Platillos a buen precio y delicioso. 100% recomendable.
He was so proud to support the owner, his wife Laura, and with gustó shared a history of being the first restaurant and maintaining traditional foods made with pride.
Great service, great food. Tacos dorados de papas (flautas de papas) are the best. I could eat this every day for the rest of my life. Great spicy sauce and nice drinks.
Lovely restaurant with really friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant is in a good location in the walled city close to many other attractions. There is a cute shop connected to the restaurant with souvenirs and a pet iguana. I recommend coming here.
Laid back restaurant on busy Calle 59 with good food, friendly team and relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely return.

Small, unassuming restaurant with amazing food and friendly staff. Great healthy, vegetarian options! There is indoor and outdoor seating and pictures of my hero Emiliano Zapata all over the walls!

Very good service ann nice food. My waitress attended to my every need. I sometimes have particular wishes and nothing was a problem. She even ran for me. Food was also good. So will come back.
Good food, good service, price is reasonable. Nice seating inside and out. Buena comida y servicio. Los precios son buenos. Lindo ambiente
Our waitress Celeste spoke excellent English which made our dinner selection easy. We had fish with vegetables and rice and also a Waldorf salad. After touring Mexico for the past 2 weeks it was nice to have a change from the local cuisine.
We came here for dinner one night. We got to sit at a table outside. I got a pork dish with tortillas. They gave a lot of food and had good flavor. With the cool air of the evening, it was a great meal.
We had the New Years Eve-menu and table booked at 9 pm. Not sure anyone knew what they were doing. We sat for 45 minutes without getting asked anything. Only 7 tables seated and 3 or 4 waiters (uncl…
Service was fine. Over priced. Tortilla chips so old they were chewy. Watery salsa. My wife's three cheese pasta had almost no cheese. To be fair it still tasted good just not what we were expecting.
Could have been great but cool not hot crepes and margaritas with little and then no tequila was a problem for me. Service with a smile and then they were kind and said they had not the change for the bill and gave us $2.00 back on our $25.00 bill for dinner for two. Great ambience weather permitting.
Good location, friendly staff BUT we had to wait 45 minutes for our food which were no way complicated dishes. The food itself was okay but far less than expected for this price. We had "chicken with vegetables and rice" (just some a few bricks of carrottes and zuchini I think...not much... chicken was good though) and chicken fajitas.. little bit dry and no real sauce... just three tortillas. Also beggers, musicians (some good, some bad) and vendors will constantly ask for money or that you buy anything. But that's the same for every restaurant in that particular street I guess.
This came recommended in our guidebook but sadly didn’t live up to expectations. We liked the location of this place a lot, the street is busy and lots of music/things going on, although we wish we’d just gone for drinks here instead of for food too. We ordered a plate of guacamole to start, but thirty minutes later the mains turned up, and when we asked about the starter we were told ‘sorry, we were out of guacamole’. I had the vegan fajitas, which meant i got a plate of plain fried vegetables (no sauce or seasoning) - i’m not sure if this is because I explained I was gluten free and they didn’t communicate that that meant it would just be plain or if that is honestly the vegan option. The tortillas only came about 4 minutes later. So the vegetables were cold by then. My friend went for the veggie burritos and was disappointed as they were mainly tortilla with little filling, and after two he was still hungry. Everything just took a long time, and having about four different servers in the outside area meant we were asked the same questions multiple times, but also there was no one who came to check after giving us the food - meaning I had to go looking for the salsas at one point. The bill came still with the guacamole on it, took another eight minutes to be sorted out and then brought to us again. Would not recommend to other veggie/vegans.
Service was good. That is all. Shrimp tacos are dry, boring, just shrimp, peppers and onions. Wife's steak fajita tacos taste like boiled meat or something. Not edible. The queso was just partially melted cheese. Was not impressed when brought out. However it actually was the highlight sad to say since everything else was terrible.
Worst experience! Waited almost a hour. Then we was informed it was slow, but food will be ready in 15 min. Waited another hour. waiter said we could cancel. Had not even started preparing the food…

Staff was eating a snack and was chewing while taking the order. Took them 20 min. (empty bar) to prepare a Corona and Pina Colada. Colada was pretty bad, decoration looked like someone ate half of it. Corona came without opening or lemon. So more or less a completely sad experience in an amazing spot.
Worst experience! Waited almost a hour. Then we was informed it was slow, but food will be ready in 15 min. Waited another hour. Waiter said we could cancel. Had not even started preparing the food. Horrible - should not be allowed to run a restaurant if this the standard!! Paid for drinks and left.
we ordered a hamburger with wedges and chicken with mangosause. we only liked the rice. there is no love for cooking here. very bad wedges, not fresh, dry chicken. the promised artesenal bread turned out to be a mc donald bread. No we don t recommend this place.
Don't ever go to this so-called restaurant!!! Warning! We made relatively simple orders, two salads and two fish dishes, but we had to wait for one hour forty minutes to get the food, in spite of the fact that there was almost no other customers there. While we were waiting, the waiter was hovering around and repeatedly asked whether we would like to order more beer. When the salads finally came, the two of us who ordered the fish still had to wait for another 15 minutes. And when the fish finally arrived, it turned out to be rubber-like, dry and over-cooked, accompanied by dry rice and dry carrots. This restaurant was recommended in the lonely planets guide to Yucatan (July 2019 edition), which is a complete mystery, and make me wonder whether the authors of the guide have ever been to the place.
