a better meal for that price in Campeche. Not petfriendly
From the moment we arrived, I felt a vibe that's hard to explain. There was only one waiter, with an indifferent attitude, and two tables ahead of us. The menu looked appetizing, and my wife asked how the dishes were prepared. The waiter, with little patience, explained it to her with an attitude of "it's obvious." She ordered a "tikinxik" steak, and I ordered shrimp. They brought the drinks, some tortilla chips with beans that clearly looked and tasted canned. We waited over an hour for our food because they were attending to the diners at the other tables (I imagine they were regulars, fair-skinned, and looked like they had money). The biggest disappointment was tasting a bland tikinxik, with a taste like they'd squeezed a few limes on it—completely tasteless. To get the bill, we had to wait about 20 minutes for the waiter to approach, with an attitude that I would describe as either arrogant or indifferent. The bill wasn't cheap, nor did I expect it to be, obviously, but for that price, I expected better service... MUCH BETTER! I paid in cash because I wanted to avoid further frustration when they asked if I wanted to add a "service charge," and not have to recite the litany I was thinking of. It took another 20 minutes for them to bring the change (I don't know if they expected me to leave it as a "tip"). In total, adding up the time, it took an hour for the dishes to arrive, 20 minutes for the waiter to approach us to ask for the bill, 20 minutes for the bill to arrive, 20 minutes for the change to arrive, and we ate in 15 minutes. The meal was bland, tasteless, and lacked any appeal. I don't recommend eating there if you have a less-than-ideal skin tone, because you might be in for an unpleasant surprise. The previous service wasn't as unpleasant as this time and I came back because I liked the aguachile, but I definitely won't be returning.
Nothing good about your Galician octopus is even remotely Galician. The worst part is, we ordered a white wine and they brought us two: one was completely old and the other was supposedly a reserve, which costs 180 pesos in the store. There was no wine menu, no price per glass, and when the bill came, each glass was 180 pesos. It's not even good Mexican wine anymore, this cheap Chilean stuff, and there was no one to complain to. Apparently, that's what it was supposed to be, and there was no service. Well, this chef should be reported to the consumer protection agency (PROFECO) for price controls at all his restaurants. BEWARE!!! Don't fall for it like we did.
